About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.
About: I have had family dogs since I was 4 years old. I was brought up in a house of animal lovers, and have always loved dogs especially. I have looked after and cared for lots of friends dogs in the past, and now would like to make a bit of additional income out of doing it, whilst also spending time with the best animals on the planet! I love walking and I am very active, so walking dogs isn't a problem. The family dog (Basil) has gone blind sadly so I have been helping look after him, so I have experience with this. I have also looked after different breeds of dogs, so I am prepared to look after a variety of different breeds. I have also dealt with dogs with anxiety, and ADHD, so feel I have experience supporting and caring for dogs in that area. I am a very kind, gentle person, who loves giving dogs attention and tummy rubs! My spirit animal is also a golden retriever if that helps! I work full time Monday-Friday, although finish at midday on Fridays. So I will be available most evenings to help walk or look after the dog, or during lunches also as I WFH a lot of the week so can pop out and walk the dogs no bother! I also have plenty of time and capacity free on the weekends for house sittings and to walk and look after your dogs whilst you are away. Always keep an eye out on my pets, make sure they are happy and relaxed. Give them plenty of fuss. I like to play with them as I know it is good for them. It is good to stimulate them so hiding treats around the room and getting them to find them and sniff them out is good for them. Plenty of cuddles. Giving them space and leaving them to relax if they are tired and resting. Watching out for any warning signs of stress or anxiety. Also reading the signs of when they need to go out to the toilet! Making them feel safe, secure, relaxed by acting calm around them. Not raising my voice or shouting, speaking to them in a positive tone and tell them they are a good boy/girl is my fave thing!
About: I have always absolutely loved animals especially dogs. I have grown up around all different breeds of dogs and I currently have two cocker spaniels who are crazy but I have so much love for them. I am confident with feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship, as well as following specific routines and instructions from owners. I understand the importance of keeping dogs safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away, and I am patient, reliable, and attentive to their individual needs. Whether it’s energetic dogs that need plenty of exercise or older dogs that require a calmer approach, I am comfortable adapting to provide the best care possible. I currently work part time so I will have so much fee time to spend with your dogs!! On a day to day usually I am caring for my two dogs and taking them on lots of walks. About: I have been a self employed dog walker for 5 years, prior to that I worked at a dog day care centre for 3 years and did 2 years volunteer work at a dog kennels. Whilst working at the day care centre, I have spent 2 years driving round picking up dogs from their homes, including using keys owners had given us. I have a level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management which i got at Newton Rigg College, where I gained a lot of experience with dogs. I just love dogs so much and just want to spend as much time as possible with them. I will come and walk your dog, i offer a long walk or a short walk, it all depends on what you want. I am currently doing a canine communication diploma and have signed up for a behaviour and training course. I am a self employed dog walker, and do pet sitting aswell, so I can change my schedule quite easily to fit in all work.
