With years of experience working with dogs, I’ve developed a strong, natural understanding of their behaviour, needs, and personalities, along with a wide range of practical skills. From a young age, I took the initiative to volunteer at multiple doggy daycares, where I cared for a diverse mix of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I’ve had the privilege of working with playful puppies who thrive on stimulation, structure, and training, as well as senior dogs who require a gentler pace, extra patience, and comfort. As a devoted dog owner myself, I understand the pressure and concern that comes with finding the right person to look after your dog. When your pup is in my care, they’ll be welcomed into both my home and heart—receiving the love, attention, and tail wags they truly deserve!🐾☺️

I would highly recommend Lucy as a pet caregiver, as a dog owner herself she shares a passion for animals and an overall love for them. She has cared for both of my dogs Ronnie & Elanor on numerous occasions when we have been away, holiday, wedding etc, they have an amazing bond with her and we never have any issues they are always pleased and excited to see her. She does everything and more for them, feeding, walking, days out even as far as bathing when Ronnie got a little mucky! I highly recommend Lucy :)

Upon booking, I’ll ask for full details regarding your dog’s usual routine—whether it’s feeding times, toilet breaks, preferred walking routes, or bedtime habits. I’ll follow these closely to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. Unlike many other sitters who have full-time jobs or other commitments, I’m able to give your dog my full, undivided attention, ensuring they are never left unattended.

My home is located in Preston town centre, offering easy access to a wide variety of walking routes, parks, and scenic spots for your dog to explore🌈. I live in a ground floor apartment within a secure complex, which features a gated entrance requiring a pin code for access, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and an additional pin-protected entry to the apartment block itself. This layered security ensures your pup is safe and well protected at all times! Inside, my home is a clean, smoke-free, and comfortable environment where your pets are more than welcome to relax on the sofa for plenty of snuggles and cuddles, or indulge in some fun with their favourite toys.☺️🐾

A typical day
I love taking the dogs on scenic walks with beautiful views, where they can explore and enjoy new smells. At home, I have a great collection of squeaky toys, tug ropes, balls, and puzzle games to keep them entertained. It’s always a joy to watch their personalities shine through during play 🙈 — it’s the perfect way to keep them happy and fulfilled throughout their stay.
