If my availability doesn’t suit, don’t hesitate to send a request or message anyways and I will see what I can do. I have had dogs my whole life, starting with labradors and now border terriers. My own dog Teddy has a diagnosis of epilepsy so I am able to manage dogs with medical conditions well. However I often have spare time on my hands during days off on which I would love to go a walk or help out other dog owners. I can also provide overnight boarding for well behaved, socialised dogs. When in someone else’s home I will respect any instructions given to me. I can bring my own dog on walks (if wanted) to keep company.

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from cats and dogs to horses and pigs. I’ve house-sat for multiple families, ensuring their pets are well cared for and kept in their usual routines while owners are away. I hold a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, which gave me in-depth knowledge of animal health, welfare, behaviour, and husbandry across multiple species. Alongside this, I have experience working in a small animal veterinary practice, where I developed strong skills in recognising signs of illness, supporting senior pets, and assisting with general animal care. I am confident with basic medication administration and maintaining consistent routines for puppies and younger dogs. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve regularly cared for my own pets as well as those of family and friends for many years. I am responsible, reliable, and understand the trust involved in caring for both pets and homes. Pet care is my full-time focus. I run my own business caring for dogs and horses, which means I have full control over my schedule and can plan my days around the animals in my care. Because of this flexibility, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet needs active stimulation, structured exercise, or simply calm company, I can tailor my routine to suit their individual needs.

“Linzi as always does a fantastic job. The cats really take to her and she shows she has a such a nice nature with them. As always brings in any parcels left and even covered our outdoor furniture which had blown off. Always feel happy that they are looked after.”

About: Before moving in with my boyfriend i lived at home with my family and indoor cat Teddy. We have owned many cats and i know a bit about cats due to working as a veterinary receptionist.
About: I have grown up with dogs. My mum used to teach at a puppy school and with her guidance my family has cared for dogs of all ages. As I grew older I learned how to be more involved in caring for our dogs as I was occasionally in charge of walking, feeding and caring for them by myself and would assist my mother with vet visits and training aspects. To this day she remains someone I contact occasionally with questions when dog sitting and through her, I realized what an honor it is to be trusted with caring for someone's pet. Since starting university, I have been able to work as a dog sitter through Rover and looked after various pets, either for short-times when their families went to work or for longer periods when they went on holiday. I am student, which gives me some flexibility when it comes to my weekday schedule. Though I have to attend classes on campus throughout the week, I sometimes have a few hours free in between classes and tend to finish around noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays. No pet I would take care of would have to stay home alone for longer than a few hours and if you have any concerns, feel free to reach out, so I can let you know what my schedule looks like during the time you would need a sitter. On weekends, I can arrange to stay with your pet for the entirety of the visit. I live in student halls, which unfortunately, does not allow pets. Therefore, I am unable to accept bookings for dog boarding and daycare. However, I am more than happy to look after your pet at your place if you are comfortable with that or pick them up for a walk. Please understand I won't unleash your dog unless I have taken care of them for a while and only with your permission. I own a long leash that I have often connected to whatever leash is provided by the owner to maximize the freedom of your dog and there are also some fenced areas at a park nearby where I am comfortable letting dogs roam freely. Please discuss any needs of yours or your pet and I will do my best to accommodate them.
About: Growing up I have always had pets, dogs and cats. Breeds we have had include springer spaniels, jack russell terriers, border collies, german shepherds and yorkshire terriers. As an adult I have had 2 hungarian vizslas with a previous partner so I am well versed in active breeds. I had my vizslas from puppies so I have experience of those demands and training them. I now only have one of those vizslas, nearly 2 year old Finn so any requests will need to bear this in mind. He is friendly with dogs and people but he is active and loves to play. I have a flexible job, it is 9-5 monday to friday but I can work from home when I want to, subject to appointments. I don't have fixed days or times at home but I can balance the care of my dog easily. I can return home after appointments which are normally only an hour or two so your pets won't be left long. I have a fully enclosed back garden with no public access to the back- I have a side passage with two locked doors leading to the back garden and the fences are 5ft and in good condition so your pets will be safe and secure. I can shut off access to different areas of the house as well if your pets need to be contained whilst alone. I am happy to use a crate if that's what you prefer.

“I received lots of pictures from each visit. Estera was very kind and lovely! Would definitely recommend using her and next time I'm on a trip, I will definitely be using her again.”

“Jordanne was the perfect cat sitter - reliable, caring and great communication sharing lovely daily pictures and videos of our cat. She even watered the plants for us. Would definitely recommend! Thank you. ”

About: I started off caring for pets just as a side job but I’ve got to say, in my experience, I love cats way more than dogs! All together I have cared for 3 different cats, 1 of them several times for a friend. I love their personalities and have experience in both outdoor and indoor cats. I have basic level first aid training. I am happy to administer medication on consent. I know have adopted a cat of my own, a lovely tabby named Bambi
“Brilliant from start to finish. Very kind and helpful, she came in twice a day to feed and check on my cat and rabbit. I got a load of photos and updates which were lovely to look at and see how they were getting on while I was away for the weekend getting married! I would definitely book her again.”

About: Have owned cats for 25 years, and now have a wonderful Lurcher who has been in my life for 3 years now. I also have loaned horses for many years. I am available for dog walks and pet visits on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. SHort notice visits are usually ok, please contact me with your queries! :) I can offer dog walks from your property - ie. I wouldn't be driving your dog to the start of the walk. I am also happy to do home visits.

“A big thank you to Alex for looking after our cat while we were away. It is very appreciated when the care and attention provided is of a high level, so we can relax and not worry. I can recommend Alex to look after your pet, our cat was well cared for and happy when we returned home.”

“Amazing, couldn’t have asked for better caring people to look after my dog Margo. They went above and beyond taking her out on day trips, treating her like part of their family and also providing photos while I was away. I will be booking with them again!! I would highly recommend and I already have!!”

“Susan (and her husband) did a great job of caring for Ruby, while I attended my daughters graduation. Ruby is very anxious and has some health needs. Susan was very calm and gentle, letting Ruby settle in at her own pace and adapting her care to accommodate Ruby's needs and routine. I got lots of updates and photos through the day, giving me confidence and peace of mind that Ruby was in safe and loving hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan. Thank you so much for making Ruby feel at home and giving her all the love and cuddles she needs 🩷🩷🩷”

“Angus had a great time with Lexie today. Lexie sent me regular updates on Angus putting my mind at ease. And from the pictures I recieved I can tell he enjoyed every moment of it! I will certainly be booking again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and truly see them as a treasured part of the family. I’ve owned dogs myself and have also cared for many dogs for friends and family over the years. I’m experienced with a variety of breeds and personalities, including hounds, terriers, collies, dachshunds as well as mixed breeds. This has helped me become comfortable adapting to different energy levels, routines, and care needs. I have recently adopted a little cockapoo girl who is my bundle of joy, she is super friendly and loves meeting new dogs. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I will treat your dog like my own, always making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after while in my care. I work from home full time Tuesday through to Friday, which means dogs in my care have plenty of company throughout the day. Because I’m home, I can offer regular toilet breaks, playtime, treats, and lots of cuddles so they never feel lonely. During the day, I have natural downtime where I can feed, play, and spend time with your dog. Dogs will usually enjoy a 45-minute lunchtime walk and a longer walk once I finish work, along with plenty of cuddles and a good old snooze. I will always want to make your dog feel safe and like part of the family whilst staying with me, so I am happy to tailor my approach to your dog. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, adult-only household with no children, which helps create a calm and relaxed environment for visiting dogs. I also have my own 8-month-old cockapoo, Roxi, who is very friendly and loves meeting new dog friends. She’s sociable, playful, and used to sharing her space with other dogs. The house has a secure, fully enclosed rear garden where dogs can safely go out for fresh air and toilet breaks whenever they need. We’re also lucky to have several parks and green spaces nearby, which are perfect for daily walks and exercise. I always follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and take time to make sure they feel comfortable and settled in my home. Dogs are supervised, given plenty of attention, and treated like part of the family while they stay with me. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you and your dog feel completely comfortable, and I’ll send regular photo and message updates during their stay so you can see how they’re getting on.
About: I have loved dogs since day one, growing up we had two Labradors, one of which was a rescue. My mum also added a little Westie to the gang, so along with 3 cats, it was quite a busy household! I developed a deep love and understanding of their unique personalities and needs. Now, as the proud owner with my wife of four wonderful dogs, three are rescue dogs, two of which are Thai street dogs, and my mums Bedlington Terrier following her passing. Two of the rescue dogs are reactive to other dogs so I bring a hands-on experience in handling a variety of temperaments with patience and care. Whether it’s providing a calming presence for anxious pups or ensuring playful companions get the exercise they need, I’m committed to creating a safe, happy environment for every dog I care for. I would be delighted to care for your dog, if you're happy for me to help, please pop me a message! I currently work from home, so I'm free during the week and weekends to look after your lovely dog! If you have any questions, just let me know! We have a fenced garden and if your dog gets on with other dogs, we have four of our own to keep them company if needs be. We also have two crates if required.

“We had a tight schedule when we booked Karina, but she was incredibly flexible, which was a huge help for us. Our dog clearly enjoyed the time with her, all the videos and pictures showed she was living her best life. Highly recommend!”

“Meg had a wonderful time with Alex. We felt 100% happy and confident to leave our dog with her for a few days while on holiday in the Lake District. We were sent lots of photos and Meg was very happy to go back each day. On our last day Meg took us for a walk and took us to the park where Alex bought her a sausage for lunch - unfortunately the cafe was closed when we got there but it was lovely to see her keen to share the experience with us! We would definitely love to book Alex for dog sitting next time we visit the Lake District. 🥰”

“Our little Narla spent the day with Michelle & Ronny & absolutely loved it, she had loads of fun with Ronny, she just loves company. Would highly recommend Michelle 🌟 🌟”

About: Very experienced dog trainer and behaviourist, with large rescue organisation for over 10 years. Avid dog lover, and previous dog mum to a sassy Daxi called Tilly. Countryside living in Cumbria, with both walks on the doorstep, and the fells a short drive away for those more adventurous paws! Dog got a few 'quirks'? Rest assured, ive seen em all! Positive training methods and vibes all the way! :) I am currently on a career break, so the world is my oyster at the moment. I enjoy getting out and about most days, so having a pooch to join me would be great! I understand every dog is different, so am able to adapt to each individual in order to meet both their, and your needs. I have a mature garden, which is full of lots of smells and room for adventures. the majority of it is enclosed, with some small gaps beneath some decking- however, I am more than happy to keep your pooch on a long line, and supervised at all times. I have multiple rooms, if your dog requires separating at certain times etc. I have space for crates etc. I am happy to accommodate your dog on the furniture, or on the bed if this makes them feel more at ease. I have access to a woodland which is not open to the public, so if your dog requires quieter walks away from the public, or other dogs, this can be accommodated easily.
“Gail was fantastic with looking after our Cavachon, Maisie for some daycare and we felt very reassured leaving her, along with lovely Luna the Cockapoo! Maisie seemed completely relaxed being there and Gail was very kind, helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Would happily recommend and rebook. Thanks Gail!”

I am very good with dogs at all ages and have a lot of experience with young, teen and elderly dogs. I am available for walks and visits any other weekdays after 5.30pm. If you have any certain requests to not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to meeting your pets! Not to mention giving them lots of cuddles/scratches and feeding them nutritious food.
