“I am always a little concerned leaving Lola with anyone. As she didn't have a good start in life. I had a very good feeling on our first meeting with Ian and Tracy. I immediately felt at ease as they clearly experienced and comfortable with dogs. They have two dogs of their own and Lola was happy to be with them. I always feel a little nervous and guilty when we go away. So to have someone like Ian and Tracy who reassures you, that she will be well looked after, gives you peace of mind. Excellent communication received, with regular updates and photos, this all helped us. Lola had lots of walks and play time, she was very happy and relaxed when we picked her up. ` I will definitely be using Ian and Tracy again. I highly recommend them for dog boarding. “If you’ve got a reactive dog, you can be sure they’ll be well looked after with Reece and Lucy! In the past I’ve been so worried about leaving my cocker spaniel with sitters, but from the moment we met I could see how much these two really care about dogs and therefore would prioritise Otis’ comfort, looking out for him and having plans in place for moments where he might have gotten stressed. It turns out this was barely needed as clearly Otis felt right at home from the off, and he didn’t have a single moment of reactivity the whole weekend - which is amazing and absolutely testament to the great care that he was shown. I felt really relaxed about leaving Otis with Reece and Lucy, and I’d 100% do this again. Great comms before and during Otis’ stay too. Thank you both!!”

I usually worry a lot when leaving them, as they are very attached to us and Max struggles to get in and out of the house, but Chloe kept us reassured with plenty of photos and updates and visited them at the same time each day so that they expected and enjoyed her visits. About: I have always had a love for cats as they're my favourite animal, I had two cats when I was younger called Jess and Molly who have since sadly passed but I got to love them for their entire lives. “Excellent! Paige is instantly likeable from the off, which put me at ease straight away. I was sent updates, videos and pics of Paige and Lucy throughout all of my holiday. Some of my earliest memories are on the family farm with cats everywhere then, after the farm was sold, growing up on a rural property we always had at least one cat. About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. She asked all the right questions to ensure the walk would be enjoyable for all three of them and Loki certainly looked like he had enjoyed himself when he came back. About: I'm experienced in caring for both cats and dogs, and especially passionate about giving excellent care to older and/or medically complex pets. I love the wide variety in cat behaviour, whether they are happiest just existing in the same room, or sitting on my lap, I am always happy to take care of them. While I love all types of dogs, I'm best suited to dogs with less intensive exercise needs, such as smaller breeds or elder dogs. I also have experience taking care of reactive dogs. For drop-ins and dog walks, I may be able to offer a discounted rate in the LA1 3 and LA1 4 areas. As Rover does not allow me to set holiday pricing outside of bank holidays, I may need to manually apply a price increase of £10 a day for housesits during more high-demand periods, such as school holidays. I am sometimes able to offer discounted rates for customers in financial hardship requiring pet care due to an emergency. My first proper petsitting experience was taking care of my neighbour's cat when they went on holiday. Even once her owners were back from holiday, we got into a routine where she would wait on the front doorstep every day for me to give her chin scritches. My interest in taking care of medically complex pets comes from personal experience, as my family dog suffered a spinal cord injury a few years ago. Luckily, after excellent vet care, he has an excellent quality of life and is very happy, just with shorter walks than before and regular pain-management medication. I'm very happy to take care of pets that need a little extra attention and support, whether that is with medication, toileting, pain management, reactivity, anxiety, and anything else your pet needs support with. If your pets are used to having people around most of the day, I recommend house sitting, as this guarantees your pet will receive love and care whenever they need it. I'll probably ask a lot of questions just to make sure their is minimal disruption to your pets regular lifestyle, and will of course send plenty of updates and photos while taking care of them. I primarily work as a petsitter, alongside occasional knit and crochet commissions. This gives me full flexibility to work within your pets' usual routine, and dedicate as much time as they need to be happy, healthy and comfortable. I will care for your pets as you do! I trust that you know what is best for your pet, and will always to my best to minimise any disruption to their usual routine and lifestyle. I understand that some pets can find it stressful to be taken care of by a new person, so am always happy to do home visits ahead of your trip to make sure your pet knows and likes me - or at least, accepts my presence. I am also insured as a petsitter and dog walker, should any incidents occur. For safety reasons, I prefer to provide my own lead for walks - I will bring this along to a meet and greet so that we can check it's comfortable for your dog. If your dog (or cat!) has a usual walk route, I always appreciate it you can map it out for me.

About: I grew up with two family dogs who lived to 10 and 12 years old, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my life. About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs growing up and I’m excited to meet your best friends! I regularly take care of my family and friends’ animals as I cannot have pets in my current flat and I adore it! I even have two cats of my own ( that live away from me :( )! I currently work shifts for a local retailer so my work hours do vary greatly, however, I have a good ability to choose when and where to work so can work my hours around your pets needs. Due to my flat not having any available outdoor areas, I choose to provide only home-visit and neighbourhood services. As much as I will not be keeping pets at my home, I live a two minute walk away from the promenade, giving great walking stretches for any dogs, keeping them entertained and happy in a great environment. For in-house visits I am more than happy to do whatever is requested as I understand you know your pet better than anyone else, and I want to offer them and you, the best care possible.

About: I've always lived in a house with multilpe animals throughout my entire life, i've lived with multiple different types of dogs from puppy stage to senior stage as well as dogs that are more high energy and dogs that are more relaxed. i've also lived alongside cats too and currently have one in my household. i'm a full time student so outwith my class times I have no other commitments which means that I have plenty of time to take care of pets. About: I have five years of hands-on experience caring for my family dog, a 7-year-old Pomeranian–Shiba Inu mix weighing around 6 kg. He is energetic and friendly with other dogs, so I am comfortable supervising walks, playtime and social interaction. Since moving to the UK, I have really missed spending time with my dog in Hong Kong. This encouraged me to join this platform so I can continue caring for dogs and provide them with safe, attentive and affectionate companionship. I usually walk him for around 30 minutes in the morning or afternoon and another 90 minutes in the evening. I manage his feeding routine, clean his paws after every walk, bathe and brush him regularly, and brush his teeth weekly. I have also given him deworming treatment and medication for ear irritation. After his neutering surgery, I cared for him during his recovery and monitored his energy levels and behaviour closely. During walks, I remain calm, maintain a steady pace and keep the lead controlled rather than encouraging pulling or running. I am reliable, patient and happy to follow each owner’s feeding, walking and care instructions carefully. I can provide regular photo and message updates. I currently offer dog walking and care at the owner’s home. In an emergency, I would contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary assistance when necessary. I am available every day from July to September, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime and attentive care. From late September, my availability will depend on my university timetable, but I will regularly update my schedule and communicate clearly with owners before accepting bookings. As my accommodation does not allow pets, I only provide dog walking and drop-in care at the owner’s home. I will follow all feeding, walking, medication and household instructions carefully, keep doors secure and make sure your dog is comfortable and safe. “If you’ve got a reactive dog, you can be sure they’ll be well looked after with Reece and Lucy! In the past I’ve been so worried about leaving my cocker spaniel with sitters, but from the moment we met I could see how much these two really care about dogs and therefore would prioritise Otis’ comfort, looking out for him and having plans in place for moments where he might have gotten stressed. It turns out this was barely needed as clearly Otis felt right at home from the off, and he didn’t have a single moment of reactivity the whole weekend - which is amazing and absolutely testament to the great care that he was shown. I felt really relaxed about leaving Otis with Reece and Lucy, and I’d 100% do this again. Great comms before and during Otis’ stay too. Thank you both!!”

About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy while in my care. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping to their usual routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. I'm flexible and can usually accommodate your dog's normal routine, helping them feel settled and comfortable while they're with us. Your dog will be part of the pack in our home from home environment. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. We have a loving family home with three children—two teenagers and an eight-year-old who has grown up around animals and is always gentle and respectful. We also have two friendly, dog-tolerant cats, so any dogs staying with us will need to be comfortable around cats and children. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. I only accept dogs that I feel will be happy and comfortable in our home environment. This helps ensure a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for your dog, our family and our own pets. To determine this, we always like to have a visit from you and your dog to our home. We just want to be as sure as we can that everyone is going to be happy during their stay!
