About: I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day. I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.

About: Very experienced dog trainer and behaviourist, with large rescue organisation for over 10 years. Avid dog lover, and previous dog mum to a sassy Daxi called Tilly. Countryside living in Cumbria, with both walks on the doorstep, and the fells a short drive away for those more adventurous paws! Dog got a few 'quirks'? Rest assured, ive seen em all! Positive training methods and vibes all the way! :) I am currently on a career break, so the world is my oyster at the moment. I enjoy getting out and about most days, so having a pooch to join me would be great! I understand every dog is different, so am able to adapt to each individual in order to meet both their, and your needs. I have a mature garden, which is full of lots of smells and room for adventures. the majority of it is enclosed, with some small gaps beneath some decking- however, I am more than happy to keep your pooch on a long line, and supervised at all times. I have multiple rooms, if your dog requires separating at certain times etc. I have space for crates etc. I am happy to accommodate your dog on the furniture, or on the bed if this makes them feel more at ease. I have access to a woodland which is not open to the public, so if your dog requires quieter walks away from the public, or other dogs, this can be accommodated easily.

From messages, which reassured me that she was professional, friendly and knew what she was doing, to the day itself. Arlo had not met Lourdes before and he settled quickly, and had a lovely day with her. She took extra care with the hot weather to give him some outside time in a shaded area by the lake, and kept us updated with regular photos. He had a lovely time. I cannot recommend her highly enough and should we be back in the Lakes we will definitely use again.”
