“Matt and Zoe took great care of Molli and sent regular updates, so we knew she was OK and having a good time while we were away. Matt and Zoe were very attentive and spent a lot of time with Molli, taking her with them to various places so she wasn't lonely or bored. We'll definitely be using them again whenever we need a dog sitter, would highly recommend!”

About: Since I can remember, I have been the go-to dog sitter for my family's wide range of dogs. I will provide a safe and nurturing environment for your dog so that you can enjoy your time away stress-free. I'm always willing to make any adaptations according to the nature of your dog, so feel free to ask. I am in the fortunate position to be able to adapt my work schedule and also to work from home when needed so I can ensure that your dog gets the best care. While I live in a flat, we have a small fenced area for off-lead play (if you would like that for your dog) and some nice green areas locally for leaded walks. I have a sofa which dogs are welcome to use if (and only if) you say it's allowed.
About: We had a dog as children I later owned two dogs, Daisy and Bongo (in photo gallery). In Italy, where I managed a study centre, I looked after the owners dog during their winter absence. In Yorkshire I worked in the office and house of a stud farm and looked after Bonzo the office dog. Recently, for 4 years, I walked, swam and went on adventures with a lovely bearded collie, Nelson, until he died, which was heart breaking. John, his owner, has provided a reference. Last year I joined a house sitting site and had a great year. I first looked after Rhubarb, in Yorkshire. a sun worshipper who knew when she wanted to go for a walk, and when she didn't. Then it was Reggie, a one year old terrier who kept me on my toes and was an absolute character. Then it was Knaresborough with Mollie and Maisie, the cutest, sweetest most loving pair. Lula was an anxious little Tibetan terrier who liked sleeping, a lot, and going for quiet walks on Ilkley Moor and in the woods. She even decided the river was quite nice to chill in. They all feature in the rogues gallery. Two of the owners have given references. Having lived all over the world I returned to the UK to retire. I am available from mid March until the end of October/mid November - I don't do English winters. I am totally free of commitments and can dog sit in someone's home for one to three weeks but am flexible on dates. I prefer countryside sits in new places, Yorkshire, Lakes, Lancashire coast. I could have your dog stay with me, if I am not booked on an away stay. Only older smaller dogs to stay with me please. I live opposite the beach so plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. I love the countryside, walking, swimming, reading, creative writing and painting - so am equally as happy sitting at home quietly if your dog is more of a home body! Last year was great. I had the company of some fabulous dogs. We visited National Trust properties. Walked favourite places. Explored woods. Swam in rivers. Went on car trips. Hung around in the garden at home. Had grooming sessions and belly rubs, well that's the dogs, not me. And cuddled on the couch. I met some adorable dogs and lovely owners and visited some fantastic places. I'm hoping for more of the same this year. I absolutely love dogs and for some reason dogs always adore me, even the anxious little Lula took to me straight away. All dogs are different and I'm happy to follow feeding and walking regimes. I'm good at ball throwing, belly rubbing, grooming, cuddling up and watching TV in the evenings.

“I was looking for a sitter to watch our little Banksy whilst we went on holiday. I am so so pleased with how well he has been looked after, i received constant updates and pictures of our pooch and i knew he was in safe hands. The whole process from start to finish was amazing and went so smoothly. Chelsea and Andy are fantastic dog sitters and if your pup likes other dogs then this is a little holiday for them aswell. 10/10 review, will be using chelsea and Andy again every single time we go away. Couldn’t have asked for a more amazing family to give Banksy the best week ❤️ From Scarlett and Tom”

“I van honestly say that Weeman had the best time ever, he had loads of walks, went swimming and even tried his hand at herding cows and sheep. Caragh gave me regular updates with lots of photos and videos. I will definitely be using them in the future. A1 fantastic”

“As someone who never used dog boarding before, we were initially very reluctant and anxious. Our pets have been our family for years, most especially our senior dog (who’s 13 yrs old-he’s been with us since he was a pup), there was that fear, even thinking about the idea but because its necessary, we just have to do it. We are very thankful that James and Jane really took care of Pierre and Zaki. James is reassuring and made us feel confident that there isn't anything to worry about. He kept us updated and was responsive all throughout Pierre and Zaki’s stay. We are glad we got to the right sitters the first time and we do recommend them in anyone’s future pet services.”

“Daisy 2nd day care with Liv and she had so much fun playing with her doggies going on a little adventure walk and overall just having doggy fun. Lots of updates which is always lovely helps out my mind at rest as I hate leaving her but I know she is in safe and loving hands. Thanks Liv xx”

He’s been fast asleep since I picked him up, he didn’t want to leave, bless him! Would definitely recommend this sitter! Thank you so much xx”

“Syd loved his first night on his holidays with Pete! The communication was fantastic, lots of updates and photos so we were reassured he was in good hands and having a lovely time. Syd didn't want to leave at the end of his weekend! He's looking forward to his next visit already!”

About: I have always had a love for cats as they're my favourite animal, I had two cats when I was younger called Jess and Molly who have since sadly passed but I got to love them for their entire lives. I'm now lucky enough take care of my three adorable cats at home; Pageant queen destroyer of the universe who is 2 years old and is reserved but very(!) sassy, Gary who is 20 weeks who is a very cheeky boy who loves to play, and, Striper - the newest addition to our family - he is only 9 weeks old and is slowly beating Gary in play-fights!

About: I've had pets since 2023. I have 3 indoor cats back in Brunei - I feed them, clean their litter, and bring them to grooming. Occasionally, I would walk them as they do enjoy being in the garden at home. Experience-wise professionally, I have none as a sitter. I miss taking care of my cats so I'd love to take up the responsibility of being a sitter! I've also had experience volunteering at an animal shelter where I had to feed about 40 cats and clean their living area. No one will be assisting me with care.

“Excellent! Paige is instantly likeable from the off, which put me at ease straight away. I was sent updates, videos and pics of Paige and Lucy throughout all of my holiday. On arriving home my flat was immaculate and Paige had even changed the bedding for me. I really cannot recommend enough. Basically I trusted Paige with my home and my much loved cat Lucy and I know that both were looked after as if they were her own. I will definitely be using Paige for all my future nights away and holidays. Thank you Paige - you’re an absolute credit!”

About: I've been around cats most of my life. Some of my earliest memories are on the family farm with cats everywhere then, after the farm was sold, growing up on a rural property we always had at least one cat. Now I'm a grown up cat dad to Kobi and Cas (as well as a small dog) who are British Shorthair brothers aged 13 years old. Both of my brothers have at least 2 cats too - we're definitely a cat family! In terms of pet sitting experience I'm new to the game (I've selected 13 years to reflect the years of experience looking after our own) but I have used this service myself and I'm a natural cat person so I would love to look after your furry friends for you.

“Once again Rachel did a fabulous job of looking after my ginger fur bombs! She is very thorough and I appreciated her letting me know that she had visited, and that both girls were very happy to receive cuddles - Luna was particularly chatty! Rachel went the extra mile as she kindly put the bin out for me and brought several parcels inside. ”

“Matthew was fantastic with drop ins for my cats! He kept me so updated and it really alleviated my travelling stress. I came home to 2 happy cats and had a relaxing time away knowing they were safe. He even went above and beyond cleaning up after them.”

“Our cats (and also plants) enjoyed the care and attention she gave them. The cats were so relaxed and happy when we came home. Every day she send very lovely and clear updates and photos during the time we were away. We will definitely ask you first next time when we are going away. Thank you for your care.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs all my life which has made me become very fin of all animals and created a passion for animals and I’d love if I could always be around animals and take care of the and give the the love the deserve. Currently I have two big dogs who I love and adore and I can’t wait to meet many other different kinds of dogs and cats. I’m currently studying at Lancaster University, however my schedule is not very busy at the moment so I would love to use my spare time to help others and care for their animals. I’m very experienced with dogs of all breeds and could manage any issues I may or may not encounter. I love playing with dogs so I would be very content looking after playful dogs who need a lot of attention. I also enjoy going on walks by myself but having a dog there would make it even better! I’m confident that I can manage and be attentive to any breed and any personality a dog may have. I’m good at reading animals body language to understand if they’re nervous, uncomfortable or unsure and would do my best to take them out the situation that was maybe causing them to feel such a way.
“Thank you Ashleigh for looking after my boys. They seems really calm when I got home and I loved the fact Bailey was great with having someone he didn't know in the house. I loved the photo updates. 10/10.”

“Jason is a lovely guy, very friendly and looking after people's fur babies are obviously a passion for him. He did an absolutely fantastic job looking after my cat Charlie. He spent time with Charlie to play with him and give him attention which was really appreciated. The photos and videos at each visit were great and the messages for each visit letting me know exactly how Charlie was doing. It was very reassuring knowing that Charlie was being looked after so well whilst we were away. I'll most certainly be booking Jason when we have our next trip away. Definitely a 5 star review!”

About: I have taken care of both my own dogs and other peoples for 10 years, I also have experience in cat sitting and have previously owned Guinea pigs. Throughout my time looking after dogs I have dealt with both senior and puppies making me well suited to accommodate the specific needs of individual dogs. I am currently studying at university and have plenty of time both to walk dogs and make home visits, as well as overnight stays so am very flexible in terms of how many hours I can work as well as when those hours are. Both at home and in another pet owners home I make sure that Gates leading out of the property are properly shut so that all pets remain safe. I also make sure that the needs of all pets including food, water and attention are met so that the pets in question are not only well looked after but are also happy.

“Philip was great with Rex who can be a bit anxious with new people. He was very relaxed about letting Rex settle in his own way (storming around the house looking for titbits!) and they were hanging out on the sofa when I went to pick up. Highly recommended!”

“Chelsea and her family made me feel very safe and comfortable leaving my pair of mad Cocker Spaniels with them for doggy day care. They are clearly able to provide a safe, caring environment for visiting dogs. The pictures posted were great and helped so much to reassure that your precious loved pets are happy and cared for. I was easily able to get in touch with Chelsea when I was late picking the dogs up and communication with her was easy.”

About: I grew up with two family dogs who lived to 10 and 12 years old, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. Over the years, I helped with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning, and giving dogs attention and companionship. I’ve also helped care for my uncle’s dogs, and he has shared many useful puppy training tips and experiences with me. Through that, I’ve learned more about routines, patience, positive reinforcement. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and I’m always willing to learn each owner’s preferences and follow their instructions carefully to make sure their pets feel safe and comfortable. Schedule: My schedule is currently flexible because I’m studying programming from home while job searching. I’m generally more available during the daytime and enjoy spending time caring for pets, including walks, playtime, feeding, and keeping them company. I’m also happy to follow each owner’s preferred routine and care instructions. At the moment, I’m unable to host pets in my home due to rental restrictions, but I’m happy to care for pets in the owner’s home and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. Safety, trust & environment: I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while caring for them. I’m patient, attentive, and careful to follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walking preferences, and any special care needs. At the moment, I’m unable to host pets in my home due to rental restrictions, but I’m happy to care for pets in the owner’s home and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.
“Matt was awesome with Bruce, he sent me video clips and pictures during the day. Bruce seemed to absolutely love it, came home in a really great mood. Matt seems to be really good with dogs, he clearly loves them. Bruce had a ball, and I can’t thank or recommend Matt enough.”

“Victoria has been great! She was communicating very well whilst looking after our dog and Bonnie (our dog) had a great time. She settled in straight away and she was happy as ever. Highly recommend Victoria!”

About: I grew up with a dog for 15 and a half years, which had a profound impact on me. I decided to pursue dog training after adopting a Boxer, a decision I've never regretted. I've learned a great deal about myself, including my insecurities, strengths, and how dogs and horses perceive me. It's been an invaluable experience that I've refined more and more throughout my life. I can care for dogs of any size and age, though they should be at least one year old. If needed, I can train young dogs and also care for older ones. I can also administer oral medications and give your Sweetie a soft & calming massage. In 2018 and 2021, I adopted two rescued Greyhounds whose calm and balanced nature has helped many other dogs. Even though they sometimes get excited at dog meetups, they always manage to build a stable relationship. This invaluable talent has brought us many friends on our daily walks. My two sweeties have become important members of various dog groups / packs and are, of course, always welcome among people. I am also available to help with nearly any behavioural issues you may encounter with your dog. How to read a dog's body language? How do I train my dog not to pull on the leash all the time? Why does my dog bark even when there's (obviously) no reason to? Would you like to change this unwanted behaviour in your beloved pet? Talk to me. I work from my home office in the mornings and late evenings. At midday, I take my two Greyhounds for their second walk, and they always enjoy sharing this time with new friends. They are both extremely friendly and outgoing, even with small dogs. Then it's garden time, perhaps some training, or playtime with friends like a Giant Schnauzer and a Labrador at my home. So there's always something going on, and after all that romping around, a little nap is more than welcome. I live in a typical residential area in Morecambe, yet still close to Lancaster. The area in and around Heysham and Morecambe offers plenty of opportunities for dog walks - whether out in the open countryside, across fields, or through small wooded areas. Beach walks are by far the dogs' favourite, and we regularly meet up with friends. At home and in my backyard I offer lounging areas, cooling mats in the summer, and a separate feeding area - indoors or outdoors, depending on the season and weather conditions.
“Thanks Reece for taking care of our little dog Teddy at short notice. Ted seemed entirely at home, and I appreciated that she had company all day, getting to explore the garden, snooze on the beds and even get a little walk - Reece was great at providing updates and photos, and super friendly.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child. I have always had multiple pets. I am an ex police officer, so you know you can trust me in your home. I am confident with animals and very trustworthy. I intend on keeping the owner updated with pictures and discussions about their pets throughout my visit

“Mei is an absolute dream. She was a great communicator when setting up a trial sit. Very knowledgeable and calm re her experience with dogs, in fact as soon as I arrived at her home for the 1st time - my dog was wagging her tail and eager to greet Mei! She is usually very shy and sometimes crouches down with strangers, however not this time! She was really happy, trusting and not shy at all with Mei. Her children are so kind also and very calm, before long her daughter was stroking my pups belly which usually only happens with regular people she knows well! I received many lovely photos, Pupdates and even a video. Walkies went so well. Mei even has a cute dog mat which my pup lay down on. Mei surely has a natural way with dog and both me and my pup look forward to booking her again. Thank you Mei and family xx”

“Poppy has been absolutely amazing with our 3-month-old puppy, Bobby! From the moment we met, it was evident she's fantastic with dogs and is very caring, loving, and patient towards them. This was so important to me. Bobby had such a blast today, it's like we've sent him to a five-star puppy retreat/woodland hotel. He had a fab walk with Poppy and Primrose in the picturesque countryside. I really appreciated photo updates from Poppy and lovely check-ins about Bobby's stay. I highly recommend Poppy to all loving pet parents, she's truly fab with animals! We have already booked another long-term stay with Poppy for our pup :) Thanks so much, Poppy!”

“Really lovely couple who I immediately trusted to look after my boy. Finley obviously had a great time and came home super happy. Thank you so much guys. It's great to have somewhere I know he will be safe and comfortable.”

“Samantha was a fabulous host for Baloo! She looked after him so well and understood completely the needs of large breed puppies. Baloo had a great time with Samantha, whether a lovey walk or lots of cuddles, and came home very happy and comfortably tired after a day of fun. I would leave Baloo with Samantha again without hesitation and would recommend her to anyone else looking for doggy day care.”

“She did a great Job. Came to meet our dog before hand to help get her used to a dog walker as it was the first time we have left her with a walker and on the day though our dog was barky and a bit nervous she was very good with her. Kept us updates with messages and some pictures and most importantly our dog was safe and got her walk. Cant recommend Chloe any more!”

About: I raised and trained my Chihuahua Bella since a puppy and she's now 7 years old and still as lively as ever! I'm now lucky enough take care of my three adorable cats at home; Pageant queen destroyer of the universe who is 2 years old and is reserved but very(!) sassy, Gary who is 20 weeks who is a very cheeky boy who loves to play, and, Striper - the newest addition to our family - who is only 9 weeks old and is slowly beating Gary in play-fights! I also have two guinea pigs at home - Mochi and Ichigo - who have taken a short while to get comfortable but are now as happy as ever squeaking and jumping for lunch! I'm lucky enough to be in a position where I can do this as my main job so I have loads of time to take care of your pets! My usual morning drop-ins are around 9-10am, Lunch around 12-1 and evening around 7-8 however if you have specific timings I'm very flexible! I'll make sure to check in with you when I arrive, send some cute little photos of them playing and eating, and then let you know when I'm out and everything is locked up. I will always do a quick visit with yourself there first so I can see your routine, anything to be aware of (gates to keep them in specific areas/ doors to keep shut) and so you can let me know anything specific or more complicated in person! I have given my cats their worming a flea treatments in the past and given my dog medication when required so if there's any specific needs for your pet I'm more than happy to help!
“Gandalf had a fantastic time with Alex! I highly recommend using Alex, she is kind and loving towards all animals and Gandalf loves her and her dog Tally. Thanks Alex for giving Gandalf a good time much appreciated ❤”
“Elle accepted our Doberman puppy for a walk at last minute and we couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the process was! We were updated throughout with pictures and kept in touch about anything we needed to know. Would 100 percent recommend Elle to anyone else and will definitely be using her services again :) Thank you!!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child. I have always had multiple pets. I am an ex police officer, so you know you can trust me in your home. I’m confident, friendly and reliable. I am extremely flexible and willing to change my day around to meet the needs of you and your pet. Any questions/requests just ask me! I am confident with animals and very trustworthy. I intend on keeping the owner updated with pictures and discussions about their pets throughout my visit
About: I grew up with 2 wonderful dogs, who I still miss to this day (they never really leave you, do they?). I am extremely dog-centric; I say hello to all the dogs, I'm the first people friends call when they need a dog-sitter. I am an ace walker - your dog will get ALL the walks (if they need them!). I'm happy to care for all ages, breeds and sizes of hounds - not just happy, but honoured to! I'm an academic that has just graduated with a PhD from Lancaster Uni. I do teaching here and there throughout the week, and in between I'm writing academic journal articles for publication. This means that I am free most of the week, and when not teaching at the uni I can work wherever I need to be! I can stick to whatever guidelines or boundaries are set and I love long walks (or short walks if they only have little legs). I can't wait to meet your familiars!
“Jess has been an absolute godsend. Our dog absolutely adores her and she has made my transition back to work and leaving the dog at home a much smoother process. I highly recommend Jess to anyone once she comes back from a much needed summer break”

I have a crated van, insurance and I’m also Canine First Aid Trained. I also have a pet jet for washing down your muddy pups 🐾 I have been open since April 2025. I walk in small groups of maximum 4 dogs paired carefully. It’s £15 for a 1 hour group walk, additional dogs from the same household are an extra £5. Pet visits are £10. I have many years of experience in the industry with all types of animals including horses, rabbits, dogs and cats. I also offer horse care services which I am qualified in with 15+ years personal experience 🐎 Please contact me first for a free meet and greet if you are interested, thankyou 🐾😊 This job fits into my weekly routine perfectly, I love my job and all the furry friends that come with it, it fits in with my healthy active lifestyle very well. On my walks, all the dogs are treated like my own. They are all spoilt with treats (if allowed) and lots of attention. My walks are a perfect way for your dogs to socialise with other dogs which is very important. You can find from my walks that some range from quiet strolls to adventurous walks/runs, depending on your dogs capability. All dogs are paired carefully 😊
About: With over 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, I’ve had the joy of growing up surrounded by pets thanks to my family’s love for animals. This has given me a deep understanding of their needs, behaviors, and unique personalities. I’ve also had hands-on experience caring for pets with special needs, such as a British Shorthair cat with a heart condition, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times. What makes me stand out as a pet sitter is my lifelong dedication to animals and my ability to provide attentive, personalized care. I bring not only experience but also empathy and patience, making pets feel secure and loved in my care. I’m comfortable with senior pet care and can handle the specific challenges that come with medical needs or administering medication. My approach prioritizes the happiness and health of every pet as if they were my own. As someone who works from home, I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate ample time to caring for pets nearby. My daily routine revolves around creating a calm and loving environment for pets, ensuring they get the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Whether it’s regular walks, feeding, playtime, or keeping their spaces clean and comfortable, I’m able to seamlessly integrate pet care into my day-to-day activities. My flexibility also means I can accommodate specific needs or schedules, providing reliable and personalized care that fits around the pet and owner’s requirements. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure at all times. I carefully remove any hazards, such as toxic plants or small objects, and provide plenty of space for play and relaxation. Their well-being is my top priority, so I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, tailored to their specific needs. When looking after pets in their own home, I prioritize respecting the owner’s space while ensuring the pets feel at ease in their familiar surroundings. I follow detailed instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and care routines, while also keeping the home tidy and safe. Building trust with both pets and owners is essential, so I maintain open communication and provide regular updates, giving peace of mind that their furry friends are in caring and responsible hands.
About: I’ve taken care of my two hungarian vislas from a young age, alongside my rag doll-pursian cat which has allowed me to gain a wide range of skills in feeding, walking and bathing animals! (i also have chickens and fish!) Many of my friends and family own animals, where i have had to look after animals with all different sizes and personalities. This has allowed meant i have a boarder range of knowledge when taking care of animals. I'm currently living at Lancaster University, but often travel home where I come back to my two dogs and cat. My work week has given me lots of free-time which means I will have more than enough time to care for your pets! When living at home, I have a fenced garden which gives my dogs the ability to have lots of free space to roam around in. I am dedicated to creating a safe and comfortable space for any pet, which includes regular bathroom breaks and socialisation.
“Ashleigh is superb. I know Bob is so safe in her hands. She is diligent, caring and a wise safeguarder. She is also dependable and has been so flexible about my disability. Can't recommend enough.”
“Mia is fab. My dog Nadia loves her. She posts nice photos and videos and always keeps the app up to date. I was really worried about getting a new dog walker and Mia has made everything much better.”

About: Since I was little I have always lived with animals. Currently my family and I have 2 cats and 1 dog. I walk my dog most days and I helped to train him as a pup. I love my cats so much and spend a lot of my time playing with and caring for them. I really miss being around my animals when I’m away at University, so would be so happy to meet and care for your pet :) I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. I am currently on a break from placement, writing up an extended project at home, so my schedule is very flexible. With a few days notice I am more or less available whenever is needed. When looking after dogs I would ensure I keep them on a lead at all times - unless I had full trust in my relationship with them and you had confirmed they could be let off. If a cat was an indoor cat I would never let it near an outside door or leave windows open. I am living in student accommodation at the moment so would not be able to have pets in my own home.
About: I have been brought up around dogs since I was a young child, as my family first had a springer spaniel. I've taken care of lots of different types of dogs throughout my life. I helped to train our working cocker spaniel since she was a puppy. Who I also cared for and walked often. I have always really enjoyed spending time with dogs and looking after them. I have full availability through the week at the moment, so have lots of time free to look after your pets! 🐾 However, I am not available for boarding at the weekends. I live in a fairly large flat with a balcony but this is enclosed, so there are no safety issues with it. I live on the canal, and near a nature reserve, so it is perfect for dog walking! 🐕 I walk a lot anyway, so it would be perfect to have the company of a dog on my walks!

I am so so pleased with how well he has been looked after, i received constant updates and pictures of our pooch and i knew he was in safe hands. The whole process from start to finish was amazing and went so smoothly.
