She has taken amazing care of our cats, including one of our girls who has ongoing medical needs requiring twice-daily medication, as well as an acute issue just before one of our trips. About: I fell in love with looking after animals when I got my first pet - a Syrian hamster named Truffle at the age of 14. Since then, I have looked after many friends’ cats. I have just graduated from music scholarship, therefore haven’t been surrounded by pets for a good 3 years and I can’t wait to get to know your furry friends. My flat is filled with calming music played on my guitar, which has been a hit with my friends’ pets (as you can see in my photo).

“Right from the start, I knew Hugo would be well looked after by Dawn and her family. She made us both feel welcome and instantly relaxed. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me updated on Hugo’s day. He’s a big dog with lots of energy but Dawn embraced this, walked and played with him and let him rest when he needed it. About: I currently have my own 3 year old smooth cockapoo and regularly take care of my parents cockapoo alongside neighbours cavalier King Charles spaniel. I have experience with nervous dogs! Dogs will get walked once a day with my own dog in the large dog friendly park nearby. They’d have free run of my downstairs during the day as I work from home downstairs, so they’re never left alone. My back garden is large and fully enclosed so secure for them to play in :) I work from home so am available all week. My dog is bell trained for toilet breaks but toilet breaks can be whenever needed due to my working downstairs. I have an enclosed garden and my own dog to keep yours company. Dogs are allowed on my sofas and also upstairs, however I tend to stay downstairs for most of the day :)

About: I am a huge dog person and lost my own dog 2 years ago but not ready to have my own again but love the outdoors, enjoy walking and cycling and nice to have a dog around for company and to walk with. I have recently stopped working but still go out fir a walk every day, first thing in the morning and later in the afternoon. I often drive to the canal, Otley, ilkley and walk. About: I have loved all animals since a small child. I grew up with a west highland terrier, my brother had Rottweilers and I’ve helped look after neighbours dogs including labradors. I’ve been on borrow my doggie the last few years having looked after a whole range of dogs, including a rescue. I’m looking forward to looking after dogs on Rover now, too! I work full time, but I already have morning, lunchtime and evening walks (I jokingly describe myself as a dog!). Kirkstall Abbey and Becketts park are both less than 10 minutes to get to by foot - but I do have a car too for longer journeys. I’m in a flat, but it’s large and has a nice communal garden, my neighbours do have two very cute Maltese dogs, so any dog I care for will need to be friendly with other dogs. My flat is large and I have a nice medium sized fenced and gated communal garden. Any dogs I look after will get regular toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment, so your dog will get all of my attention!

About: I’ve always loved animals especially dogs and I treat them literally like fur babies! Ever since I was a young child I’ve had dogs around me and as pets. I use to always enjoy walking the neighbours dogs too. I’ve looked after friends and family’s pets numerous of times whilst they’ve been on holiday or just at work. I have a cocker spaniel of my own so he loves tagging along for the exercise and to socialise with other dogs! I’ve also helped friends when their dogs have had a litter. Also any dog for long periods of time!) I'm Addie, 32, she/they. I have experience with multiple dog breeds, from jack russels and staffys, to huskies and westies, to lurchers and pugs. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.
About: I have a fully dog-friendly day to day! With a dog loving office and the beautiful canal on my door step. I’ve cared for naughty pups and gentle giants and have a perfect spot for them on my sofa! My partner lives in London and has a big old softy Old English bulldog which stays with me monthly. About: I have owned dogs or 40 years , looked after friends dogs . Dogs coming to my home will be treated like a member of our family . Everything we do evolves around our dog. I currently am mummy to Peggy who is a very cute yorkie / cross . I have owned many large breeds over the years . There are no boundaries in my home , easy access to our garden . I am home all day every day , I have taken early retirement. My days are spent dog walking , diy , cooking etc . Your pooch will never be left alone . Guaranteed 3 lovely park walks per day . I am only wanting to board 1 extra dog as well as my own so that I can give one to one attention to our guest !! They will have the run of our house & a garden to mooch around in . My dog Peggy loves other dogs & is very sociable. She spends most days sitting in the garden bird watching !!! Your pooch is welcome to come & go from house to garden , the front door is always open ,large gates , very safe garden. We socialise with lots of other doggy friends & owners , sometimes meeting for coffee in local park , my home is a family home with frequent visits from my daughter & 4 year old Grandson .

About: Part 1 of 2- I currently work as a housekeeper, I am fully DBS checked and I have being looking after family’s pets (cats/dogs/rabbits)for the past year on the side. I love animals and looking after them as I find them comforting to be around. I also have 3 animals myself, guinea pigs, who I look after everyday, clean and feed them! I also did have a cat for 7 years previously and I have owned a rabbit previously aswell.
