My dog is older and arthritic, and Lidia took lovely care of him while I was away, letting him relax in the garden and take his time with things and sending me photos. He was very content when I collected him and in no rush to leave, I think he wanted to stay longer!”

“If you’ve got a reactive dog, you can be sure they’ll be well looked after with Reece and Lucy! In the past I’ve been so worried about leaving my cocker spaniel with sitters, but from the moment we met I could see how much these two really care about dogs and therefore would prioritise Otis’ comfort, looking out for him and having plans in place for moments where he might have gotten stressed. It turns out this was barely needed as clearly Otis felt right at home from the off, and he didn’t have a single moment of reactivity the whole weekend - which is amazing and absolutely testament to the great care that he was shown. I felt really relaxed about leaving Otis with Reece and Lucy, and I’d 100% do this again. Great comms before and during Otis’ stay too. Thank you both!!”

I immediately felt at ease as they clearly experienced and comfortable with dogs. They have two dogs of their own and Lola was happy to be with them. I always feel a little nervous and guilty when we go away. So to have someone like Ian and Tracy who reassures you, that she will be well looked after, gives you peace of mind. Excellent communication received, with regular updates and photos, this all helped us. Lola had lots of walks and play time, she was very happy and relaxed when we picked her up. ` I will definitely be using Ian and Tracy again. I highly recommend them for dog boarding. About: I’m an experienced dog owner with a lurcher of my own, so I’m very used to the day-to-day care, routines, exercise and attention dogs need. I’m confident handling dogs on walks, keeping them settled and comfortable, and making sure they get plenty of company and affection. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I work but have the ability to work from home and so my availability is flexible throughout the week. I typically walk my own dog twice a day. I have a fenced, 7 acre fellside garden (I live on an old farm), so in addition to twice daily walks there is also plenty of space for walking and running about throughout the day. My own dog is very chilled and has no problems with other dogs. My house is very dog friendly, lying on the furniture is fine, I also have a large crate I no longer use which can be used for dogs who need it.

About: Dog owner from childhood that has extended into adulthood. Currently have a 11yr old Staffy x Lab which I have had since she was 8 weeks old. Plenty of walking available in the surrounding villages and towns. I am a nurse who is lucky enough to have a flexible rotation. So have plenty of opportunities to work both as a nurse and a dog sitter. Pets that come to stay follow the same routine as they would in their normal environment. Home from home experience. Bring with you all that your dog requires to keep them as settled and as comfortable as possible.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since being tiny always having a family dogs. I’ve had a range of breeds and currently have my own puppy Labrador and my family have 4 dachshunds which I lived with and looked after before I moved into my own home. I currently work full time as a A&E nurse. I work 13 hour shifts and usually have 4 days off a week I can come and visit your dog. I get my rota 2 months in advance so can give plenty of notice on my free days. I live in a fully fenced off garden which I let my puppy play in. I will never take your dog off the lead unless instructed to.
