“Right from the start, I knew Hugo would be well looked after by Dawn and her family. She made us both feel welcome and instantly relaxed. She sent lots of photos and videos and kept me updated on Hugo’s day. He’s a big dog with lots of energy but Dawn embraced this, walked and played with him and let him rest when he needed it. You can see how much Dawn genuinely loves dogs and always talks about the other dogs she looks after by name which shows that this is a passion for Dawn and not just a job. About: I am a huge dog person and lost my own dog 2 years ago but not ready to have my own again but love the outdoors, enjoy walking and cycling and nice to have a dog around for company and to walk with. I have recently stopped working but still go out fir a walk every day, first thing in the morning and later in the afternoon. I often drive to the canal, Otley, ilkley and walk. I have a fenced in garden back and front which are both secure. I do not gave dogs on the furniture or upstairs but plenty of room downstairs for them to sleep and roam.

About: I’ve loved dogs since childhood and have always had them in my life. I am a single person who spends much of my free time out walking in nature, which I enjoy even more if I have a dog to walk with me! I’m very much the go-to dog sitter in my family and regularly help care for my elderly grandparents’ golden retriever, my mums Jack Russell and my dad’s cockapoo. So I’m used to supporting dogs of all sizes with different needs, routines and personalities. I’d be very happy to walk your dog, visit them in their own home or have them stay with me at my house in Rodley where I have access to the Leeds to Liverpool canal as well as parks and woods right on my door step. I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, and I’ll always treat yours with patience, kindness and genuine affection. I work full time Monday to Friday (9–5:30pm) from home, which means I naturally build my days around regular dog walks—usually 2–3 a day around work. With no children or other commitments, my mornings, lunchtime, evenings and weekends are very flexible, and I love getting out for longer walks in the countryside or exploring different trails in and around Leeds. Also happy to commit to a regular schedule or just one offs I’m calm by nature and will always respect your care preferences, whether that’s sticking to a routine, gentle companionship at home, or sociable walks with friends and their dogs.

About: I currently have my own 3 year old smooth cockapoo and regularly take care of my parents cockapoo alongside neighbours cavalier King Charles spaniel. I have experience with nervous dogs! Dogs will get walked once a day with my own dog in the large dog friendly park nearby. They’d have free run of my downstairs during the day as I work from home downstairs, so they’re never left alone. My back garden is large and fully enclosed so secure for them to play in :) I work from home so am available all week. My dog is bell trained for toilet breaks but toilet breaks can be whenever needed due to my working downstairs. I have an enclosed garden and my own dog to keep yours company. Dogs are allowed on my sofas and also upstairs, however I tend to stay downstairs for most of the day :)
