About: I’ve cared for dogs since I was 8, looking after our family dog daily. For the past two years, I’ve regularly cared for my boyfriend’s puppy, including solo walks, holidays together, and plenty daily walks, even on the beach! I truly love dogs and, after losing my own, I want to share that love by helping others care for theirs. I’m careful, attentive, and very aware of my surroundings on walks. I live close to many beautiful short and long walking routes in the lakes and have both a large, secure garden and a safely fenced courtyard for dogs. I have a flexible part-time job and work self-employed two days a week, so my availability can often be adjusted. I’m available most weekday evenings and usually every other weekend and I’m always happy to work out what’s best for you and your dog. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritise trust, attention, and enjoyable walks! Nothing was too much trouble and we felt as though he treat Bertie as his own which gave us great peace of mind when we left him. He kept us up to date with loads of great photos and updates. We were reassured that Bertie had his medication on time. Cannot recommend Pete highly enough and we will definitely use him again in the future.”

About: I have experience of dog walking and caring for a dog old and young, as I've always had a dog from a young age. I have some experience of caring for cats young and old also. I currently work part-time and am available most days in the morning and afternoon and evening for dog walking. Dog boarding on Sundays to Tuesday. At my home I have a medium sized dog crate, dog toys, bowls, blankets and a secure back yard. I would feed, walk and play with your pet as needed.

“If you’ve got a reactive dog, you can be sure they’ll be well looked after with Reece and Lucy! In the past I’ve been so worried about leaving my cocker spaniel with sitters, but from the moment we met I could see how much these two really care about dogs and therefore would prioritise Otis’ comfort, looking out for him and having plans in place for moments where he might have gotten stressed. It turns out this was barely needed as clearly Otis felt right at home from the off, and he didn’t have a single moment of reactivity the whole weekend - which is amazing and absolutely testament to the great care that he was shown. I felt really relaxed about leaving Otis with Reece and Lucy, and I’d 100% do this again. Great comms before and during Otis’ stay too. Thank you both!!”

About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy while in my care. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping to their usual routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. I'm flexible and can usually accommodate your dog's normal routine, helping them feel settled and comfortable while they're with us. Your dog will be part of the pack in our home from home environment. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. We have a loving family home with three children—two teenagers and an eight-year-old who has grown up around animals and is always gentle and respectful. We also have two friendly, dog-tolerant cats, so any dogs staying with us will need to be comfortable around cats and children. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. I only accept dogs that I feel will be happy and comfortable in our home environment. This helps ensure a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for your dog, our family and our own pets. To determine this, we always like to have a visit from you and your dog to our home. We just want to be as sure as we can that everyone is going to be happy during their stay!
“Stacey was fantastic. Brilliant communication, pictures and videos. Harry was the most relaxed I’ve ever seen him, he is high energy and doesn’t like to be on his own much. The training Stacey did with him during his stay has improved his temperament. She is a real animal lover and Harry was treated as one of her own. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. I don’t think Harry wanted to leave! 5 stars, thank you Stacey 😊”
