“Armish did an exceptional job caring for Dante while I was away on holiday. Leaving a pet is always stressful, especially when they require extra attention and strict rest, but Armish provided complete peace of mind from start to finish. Communication throughout the week was outstanding, featuring prompt daily updates alongside wonderful photos and videos that kept me completely reassured. Every instruction was followed meticulously, from managing Dante's specific routine and feeding schedule to handling his crate-rest needs with immense gentleness and care. Dante took to Armish immediately, staying calm, relaxed, and comfortable the entire time. Returning home to a content and happy cat made all the difference. I cannot recommend Armish highly enough to anyone in search of a trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated pet sitter, and I will certainly be booking again for future trips!”

About: I have owned dogs or 40 years , looked after friends dogs . Dogs coming to my home will be treated like a member of our family . Everything we do evolves around our dog. I currently am mummy to Peggy who is a very cute yorkie / cross . I have owned many large breeds over the years . There are no boundaries in my home , easy access to our garden . I am home all day every day , I have taken early retirement. My days are spent dog walking , diy , cooking etc . Your pooch will never be left alone . Guaranteed 3 lovely park walks per day . I am only wanting to board 1 extra dog as well as my own so that I can give one to one attention to our guest !! They will have the run of our house & a garden to mooch around in . My dog Peggy loves other dogs & is very sociable. She spends most days sitting in the garden bird watching !!! Your pooch is welcome to come & go from house to garden , the front door is always open ,large gates , very safe garden. We socialise with lots of other doggy friends & owners , sometimes meeting for coffee in local park , my home is a family home with frequent visits from my daughter & 4 year old Grandson .
About: I grew up with a Sheltie and a mixed-breed dog, and through years of living closely with them, I developed a deep understanding of animals' emotional and physical needs. This lifelong bond has shaped the way I care for every pet, treating them with the same love and attention I would give my own. In addition to my own dogs, I've cared for many breeds including Dobermans, Corgis, Poodles, Huskies, and Border Collies, as well as cats. I always aim to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for each pet while their owners are away. Your pets are in experienced, caring hands! I work from home and am available to provide dedicated pet care. Your pets will receive my full attention, with flexible scheduling for walks, visits, and cuddles! There would be no other pets in the my accommodation, ensuring a peaceful environment and avoiding any potential pet conflicts. When staying with pets, I make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe - I aim to provide same love and care to your pets as you provided for them. I will stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots. I will also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise if needed, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.
“Right from the start, I knew Hugo would be well looked after by Dawn and her family. She made us both feel welcome and instantly relaxed. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me updated on Hugo’s day. He’s a big dog with lots of energy but Dawn embraced this, walked and played with him and let him rest when he needed it. You can see how much Dawn genuinely loves dogs and always talks about the other dogs she looks after by name which shows that this is a passion for Dawn and not just a job. I will absolutely be booking Dawn again”

“Hattie has been amazing! This was the first time I’d ever used daycare for my dog Stan so I was a bit nervous and Hattie really helped put my mind at ease from the start. Hattie is flexible, responsive, experienced and sends lots of photos and updates during the day, which I really appreciate. Most importantly, Stan loves it and was clearly happy to go back! We're really glad we found her 🐶”

“We had a great experience with Monika looking after our dog, Goofy. She kindly accepted our request at the last minute, which we really appreciated. She took great care of Goofy and kept us updated when requested. The house was lovely and clean, and Monika and her family were so friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, Goofy really enjoyed his stay and was very happy when we picked him up. 🐶❤️ Thank you so much, Monika, for taking such good care of him. We would definitely recommend her and will happily use her again! 😊”

“First visit. Thomas has a quiet, calm manner which suits my dog, Freddie. He took him to Roundhay Park where Freddie walked happily. Freddie spent the afternoon snoozing and when I picked him up, he was pleased to see me but had apparently been settled and content with Thomas.”

About: Experience of caring for puppies and our own (nearly) 2 year old Cockapoo. Sparkles very quickly became the centre of our family and we love her so much. We trained her ourselves in terms of toilet training, basic/moderate attention skills (sit, wait stay, come) with some added fun ones such as spin etc! We have cared for family and friends older dogs and appreciate that every dog has their own personality and needs which us carers need to adapt to. We have the space and time to be able to be adaptable to yours and your dogs preferences. I also have experience with administering medicines. Dog care is my sole line of work so I have plenty of time to give lots of love and care to your dog. We have a 6 year old daughter who also loves to play with any playful pups. Our 2 year old cockapoo has stayed at other dog sitters homes so has interacted with numerous dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. She is very loving and playful but is easily adaptable to more placid natured dogs. Access to our good sized fenced garden can be provided at any time during the day and I can also give access during the night should that be required. We usually do 1 short walk on a morning, a longer (30-60 mins) at lunch time and another short walk early evening but we can be adaptable. Your beloved dog will only ever be left on its own for short periods if at all but if you do not want your dog on its own please let us know and this can be provided upon short notice. I have a good sized fenced garden and inside your dog will have access to plenty of space. I can crate if required with your own crate. We allow dogs on our sofas but not on our dining furniture. Plenty of attention given at all times. We will follow how you want your dog cared for to our upmost best and your dogs safety is our priority. We have a tracker we can attach to your dog on arrival should you wish for added safety.
“Christian was very accommodating and my dog went away happily to spend the day without a glance back. Grateful for the support while I went to work knowing he was being cared for”

“Chris was fantastic! She was really responsive from the start and kept us updated with photos throughout the day, which was so reassuring. Otis had a great time and came home happy and tired. We'd definitely recommend Chris and wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

“Our Miniature Schnauzer Sapphie loved her day with Suyin. Since she came home, she's been happy, very calm and clearly had a great time today. We would highly recommend Suyin and will definitely use again.”

“Sprout had the best day with Laura and her Whippet! She even let Laura give her belly rubs which she only does when she’s super comfortable. I was really happy with the amount of updates and photos. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Katrina was absolutely amazing. The girls loved her, were excited to see her and were happy when they came home, even aida who can be shy around strangers! Great communication, photos from their walks of the dogs happy and content which made us at ease that they were comparable with her! Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of my two girls, making it so stress free and getting two well exercised and happy dogs home after their walks! Would definitely reccomend Katrina to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their pets, she has an amazing connection with animals which is lovely to see. Thanks again from me and the girls!”

About: I am a reliable, trust worthy person which is shown from having worked as a doctor for 2 years. I spent a vast amount of my time around my relative and friends dogs since childhood, and love the companionship dogs provide. I have provided dog sitting both during the day and overnight for a variety of dogs and am confident in looking after them for extended periods. I’m currently working part time as a bank doctor which means I am able to pick and choose when I work. I am therefore available 7/7 days a week at any time and will book shifts around my dog sitting. I live in a flat that is dog proof. I will spend the majority of the time with the dogs on walks and at the park, but will also be able to keep dogs in the flat and overnight if needed

About: I have loved all animals since a small child. I grew up with a west highland terrier, my brother had Rottweilers and I’ve helped look after neighbours dogs including labradors. I’ve been on borrow my doggie the last few years having looked after a whole range of dogs, including a rescue. I’m looking forward to looking after dogs on Rover now, too! I work full time, but I already have morning, lunchtime and evening walks (I jokingly describe myself as a dog!). Kirkstall Abbey and Becketts park are both less than 10 minutes to get to by foot - but I do have a car too for longer journeys. I’m in a flat, but it’s large and has a nice communal garden, my neighbours do have two very cute Maltese dogs, so any dog I care for will need to be friendly with other dogs. My flat is large and I have a nice medium sized fenced and gated communal garden. Any dogs I look after will get regular toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so your dog will get all of my attention!

About: I've always grown up around dogs -- first we had a boxer dog and then we got a boxador puppy who I trained and raised as a teenager. I have a toddler who is also dog obsessed and so we are looking to go on dog walks and dog visits together. I'm a stay-at-home Mum so can be incredibly flexible, I choose what my day looks like! Please feel free to reach out last minute! I cannot have dogs in my own home, but I have a car and am more than happy to travel to visit other dogs and do take dogs on walks..
“Eloise was very good with Hovis. She spent time beforehand getting to know Hovis and asked about about any specific requirements. She provided me with lots of photos when they were out on the walk.”

About: I’ve looked after dogs since I was little and gone on hired dog walks as I always wanted a dog of my own! I now have a nearly 4 year old border collie and have plenty of experience with dogs. She is trained to do all sort of fun tricks (even buttons) and just simply love being around dogs - whether that’s for a down time cuddle or for playing around outside. Happy to take dogs as grouped walk with my own pooch or if they prefer without company too! I’m currently working on a project that will be from home most of the time, so there will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks, long walks, lots of cuddles and play time! I have a long fenced garden, not along any big roads. Not only this but a gentle border collie who loves to play, will happily share toys and treats and simply loves making friends!
“Our dog adores Liam, always happy to see him. Liam brings with home many years of living with dogs and academic qualifications, not only is he giving our dog the daytime exercise and attention he needs, but also experience on how to raise and train a puppy. Thank you Liam”
“Charlotte & Josh were fantastic with our 2 labradors. Right from the start they understood their needs and were very responsive to how they liked to be walked & what would suit them best, keeping them local to the routes they knew to make sure they were happy. They fed back straight away and asked questions where they were unsure of anything. Very happy to use weekly. .”

About: I have cared for dogs of all ages and personalities over the years, including my own much loved Australian Shepherd. I am experienced in looking after energetic puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs who may need a gentler pace or additional support. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and treat every guest as a cherished member of the family. My home offers a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment, with a very large, secure garden surrounded by greenery and trees where dogs can explore, play and relax. I also provide plenty of toys, enrichment and individual attention to help keep them happy and mentally engaged throughout their stay. I have the time and flexibility to give each dog the care they deserve, including long walks in nature, playtime, companionship and plenty of affection. I take time to understand every dog’s usual routine, personality and individual needs, whether they enjoy active adventures, gentle walks, puppy training or simply relaxing in a calm home environment. When your dog stays with me, their safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. My aim is to provide dependable, loving care and a genuine home from home, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is comfortable, cared for and having a wonderful stay. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. I have plenty of free time throughout the day to dedicate to walking, playing, and caring for dogs. Mornings usually start with a good long walk in nature, followed by feeding and some playtime in my large enclosed garden with trees and toys. I’m home most of the day, so dogs get lots of attention, company, and regular breaks outside. Evenings often include another walk or quiet time together. This flexible schedule means I can provide consistent, loving care every day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets in my home. I provide a secure, calm, and loving environment where dogs feel comfortable and protected. My home has a really large enclosed garden with trees, allowing dogs to play freely without risk. I carefully supervise all dogs during playtime and walks to ensure their wellbeing. I maintain a clean and safe space, regularly checking for any hazards, and tailor care to each pet’s individual needs, including diet, exercise, and any medical requirements. I build strong trust with pet owners through clear, honest communication and updates on their pet’s wellbeing. My goal is to create a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners, knowing their loved ones are in safe, caring hands.
About: I love all kinds of pets & I’m eager to spend some time with dogs! I have experience independently caring for dogs, walking them, training them & giving them plenty of fuss. Whilst I love pets, I can’t currently commit to one of my own due to my work schedule but I would love to give your pup the love & care I would give my own. I am comfortable with walking dogs on any kind of lead & I am more than happy to keep up with any training your pup might be doing. I’m happy to administer any medications your pet might need but I’m not qualified to give injections. If my calendar looks full, please just drop me a message & I can try & squeeze your pet in :) I currently work part time in retail & I am available Wednesday afternoons & on weekends. I go on a lot of hikes & walks so if you have a particularly active pet that’s happy in the car, I’d love to take them for a day out. I can’t currently keep pets in my own home as I live in a flat. But I am comfortable looking after pets in their own homes & taking them on walks on whatever kind of lead they need.
“Natalie was really fab with our Goldie Luna and Luna loved her within moments of meeting her. Natalie sent us some videos and photos during their hour walk and we loved that we got to see the route they’d been on on the app. Thanks Natalie! :)”

About: I've cared for animals of all kinds and personalities from playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets recovering from surgery. I also have experience with rescue animals, including timid or nervous dogs and cats who need extra patience and reassurance, and have administered injections into diabetic animals in my care. I'll diligently adhere to your care routines to make sure you and your pet feels safe and supported. Whether it's a long walk, a gentle cuddle, or extra time to build trust, I always adapt to each animal's individual needs. I work full time from home which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. I can take walks during lunch breaks and longer walks after work, with regular toilet breaks whenever needed. Your pet will rarely be left alone and I'm able to make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. My home is smoke-free, pet-free, and child-free, providing a quiet and relaxed environment where visiting pets can feel completely at ease. Your pet's safety and comfort is my top priority and in my home, I provide a clean, smoke-free, pet-free, and child-free environment, so visiting pets can relax in a calm and stress-free space. I take time to get to know each animal's routine, personality, and comfort levels, ensuring they always feel secure and cared for. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow all instructions carefully – from feeding and walks to medication and playtime – to maintain their usual routine and keep them happy. I always keep a close eye on pets, use secure leads and harnesses on walks, and make sure doors and gates are properly closed. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home, wherever they are. I'm an early riser, so first thing I like to do is to take your dog for a walk. Living in LS7 there's plenty of places to go - Chapel Allerton Park, Gledhow Woods, Roundhay Park... If it's a larger dog I tend to go a little further afield; Golden Acre Park, Meanwood Park, Adel Woods or other - to ensure they have plenty of space to have a run and get some exercise. This is followed by a lunchtime walk, and an evening walk. I also take dogs out on a toilet break walk before I go to sleep. I live in a house, with a walled off garden. It's a child, pet and smoke free environment so I am able to give your pet the attention it deserves.
