“Nicola recently looked after Pepper for 4 nights. We have got to say we have found a treasure. Pepper has a condition called Addisons and requires medication and constant thirst and toilet breaks. To find Nicola who looked after Pepper one to one and updated us daily with phots and videos. To know Pepps was in good hands really made us relax and enjoy our break. We recommend Nicola to anyone but would also like to keep her to ourselves . Thanks again Nicola”

About: Dog owner from childhood that has extended into adulthood. Currently have a 11yr old Staffy x Lab which I have had since she was 8 weeks old. Passionate about animals, also a horse owner and I love the outdoors and long walks. Pet care fits into my daily life well. I live a 5 minute walk from Morecambe promenade. Plenty of walking available in the surrounding villages and towns. I am a nurse who is lucky enough to have a flexible rotation. So have plenty of opportunities to work both as a nurse and a dog sitter. Pets that come to stay follow the same routine as they would in their normal environment. Home from home experience. Bring with you all that your dog requires to keep them as settled and as comfortable as possible.

I immediately felt at ease as they clearly experienced and comfortable with dogs. They have two dogs of their own and Lola was happy to be with them. About: I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day. I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.

About: I have experience of dog walking and caring for a dog old and young, as I've always had a dog from a young age. I have some experience of caring for cats young and old also. I currently work part-time and am available most days in the morning and afternoon and evening for dog walking. Dog boarding on Sundays to Tuesday. At my home I have a medium sized dog crate, dog toys, bowls, blankets and a secure back yard. I would feed, walk and play with your pet as needed.
