“I am always a little concerned leaving Lola with anyone. As she didn't have a good start in life. I had a very good feeling on our first meeting with Ian and Tracy. I immediately felt at ease as they clearly experienced and comfortable with dogs. They have two dogs of their own and Lola was happy to be with them. I always feel a little nervous and guilty when we go away. So to have someone like Ian and Tracy who reassures you, that she will be well looked after, gives you peace of mind. Excellent communication received, with regular updates and photos, this all helped us. Lola had lots of walks and play time, she was very happy and relaxed when we picked her up. ` I will definitely be using Ian and Tracy again. I highly recommend them for dog boarding. Thank you again.”

“Thanks Reece for taking care of our little dog Teddy at short notice. Ted seemed entirely at home, and I appreciated that she had company all day, getting to explore the garden, snooze on the beds and even get a little walk - Reece was great at providing updates and photos, and super friendly.”

About: I’m a passionate dog lover with 2 years of hands-on pet care experience! My friend is a veterinarian who has taught me many useful tips for keeping pets healthy and happy. I know basic training, leash walking, and good outdoor habits. I’ve cared for three wonderful dogs: a 6-year-old Shepherd who visits me every two months for a week, a sweet Teddy who stayed with me for two weeks, and a playful 2-month-old puppy who I’ve showered with love and patience. Every dog I meet becomes my friend—I care for them as if they were my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule since I’m not working full-time, which means I have plenty of time and energy to devote to caring for your pets. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll be there whenever your furry friend needs me. Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I carefully follow all instructions from pet parents and provide personalized care based on your pet’s unique needs. Whether in my home or yours, I create a safe, clean, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and loved.
“Another lovely booking with Sarah, this time for daycare. Pictures showed how at home Herbie feels in her home and he was very keen to get in the house this morning! Thank you again for looking after him so well 😊”

“Victoria has been great! She was communicating very well whilst looking after our dog and Bonnie (our dog) had a great time. She settled in straight away and she was happy as ever. Highly recommend Victoria!”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who genuinely misses having a dog around after losing my beloved pup of 8 years last year. I am looking to bring that same level of care, patience, and warmth to looking after your dogs and cats! I work from home most of the time, but because my schedule involves occasional travel, I offer flexible, ad-hoc visits rather than fixed weekly commitments. Working from home most of the time makes hosting doggy daycare a fantastic win-win—it gives me great company during the workday while providing your pet with lots of affection! Because I travel occasionally, I offer flexible, ad-hoc daycare and evening drop-ins rather than fixed weekly commitments, plus occasional weekend visits. Note: Open to occasionally hosting small, well-behaved dogs during WFH days! Having owned a dog for 8 years and worked in a cattery for 2 years, safety and calm handling are my top priorities. I treat every pet owner's home with total respect, closely follow your specific feeding and care routines, and provide attentive, low-stress care tailored to your pet.
“Captain and Luca had a super day. We felt very confident that they would be well looked after and it was definitely the case. We loved seeing the pictures and they were so relaxed when they came home. They can't wait to stay again. Thank you!”

About: I grew up around animals and have a love for dogs and cats in particular although I have been known to cuddle a piglet or a bearded dragon at times! I have always had one or two dogs as an adult. A house just feels empty without them. My love of animals motivated me to complete a degree in animal behaviour. This gave me a really good insight into canine behaviour and the ability to look at a situation from a dogs perspective, this has been invaluable at times. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, from energetic young dogs to older pets who need a calmer, more gentle approach. I understand that every dog is an individual and I pay particular attention to how the dynamics between the dogs change when they are living together so that we can keep everyone happy. I always take the time to learn their routine, preferences and needs so they feel safe, comfortable and happy while in my care. I can also carry on training habits or administer medication whilst they are with us. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping to their usual routine, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. My partner Mandy and I are both working from home at the moment so there will be someone available most of the time for back door opening, company and cuddles. I'm flexible and can usually accommodate your dog's normal routine, helping them feel settled and comfortable while they're with us. Your dog will be part of the pack in our home from home environment. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. We have a loving family home with three children—two teenagers and an eight-year-old who has grown up around animals and is always gentle and respectful. We also have two friendly, dog-tolerant cats, so any dogs staying with us will need to be comfortable around cats and children. Outside, we have a securely fenced area of the garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors. In the summer, they have access to their own paddling pool. We also have a larger garden for exercise and play, although this area isn't fully escape-proof, so adventurous dogs with a talent for finding gaps may need to stay on a lead or enjoy the secure area instead. I always tailor each dog's access to outdoor spaces based on their personality and level of recall to keep them safe. I only accept dogs that I feel will be happy and comfortable in our home environment. This helps ensure a safe, relaxed and enjoyable experience for your dog, our family and our own pets. To determine this, we always like to have a visit from you and your dog to our home. We just want to be as sure as we can that everyone is going to be happy during their stay!

“Adam has been brilliant with Lily. She can be quite an anxious dog, especially around new people and places, but Adam has taken real care to make her feel welcome and settled. The extra effort he's put in to build her trust hasn't gone unnoticed and it's made such a difference. Highly recommend — thank you Adam!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young child. I have always had multiple pets. I am an ex police officer, so you know you can trust me in your home. I’m confident, friendly and reliable. I am extremely flexible and willing to change my day around to meet the needs of you and your pet. Any questions/requests just ask me! I am confident with animals and very trustworthy. I intend on keeping the owner updated with pictures and discussions about their pets throughout my visit

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have two cats of my own and have spent years walking and looking after family dogs, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. Whether it’s a daily walk, playtime, or daytime check ins, I treat every pet as if they were my own—offering reliability, patience, and plenty of love. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, as I am available in the evenings on weekdays, from 1PM onwards on Fridays, and all day on weekends. This flexibility allows me to provide regular walks, drop-in visits, and pet-sitting services while ensuring each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s an evening stroll or weekend care, I am committed to accommodating the needs of both pets and their owners. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a pet owner’s home. I create a calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment by following any specific instructions regarding feeding, routines, and special needs. I always ensure dogs are walked in safe areas, on a leash unless otherwise instructed, and keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. In a pet owner’s home, I respect their space, maintain cleanliness, and provide regular updates to give peace of mind. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

About: I have experience of dog walking and caring for a dog old and young, as I've always had a dog from a young age. I have some experience of caring for cats young and old also. I currently work part-time and am available most days in the morning and afternoon and evening for dog walking. Dog boarding on Sundays to Tuesday. About: I'd like to just be clear that I am located in Askam in Furness, but due to the way I have set my service radius, I appear to live in Windermere. I am still happy to travel for overnight sits, but can only manage drop ins and walks near to Askam in Furness. I've provided lots of care for pets (mainly dogs, cats, rabbits and fish) of friends and family over the years from the odd walk to overnight house sits and have my own 12 year old cat at home. I've been sitting on Rover off and on for a couple of years now. I'm caring, patient and attentive and like plenty of information about your pet before a sit so that I can provide the best care for them. I enjoy being outside and like to spend free time exploring to new places, swimming or paddle boarding. I work locally and mostly remotely but have to go into the office every now and again. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm able to adapt my work day to keep to a pets routine. I'm fit and healthy and enjoy being outdoors so getting out for walks and exercise with a pet is no problem, and I have plenty of time for feeding, cleaning and play time! I provide pet-centred care. I like lots of details from a pet owner on their pet's routines and preferences so that I can try to make sure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible so they feel happy and comfortable with me, and this seems to have worked really well in the past! I'm by no means an expert behaviourist but I think I have a decent grasp of the ways pets communicate and can usually work out what they want/need at the time! I understand that simply not having their owner/parent around can be inherently stressful for some pets, so I do like to stick to established routines where possible and add in extra fun stuff - whether that's a drive or walk to somewhere new for new sights and smells, a trip to pets at home to get a new toy, or a good play session at home! I'll keep in regular contact with you, providing updates, asking questions if I need to, and sending pictures so you know your pet is happy and in good hands!
About: Hi! I'm an engineering PhD student finishing my thesis and have just moved, looking to spend my breaks exploring the areas via walks, and weekends helping out local pet owners. Why choose me: •Lifelong Owner: Grew up with miniature schnauzers, currently own a rehomed cockapoo, and have two cats. Very experienced with both dogs and cats. •Medical Needs: My previous dogs had complex health issues, so I’m comfortable administering medications and following strict routines. •Responsible & Routine-Driven: My research background means I’m organised and reliable. I offer lunch-break walks and drop-ins on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, I’m fully flexible with open availability for morning, afternoon, or evening visits. I don’t offer care in my own home. For walks and drop-ins, I ensure security by double-checking locks, securing gates, keeping dogs safely on-lead, and following your household safety routines.

About: I have had family dogs since I was 4 years old. I was brought up in a house of animal lovers, and have always loved dogs especially. I have looked after and cared for lots of friends dogs in the past, and now would like to make a bit of additional income out of doing it, whilst also spending time with the best animals on the planet! I love walking and I am very active, so walking dogs isn't a problem. The family dog (Basil) has gone blind sadly so I have been helping look after him, so I have experience with this. I have also looked after different breeds of dogs, so I am prepared to look after a variety of different breeds. I have also dealt with dogs with anxiety, and ADHD, so feel I have experience supporting and caring for dogs in that area. I am a very kind, gentle person, who loves giving dogs attention and tummy rubs! My spirit animal is also a golden retriever if that helps! I work full time Monday-Friday, although finish at midday on Fridays. So I will be available most evenings to help walk or look after the dog, or during lunches also as I WFH a lot of the week so can pop out and walk the dogs no bother! I also have plenty of time and capacity free on the weekends for house sittings and to walk and look after your dogs whilst you are away. Always keep an eye out on my pets, make sure they are happy and relaxed. Give them plenty of fuss. I like to play with them as I know it is good for them. It is good to stimulate them so hiding treats around the room and getting them to find them and sniff them out is good for them. Plenty of cuddles. Giving them space and leaving them to relax if they are tired and resting. Watching out for any warning signs of stress or anxiety. Also reading the signs of when they need to go out to the toilet! Making them feel safe, secure, relaxed by acting calm around them. Not raising my voice or shouting, speaking to them in a positive tone and tell them they are a good boy/girl is my fave thing!
About: I have always absolutely loved animals especially dogs. I have grown up around all different breeds of dogs and I currently have two cocker spaniels who are crazy but I have so much love for them. I am confident with feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship, as well as following specific routines and instructions from owners. I understand the importance of keeping dogs safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away, and I am patient, reliable, and attentive to their individual needs. Whether it’s energetic dogs that need plenty of exercise or older dogs that require a calmer approach, I am comfortable adapting to provide the best care possible. I currently work part time so I will have so much fee time to spend with your dogs!! On a day to day usually I am caring for my two dogs and taking them on lots of walks. I am always making sure my pets are healthy and in a safe environment especially when my own dog loves to pick up rubbish everywhere she goes🫣

“We left Teddy with Lidia for two days while we attended a wedding. Lidia and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. He was well looked after, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a lovely place for their dog to stay.”

“If you’ve got a reactive dog, you can be sure they’ll be well looked after with Reece and Lucy! In the past I’ve been so worried about leaving my cocker spaniel with sitters, but from the moment we met I could see how much these two really care about dogs and therefore would prioritise Otis’ comfort, looking out for him and having plans in place for moments where he might have gotten stressed. It turns out this was barely needed as clearly Otis felt right at home from the off, and he didn’t have a single moment of reactivity the whole weekend - which is amazing and absolutely testament to the great care that he was shown. I felt really relaxed about leaving Otis with Reece and Lucy, and I’d 100% do this again. Great comms before and during Otis’ stay too. Thank you both!!”

“Hollie looked after our 1 year old Lab Max for close to 10 days while we were on holiday. Max loved being at her home with her dogs and family and he was very well looked after in our absence. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Max with her again and recommend her whole-heartedly.”

“Sarge absolutely loved his time with Lauren, he made himself at home straight away and Lauren sent lots of pupdates, it was so reassuring to know that Sarge was comfortable and being well looked after. I wish I lived more locally because I’d have a dog sitter for life with Lauren if I could. Thank you so much!”

“Superb, Five star plus. Kat understood that Islay our Welsh Springer was getting on and would find separation from us difficult. Kat absolutely put our mind to rest with her caring manner from the first minute we met. Kat let us tss as ke a look round her home and especially the garden which was very secure. During our time away Kat supplied a few photo which was very much appreciated. On pickup Islay was happy that I’m not sure she wanted to leave. We would have ni issues with booking Kat again.”

“This is the first time Oakley had been away from home and we were extremely anxious. We shouldn't have been as he was well looked after and fitted right in with her own dog.”

“My old boy is a rescue, naturally distrustful due to previous people who had him, and can be quite shy, especially since his mom passed away a year ago. Well, a week with Cherise and he's now howling away happily! I was kept up to date and pictures and videos were sent. I was very nervous as I had never left him with a stranger for long periods before. She made all that anxiety and fear dissipate in seconds. We will DEFINITELY book again”
