“It is always daunting leaving a pet when going on holiday. We tried a cattery for our Morris but he didn’t enjoy it and neither did we knowing he was stressed. I booked with Heather and it has been the best experience. Photos and updates every visit was reassuring that our Morris was safe and happy in his own home. Heather was always quick to respond to messages and made sure Morris was happy and content, playing with him and his favourite toys each visit. About: I have always lived and cared for dogs and am comfortable with large and small breeds. From a young age I have had large breeds with a variety of personalities - so am well experienced with all kinds of behaviour from dogs. I love walking in the mountains, and would love a companion to take on my walks, but am also open to smaller breeds that can keep me company at home. I am fortunate enough to work from home 2 days a week so am also able to offer overnight stays during the week. All week days are available upon request. I can be flexible and try to accommodate your specific needs. I am able to work from home during the week if required and am therefore able to offer weekend and weekday overnight stays. I live in the Lake District with plenty of lovely walking routes. I also have a fenced garden so your dog can play in the garden. I have one small cat, called Nala. She is a timid cat and will likely stay out or stay upstairs away from the dog, but she is harmless. Please provide your dogs bed so I can ensure they feel as comfortable as possible.
