About: I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day. I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.

“Excellent, would highly recommend! We came to the lakes for a few days for our daughter’s wedding and to take away a bit of the pressure our two went for an overnight stay with Kat. They came back very happy and not stressed in the slightest. Kat sent photos showing them chilled, snoozing and very settled which made us know we had made the right choice. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.

Katrina looked after our working cocker and she exceeded all expectations! She provided regular ‘pupdates’ including pictures of him out having fun! The little guy had such a great time and actually looked sad when we got him in the car to leave! Thank you so much and I know chef can’t until his next sleepover - can’t recommend highly enough!
Katrina was great. She kept me up to date every day with photos and was very flexible with times and even asked about things like leaving the dog by himself for an hour. Her daughter also did some training with my dog. Clearly Katrina had a lot of love and respect for dogs and I’d recommend her to anyone
