“We couldn't ask for anything more from our cat sitter. Aimee stepped in, at the last minute, and looked after our pusses wonderfully well. We can definitely recommend.”

“Ellie is great with dogs, having grown up with dogs herself she understands what pets need and is fully committed to providing that. When she says she will do something, she will do it in its entirety, there’ll be no last minute changes of plan with Ellie. She is also very active so you can rest assured that your dog will be tired out when they get back to you and will have had plenty of walks. I know that Ellie cares for my dog as if it were her own so I would absolutely recommend her to anyone :)”

About: I have always lived and cared for dogs and am comfortable with large and small breeds. From a young age I have had large breeds with a variety of personalities - so am well experienced with all kinds of behaviour from dogs. I love walking in the mountains, and would love a companion to take on my walks, but am also open to smaller breeds that can keep me company at home. I am fortunate enough to work from home 2 days a week so am also able to offer overnight stays during the week. All week days are available upon request. I can be flexible and try to accommodate your specific needs. I am able to work from home during the week if required and am therefore able to offer weekend and weekday overnight stays. I live in the Lake District with plenty of lovely walking routes. I also have a fenced garden so your dog can play in the garden. I have one small cat, called Nala. She is a timid cat and will likely stay out or stay upstairs away from the dog, but she is harmless. Please provide your dogs bed so I can ensure they feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have grown up with dogs and other animals so i believe i have a good range of knowledge when it comes down to animals. I love being around animals, and looking after them. It’s so rewarding knowing that animals are loved the way humans are I currently work a part-time job so i’m semi flexible when it comes down to looking after your pets! I don’t work Tuesdays or Fridays (unless requested otherwise) so i’m completely free then. As for the weekends, i only work 4 hours per day, so im usually available all day saturday until 5pm and all day Sunday after 1:30pm I have a fenced yard at my home, with locks on the gate so precious pets will not be able to go on an independent adventure! I have an outside hot and cold hose so if for any reason your pet gets mucky, with permission, i will be able to give your pet a good wash down. All of my downstairs is completely hard floor so anything is mopped up with ease!

About: I grew up being surrounded by doggos ! I would often help my nan with the retired greyhounds she would rescue (at one point I think there was around 8) we also had numerous furry family members growing up , whippets, Italian greyhounds & shitzus to name a few! We now have our Sprocker (springer x cocker spaniel) Charlie who is 6 years old and the centre of our world. He has separation anxiety so isnt keen on being left alone for any period of time - this is something we have learned to manage and have experience in. I am currently enrolled in a dog first aid course. I also have my own private pet sitter insurance with PetPlan Sanctuary to give you extra peace of mind. We are around weekends generally out walking with Charlie for at least 2 hours. Tues-Thurs I am available after 4pm and Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I am available all day (work from home days are Monday and Friday). I only ever walk one dog at a time (solo walks only) I am able to look after your dogs within your own home to ensure their normal routine is not affected, I am happy to sleep wherever is best suited for your family & your dog and happy to follow any guidelines you set out to make your pets life more comfortable while you are gone. When allowing someone into your home to look after your family member it is so important to me we are all a good match and I fit your needs - for this reason a meet and greet is essential prior to any home boarding.

About: I’ve always had pets since I was a young child… hamsters, gerbils, rabbits & even a pot bellied pig!! I have always had a love for dogs since I was a child, and have always been around them, I still have a family dog who lives with my parents, he is a 10 year old terrier mix who is very loveable but boisterous, we have had him since in was 3 months old. I absolutely love animals but due to my busy work schedule I can’t commit to a dog of my own, so this seems like the perfect option for me, to car for others when they need it I currently work full time, and I work until 6pm so I will be available most evenings and my days off, during annual leave I will be available full time I have a good sized garden which is fenced and very secure, currently no pets & no children at home and I live on a quiet estate

About: I've always loved animals and have been taking care of them from a young age although more formally 15 years ago. I have trained my own/other dogs over the years and am experienced with reactive dogs. First of all, I will always discuss pet care with you to best understand their needs. I love spending my time caring for different animals and am very lucky to be trusted with looking after so many different fun furry friends. I have no other pets (or children) in the home so your fur baby will be my 100% focus! I am passionate about creating the safest and happiest environment for your pets.
12. Kirsten T.
About: I volunteer with a local rescue. I have trained gun dogs from puppies and have a passion for providing specific breed needs. I am comfortable with all breeds and am more than happy to adapt to each individual. I have a very flexible job so am able to fit this into my day to day life whenever needed, and for any length of time. At my core, I love all animals so they will be treated with care, love and lots of snuggles (if they are happy for this). I pride myself on treating others’ pets as I would wish for someone to care for mine. Following owners wishes to the best of my ability and providing care that is exceptional and so your pet will hope I come back!
13. Laura F.
“Laura has looked after my dog several times and sometimes this can be at short notice. My dog has always been happy to go. Laura has always enjoyed the outdoors and will often take her dogs out on long walks for a good amount of exercise and to burn off some energy. I would recommend Laura to anyone who is looking for someone who cares and will give their dogs love and attention.”
