“Angus walked Cracker everyday while I was in hospital. He took him on the beach where he had a great run around every day.”

2. Catherine L.

“Thanks Cath, those photos are fab, he definitely looks happy and a sniff around yours at the end is a great warm up for next Thursday!”

3. Michael T.

“This is the first time we have used a dog service for our dogs and wish we would have found Michael and Geoff sooner! The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. We are also going to use them for boarding too in the future as they have a secure garden with no other dogs which is perfect! Communication is great and they are flexible and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone!”

4. Martin H.
“Martin is a true dog lover & is very responsible having a dog 4 14 yrs loves looking after dogs &walking them short or long”

5. Gemma G.
About: Hi all! I'm Gemma and I'm a crazy animal lady. I've grown up with a variety of pets, from your usual childhood hamster, birds of different species, fish, rabbits, cats and dogs. When I was a child, we had in our house at one point, 2 love birds, 2 parakeets, tropical fish, a cat and a dog, who all lived full healthy lives! It was chaotic but fun. Into my adult life, I adopted my cat from 6 weeks old. She was abandoned in the street, I took her on and now she's turning 13 in November. We recently adopted Ernie, our English bulldog who is 7 months old. We love a mad house full of love, that's how it's always been 🥰 I'm not a professional carer for animals, but I do have a lot of time and patience for animals. They're so special to me and I truly believe we do not deserve these babies! So if placed in my care, I'll make sure they're looked after just exactly how they need to be. I currently work part time, so I'm able to give a lot of time to your fur babies and my own! My little girl loves animals to, so she will really enjoy helping me take care of them. My back yard is fenced off completely, so they will be unable to escape. We have separate sleeping areas available. Our house is clutter free to prevent choking hazards.

10. Brian A.
“As a groomer that grooms dogs I let Brian at Be Yappy look after my little fur balls when I go away. He has also had them for daycare which gives me peace of mind when having to work. They stay in the house and have access to what I describe as the small dog field they have as a garden at the property and when they first stayed overnight he actually slept downstairs as they were a bit nervous, but now they run in and claim their favourite bed 😂.”

11. Jonathan L.

15. EllaDiane Hazel S.
“Ella has looked after my dog, Rafa since he was a pup (he is now 7yrs) She is wonderful with him and he loves going to stay with her. I have no qualms about recommending Ella nor leaving Rafa with her. She is loving and professional at all times, understanding the needs and quirks of my pooch! Whenever Ella arrives to collect him, he leaps immediately into the car (and onto her knee)! I would give Ella an A☆”

About: Formerly working at Hollyacres dog daycare, I have learnt to cater my care to dogs from little Jack Russell’s… all the way up to big Bernese Mountain dogs. In addition, I have met a number of different personalities including those of hyper, old, young, hesitant and anxious dogs; therefore I have provided care for a wide variety of pooches and am fully aware that to build a bond with a dog it’s important to understand that no dog is the same. Pet care will be my main priority during my gap year that I am currently taking, I adore animals and after my gap year I want to study veterinary sciences but for now I want to focus on spending time with animals and further build upon my knowledge of their behaviours. I will always listen to the owners instructions and priorities. I am well aware that handing over the bond a dog owner has with their dog is a tough thing to do and I want to ensure that I manage to provide a sense of normality within the animal care I give to ease any uncertainty within the dog and build trust within myself and the dog owner.

About: I have never been in a home that has not had a dog, it would not be much of a home otherwise! Growing up around dogs has allowed me to build bonds with canine companions effortlessly. The dogs we have owned have been brought into the family as pups, so I have had a wealth of experience training and handling dogs when they are at their most adorable and mischievous stage. I have also seen the other end of the scale, with some of our family pets living to near 20, I understand how important the environment is to a senior ‘pup’. I am lucky enough to have a fully remote employment. As such, I am accessible and hands on with any animal I have in my care. Walks are a big part of my daily exercise, and they are always much more enjoyable with a lead in hand and four legs next to you! When sitting in the owners home it is key to remember that the fur baby being cared for is in their safe space. Understanding habits, behaviours and comfort when in their environment is the difference between a happy experience and an uncomfortable one. I am currently taking multiple courses in canine care, with some already completed; namely ‘dog walking and sitting’ and ‘first aid’. This is not just a hobby for me. I take this very seriously as I am working towards being an accredited dog trainer and canine care professional. But to be clear, being serious doesn’t mean you can’t have fun, and let’s exactly what your four legged family member will have if they are in my company.
