About: Hi, I'm Josie and I've always loved animals. As a child, I had 4 tropical fish and a hamster and I was hooked. Caring for animals took a back seat to my education but as a young adult, I had the opportunity to live with my friend's adorable tabby cat and I was reminded of my passion. Looking after pets became my job and I love it. I want to dedicate more time to this and improve my skills in caring for pets. Services I provide: Pet Walking, Sitting and Drop In Visits. Unfortunately, I cannot board pets at home since I live in rented property. By dedicating to pet care full time, I have more time to dedicate to pet care. About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. About: I have grown up with all kinds of pets from a very young age and most recently owned a rabbit (Domino), who reached the grand age of 12. I have looked after many dogs over the years, including my sister's Cocker Spaniel, a friend's French Bulldog and a family who owned 5 dogs including Chihuahuas, a German Shepherd and a Staffie. I work full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am until 5pm. Most of my evenings and weekends are available. I am currently unable to have my own pet but will gladly help to look after everyone else's in the meantime. I currently have no pets at home, so your pet will get my full attention. I enjoy fluffy cuddles even if your pet has white fur and I'm all in black! I am more than happy to follow a routine you already have in place and appreciate every pet is has different needs

About: We have had a dog in our family for the last 15 years....minus a few years after we lost our beloved Collie cross Sam. We are used to have small and large dogs in the family and both our boys love dogs. We live a 10 minute walk from the beach and round the corner from large fields for ball chasing. We would love to welcome your dog into our home and we have a very large fenced garden for them to play in too. I work full time but 3 days from home. We do have our own dog that I take care of too so your pet will have a friend. Walks are at 7am...on the school run...lunchtime and evening before bed so your pet will have plenty of exercise. I have a large fenced garden with a lot of space for exercise and can also crate your pet if needed for comfort. They will get a lot of love and attention.

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for providing the best care to all pets. I had my dog for almost 13 years and prior to that, we would dog sit for family friends going away. I have recently adopted an older rescue cat on lifelong medication. With my profession I am comfortable with caring for all kinds of pets including reptiles and rodents. I also have experience medicating a myriad of species so would be happy to assist with this if your pet(s) require anything throughout the day. Growing up I've volunteered and worked at a number of different kennels and catteries local to me and I have since been volunteering at a cat sanctuary for almost three years and love spending my free time with animals. I am a very active person with my favourite hobbies being walking and going to the gym so you can rest assured I would meet your pets exercise and enrichment needs to keep them happy and settled in your absence.
My services include home boarding with your pets, walking, bathing, medicating, house visits and spending quality time with your pets in your absence. I’m currently working part time so my mornings and evenings are typically free on the days I work and I have the whole day free on my days off to spend with your fur-babies I’m comfortable keeping your pets as close to their typical routine as possible to keep them stress-free. I can walk and medicate at the same times of day and can regularly update you with pictures for piece of mind

“Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. I can't thank her enough for putting me at ease with the pictures and video as she's pet sitting Odin in our home in July for our wedding. Odin is looking forward to it I'm sure. Thankyou Georgia!”

About: Dog mad since childhood and after losing my own dog in 2009, I set up a rescue in his honour. Over 15 years of helping rescue and rehome dogs as well as injury and trauma rehab. I’ve also run a dog shelter single handed with over 40 dogs. All proceeds go towards my dog rescue project 🐾 I am fully dedicated to dogs. My project ........ involves me working and fundraising in the UK and then going abroad to rescue in places of critical need. They last 6 years I’ve been doing this mostly between London and Turkiye where they passed a law to massacre stray dogs. When I’m in London, I stay at my best friend’s place near Vauxhall station to keep overheads low. I usually care for dog’s at the owner’s home but can occasionally accommodate depending on which rescue dogs I’m caring for at the time.

About: I’ve had my cat since she was 8 weeks old—she’s now around 2 and a half, happy, healthy, and spoiled! Since joining Rover, I’ve also looked after a puppy named Reuben for about 6 weeks, and I’ve completed a few cat sitting jobs. I understand the care and attention pets need, and I’m always happy to help other pet owners feel at ease when they’re away. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work, so I’m fully available for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and like to keep busy with side hustles and helping out other pet owners. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my routine right now. I live in a spacious ground floor flat with a small shared garden. It’s very cat-friendly with toys, a cat tower, and cozy spots to relax. My cat enjoys going out on nice days and always comes back home safely. Pets are welcome on the sofa and bed—just like my own! I take pride in creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for animals.

About: From an older lab to husky puppies and rescues I have always been surrounded by pups. My lovely but anxious rescued lurcher has shown me how a little love can allow our companions personalities to bloom. I’m an undergraduate student on summer break so I have all the time necessary to give your best friend all the attention they might need. I have a large home in town centre and a gated outdoor area. Just a short walk from the beach there is plenty of opportunity for sunset walks.

I also volunteer with the RSPCA, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, including rescues, anxious dogs, and seniors needing a little extra patience and gentle care. Whether it's a quick drop-in to feed and let your pup out, or a longer walk to tire them out, I treat every dog like my own — with patience, attention, and genuine love for the job. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily build pet visits and walks around my day rather than squeezing them into a rushed window. That flexibility lets me be responsive too — if you need a last-minute visit or your schedule changes, I can usually adjust to make it work. Your pet's wellbeing isn't an add-on for me; it's something I can genuinely prioritize and check in on throughout the day. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I would my own. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, medication, routines, and any specific rules you have (e.g. no furniture, certain rooms off-limits, leash preferences). I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed before and after visits, keep an eye out for anything that seems off with your pet's behaviour or health, and will contact you straight away if I'm ever concerned. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times, avoid busy roads or off-leash areas unless you've said it's okay, and stay alert to other dogs, wildlife, or hazards along the route. I also make sure your home is left exactly as I found it — lights, doors, and any security measures back to how you left them. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first, and I'm happy to send updates or photos during visits so you have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hi I'm naomi I love all animals especially dogs and want to spend all my time around them I live in Blackpool so I can take dogs on nice walks around the park I have a dog of my own archie a black pug he is extremely friendly and enjoys meeting new friends. I live in a good sized house with a fenced in garden which is not so big but I would take dogs out two or three times a day. I have a dog flap so dogs can have access to the yard whenever they want. No dog is too big or too small. I look forward to hearing from people and meeting some lovely dogs. Dogs have to be OK around children as I have a young son. Prices can be negotiated and I am willing to discount and lower prices if to steep with discussion I work part time nights but my partner does not currently work so There will always be me oŕ my partner around to keep your fur babies company I have a secure garden which is only small but I take dogs out on multiple walks with my own dogs. Dogs have full access to downstairs and there is a dog flap to the garden
