“Alexandra and Chris were absolutely fantastic looking after our dog, Harley, while we were away in Cardiff for a few days. From the moment we dropped her off, we knew she was in safe and caring hands. They kept us updated throughout our trip with regular messages and lovely photos, which gave us real peace of mind and allowed us to relax knowing Harley was happy and well looked after. It was clear she was getting plenty of attention, care, and affection. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alexandra and Chris again. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and trustworthy people to care for their dog. Thank you both for taking such great care of Harley!”

“Laura was fantastic with my golden retriever! He definitely had lots of fun and love! Lots of updates, pictures and videos throughout. Will definitely be using Laura again!”

“I highly recommend Jessica and Lewis who looked after our German Shepherd and Border Collie. We were sent updates including pictures and videos and were reassured throughout. Bryn and Milo had a lovely time, many thanks.”

“Laura and Matt took such great care of Zola during the 2 days she stayed with them. A few days before the boarding, we scheduled a meet and greet so they could get to know Zola’s daily routine and habits, and so Zola could become familiar with her surroundings. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Laura and Matt again. You can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and treat them with so much love, care, and attention. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our girl 😊”

“Harry and his partner looked after Lenny for nearly two weeks, and I couldn't have asked for better carers. They kept me updated throughout his stay with regular messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious from the updates that they genuinely care about animal welfare and treat every dog as if it were their own. Their home is spacious and welcoming, and it's surrounded by plenty of outdoor space for walks, which Lenny clearly enjoyed. From the photos, it was easy to see he was having a great time exploring. When I collected Lenny, he looked happy, relaxed, and in excellent health, which says everything about the level of care he received :-) I wouldn't hesitate to leave Lenny with Harry again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring dog sitters.”

“My Storm went for a sleep over as an extended meet and greet to see if Tracy and her were a match.. I could tell instantly that Storm was comfortable. I got photos and updates.. and when Storm was dropped off she was happy.. and as soon as Tracy's back was turned Storm jumped back into her car.. although I wasnt impressed that Storm was happy to go back off with Tracy it gave me comfort that she had clearly given her the care and love that she receives at home... have already rebooked for a longer stay.. I just hope I get a better greeting off Storm after my trip. Thank you, 🐾”

About: I have been around animals all my life, having had dogs and cats, as well as hamsters. I look after my sister's dog when I can, she is a yellow Labrador. This also includes house-sitting at their house in London. I also sometimes look after my aunt and uncle's dogs (Labradors and a Sheep Dog) at their house in the Lake District. I have been a member of Borrow my Doggy in the past to help look after dogs or take them for walks. I use Trusted House Sitters for when I want to go further away from home and have stayed at homes with multiple animals including dogs, cats and sheep. I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due to accommodating limitations, but I plan on getting them when I am able to. Some of the pets I have looked after recently: - Bozo: he was a gentle giant and I miss him very much, I only knew him as an older dog but he was always up for a walk and would communicate when he'd had enough. - Winnie: an energetic young lab, loves walks and playing fetch. I've looked after her both in the Cotswolds and in London. - Juniper: a loving black lab, she's so affectionate and is always climbing on my lap. Not a huge fan of the rain which doesn't help when she lives in the Lake District! But she's always the first in the sea when at the beach. - Polly: an older girl who is more of a cat to be honest, she loves spreading out in the sun or in front of the fireplace. She's not as active as she used to be so prefers being left at home for longer walks, but will have a good run around the garden. - Willow: a French Bulldog. I spent three weeks looking after her while her owners were abroad. She’s the sweetest pup and was crazy for a tennis ball. We went on many adventures and walks around the countryside. I am a mature student completing my research degree and have plenty of time to fit pets into my routine. I’m always up early and I have my own car so am able to travel, and I am happy to take dogs in my car too. I am unable to take pets in my accommodation so am not able to host. However for owner’s homes I am always respectful of property, I clean up after myself and bring minimal belongings. I prefer clear instructions/guidance on what each pet needs and will always follow these.

“Attentive, pro-active and very communicative. Atlanta put us perfectly at ease taking good care of Alistair and asked all the right questions about his care. We will book again.”

“Amy has been wonderful. Communication was very easy, she came to the house to meet Smokey before we made a decision and they got on very well. We got a daily update and on arrival Smokey was very happy and calm. Would definitely recommend and use again! Thank you, Amy 🥰”

“Becca was absolutely amazing! She kept us up to date with regular photos & messages about how our little furry friend was doing. She was so lovely & friendly & we are so glad we found her to look after our Rocky! We will definitely be using her next time we go away! Thank you so much Becca!!”

“Caitlin looked after our cat lacey for 7 day's while we was on holiday she did an amazing job lacey was fed cleaned up and played with she took lots of photos and videos lacey looked very happy 😊”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been the one in the family who takes care of them. I raised two Labradors, Maisy and Maude, a mum and daughter, and was even there when Maude was born. I’ve recently moved out and don’t live with dogs anymore, which is why I’m here. I miss being around them and want to help people who need a reliable, easygoing sitter or walker. I’m calm, patient, and happy to follow whatever routine works best for your dog. I treat every dog with the same care I’d want for my own. I work full-time, but I’m home on Mondays and Fridays, which makes those days perfect for dog sitting while I work remotely. I’m also free most evenings during the week for walks, and I have good availability on weekends for both walking and sitting. Pet care fits in naturally around my schedule, and I really enjoy having that time with dogs—it doesn’t feel like a chore, it’s something I genuinely look forward to. At the owner’s home, I follow their routine and make sure the dog feels comfortable and cared for. At my secure apartment, I take dogs out regularly for walks and breaks, keeping things calm and safe indoors.

About: As a genuine and friendly cat lover with 14 years of hands-on experience, I offer a level of care that comes from a deep, lifelong bond with my own companions, guiding them through every stage of life from playful kittenhood to their gentle senior years. This extensive experience has equipped me with the specialised skills needed to provide compassionate care for cats of all ages, including the extra patience required for kittens and the attentive, specialised monitoring often needed for senior pets. My home has become a trusted sanctuary for local neighbourhood cats who visit daily, proving my natural ability to earn the trust of even the most hesitant feline friends. Whether your cat needs gentle play, consistent routine, or thoughtful senior care, I treat every guest with the same love and devotion I have poured into my own cats for over a decade.

About: I provide calm, patient, and attentive care, always respecting each cat’s personality and routine. Whether your cat loves interactive play, gentle affection, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’m confident with feeding schedules, keeping litter areas clean, and giving lots of care and attention. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your cat will be treated like family, and I’ll make sure they get the same level of care and kindness I’ve always given my own pets.

About: Hi! My name is Tegan, I am 21 years old and major cat lover (as well as all animals, big & small)! I have owned cats since I was 5 years old, an older kitty which I miss very much and I have helped raise 3 kittens with my mum in my old home (my oldest is currently 10 and my two sibling babies are almost 2!). Me and my partner have recently adopted a little tabby girl called Twiggles, who is now an adventure cat! I have experience in looking after cats, dogs, rodents, horses and birds! I used to walk dogs for my neighbours a few years ago which I loved so much! Although I love fussing over your fur (or feathered) babies, I respect their boundaries if shy. <3

“Excellent service! We’ve used him twice now and have been happy each time. Reliable, professional, and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely be using his services again and would highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was young. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to feed their pets, give them fresh water, play with them, and take dogs for walks. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and personalities whether it’s a shy cat, a playful kitten, a big dog, or a small one. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, loved, and happy while their owners are away.

About: I offer calm, patient cat care built around each cat’s normal routine and personality. I understand that many cats are happiest when they’re given time, space and the freedom to approach on their own terms rather than being overwhelmed with attention. I’m comfortable caring for confident, shy and more independent cats, as well as older cats who may need a quieter pace and closer monitoring. I can follow established routines for feeding, fresh water, litter trays, play, grooming and medication where clear instructions are provided. I work from home, so for cats staying with me I’m around for most of the day and night. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I focus on keeping things familiar and consistent while their owner is away. My approach includes: - Feeding and dietary routines - Litter tray cleaning and monitoring - Fresh water and general welfare checks - Play and enrichment where the cat wants it - Plenty of quiet time for nervous or shy cats - Senior cat care - Medication where instructions are straightforward - Regular photo and message updates - Multi-cat households - Following each cat’s usual routine as closely as possible The aim is simple: reliable care, a calm environment and as little disruption to your cat’s routine as possible.

“Holly is an absolute natural with animals ..our Arthur took to her immediately 😂 She has been so caring and very playful with Arthur, he has learnt new tricks! Also his hair appears more shiny on our return..he's been brushed a lot which is great...he loves that! All in all we would 100 percent recommend Holly and hope she returns time again 👏. ”

“Teddy had a great time with Matthew and his partner during his daycare session - they were communicative, flexible around our drop off/ pick up needs, and kept us up to date with how Teddy was getting on. Teddy loved all the fuss he got, and the big secure garden to cool off in during the warm weather!”

About: I offer calm, attentive care with a strong focus on keeping pets comfortable and following their normal routine as closely as possible. I work from home, so I’m around for most of the day and night. This means pets get plenty of company, regular toilet breaks, close supervision and more individual attention than they might receive in a busier environment. I also keep numbers low and prefer caring for one household at a time. I have experience caring for senior dogs, including pets with reduced mobility, slower walking needs and more structured routines. I’m happy to adapt walks, feeding, rest periods and general care around older pets rather than expecting every dog to keep the same pace. I’m also comfortable with puppies and younger dogs, including frequent toilet breaks, feeding schedules, play, basic routine reinforcement and the extra supervision that comes with younger pets. I don’t claim to be a professional dog trainer, but I’m happy to consistently follow the owner’s existing commands and training routine. I can also help with: - Medication where clear instructions are provided - Senior and lower-mobility pets - Puppies and young dogs - Nervous or unsettled pets that benefit from a quieter environment - Feeding and dietary routines - Regular photo and message updates - Cat care and multi-pet households - House sitting and maintaining the pet’s usual home routine My approach is simple: low numbers, plenty of company and care tailored to the individual pet rather than a one-size-fits-all routine. I work from home and am around for most of the day and night, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. This allows me to provide regular feeding, toilet breaks, walks, play, companionship and supervision without pets being left alone for long periods. I keep bookings deliberately manageable so I can give each pet proper attention rather than taking on too many at once. I’m also happy to follow established routines for feeding, medication, walks, sleep and rest times. I keep the environment calm, clean and secure, with care adapted to the individual pet. I prefer low numbers and, where possible, pets from one household at a time so they receive more individual attention. Before a first booking I like to understand the pet’s normal routine, temperament, feeding, medical needs, behaviour around other animals and anything that may cause stress. I follow owner instructions closely and provide regular updates so you know how your pet is settling. In an owner’s home, I respect the property and aim to keep everything as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible.

“I have been using another sitter through this app for Theo however she couldn’t accommodate one of the days which led me to this couple and there is a stark difference to say the least. Very warm and welcoming couple, and looks like Theo had a great time as he slept the whole journey back home. Thank you once again”

“Indie stayed with Elsa for the day whilst I attended an appointment. I was initially nervous due to Indie being so young but I needn’t have worried as Indie had the best day and was so well cared for by Elsa… lots of playing, sleeping and a walk. Elsa was friendly, quick to communicate and sent lots of photos & videos. Thank you Elsa, Indie would love to stay with you again in the future!”

“Harry and his family were very attentive and made our little angel feel at home instantly. Ease of drop off and collection. It is clear that Harry loves dogs, they love him, as we came back to a very happy 4 paws. Would definitely recommend!”

“Thank you Matthew and Georgia! You absolutely saved us yesterday!! We had someone booked who then didn’t answered the door, I messaged Matthew and within minutes he answered, and agreed to care for Otis. They have cared for Otis before and he again, had the best time. Thank you both - would definitely have you look after our little boy again.”

About: I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.

“It took a lot for me to trust a stranger with my dog, but after a meet and greet I was happy to trust Marie and after just one week I’ve noticed a difference in my dog he’s a lot calmer and happier. Marie takes her time with my dog and treats him as if he was her own.”

At the owner’s home, I follow their routine and make sure the dog feels comfortable and cared for. At my secure apartment, I take dogs out regularly for walks and breaks, keeping things calm and safe indoors.

About: Hiya! I’m Holly and I have just finalised my degree in Bioveterinary Science (First-Class woooo!). I have had all kinds of pets my whole life, including cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and rabbits. I LOVE all kinds of animals, big or small! On Rover, I’ve mainly done lots of cat-sitting and the occasional dog-sitting. I love meeting new pets and would be incredibly happy looking after your little ones. I have my own tuxedo cat called Merlin, and I take him on walks! I know I sound like a nutter but he loves it I swear 🤣 Since I have just finished university, I have a lot of time on my hands! I’m currently a self-employed nail tech working my own hours. So I tend to do one visit in the morning, and one in the late afternoon (if that’s what you would want!) I love to spend some time with the pet so they feel comfortable and a little less sad when you’re away! This can be just giving them a bit of love, company or playing with them. If they have any special requirements/likes or dislikes, I am very happy to adjust.

About: Hi, I'm Justin and I am an established and experienced dog walker based in the Fulwood area of Preston. I cover the whole of the Preston area and it's suberbs. I have many varied places where I take my pups and they (and me!) have the best time! I tailor my approach to whatever you require, can keep on lead, take to certain places... Whatever you want then I can accommodate! My pack has pups of all different shapes, sizes and personalities! I've been established for a few years and now I am taking on new customers and would love for your pup to join me and have some fun and adventures! I offer 1 on 1 walks or sometimes 2 on 1 walks, this means that your dog gets my full attention and plenty of interaction. I offer meet and greets to establish my relationship with your dog and your dogs relationship to me and do these until we are fully comfortable with each other and ready to go out on adventures alone. I send regular photographs and video updates. Prior to dog walking I was a police officer for over 20 years before retiring, I am trustworthy, punctual, reliable, flexible and comfortable around all dogs and guarantee that your dog will be in good hands and we will have the best time together! You will have complete peace of mind knowing that your dog is with me having a ball and safe and being loved and cared for. My testimonials and photographs of my crew are attached so please check them out and if you have any questions then please don't hesitate to get in touch. Dog care is my passion and I do this full time and see my job as a privilege caring for dogs of all characters and I am lucky to know a number of walks and beautiful spots around local areas. I don't really see this as a job, it's so much fun! I have a number of longstanding customers who are delighted with my service. I tailor my individual approach to each customer as no 2 customers nor no 2 dogs are the same.
About: I have had pets all my life and have always taken them on adventures, I am extremely confident in handling dogs of all natures and like to show positive reinforcement of good behaviours through care and attention. In my spare time I run long distances so taking dogs outside on long walks is not an issue and I would love to be able to do this for dogs of all ages and requirements. I have a lot of energy so dogs will be kept entertained and well looked after. Happy to provide any care as required. I’m currently a Shift Operations Manager in manufacturing but work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern so have a lot of free time in which I like to use taking my dog out for walks, running, exercising and generally being outdoors! My own dog is hand stripped at home by my partner so is well groomed and very well cared for. I have a gated and fenced garden in which the dog can roam. Any dogs in my home are free to enter all rooms. We do have an extremely friendly wire hair fox terrier who loves having friends round to play with. In others homes all due care and attention will be taken to provide the care and love any dog needs. Owners will be kept informed of the dogs wellbeing and behaviour along with any activities.
About: I have 6 years of experience working with animals in veterinary clinics and rescue centers in Iran, and I also completed 2 weeks of work experience in a London vet. I love taking care of all kinds of pets and making sure they feel happy and safe. I can fit pet care into my daily routine and dedicate time for walks, feeding, play, and cuddles. I make sure pets get consistent attention, exercise, and love. I make sure every pet stays safe and comfortable in your home. I follow all instructions carefully and provide a clean, secure, and loving environment.

About: I've been caring for dogs for nearly 4 years, and I really enjoy it! I have experience with beagles (anyone who's owned one understands they're a bit unique, which makes it fun) and also with dogs that get anxious when left alone. I love helping them feel safe and loved. I'm currently enjoying my summer break as a university student, which means I have plenty of free time most days, including weekends and evenings. I have experience caring for multiple dogs, including larger breeds that require extra attention. I am DBS-checked, ensuring your dog(s) will be in safe and responsible hands. You can trust that I will give your pets the dedicated care and attention they deserve, whether it's daily walks, playtime, or administering any special care they might need.
About: I have had a strong interest in all animals since being young. I regularly cared for family & neighbours pets from being a child. I now own four rabbits, a hamster, a turtle, fish and a 7 month old puppy named Ralph! Happy to deal with any training and care needs as I regularly train my own puppy and administer medication for my rabbits. My partner Lewis and I have opposite shift work so there is always somebody available. Caring for animals is my passion and I will enjoy the company. We can work around your needs to make it work for you. Happy owner, happy pet! I have a fenced garden and a sociable and friendly dog, so your dog always has a play mate. I have a spare bedroom that includes a crate so we can create a safe space for your dog if needed. I have a field close by and if your dog is not great with recall we have long leads available so they can get the exercise they need. With guidance from you, I would be happy to help with training and socialising your dog to keep them in a routine as much as possible.
“If you are considering booking Ivett do not hesitate! 100% recommend. Ivett really understands dogs and is a natural. I’m really happy we found Ivett and our dog loves her too!”

About: Walking, running, swimming and play is what we are all about. We are avaliable for long or short walks, twice a day come rain or shine. With or without Cookie, our Spaniel. We will provide photos of your precious, furry friend during and after the walks for peace of mind. We completed a holistic canine care course giving us essential knowledge on both the physical and psychological needs of dogs. We both work from home which allows us to look after dogs full time, let them out as much as they need to, and to make sure all their needs are met. We walk the dogs before starting our day, and again as soon as we finished work. At the weekends, when possible, we go on more adventurous walks. We love long, muddy walks with lots of ball throwing, swimming, hunting and playing, but also nice and relaxed woodland strolls with a bit of a stream. With access to green space on our doorstep, we are spoilt for adventures to go on, and for more daring adventurers, weekend trips to Wales and The Lakes are on the cards for hikes, lake swimming and soaking up the beautiful English countryside. All finished off with a dog massage and aromatherapy treatment to calm and relax your special, furry companion. Our dogs have free rein of the house and back garden, which is closed in. Two smoke alarms are fitted, one on each floor. The front garden is open so they can have access to it but only supervised and on a long training lead. We don't get much passing traffic, as we are located on a cul-de-sac, but we can't be too careful. If your dog needs some alone time, the internal doors will allow us to divide the house in 4 living areas where they will still have access to all comfort (beds, toys, water, food, etc.) and we will spend as much positive time with them as possible with until they are comfortable. Dogs are allowed on all three sofas, on the two bean bags, in the spare room double bed, and we have 2 medium sized dog beds and 3 dog mats. We would recommend bringing your dog’s bed for their own comfort but either way, slightly territorial dogs will be spoilt for choice of a spot to claim their own for the duration of their stay. Our Cookie is a good host and respects other dogs boundaries.

“Sevket was amazing with Luisa as we went on holiday. As soon as he collected her we knew she would be in good hands. Sevket kept us updated daily with pictures and videos of Luisa's numerous walks and feeding times etc. I would highly recommend Sevket to anybody and hopefully we will use him again in the future 😊 A genuinely nice guy and very professional, he made Luisa feel safe and welcomed from the start and now she misses him 😀”

“Daniel and his partner were amazing. They were very friendly and welcoming. They were very thorough in getting to know my dog, took notes even. My dog really enjoyed being there with them. More importantly I was very confident and happy to leave him under their care. Highly recommend them. Would definitely use them again.”

“Violet had a great time with Scarlet and Elliot. We dropped the stay on them at last minute and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Thanks again guys see you next week, the end of the month and in October 👍😎🫶 🐾”

“Great hosts! We had a meet and greet that went really well, Rudy has a new best friend in their puppy Mac and loved all the attention she got! We got lots of updates and would not hesitate to leave Rudy with them again.”

“Aaliyah and Aaron looked after our dog for the weekend. We have never left him with anybody before. We were very nervous about leaving him, as he is like a baby to us, but we need not have been worried as they sent updates and photo's which was very reassuring, they looked after him really well. He settled in well and seemed very happy. I would highly recommend, I have already booked again for another holiday.”

“Hollie was very welcoming and assuring. The dogs seemed happy right from our first meeting. Hollie sent me regular updates and photos of their stay and walks. She was very caring and attentive with my dogs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hollie and I'm booking with her again.”

“It was the first time we had ever left Roxy overnight. We were really worried about leaving her at all. However we were greatly impressed with the young couple who looked after her. They went above and beyond to make Roxy feel at home and cared for her exceptionally well, sending us regular pup dates on how she was. They have a great set up and large garden, and are close to a large country park for walking and adventures. We both are very fussy people but we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high standard of care for their dog. We have already booked with them again, as we know Roxy will be well cared for.”

“Isabelle was amazing! She looked after my puppy for 4 days at very short notice. She made sure she did all the right things to ensure the best care for him & he had a great few days. They took him on long walks & comforted him when he was a little nervous the first day. She sent many updates throughout & great communication. Her dog Beemer & her cats are also very friendly with other dogs. Would 100% recommend her to dog sit!”

“Very very happy. Mark and Natalie are simply amazing with Mya. I can tell that she loves them. Mya stayed with them for just over a week and she came home happy and relaxed. We received updates throughout and we could tell that she was spoiled. I definitely recommend all their services!”

“Mark did a great job looking after my 2 dogs this weekend. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos he sent, which kept my mind at ease. My only piece of feedback is regarding the drop-off; Mark was headed out the door as I arrived, which felt a bit rushed and left me a little uneasy about them being left alone immediately. However, the dogs seemed happy and well-cared for upon my return.”

“Hattie has just enjoyed her second stay with Matt where she made herself very much at home and was so well cared for. Matt is certainly a 5 Star sitter who I would not hesitate to recommend. I’ll definitely be rebooking. Thanks Matt and partner”
