“Well, what can i say. Sarah was incredible, contacted her last minute, and she came to meet my dogs. They clearly loved her straight away. I could see when she logged in my house and out, it was so nice to get sent pictures and updates. I wouldnt use a kennel again, thank you so much for looking after my doggies. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting their dogs staying at home in their own environment. Thanks again sarah x”

“Evie is everything you would want in a dogsitter. Reliable, punctual and easy to communicate with. We have 3 dogs with very different personalities and she has worked out how to get on with each of them! Would highly recommend.”

“Beatrice was fantastic and seemed to earn the trust of a nervous cat! She was extra helpful with being able to do an extra when my plans changed at the last minute. Will be booking again in the future!”

“Cannot fault Libby, super quick at replying, accommodated longer sits and also was fine to make last minute changes I had. My cat can be quite anxious around people she doesn’t know but she seems to be so comfortable with Libby 🤗”

“Paige did an excellent job taking care of our quite shy cat. She kept us updated with photos and videos while we were away, which really put our minds at ease. We felt completely reassured knowing our pet was in such good hands. I would definitely hire Paige again in the future :)”

About: I can offer care for all animals at your house. I have had 3 dogs in the past at home to look after alongside a cat. The age and size of dog doesn't bother me as long as if I am to walk them they won't pull me over as I am small. I am 26 and love animals, but working at the station means owning one is difficult. I can groom, walk, play and cuddle. I have a car so can take the dogs to parks or other places further out the way for walks as well as being able to provide my own transport. I can give regular updates on the animals during the day if wished. I work a shift pattern so can help with different days, different times to suit as needed. I walk plenty and own a house with a garden so happy to have your dog for as long as needed across the day I have a 6ft walled garden and plenty of knowledge of where to walk dogs in the local area to suit whatever needs are required
About: I have loved and taken care of two little maltese doggies and a cat for over 10 years. Because of their aging I am more than capable in dealing with medicine/medicinal routines with dogs. I am a lonely unemployed student who would love to take care of your pet and will most likely be available at any time! I am available for boarding on weekends every 2 weeks and Weekdays (other than Wednesday and Friday) I am free. I have a small fenced garden perfect for quick potty breaks. I have space in my room for a crate if needed but any animals are welcome to go on furniture. I also have treats that will be approved by you before feeding.
About: I have over seven years of hands-on pet care experience, including working in a busy doggy daycare and managing both a cattery and daycare facility. Throughout my career, I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness at all times. I’m deeply passionate about animal wellbeing, which extends into my personal life as well—I share my own beloved golden girl with my husband, and caring for her has further strengthened my understanding of the love, patience, and responsibility pets deserve. I currently work at a doggy daycare three days a week, from Tuesday through Thursday. This gives me full availability on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends, allowing me to offer flexible and reliable pet care during those times. I’m happy to accommodate a variety of schedules and provide attentive care whenever your pet needs it most. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine, whether in my home or a pet owner’s home. I focus on maintaining familiar schedules for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection, while also prioritizing safety, cleanliness, and calm handling. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely, keeping the environment tidy and ensuring pets feel relaxed and well cared for in their own surroundings.
“Our cats (and also plants) enjoyed the care and attention she gave them. The cats were so relaxed and happy when we came home. Every day she send very lovely and clear updates and photos during the time we were away. We will definitely ask you first next time when we are going away. Thank you for your care.”

About: I’ve got lots of experience in looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes from my childhood sleepy greyhound to my sisters stubborn miniature dachshund Richmond. Based in the centre of Lancaster I’m in a convenient location and close to some great walks. I currently work full time but from home a few days week so I’m keen to make friends with lots of furry faces either giving them the perfect home away from home or just taking them for a stroll I love making sure the dogs feel safe and comfortable around me & in my home. I make sure to give a lot of attention, cuddles & play with their favourite toy but also make sure to stick to their usual routine so they know they can relax in my company.

Currently working part-time (2/3 days a week in evenings) so are very available throughout most days and weekends if needed, also flexible with this too. About: I own a dog walking business which is based in the areas of Morecambe, Heysham, Hest Bank and Halton and surrounding areas. I have a crated van, insurance and I’m also Canine First Aid Trained. I also have a pet jet for washing down your muddy pups 🐾 I have been open since April 2025. I walk in small groups of maximum 4 dogs paired carefully. It’s £15 for a 1 hour group walk, additional dogs from the same household are an extra £5. Pet visits are £10. I have many years of experience in the industry with all types of animals including horses, rabbits, dogs and cats. I also offer horse care services which I am qualified in with 15+ years personal experience 🐎 Please contact me first for a free meet and greet if you are interested, thankyou 🐾😊 This job fits into my weekly routine perfectly, I love my job and all the furry friends that come with it, it fits in with my healthy active lifestyle very well. On my walks, all the dogs are treated like my own. They are all spoilt with treats (if allowed) and lots of attention. My walks are a perfect way for your dogs to socialise with other dogs which is very important. You can find from my walks that some range from quiet strolls to adventurous walks/runs, depending on your dogs capability. All dogs are paired carefully 😊
About: I’ve owned 2 dogs in my lifetime, ranging from a boxer to a small yorkie, both of which have completely different personalities but I love them equally. My yorkie is currently 13 years old and so I have experience working with older dogs and I acknowledge that they need more time to go on short walks, as well as the possibility of bowel problems, sleepiness, and limited eating. I have also had the opportunity to take care of my friends dog while she was away on holiday, he was a cockapoo. I love going on walks around nature and whilst on these walks, I have helped reunite owners with their lost dogs twice through looking at collars, as well as ensuring the dog stays with me and is given lots of cuddles for reassurance! Im currently a second year university student and apart from Mondays, my days in university aren’t busy at all, with me only in university for 2 hours at most from Tuesday to Friday. I have Wednesdays and weekends off, as well as every evening and I would love to be able to give my love to other dogs whilst I’m in university and away from my baby at home. I’m happy to travel to different places around lancashire and Cumbria so your doggo can have a new place to wander and run about :) I Have my own room in university and it is a house with 4 other people. There is a small back yard but I live opposite the University of Cumbria which has a field, perfect for letting dogs have a toilet break if needed. I also have a car and I am more than happy for dogs to have a drive around whilst we search for a big field or nature walks!
About: Dogs are truly man’s best friend and I have witnessed this through being around dogs from a young age. I have recently trained my own puppy and would love to offer my services to anyone who needs them. I am currently a university student, as a result this means my schedule is fairly flexible and can be accommodated to your pet needs. I am fully available all weekends! My university timetable means that I only have one to two hours of contact time a day meaning that the rest of my time will be spent looking after your beloved pets. I am very lucky at home to have a fenced garden that allows my Labrador puppy to run around freely without constant overlooking. However, if your pet does need overlooking while they roam outside it would be a pleasure. I like to make sure my dog gets to play with offer dogs as it is good for them socially, although if your pet is not comfortable with other dogs I will also accommodate this by keeping them on a lead or going to areas with a small dog cohort.

Lancaster pet owners share their Rover experiences
Linda has been absolutely amazing. She gave so much care and attention to all of our elderly cat’s needs and eccentricities, ensuring he got all of his meds and plenty of time for strokes. We were a bit worried about leaving our cat in the hands of a stranger, especially as he has additional health needs, but Linda treated him like he was one of our own and we were able to see him contentedly purring in the videos she sent during her visits, leaving us free to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing he was in safe hands. I highly recommend Linda, and would definitely use her services again.
Chloe looked after our two cats for a week while we were on holiday. I loved receiving updates and photos from Chloe while we were away. Chloe is fantastic and looked after our cats so well. They looked so happy in the photos! Would highly recommend and will definitely use Chloe’s cat drop in services again ☺️🐈 🐈

Bonnie did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats when we were away at short notice. She was reliable and professional and kept us updated with lovely photos every day which made us feel very reassured! Both cats were really happy and relaxed when we returned. We would highly recommend Bonnie and would not hesitate to book with her again.

It was in the initial meeting that i knew Beatrice was the perfect person to look after a rather nervous cat who would be feeling lonely when i went on holiday. She was great in learning what was needed and i know that in her 30 minute visits, my cat would have got a huge amount of 'tlc'. It was great to receive a video during my time away. The end of my holiday was thrown into total chaos due to severe weather in Europe, airport closures and flight cancellations. However, Beatrice willingly stepped in with anything extra which was needed until i could return home. The wonderful thing is that when i go away again, i will be asking Beatrice to look after my cat in full knowledge of the superb care and attention my 'fluffy friend' will get!
Izzy and Ben are wonderful sitters for our 8 week old puppy. They took the time to meet us first and understand what we were looking for and have provided him excellent care and play where we have needed. Covering both future and last minute bookings. Great communication, photos and feedback.
