Loving Pet Care When You Need It
What sets me apart is that I only care for pets from one household at a time. This means your pet won't be sharing their space with unfamiliar animals and will receive my full attention, care, and companionship throughout their stay. I enjoy walking and staying active, so dogs in my care can look forward to plenty of exercise, long walks, and outdoor time. I am calm, patient, and caring with all animals, and I always do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I live with my boyfriend, so pets staying with me should be comfortable around men. If your dog is nervous around men or prefers a female-only environment, please let me know before booking so we can determine whether it would be a suitable match. Because I occasionally travel for extended periods, I am not able to have pets of my own permanently. This is one of the reasons pet sitting is so meaningful to me-it allows me to enjoy the companionship of animals while providing them with the love, care, and attention they deserve.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Asta enough! 🐾❤️ Koko stayed with her while we were away on holiday and I felt completely at ease knowing she was being so well looked after. I received regular updates every day, including little messages about how Koko was doing and what she had been up to, which was so lovely and reassuring. Asta looked after our dog for 8 days and we were really happy with the care and attention she gave. She provided daily updates with pictures and videos, and we would whole heartedly recommend her to others!
Asta was absolutely brilliant looking after Morris who is our 5 year old Sprocker. At times, Morris is not an easy dog, and we provided really clear instructions to Asta who followed these but also took the time to get to know Morris and his needs. Asta was engaged, curious and in constant communication with us throughout the weekend she had him. She was attentive, clear and very responsible with him and it was just a pleasure to get to know her and knowing he was in such safe hands. She also looked after our property very well. All in all it was a brilliant experience and we would highly recommend Asta.

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m currently studying and looking for full-time work, so I have flexible time and can properly focus on caring for pets instead of rushing through it. I enjoy spending my time productively, and being around animals is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping pets company, I like giving them attention and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day.

I always start by asking the owner about their pet’s routine, rules, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care exactly how they prefer. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I can care for pets both in the owner’s home and, if needed, in my own rented house, which has a garden and space for pets to stay overnight. However, I usually prefer caring for pets in their own home because it helps them stay relaxed in a familiar environment. I make sure pets get proper attention, walks, playtime, fresh food and water, and a calm, respectful atmosphere where they feel cared for and comfortable.
