I'm a 42 year old London based media freelancer. I grew up with cats and always find meeting felines a treat! I'm happy to send photos and updates, give lots of love and attention and carefully follow any cat-care instructions given. I like to stay fairly local for daytime drop-ins, but will consider travelling within London for overnight stays - feel free to send an enquiry! I was inspired to sign up after looking after a friend's cat on and off for several weeks. Despite special dietary requirements, feline mental-health considerations (the cat is a rescue cat and often behaves strangely) and an emergency visit to the vet due to illness, we got along famously. I gained lots of experience, adapting to unusual requirements, following instructions from the vet and administering medication. I found the whole thing so rewarding that, when I heard about Cat In A Flat, I knew it was for me! I don't smoke and would be happy to water indoor plants and take in post if asked.

Alison took such wonderful care of my cats while I was away. She shared detailed and regular updates, and my girls both seemed very calm and relaxed when I got back from my holiday. I would not hesitate to book Alison again.
