“Maddie and Alex boarded our ten month old Doberman puppy again last weekend so we could attend a wedding. When Roxy arrived at their house her tail began to wag and she was eager to get into the house, and play with them both. She was happy to see them knowing she would be looked after. She went on lots of long walks in the countryside and was very well cared for. I am fussy who we leave Roxy with, but would highly recommend this young couple to look after your pet. “Harry and his partner looked after Lenny for nearly two weeks, and I couldn't have asked for better carers. They kept me updated throughout his stay with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious from the updates that they genuinely care about animal welfare and treat every dog as if it were their own. Their home is spacious and welcoming, and it's surrounded by plenty of outdoor space for walks, which Lenny clearly enjoyed. From the photos, it was easy to see he was having a great time exploring. When I collected Lenny, he looked happy, relaxed, and in excellent health, which says everything about the level of care he received :-) I wouldn't hesitate to leave Lenny with Harry again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring dog sitters.”

“My Storm went for a sleep over as an extended meet and greet to see if Tracy and her were a match.. I could tell instantly that Storm was comfortable. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. I just hope I get a better greeting off Storm after my trip. Thank you, 🐾”

About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

About: We love dogs and we were sad to lose ours suddenly in 2022. She is not replaceable just yet but do miss having a furry friend around. We now do home boarding and want to share our love with other dogs with nice walks and family cuddles. Both myself and my husband work but mainly from home so can be available midweek. Most weekends we are free and enjoy country walks as a family, apart from the odd weekend away we have ample availability to look after your pet! We live in a 4 bedroomed house with an enclosed rear garden, we live in a semi rural location with access to lots of immediate walks. I have had dogs in the family for 15 years and have spent the last year looking after our 4 legged friends on and off for family and friends. Just recently, I became a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) so I am exploring things to do alongside my work to give me some balance - so far, dog sitting has been the answer! As a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) as long as I get my hours done, I can work around the schedule you have established with your pupper. I am available pretty much everyday, but later part of the week and weekends are often better. I will follow your established routine. In this way, it's a seamless transition for your dog. I love a good walk in the park, local woods, or the like - and if your pupper does too, we will get on just fine. I won't hesitate to call you should that be needed, but equally, I am keen to give you a break if that's needed (or alternatively, send you lots of photos if your missing your pupper). Your companion will be in safe hands.

I can follow specific instructions for individual pets as I understand how important routine and consistency can be for some.
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life from a child now in my 60s and I still have a fur baby. Medically trained although on human not our furry friends I’m semi retired, medically trained currently still working part time and have a lot of spare time. I will be available Saturday and Sundays, Monday and Wednesday between 8-8 covering Cottam and surrounding area for walks, drop in, feeds etc There has always been pets in my life whether growing up, friends or my own. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

I am punctual, reliable, flexible, this may be because prior to dog walking I was a police officer for over 20 years. I am currently available for new customers and walks around the Preston area. I offer 1 to 1 or sometimes 2 to 1 walks, I prefer this as I believe that my dog can then have my full attention and it also allows me to interact fully with my dog. About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I have had pets my whole life (cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits) & have lots of experience with cat-sitting. I even have my own cat (who I take on walks 🤣 I know I sound crazy but he enjoys it). I have also done some dog-sitting, and love taking them for long walks! I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & a part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!
About: I have been taking care of pets since 8 years now. Along with my husband, I moved countries, leaving our pets ( 2 dogs and 2 cats) behind with our loving family who currently take care of them! Making use of all this built up love and longing for our fur babies till we meet them again! x I am currently on mat leave and husband works 4 days which gives us plenty of time to board according to our availability and your needs.
