I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life from a child now in my 60s and I still have a fur baby. Medically trained although on human not our furry friends I’m semi retired, medically trained currently still working part time and have a lot of spare time. I will be available Saturday and Sundays, Monday and Wednesday between 8-8 covering Cottam and surrounding area for walks, drop in, feeds etc There has always been pets in my life whether growing up, friends or my own. Sadly my cat passed a year ago and is missed a lot, I have my Nelly a 5 year old Labrador who gets on with other dogs, she’s curious with cats I think she thinks they want to play like Misty did and she hasn’t quite got why she gets a claw or hiss when she goes near. About: I am a Bioveterinary Science student at the University of Lancashire. I have had pets my whole life (cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits) & have lots of experience with cat-sitting. I am currently balancing university (only 2 days a week) & a part-time jobs on fridays & the weekend. I tend to do one visit in the morning (usually between 8am-10am) and then in the evening (6pm-10pm). In previous pet-sits, I would only allow the cat out of the house in the morning and then it would let itself back in (using a cat flap) in the afternoon, which would lock behind it so that he was definitely there when I did my evening visit. Another cat is not allowed outside when I do my visits (due to lack of cat flap), but he doesn’t mind so much. I am very happy to adjust to any arrangements that may be needed to ensure the safety of your little pet!

“It was the first time we had ever left Roxy overnight. We were really worried about leaving her at all. However we were greatly impressed with the young couple who looked after her. They went above and beyond to make Roxy feel at home and cared for her exceptionally well, sending us regular pup dates on how she was. They have a great set up and large garden, and are close to a large country park for walking and adventures. We both are very fussy people but we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high standard of care for their dog. We have already booked with them again, as we know Roxy will be well cared for.”
