“So pleased that I found Lesley. My dog had a great time and the care that she received was excellent. Long runs, cuddles on the sofa and Lesley even gave her a bath after she rolled in fox poo! Thank you ☺️”

“Daniel was wonderful from start to finish. We met pre booking & he took notes about my dog & her needs. He took her home for a few minutes so that I could see if she was happy. She clearly loved him! Dan sent pics & videos while we're away, communicated clearly throughout the process & updated me about her stay when we returned. Would thoroughly recommend! Thanks Dan, you were fantastic 😃👌”

About: I am retired and looking to share my many years of dog ownership after losing my best friend recently. Missing the walks and the hugs and those special times that only dogs can give. Nice big home set in a countryside location and no other pets/children or other distractions. Experience with border collies, senior care and nervous dogs. I have recently retired and am able to accommodate my time to the care of dogs. If I have committed to looking after your dog(s) they will receive full care and attention throughout their stay. I live in a large house with a paddock for excercise at home and access to many country walks. I have a car and am familiar with transporting dogs if allowed for days out at the beach etc. Your dog would reside in the home with me and my husband, Chris. I am also experienced with walking dogs on a long lead so they can exercise whilst remaining secure.

“Mark did a great job looking after my 2 dogs this weekend. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos he sent, which kept my mind at ease. My only piece of feedback is regarding the drop-off; Mark was headed out the door as I arrived, which felt a bit rushed and left me a little uneasy about them being left alone immediately. However, the dogs seemed happy and well-cared for upon my return.”

About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life, so I am very comfortable caring for and looking after pets on a daily basis. I currently have a dog and two cats who get along very well, creating a calm and safe home environment. This has given me ongoing experience managing different animal needs. Through helping care for dogs for family and friends, I have gained experience with different dog personalities and care requirements, including walking and feeding. I aim to create a calm and safe environment so that every dog feels comfortable in my care. I understand the importance of ensuring owners feel confident and reassured that their dog is being taken care of properly. I'm currently a university student home for the summer and I also work as bank staff at the hospital. This gives me a flexible schedule, meaning I have plenty of time during the week and weekends to take care of your dog! Being at home also means I have lots of additional support around me, helping to ensure your dog recieves the best care at all times. I have a fenced and secure garden where your dog can safely run around and play. I also have pets of my own, which provides your dog with some company while they're here. Where I am located, there is a woodland area just a 2-minute walk away with a variety of extensive walking routes away from busy roads, ensuring safe and enjoyable walks.

“Laura and Matt took such great care of Zola during the 2 days she stayed with them. A few days before the boarding, we scheduled a meet and greet so they could get to know Zola’s daily routine and habits, and so Zola could become familiar with her surroundings. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Laura and Matt again. You can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and treat them with so much love, care, and attention. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our girl 😊”

About: I have had and cared for 8 dogs over the years and have also spent a lot of time looking after my neighbours’ and friends’ dogs. This has given me experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities. I enjoy teaching dogs simple tricks, playing with them, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I always treat every dog as if they were my own and make their safety and wellbeing my top priority. As a school leaver, I have plenty of free time and a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate time to looking after pets. I love being outdoors and walking is one of my main hobbies, so taking dogs on regular walks fits perfectly into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with animals and can provide them with lots of attention, exercise, playtime, and care throughout the week. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, whether they are in my home or their owner’s home. I stick to their usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I give them plenty of attention and affection, make sure they get enough exercise, and keep their environment clean and secure. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away.

Experienced owning small dog breeds and happy to look after your lively pup or older souls 🐶💜 I only board 1 dog at a time so they will have plenty of my care and attention during their stay with me 🐾 I work from home and have split days so I am available for a few hours every day to take your dog out with us on lovely walks and play dates. About: 🐾 Welcome to Bonnie’s Buddies 🐾 A loving home-from-home dog boarding and sitting service with over 40 years of experience caring for dogs, including breeding Labrador Retrievers. My wife Angie and myself provide a safe, friendly and relaxed environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. Walks, cuddles, playtime and personalised care included ❤️ Reliable • Experienced • Caring Message us for availability 🐶 We have a lovely French bulldog called Bonnie, she is friendly and very submissive with other dogs, myself and my husband work from home during the week, so there is always someone to look after your dog. On weekends we go for walks with Bonnie around the local area. We have a fully fenced garden with a big grass area and patio, we used to breed Labradors so plenty of experience looking after dogs. We have hard floors all across the ground floors and dogs are allowed on the sofa.

About: For the last 5 years, my partner and I have been crazy about dogs. We’re usually the first point of call to look after the dogs in our family and friendship groups! We cannot wait to have a dog of our own but with a wedding to pay for (hence the side hustle!) we do not have the time or money for full time just yet. We have experience in looking after dogs of all ages. From minding a puppy for the evening to extended stays with a senior dog of 14 (!) years. We have a very spacious home with a large fenced garden. Your furry friend will be looked after like it was our own. Lots of walks, cuddles (but not on the sofa :D) and a few treats here and there. Living on the doorstep of Cureden Valley park gives us great access to amazing dog walks, no matter the weather! I work from home 3 days a week, but this can be flexible for longer bookings. Long weekends can work best with Friday - Tuesday the best time to book. Please get in touch if you are interested! We will have more scope to look after any dogs during the School holidays as my partner is a teacher but please get in touch about specific dates! I work from home 3 days a week. Typically these days are Monday, Tuesday & Friday. We are more than happy to look after your little, or large, friend for an extended weekend and for longer bookings this can be flexible. The day would start with a long walk either around Cureden park or other surrounding paths and fields for around 30 minutes- 1 hour. With regular toilet breaks throughout the day, we will always ensure our dog is comfortable and is staying in their home away from home. Once my partner comes home from work, we would typically then walk together for around 1 hour in the late afternoon. Again, this is whatever the weather! We are equipped with boots and waterproofs so this doesn’t bother us. At the weekend, your dog will be our main priority and a big long walk (if they are able!) will be the main event of the day. We have a very spacious home with a large fenced garden. This gives your pet the chance to explore throughout the day! We usually look after our family’s dogs, a cockapoo and a Labrador and they have lots of space to run around) We have looked after them at the same time before so would have no issue in looking after 2 dogs (3 would be a struggle!) We don’t allow dogs on the furniture but they are allowed upstairs if they want to explore. We are also happy for them to be in any room. In the evening, after a nice long walk, we love nothing more than settling down to watch some tv, maybe with a fire on, and some snuggles on the floor with your furry friend. During the night, your dog would be left in the kitchen, with any tempting food safely out of harms way!). All doors would be closed but we don’t mind if they wander upstairs and want to lie on the carpet (we find our dogs generally do). If you would prefer your dog to be kept in its crate this is absolutely fine and we will go with whatever routine has worked best for you. This is your dogs home away from home, so making them & yourself comfortable will be our number 1 priority!
“Absolutely perfect boarding experience, lovely family, plenty of photos and updates! Max was playing with the little girl in the garden and went on a long walk! He’s been fast asleep since I picked him up, he didn’t want to leave, bless him! Would definitely recommend this sitter! Thank you so much xx”

“Rosie loved spending the weekend with Sue. Sue looks after her so well, always providing regular updates and she always comes back happy. Would thoroughly recommend Sue, Rosie can't wait to stay again next month.”

“We can't recommend Rizwana H highly enough! From the moment we first connected, it was clear they truly love and understand cats. They took the time to get to know our kitty's personality, routines, and quirks, and kept us updated with daily messages, photos, and videos that truly put our minds at ease while we were away. We came home to a calm, happy, and well-cared-for pet, with everything in perfect order. It’s such a relief to know we can travel without worrying, thanks to Rizwana H. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and treats your pets like their own, look no further. We’re so grateful we found them, and we’ll definitely be using their service again. Thanks again for everything 💙”

“Caitlin cared for our cat for 16 days and looked after our home with total reliability. When an emergency required twice-daily visits, she stepped up without hesitation. Calm, punctual, and truly dependable. We 100% recommend her and will always go back to her.”

About: Hey! I'm Charlie- a reliable, caring cat sitter who genuinely loves spending time with cats and getting to know their little quirks and routines. At parties, I'm the one you can find in the corner fawning over the furry friend of the house! I have a 16-year-old cat of my own called Pepsi, who I adore. He has kidney disease, so I’m very used to caring for a senior cat and administering both oral and topical medication (though I don’t offer injections).
About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I work in Education and am also a student. I am often up early in the morning and would love to fit in some visits around work. I have flexible working and work from home benefits so I can work from your home with plenty of breaks, or do a half day at home and half at work. My weekends and evenings are mostly free so plenty of time then too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I like clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

“Becca was absolutely amazing! She kept us up to date with regular photos & messages about how our little furry friend was doing. She was so lovely & friendly & we are so glad we found her to look after our Rocky! We will definitely be using her next time we go away! Thank you so much Becca!!”

“Amy has been wonderful. Communication was very easy, she came to the house to meet Smokey before we made a decision and they got on very well. We got a daily update and on arrival Smokey was very happy and calm. Would definitely recommend and use again! Thank you, Amy 🥰”

“Matthew was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure my pets were happy and cared for. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Matthew, you were truly brilliant.”

About: I have 10+ years of owning and caring for cats, ranging from kittens to elderly cats, and I pride myself on being able to provide a safe and welcoming environment for your babies in your own home. I understand each cat’s unique personality makes caring for them different and I pride myself on tailoring my services to ensure the best possible care. I know how hard it can be leaving your pets in the care of someone else while you’re away, and I understand what is needed to give you the reassurance you’re looking for.

“Holly is an absolute natural with animals ..our Arthur took to her immediately 😂 She has been so caring and very playful with Arthur, he has learnt new tricks! Also his hair appears more shiny on our return..he's been brushed a lot which is great...he loves that! All in all we would 100 percent recommend Holly and hope she returns time again 👏. ”

About: I provide calm, patient, and attentive care, always respecting each cat’s personality and routine. Whether your cat loves interactive play, gentle affection, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’m confident with feeding schedules, keeping litter areas clean, and giving lots of care and attention. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your cat will be treated like family, and I’ll make sure they get the same level of care and kindness I’ve always given my own pets.

“Perfect! This was Gareth's first time meeting Max in less than perfect circumstances and yet he managed to engage Max fully and I came back to a happy contented cat. When I say cat I mean a rambunctious bouncing kitten and he had managed him beautifully as he did my old and sedentary Garfield can't recommend highly enough”

About: I’m a third-year veterinary medicine student with a strong interest in feline welfare, low-stress handling and behaviour. I have experience caring for cats in veterinary practices, shelters and home environments, including rescue cats, nervous cats, senior cats, post-operative patients and cats who need medication or a very patient approach. What sets me apart is that I’m Fear Free Certified in dog and cat handling, with additional feline-specific Fear Free certification, so I always aim to make care as calm and stress-free as possible. I understand that cats need choice, patience and routine, rather than being rushed or forced. I have volunteered at a cat shelter where I helped with feeding, enrichment, medication and behavioural rehabilitation, and I’ve also gained clinical experience through veterinary placements, including inpatient care, post-operative monitoring, consultations, ultrasound, dental procedures and discharge appointments. I’m confident noticing changes in appetite, toileting, grooming, behaviour, mobility or general wellbeing, and I’ll always keep owners updated clearly. Whether your cat is cuddly, shy, spicy, elderly, playful, or prefers to be admired from a respectful distance like tiny royalty, I’ll care for them gently and follow their normal routine closely.

About: Hello! My name is Inna. I recently moved to the UK and would love to spend more time with dogs again. I’ve had several dogs in the past — two wonderful Rottweilers, a playful Pug, and a sweet French Bulldog. They were all part of my life and my heart. At the moment, I don’t have my own dog, but I really miss the daily joy and energy they bring. That’s why I’m here on Rover — to walk, play, and care for your furry friends as if they were my own. I live in a quiet, comfortable home with a safe garden, perfect for dogs to relax and feel secure. I enjoy taking dogs on calm walks, giving them attention, cuddles, and playtime. I’m reliable, calm, and responsible — and I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands. Whether your dog needs a short walk, a friendly daytime companion, or a warm home for the night — I’ll be happy to help! 🐶💕 Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently have a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I offer flexible pet care depending on your needs: – I can visit your home to feed, check on, or spend time with your pet. – I'm happy to take dogs out for walks in parks or quiet streets. – I can also host small or calm dogs in my home if you're away on holiday.
About: Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I have hands-on experience with small to medium dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need patience and gentle care. I’m especially attentive to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, because I believe great pet care is never one-size-fits-all. I have experience administering basic medications, following special dietary needs, and recognising early signs of stress or illness. Safety is always my top priority, whether that means careful leash handling, secure environments, or close supervision during playtime. I also understand how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, so I provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication to give owners complete peace of mind. I also have two welcoming and playful resident 5 year old Shih Tzu's Teddy and Dolly who love to meet new friends. I’m retired, which means I’m home full-time and able to give your dog constant attention and companionship throughout their stay. I only board one dog at a time (unless pets are from the same household), so your dog will never be overwhelmed and will receive truly personalised care. This quiet, low-stress environment is perfect for dogs who enjoy one-on-one attention, seniors, or pups who don’t do well in busy boarding settings. Your dog will be treated like family and cared for as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and fresh air throughout the day. I’m also certified in Ofqual Level 3 Home Boarding, which means I meet high standards for safety, welfare, and professional pet care. This training allows me to provide knowledgeable, responsible care in a calm home environment, giving pet parents confidence that their dog is in experienced and capable hands.
About: Hello Rover community! I am writing this while currently on a Housesit/dogsit for another site. I have had dogs in the family for 15 years and have spent the last year looking after our 4 legged friends on and off for family and friends. Just recently, I became a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) so I am exploring things to do alongside my work to give me some balance - so far, dog sitting has been the answer! As a digital nomad (work from anywhere, anytime) as long as I get my hours done, I can work around the schedule you have established with your pupper. I am available pretty much everyday, but later part of the week and weekends are often better. I will follow your established routine. In this way, it's a seamless transition for your dog. I love a good walk in the park, local woods, or the like - and if your pupper does too, we will get on just fine. I won't hesitate to call you should that be needed, but equally, I am keen to give you a break if that's needed (or alternatively, send you lots of photos if your missing your pupper). Your companion will be in safe hands.

“I contacted Covadonga very last minute in the hope she'd be able to have my dog for a few hours while I visited Bath. The speed in which she replied was fantastic. Covadonga communicated so well with me, before and while she had my dog, it was so reassuring to know my dog was happy in her care. My dog had such a lovely time with Covadonga, I will definitely be booking with her again in the future, thank you!”

“Simone was absolutely wonderful with Leo today. She is incredibly patient, caring, and kind, and it is clear how much she genuinely loves working with dogs. Leo adores her and is always happy to see her, which gives us great confidence that he is in excellent hands. She does a fantastic job with his walks, ensuring he gets both exercise and attention while making the experience enjoyable for him. We are very grateful for her reliability, kindness, and dedication. We highly recommend Simone to anyone who wants their dog to be in the trusted hands of a genuinely kind, caring, and dependable person.”

About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.

“Our dogs know Debbie and Andrew, as we have met them a few times before. We know how much they love dogs, so we had no hesitation in booking them to walk our 2 boys. Jamie was very happy to meet Debbie and Andrew again, he really enjoyed his walk with them. We have booked further walks, as we know our boys will be well looked after.”
“Matt took excellent care of my retriever. Came over for a meet greet and my boy instantly fell in love! Fantastic communication throughout with lots of updates as well as lots of questions to get to know exactly how to care for Spencer.”

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 4 years, and I really enjoy it! I have experience with beagles (anyone who's owned one understands they're a bit unique, which makes it fun) and also with dogs that get anxious when left alone. I love helping them feel safe and loved. I'm currently enjoying my summer break as a university student, which means I have plenty of free time most days, including weekends and evenings. I have experience caring for multiple dogs, including larger breeds that require extra attention. I am DBS-checked, ensuring your dog(s) will be in safe and responsible hands. You can trust that I will give your pets the dedicated care and attention they deserve, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or administering any special care they might need.

About: I have always loved animals and I have experience taking care of dogs and cats. I am a very caring, patient and responsible person. I treat every pet with love and attention, as if they were my own. I am comfortable with feeding, walking and playing, and I always make sure they feel safe and happy. I am reliable and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. I am currently studying English, which gives me flexibility during the day. I have time to take care of dogs and cats, including walks, feeding and companionship. I am available on weekdays and weekends, and I will always make sure your pet gets attention, care and love. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walks and any special needs. I am calm, responsible and attentive, and I treat every pet with love and respect. I always prioritize their safety and well-being.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been the one in the family who takes care of them. I raised two Labradors, Maisy and Maude, a mum and daughter, and was even there when Maude was born. I’ve recently moved out and don’t live with dogs anymore, which is why I’m here. I miss being around them and want to help people who need a reliable, easygoing sitter or walker. I’m calm, patient, and happy to follow whatever routine works best for your dog. I treat every dog with the same care I’d want for my own. I work full-time, but I’m home on Mondays and Fridays, which makes those days perfect for dog sitting while I work remotely. I’m also free most evenings during the week for walks, and I have good availability on weekends for both walking and sitting. Pet care fits in naturally around my schedule, and I really enjoy having that time with dogs—it doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to. At the owner’s home, I follow their routine and make sure the dog feels comfortable and cared for. At my secure apartment, I take dogs out regularly for walks and breaks, keeping things calm and safe indoors.
About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I love looking after my mums Chihuahua Winnie (she’s a sweetheart!). I LOVE all animals, and have lots of experience cat-sitting so I’ve decided to take up dog-sitting too! I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & 2 other part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!
About: Ive aided in assistance dog training for 2 years, have a level 3 animal care diploma within that was taught canine first aid, I currently do go to uni doing veterinary bioscience and hopefully want to go onto doing veterinary medicine. I have a passion for taking care of animals and providing the best possible enrichment :) Right now at the moment since I’m back home I don’t really have much going on so it fits in perfectly with my schedule giving me something to do. Within homes I often do basic supervision such as sending text updates on what is happening and fun photos of your pets so you know they are always safe and sound :)
About: I have been taking care of pets since 8 years now. Along with my husband, I moved countries, leaving our pets ( 2 dogs and 2 cats) behind with our loving family who currently take care of them! Making use of all this built up love and longing for our fur babies till we meet them again! x I am currently on mat leave and husband works 4 days which gives us plenty of time to board according to our availability and your needs. We have a fenced garden outside but the cats will be mostly inside our house which is secure and with me at home at all times, safety isn’t a problem.
About: I have had years of experience helping family and friends out with their pets. I would always jump at the chance to look after any dogs & cats if the opportunity was given to me. Weekends, I’m free all day and night to take care of your pets, go for walks, check ins or even over night stays within your homes. I’m currently working full time, however I’m flexible to work within the evenings Monday- Friday to do evening walks or check ins or over night stays. During walks I respect the owners wishes, so I'm happy to keep them on lead if someone isn't confident about them being let off, and if I do let dogs off it's only in an open but secure park / grass area. When taking care of your loving pets, I will always take lots of pictures and videos to give owners daily updates on how they're settling in and what they might have been up to that day - Dogs they've been socialising with, walks they've had and any other updates in general.

“Pip enjoyed is stay with Aaliyah. I loved the photos and txts sent to me that kept me informed on how PIP was getting on while in Aaliyahs pet sitter care. Pip was happy and content xx xxith all the cuddles and loved is stay as always. He looked so happy.I would certainly recommend Aaliyah as a reliable, honest and trustworthy pet sitter. Highly recommended. Pip is my old boy 14 years old but young at heart.l”

“Scarlett and her partner looked after our two dogs, Teddy and Benji, while we were away on holiday, and we couldn't have been happier with the care they provided. Before our trip, we arranged a meet and greet, and Teddy and Benji felt comfortable in their home and with both of them straight away. From that moment, I knew they would be in good hands and had no worries or concerns about leaving them. Throughout our holiday, Scarlett kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which was so reassuring and lovely to receive. It was clear that Teddy and Benji were having a fantastic time and were being well cared for. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you and would happily book again in the future!”

I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. I just hope I get a better greeting off Storm after my trip. Thank you, 🐾”
