1. Catherine L.
“Catherine did a wonderful job caring for my dog whilst I was away. She had fantastic communication and gave me daily updates on how my dog was settling in. I was completely at ease knowing that my dog was happy, getting lots of walks and cuddles. My dog even learnt a new trick! I would highly recommend Catherine and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

2. Keira T.
“Keira is so lovely. Always provides the best care for my Millie. She absolutely adores going on walks with her. She’s very flexible to my needs and always reliable. Couldn’t recommend her more! Thank you for everything you do for me and Mil’s.”

3. Courtney H.

“Courtney looked after Boba and Matcha on our wedding day! I was worried about Boba because he was ill and Matcha (kitten) is still a new addition to the family. Their feeding schedule can be fussy too but Courtney was very eager to learn their routine. Im so grateful to you. The video you sent of Matcha was the funniest! Will rebook soon 🥰”

4. Lucy W.
“Can highly recommend Lucy to care and cherish your pet. She cares for our precious boy. He's a Cockapoo and hopefully will continue to look after him when we need him to be happy and safe and we can relax.”

5. Chloe J.
About: Hi. We are Chloe and Josh, a couple in our 20's, and Hugo, a 1 year old, neutered silver miniature poodle. We adore dogs and always have. Having been members of borrowmydoggy, and trustedhousesitters prior to getting our own dog, we know all about ensuring an environment that matches the one your pup is coming from. We are aware that different dogs have different rules, and we like to keep to the same schedule you would at home to ensure minimal disruption. This means feeding at the same time, walking at the same time where possible, and ensuring the same sleeping arrangements (dogs are allowed on the sofas and beds here!) Dogs must be happy with other dogs as we have Hugo here. I work from home full time, and Josh does 2 out 5 days at home, so there's usually always someone around. On the odd occasion that dogs have to be left, it is never for more than 3-4 hours. We are happy to crate, or leave free roaming (providing house trained and not destructive). We have two crates here, of different sizes, so you wouldn't need to worry about bringing that with you. Whilst we are all about routine, I would always recommend bringing the familiar items that make your dog think of home - beds, toys, blankets etc (although we have a lot spare so no worries if you forgot!) We provide photos and videos of your pup, alongside a pup postcard (if boarding) upon your return, so you can hear about all the fun things your pup got up to on their holiday. We are based in Askam, off the Duddon Estuary. Any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. I work from home and Josh does too for half of the week. Our mornings start early (05:30) where we usually let the dogs out for a toilet break in the secured garden. We then have a quick lunchtime walk (20 - 25 mins) and then after work, a nice long walk. We mix it up, and sometimes will be on the beach, other times on the pier, and sometimes up around the lakes. We are used to catering for our dog, and sometimes friends dogs, so we are used to the dogs running our schedule! We have a grassy garden that is fenced and gated on all sides. We have our dog who will happily play with any dog visitors. We don't have children and have very few visitors to the property so is quite quiet for any nervous pups. We also have the beach on our doorstep and the lakes and hills down the road. Happy to let dogs sleep on the bed/the sofa/their own bed/their crate - whatever you do at home, we can replicate!

6. Daniel C.
About: We have had multiple dogs since a young age, and have had my dog for over a year - he is friendly and good with other dogs I work from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday every week, and walks the dog twice a day, with multiple play breaks throughout the day. On weekends I get out to the lakes with the dog at every opportunity Our back garden is completely secure and when the weather is nice the door is always open for the dog to come and go from the garden as he wants

7. Heidi R.
About: Hi, I’m Heidi. I have been qualified as a veterinary nurse for 5 years and I have worked in practice for over 10. I have always grown up with animals from cats and dogs to horses and small furries. I am also an ultra runner. I spend a lot of time out running the trails and I love running with dogs! My main focus is getting out running with those dogs that are higher energy. I am confident with large breed dogs and used to handling/ running with them. My years of vet nursing mean that I am able to look after all dogs and their individual needs. I’m currently reducing my hours with work and so have a lot more free time! This means I will have plenty of time for dog walks/ runs and I also have a lot of availability for pet sitting/ daily check ins. I will always look after your pet like it is one of my own. I will follow all set instructions left for their daily routine/ needs.
