About: Hi I'm Megan- from Lancaster a long life animal lover with a passion for animals I have always loved animals from an early age growing up we always had pets from chickens to dogs and cats. About: I'm experienced in caring for both cats and dogs, and especially passionate about giving excellent care to older and/or medically complex pets. I love the wide variety in cat behaviour, whether they are happiest just existing in the same room, or sitting on my lap, I am always happy to take care of them. While I love all types of dogs, I'm best suited to dogs with less intensive exercise needs, such as smaller breeds or elder dogs. I also have experience taking care of reactive dogs. For drop-ins and dog walks, I may be able to offer a discounted rate in the LA1 3 and LA1 4 areas. If pricing is a concern for you, for example due to low income, or having a large multi-pet household, please get in touch as I may be able to offer a discounted rate. My first proper petsitting experience was taking care of my neighbour's cat when they went on holiday. Even once her owners were back from holiday, we got into a routine where she would wait on the front doorstep every day for me to give her chin scritches. My interest in taking care of medically complex pets comes from personal experience, as my family dog suffered a spinal cord injury a few years ago. Luckily, after excellent vet care, he has an excellent quality of life and is very happy, just with shorter walks than before and regular pain-management medication. I'm very happy to take care of pets that need a little extra attention and support, whether that is with medication, toileting, pain management, reactivity, anxiety, and anything else your pet needs support with. If you're going to be away overnight or for multiple days, I recommend house sitting, as this guarantees your pet will receive love and care whenever they need it. I'll probably ask a lot of questions just to make sure their is minimal disruption to your pets regular lifestyle, and will of course send plenty of updates and photos while taking care of them. I primarily work as a petsitter, alongside occasional knit and crochet commissions. This gives me full flexibility to work within your pets' usual routine, and dedicate as much time as they need to be happy, healthy and comfortable. I will care for your pets as you do! I trust that you know what is best for your pet, and will always to my best to minimise any disruption to their usual routine and lifestyle. I understand that some pets can find it stressful to be taken care of by a new person, so am always happy to do home visits ahead of your trip to make sure your pet knows and likes me - or at least, accepts my presence. I am also insured as a petsitter and dog walker, should any incidents occur. For safety reasons, I prefer to provide my own lead for walks - I will bring this along to a meet and greet so that we can check it's comfortable for your dog. If your dog (or cat!) has a usual walk route, I always appreciate it you can map it out for me.

About: I grew up with two family dogs who lived to 10 and 12 years old, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I helped with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning, and giving dogs attention and companionship. I’m generally more available during the daytime and enjoy spending time caring for pets, including walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping them company. I’m also happy to follow each owner’s preferred routine and care instructions. At the moment, I’m unable to host pets in my home due to rental restrictions, but I’m happy to care for pets in the owner’s home and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs growing up and I’m excited to meet your best friends! I regularly take care of my family and friends’ animals as I cannot have pets in my current flat and I adore it! I even have two cats of my own ( that live away from me :( )! I am passionate about animals and animal care and conservation and am even aspiring to work with them professionally some day! I currently work shifts for a local retailer so my work hours do vary greatly, however, I have a good ability to choose when and where to work so can work my hours around your pets needs. Outside of work, I have no obligations that would prevent routines and therefore could fit well into your needed pet care plan. Due to my flat not having any available outdoor areas, I choose to provide only home-visit and neighbourhood services. As much as I will not be keeping pets at my home, I live a two minute walk away from the promenade, giving great walking stretches for any dogs, keeping them entertained and happy in a great environment. For in-house visits I am more than happy to do whatever is requested as I understand you know your pet better than anyone else, and I want to offer them and you, the best care possible.

About: I have five years of hands-on experience caring for my family dog, a 7-year-old Pomeranian–Shiba Inu mix weighing around 6 kg. He is energetic and friendly with other dogs, so I am comfortable supervising walks, playtime and social interaction. Since moving to the UK, I have really missed spending time with my dog in Hong Kong. This encouraged me to join this platform so I can continue caring for dogs and provide them with safe, attentive and affectionate companionship. I usually walk him for around 30 minutes in the morning or afternoon and another 90 minutes in the evening. I manage his feeding routine, clean his paws after every walk, bathe and brush him regularly, and brush his teeth weekly. I have also given him deworming treatment and medication for ear irritation. After his neutering surgery, I cared for him during his recovery and monitored his energy levels and behaviour closely. During walks, I remain calm, maintain a steady pace and keep the lead controlled rather than encouraging pulling or running. I am reliable, patient and happy to follow each owner’s feeding, walking and care instructions carefully. I can provide regular photo and message updates. I currently offer dog walking and care at the owner’s home. In an emergency, I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary assistance when necessary. I am available every day from July to September, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime and attentive care. From late September, my availability will depend on my university timetable, but I will regularly update my schedule and communicate clearly with owners before accepting bookings. As my accommodation does not allow pets, I only provide dog walking and drop-in care at the owner’s home. I will follow all feeding, walking, medication and household instructions carefully, keep doors secure and make sure your dog is comfortable and safe. I can also send regular photo and message updates, and I will contact the owner immediately if I notice anything unusual.

I have a crated van, insurance and I’m also Canine First Aid Trained. I also have a pet jet for washing down your muddy pups 🐾 I have been open since April 2025. I walk in small groups of maximum 4 dogs paired carefully. It’s £15 for a 1 hour group walk, additional dogs from the same household are an extra £5. Pet visits are £10. I have many years of experience in the industry with all types of animals including horses, rabbits, dogs and cats. About: I grew up with 2 wonderful dogs, who I still miss to this day (they never really leave you, do they?). I am extremely dog-centric; I say hello to all the dogs, I'm the first people friends call when they need a dog-sitter. I am an ace walker - your dog will get ALL the walks (if they need them!). I'm happy to care for all ages, breeds and sizes of hounds - not just happy, but honoured to! I'm an academic that has just graduated with a PhD from Lancaster Uni. I do teaching here and there throughout the week, and in between I'm writing academic journal articles for publication. This means that I am free most of the week, and when not teaching at the uni I can work wherever I need to be! I can stick to whatever guidelines or boundaries are set and I love long walks (or short walks if they only have little legs). I can't wait to meet your familiars!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs all my life which has made me become very fin of all animals and created a passion for animals and I’d love if I could always be around animals and take care of the and give the the love the deserve. Currently I have two big dogs who I love and adore and I can’t wait to meet many other different kinds of dogs and cats. I’m currently studying at Lancaster University, however my schedule is not very busy at the moment so I would love to use my spare time to help others and care for their animals. I’m very experienced with dogs of all breeds and could manage any issues I may or may not encounter. I love playing with dogs so I would be very content looking after playful dogs who need a lot of attention. I also enjoy going on walks by myself but having a dog there would make it even better! I’m confident that I can manage and be attentive to any breed and any personality a dog may have. I’m good at reading animals body language to understand if they’re nervous, uncomfortable or unsure and would do my best to take them out the situation that was maybe causing them to feel such a way.

About: I’ve taken care of my two hungarian vislas from a young age, alongside my rag doll-pursian cat which has allowed me to gain a wide range of skills in feeding, walking and bathing animals! (i also have chickens and fish!) Many of my friends and family own animals, where i have had to look after animals with all different sizes and personalities. This has allowed meant i have a boarder range of knowledge when taking care of animals. I'm currently living at Lancaster University, but often travel home where I come back to my two dogs and cat. My work week has given me lots of free-time which means I will have more than enough time to care for your pets! When living at home, I have a fenced garden which gives my dogs the ability to have lots of free space to roam around in. I am dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable space for any pet, which includes regular bathroom breaks and socialisation.

About: Since I was little I have always lived with animals. Currently my family and I have 2 cats and 1 dog. I walk my dog most days and I helped to train him as a pup. I love my cats so much and spend a lot of my time playing with and caring for them. I really miss being around my animals when I’m away at University, so would be so happy to meet and care for your pet :) I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. I am currently on a break from placement, writing up an extended project at home, so my schedule is very flexible. With a few days notice I am more or less available whenever is needed. When looking after dogs I would ensure I keep them on a lead at all times - unless I had full trust in my relationship with them and you had confirmed they could be let off. If a cat was an indoor cat I would never let it near an outside door or leave windows open. I am living in student accommodation at the moment so would not be able to have pets in my own home.

About: I have been brought up around dogs since I was a young child, as my family first had a springer spaniel. I've taken care of lots of different types of dogs throughout my life. I helped to train our working cocker spaniel since she was a puppy. Who I also cared for and walked often. I have always really enjoyed spending time with dogs and looking after them. I have full availability through the week at the moment, so have lots of time free to look after your pets! 🐾 However, I am not available for boarding at the weekends. I live in a fairly large flat with a balcony but this is enclosed, so there are no safety issues with it. I live on the canal, and near a nature reserve, so it is perfect for dog walking! 🐕 I walk a lot anyway, so it would be perfect to have the company of a dog on my walks!
