“Jane was fantastic. She did 2 drop in visits for my 3 cats. 2 are nervous rescue cats who seem entirely unperturbed by the whole event so I know she was fab with them. The other is an my 16 yr old cat who has some health issues. Jane administered medication (crushed tablets and liquid) as well as feeding all 3 and cleaning up after them. I was so grateful that Jane took such good care of my poorly old cat with no complaint at all. Could not have asked for more!”

About: I have had dogs all my life, we love them, my daughter has a Cockerpoo who regularly comes to stay and we love him!He is our Grand Dog😂 We had 3 dogs all at the same time at one point and loved every moment.They all got old and had one illness or another and so I am used to administering medications.Therefore, also used to senior dogs too. We live semi rurally and there is a fabulous enclosed dog field nearby for those with sketchy recall! Please let me know your dogs routine and and we will stick to that as far as possible. Also let us know any dietary requirements or allergies and medications. I am at home all day and my husband works from home so there will be plenty of attention to go round. About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. About: Dog mad since childhood and after losing my own dog in 2009, I set up a rescue in his honour. Over 15 years of helping rescue and rehome dogs as well as injury and trauma rehab. “Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. About: From an older lab to husky puppies and rescues I have always been surrounded by pups. My lovely but anxious rescued lurcher has shown me how a little love can allow our companions personalities to bloom. I’m an undergraduate student on summer break so I have all the time necessary to give your best friend all the attention they might need. I have a large home in town centre and a gated outdoor area. Just a short walk from the beach there is plenty of opportunity for sunset walks.

About: I have always had pets around myself and family I’ve even had chickens for several years. I often look after my family’s pets while they are on holiday. I am retired now and very active. I live in a good sized house with a fenced in garden which is not so big but I would take dogs out two or three times a day. I have a dog flap so dogs can have access to the yard whenever they want.
