About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.

About: Dog owner from childhood that has extended into adulthood. Currently have a 11yr old Staffy x Lab which I have had since she was 8 weeks old. Passionate about animals, also a horse owner and I love the outdoors and long walks. Pet care fits into my daily life well. I live a 5 minute walk from Morecambe promenade. Plenty of walking available in the surrounding villages and towns. I am a nurse who is lucky enough to have a flexible rotation. So have plenty of opportunities to work both as a nurse and a dog sitter. Pets that come to stay follow the same routine as they would in their normal environment. Home from home experience. “I am always a little concerned leaving Lola with anyone. As she didn't have a good start in life. I had a very good feeling on our first meeting with Ian and Tracy. I immediately felt at ease as they clearly experienced and comfortable with dogs. They have two dogs of their own and Lola was happy to be with them. I always feel a little nervous and guilty when we go away. So to have someone like Ian and Tracy who reassures you, that she will be well looked after, gives you peace of mind. Excellent communication received, with regular updates and photos, this all helped us. About: We have had a dog in our family for the last 15 years....minus a few years after we lost our beloved Collie cross Sam. We are used to have small and large dogs in the family and both our boys love dogs. We live a 10 minute walk from the beach and round the corner from large fields for ball chasing. We would love to welcome your dog into our home and we have a very large fenced garden for them to play in too. I work full time but 3 days from home. We do have our own dog that I take care of too so your pet will have a friend. Walks are at 7am...on the school run...lunchtime and evening before bed so your pet will have plenty of exercise. I have a large fenced garden with a lot of space for exercise and can also crate your pet if needed for comfort. They will get a lot of love and attention.

About: I’ve had dogs since being a young girl. A recent bereavement of my old boy has left me with lots of time and love on my hands to offer your fur babies. From being a puppy my daughter and I attended, puppy training classes for socialisation and then agility training as he got older. As he slowed down during his golden years, as a family you have to adapt to their needs as they slow down 😔 do have experience from puppies to senior years. I’m currently not working, so apart from appointments that I have to attend, I am at home all of the time. My weekends are usually free too. My house is very calm, quiet and relaxed for your dog to come in and out as they please with a patio area and safe fenced area. I can provide toys for fun and enrichment and a warm home from home space for rest. I have a fenced garden that is secure. I also have a grassy area opposite the house for good sniffs if you require me to take your dog out to stretch their legs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
