1. Helen P.

“I can’t recommend Helen highly enough. She looked after our excitable young working cocker spaniel beautifully. He was calm and happy when we picked him up and had obviously had a lovely time. Helen was careful to ask us exactly how we wanted Ernie to be cared for and gave him lots of walks and attention. He lapped it up. I loved having the regular updates and pictures which helped me relax knowing he was so happy and well cared for.”

5. Shania B.
About: I have helped friends and family with their pets starting during the pandemic including, rabbits, cats and dogs and later on, even ducks, chickens and Alpacas! I am experienced in basic dog first aid, and i also have a car to take your pet to the very in any emergency too. I have a dog of my own and have been the main care giver, walker and trainer for her for the first two years, now she is a family dog and looked after by everyone! I love doing research on your dogs breads, but I would love to get to know them personally too! I do work 3 full days during the week, on Monday, Thursday and Friday. I cannot to drop in visits or dog walking on those days but I can look after your pet overnight, which is shown in my calendar availability. I have 2 religious meetings, on a Tuesday evening and a Sunday. I would like to know the safety of your own home, which will help me understand what your pet will do in my own home, such as, is your dog allowed in the garden or to go up to the fences? Is your garden all fenced in? Has your dog ever escaped before? Is there any rooms in the house he/she is not allowed in? Or any furniture they aren’t allowed on? I want your pet to feel comfortable and not unsettled, does your pet get anxious when you leave the house at all? My own garden is fenced in and has an occasional visit from the neighbours cat too. It has plenty of grass space to run around.

6. Alexandra B.

“What a wonderful sitter! I’ve never felt so confident leaving Lily with anyone. Lily’s a feisty old dachshund, and can take a moment(!) to warm to new people. It took her no more than 10 seconds to feel safe and trust Alex, and you don’t get a higher compliment than that”

7. Karina K.

“This was the first time we have let someone we didn't know look after Luna. Karina was caring and supportive of us and Luna throughout the process. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.”

8. Natalia K.

“My 2 dogs both enjoyed their stay with Natalia and her partner for 2 nights. They instantly felt at home and safe with them and could sense their kindness and careful attention. They were very thoughtful and careful about my younger dog who has health problems. They have a lovely, well-behaved red setter called Bonny whom my dogs enjoyed meeting. Their house was super-clean and tidy. They were very obliging and flexible and they communicated promptly. I would be very happy to send my dogs there again.”

9. Holly C.

“Holly was fantastic. She took our pup at the last minute for the weekend. Lots of pictures and updates. Skye enjoyed playing and lots of walks! Thank you so much. It was great to know she was in good hands!”

10. Adam S.

“Adam and his partner were absolutely excellent with our puppy, Joy. I had a good feeling about them because of their experience over the years and so we drove an hour in the opposite direction to drop Joy off so that we could rest assured that she was in safe hands and she absolutely was. They kept us informed on how she was doing and sent us pictures, they even took her for a walk at Lowther castle. Joy came back really happy. We will definitely be booking them again! Thank you!”

About: Taken care of pets as long as I can remember always been around dogs have 2 labradors who are the most friendly dogs and have had other dogs in past During week I'm working but on weekend my schedule is always open and usually home all weekend so would get plenty of attention and walk and playtime So we have converted under the stairs so they have a closed off space but also normally just let our dogs wander round and sleep on the sofas if they prefer and have a large fenced off garden

12. Sarah B.

“Sarah was great, very friendly, accommodating and herself and her family were lovely with Mollie our 10 year old golden doodle. Her property whilst smaller, was secure and fenced. Her 2 year old was boisterous at first but soon settled. Sarah's son and daughter took to Mollie immediately and thus more stokes and cuddles. Sarah sent regular photos to keep us informed and happy that Mollie was safe and enjoying her stay. All good.”

13. Nicole S.
About: I've always had a pet dog since I was a child. I'm now 35 and I am still animal daft as are my children. We are a family of 3. My children are 11 and 13. We live close by many popular dog walking areas. Have experience with fussy eaters as I have a chihuahua who are notorious fussy eaters I work part time hours as my son is autistic. His special interest is animals though and loves nothing more than researching animals and is keen to be a zoologist. Therefore, I have ample time to watch, walk or pop in and play time with your fur babies. I have a fenced garden. I also am seldom away from home unless out walking dog. Therefore your pet will always have company. Both my children have been brought up with dogs to know correct way to behave with dogs and they are older kids.

About: I’m an experienced & responsible dog owner who has had reactive and senior rescue dogs while growing up in the family home, and now a gorgeous golden retriever of my own who I have raised from a pup. I regularly dogsit for a family member’s cockapoo too, all sizes are loved in our house! We also have a great network of dog walking friends with a range of breeds, reactivity and socialisation. I work from home the majority of the week so my typical day is revolved around our three 45 mins - 1hr walks a day, and then plenty of snuggles throughout the day while I work from my laptop. And cosy evenings on the sofa! I work from home and have a fenced garden/safe house environment for your dog to spend the full time with me and my own pet.
