About: I have always lived and cared for dogs and am comfortable with large and small breeds. From a young age I have had large breeds with a variety of personalities - so am well experienced with all kinds of behaviour from dogs. I love walking in the mountains, and would love a companion to take on my walks, but am also open to smaller breeds that can keep me company at home. I am fortunate enough to work from home 2 days a week so am also able to offer overnight stays during the week. All week days are available upon request. I can be flexible and try to accommodate your specific needs. I am able to work from home during the week if required and am therefore able to offer weekend and weekday overnight stays. I live in the Lake District with plenty of lovely walking routes. I also have a fenced garden so your dog can play in the garden. I have one small cat, called Nala. She is a timid cat and will likely stay out or stay upstairs away from the dog, but she is harmless. Please provide your dogs bed so I can ensure they feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have primarily been brought up around cats but over the last 8 years, I have been around and have learned to love dogs just as much through friends, family and neighbours. I have dog sat on a number of occasions for friends and family over the last 4-5 years. Including 3 dogs that have come back to me for long periods of time. You’ll see from the photos above that these dogs are Pippa the Beagle, Tilly the Yorkshire Terrier and Marley the Labrador. If you make a request, I may have on of these dogs with me as they make frequent visits. I love all pets and I would take good care of yours as though they are my own. I live on my own so taking care of your animals provides me with some wonderful company, so you’d be helping me just as much as I’d be helping you. I currently live on my own in a lodge in Cartmel, where I am allowed to keep pets. I do work as a healthcare assistant, working nearby in Grange. In my working weeks I would work two days on and two days off with a 3 and a half day weekend every other weekend. My working days involve a lot of breaks throughout the day that I would never be out of the house for more than three hours (max) at a time. My breaks can be as small as 30 minutes and as long as 4-5 hours, which would still give me plenty of time to give your dog a good lengthy walk as well as spending relaxing time with them. If you have any questions on this please do not hesitate to ask. On my days off your dog would get my full attention. All I ask is that you provide me with all items needed to care for your pets such as food, bowls and beds. I ask for this so that they can have some familiar surroundings in my home, however I do have back ups if needed. I only accept well-behaved and trained pets. I have a small unfenced garden at the side of the lodge that I live in, where I will let dogs out, on a lead, for a quick toilet break first thing in the morning and just before bedtime. I'm located in Carmel, so I have some fantastic dog walking routes on my door step. I would plan to walk your dog as frequently as is required for as long as they need, if you could just provide me with their usual routine I will work around your dogs needs. I currently live on my own, with no other pets so your pet wouldn't be disturbed by others.

About: I’ve always grown up with pets, looking after them from a very young age. I’ve Had my dog 5 years therefore, looked after and trained him for those. He mainly walks off the lead (bar busy roads which I tend to avoid) and can do various tricks. I’m working away from home and extremely miss him that’s what I want to give my love for him and animals by looking after your child (dog). I’m working full time and live in staff accommodation. My shift patterns vary from mornings, late evenings, split shifts and full days. I’m on a weekly rota and can update availability accordingly. For the past 10 years I’ve at least had 2 cats in my family home and for the past 5 my dog, having to take care of them on a daily basis. I’ve had to take them to vet appointments, give them medication and tend to their basic needs. I’m offering to house sit (at yours) and walk your loved pets simply because I am unable to have them at mine due to unsuitable conditions and company policy. I also believe pets are much more comfortable in their own environments especially when meeting a new person. I will always ask you their usual routine/needs and stick to this as close I can to suit your pet best.

About: Although I don’t have my own dog, I’ve had lots of experience walking and caring for friends and family’s dogs over the years. I love all dogs and animals and I’m very active so your dog will have lots of nice walks and play time with me. I work part time but my dad works full time from home so on the days I’m working he will be able to help with the care of your dog taking them out for regular walks, toilet trips and lots of cuddles and attention. I have a large house and garden for your dog to explore but I also love walking and hiking so if your dog has energy I’d love to take them out for a walk on the fells. I can give them lots of one to one attention and cuddles. There is no other animals in the house, so they will get undivided love and attention.
