“Absolutely top banana! My boy was so well looked after and loved his holiday stay! Wouldn’t hesitate to have him looked after by James and Jayne again! I downloaded this app as I was let down last minute for a dog sitter and they responded within ten minutes of me messaging, the night before I left. Amazing people, lovely home, and absolutely 100% recommend. They get Trenzies seal of approval too!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾💜💜💜💜”

“Geoff looked after my dog Radley so I could go out to celebrate an upcoming wedding with my daughter. Radley is very old with dementia and doesn’t settle well in the evenings. Geoff was kind and gentle with him, took him for a little walk and made sure he was settled before I came home. I’m very grateful to Geoff and it gave me great comfort to know Radley had been well cared for. Geoff also left a little record of Radleys good behaviour for me to read when I got home 🥰. We will be seeing Geoff again very soon ❤️”
“My dogs look to have had an amazing time with Lisa. Loved the pictures and updates and they have come back happy and settled. Great communication throughout. I would highly recommend and rebook.”

“Jo and her family welcomed my Elle into their home like she was one of their family. They kindly allowed her to stay in their bedroom too. Jo followed all of the care instructions perfectly & gave plenty of wiggle room for pick up times. Jo updated me with photos & how Elle was settling in which was very comforting. I would definitely book Jo again & would 100% recommend her to anyone else. Thank you Jo you were a star ⭐️”

“Lauren and her husband looked after my dog Ozzie for the day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I met Lauren, she made me feel completely at ease, especially as it was the first time I’d ever left Ozzie with someone who wasn’t family. They took him on plenty of walks and kept me updated throughout the day, which was really reassuring. It was clear he was being well looked after and having a great time. When I picked him up he came back happy and tired – always a good sign! I’m so grateful for the care they gave him, and Ozzie can’t wait to come back again. I would definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter.”

“Jane was fantastic. She did 2 drop in visits for my 3 cats. 2 are nervous rescue cats who seem entirely unperturbed by the whole event so I know she was fab with them. The other is an my 16 yr old cat who has some health issues. Jane administered medication (crushed tablets and liquid) as well as feeding all 3 and cleaning up after them. I was so grateful that Jane took such good care of my poorly old cat with no complaint at all. Could not have asked for more!”

About: While I've never owned a cat myself, I grew up around them — my nan always had cats, so I've been comfortable with them from a young age. I've also looked after cats for friends and family over the years, doing feeding, litter box care, and check-ins while owners are away. I understand that cats need a calmer, more independent approach than dogs — respecting their space, sticking to their routine, and letting them come to me on their own terms.

“Today was the first time my boys have been cared for by anyone else other than us. To say ‘I’ had separation anxiety was an understatement, my boys had met Catherine previously and today was their first day care date. They went in happy with Catherine and 6 hours later they were calm and happy and equally as happy to see me as I were them. This is the start of something beautiful!”

“Claude had the best time with Elisabeth. Clearly he felt very comfortable in her comapny as he was asleep on her lap in no time. Communication was excellent. We had complete peace of mind that Claude was in safe hands. I couldn't recommend her more.”

“Really lovely couple who I immediately trusted to look after my boy. Finley obviously had a great time and came home super happy. Thank you so much guys. It's great to have somewhere I know he will be safe and comfortable.”

“Our cockapoo is quite an anxious little character so we’re always slightly concerned about placing him in the care of someone else. Any such worries were immediately dispelled by Lisa’s calm and reassuring approach. Ossie warmed to Lisa immediately and we left him with her knowing he’d be loved and looked after. Very happy to recommend her unreservedly.”

“Otis spent the day with Jayne and James in preparation for a longer stay with them. About: I’ve had my cat since she was 8 weeks old—she’s now around 2 and a half, happy, healthy, and spoiled! Since joining Rover, I’ve also looked after a puppy named Reuben for about 6 weeks, and I’ve completed a few cat sitting jobs. I understand the care and attention pets need, and I’m always happy to help other pet owners feel at ease when they’re away. I’m currently unemployed and looking for work, so I’m fully available for pet care. I enjoy spending time with animals and like to keep busy with side hustles and helping out other pet owners. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my routine right now. I live in a spacious ground floor flat with a small shared garden. It’s very cat-friendly with toys, a cat tower, and cozy spots to relax. My cat enjoys going out on nice days and always comes back home safely. Pets are welcome on the sofa and bed—just like my own! I take pride in creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for animals.
“It was the first time I’ve used Eli and she was absolutely fab. I always feel terrible leaving Yamba, but she sent constant updates and photos and immediately left me at ease. Yams was excited to see her every walk. Will definitely use her again- thanks Eli! 🙌”

“This is the first time we have used a dog service for our dogs and wish we would have found Michael and Geoff sooner! The good thing about them is they walk our staffies alone unlike other dog walkers where they have a few dogs at a time. We are also going to use them for boarding too in the future as they have a secure garden with no other dogs which is perfect! Communication is great and they are flexible and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone!”

About: Hello, my name is Lisa and my husband is Stuart. We live in Thornton in Lancashire. We have two grown up children, neither of which live at home and two school age grandchildren who visit who have been brought up with dogs so know how to be respectful of them. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We have been married for over 30 years and have had dogs for most of this time. We do not have a dog currently as we lost our beloved Chihuahua in April 22 and our much loved Yorkshire Terrier in January 23. We consider ourselves to be experienced dog owners in both behavioural and health issues. I am animal first aid and animal CPR trained. During our Chihuahuas lifetime we dealt with luxating patella for which she had surgery, epilepsy and heart failure for which we had to administer and monitor medication, we also studied home dog behavioural courses to manage her extreme nervousness. This experience enabled us to become very dog knowledgeable and we educated ourselves to help us to understand all of their quirks and the reasons for certain behaviour. I have recently retired as a Nurse from the nhs which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now around most of the time each day to give them my full attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. Any dog in our care would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours. We are an active couple in our spare time and we have a touring caravan which we originally bought to allow us to take our pets everywhere with us. We spend a lot of weekends in the Lake District and other lovely places and would be happy to take your dog with us for a little holiday. Your dog will be kept safe and taken to the Vet immediately should it be required. We are happy to administer medication. They will be groomed if required and I am happy to attend to their dental care. I have recently retired as a Nurse which is great news for any pet staying with us as I am now at home much more giving your pets my undivided attention. My husband is self employed so therefore extremely flexible and is able to go home several times a day to see and walk a dog if for any reason I was out. A dog would never be left alone for any longer than 2-3 hours whilst in our care. We have a lovely quiet household on a very quiet street with a safe fully enclosed garden. We live in a semi-rural area with lots of lovely walks nearby and are only a couple of miles from the beach. We don’t mix dogs from different families so you can be assured your dog will be given our undivided attention whilst they are in our care.
“My dog has been in Jola’s care for the past few weeks, and I couldn’t be happier. She is truly wonderful — incredibly kind, reliable, and with a natural, intuitive approach to dogs. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares. My dog absolutely loves her and gets so excited every time he sees her. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and exceptional to care for their pet.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, starting in childhood, and it's a passion that's never faded. I raised my own dog from a puppy, so I understand firsthand what it takes to house-train, socialize, and build good habits with young dogs — from teaching basic commands to managing that puppy energy safely. I also volunteer with the RSPCA, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs from all kinds of backgrounds, including rescues, anxious dogs, and seniors needing a little extra patience and gentle care. Whether it's a quick drop-in to feed and let your pup out, or a longer walk to tire them out, I treat every dog like my own — with patience, attention, and genuine love for the job. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily build pet visits and walks around my day rather than squeezing them into a rushed window. That flexibility lets me be responsive too — if you need a last-minute visit or your schedule changes, I can usually adjust to make it work. Your pet's wellbeing isn't an add-on for me; it's something I can genuinely prioritize and check in on throughout the day. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care as I would my own. I follow your instructions closely — feeding schedules, medication, routines, and any specific rules you have (e.g. no furniture, certain rooms off-limits, leash preferences). I always make sure doors and gates are securely closed before and after visits, keep an eye out for anything that seems off with your pet's behaviour or health, and will contact you straight away if I'm ever concerned. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times, avoid busy roads or off-leash areas unless you've said it's okay, and stay alert to other dogs, wildlife, or hazards along the route. I also make sure your home is left exactly as I found it — lights, doors, and any security measures back to how you left them. Your pet's safety and comfort always come first, and I'm happy to send updates or photos during visits so you have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hi! I’m Elisabeth or Libby, I’m 19 years old and have grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had hands-on experience caring fora variety of breeds like Labradors, Staffies, and Scottish Terriers, and have been the main caregiver for my family and friends dogs for years. This has given me experience with different temperaments, exercise needs, and routines — from energetic walks and playtime to calmer companionship and daily care. I’m confident with basic animal first aid skills and experienced in spotting signs that a pet may be unwell or behaving differently from normal. Through caring for family pets, I’ve also had experience communicating with vets, including assisting during video consultations and carrying out checks such as inspecting teeth and gum health under veterinary guidance. I’m planning to study Animal Behaviour at undergraduate level in September, as working with and understanding animals is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I’m also respectful, reliable, and trustworthy when caring for pets in other people’s homes, making sure both your dog and your home are looked after carefully while you’re away. Hi! I’m a reliable and caring animal lover currently taking some time before starting university in September after finishing college. This gives me plenty of free time and flexibility to dedicate to looking after your pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to follow any routines or special care instructions your pet needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own! Your pet’s safety, comfort, health, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, caring, and trustworthy environment for dog walking, daytime pet sitting, and overnight stays, either in my cosy one-bedroom seafront flat or within your own home where your pet feels most comfortable. Having recently finished college before starting university in September, I currently have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care throughout the day. I understand how important routines, patience, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet, and I always aim to make owners feel confident and reassured while they’re away. I take pride in keeping both my own flat and clients’ homes clean, tidy, and well cared for at all times. During walks, I always prioritise safety by using secure leads, staying attentive to surroundings, and making sure pets are exercised responsibly and comfortably. Living by the seafront also allows me to offer enjoyable beachfront walks, giving dogs fresh air, exercise, and a calm environment to explore safely. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual health and wellbeing, ensuring they receive the care, affection, and attention they need to feel safe, relaxed, and happy. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing in a peaceful environment by the sea, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after at all times.
About: I have grown up with all kinds of pets from a very young age and most recently owned a rabbit (Domino), who reached the grand age of 12. I work full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am until 5pm. Most of my evenings and weekends are available. I am currently unable to have my own pet but will gladly help to look after everyone else's in the meantime. I currently have no pets at home, so your pet will get my full attention. I enjoy fluffy cuddles even if your pet has white fur and I'm all in black! I am more than happy to follow a routine you already have in place and appreciate every pet is has different needs
“Georgia was kind enough to come back after my wimpy scared of unfamiliar cars boy wouldn't get in her van! So she came back to ours and walked him on the field near our house and Odin came back a very happy and tired boy. Georgia is clearly an animal lover and has a special way with dogs, she was confident enough to walk Odin off lead which I'm happy about as that's what he's used to. I can't thank her enough for putting me at ease with the pictures and video as she's pet sitting Odin in our home in July for our wedding. Odin is looking forward to it I'm sure. Thankyou Georgia!”

About: Hi, I'm Josie and I've always loved animals. As a child, I had 4 tropical fish and a hamster and I was hooked. Caring for animals took a back seat to my education but as a young adult, I had the opportunity to live with my friend's adorable tabby cat and I was reminded of my passion. Looking after pets became my job and I love it. I want to dedicate more time to this and improve my skills in caring for pets. Services I provide: Pet Walking, Sitting and Drop In Visits. Unfortunately, I cannot board pets at home since I live in rented property. By dedicating to pet care full time, I have more time to dedicate to pet care. I am usually free all week apart from Fridays and Sunday. Refer to my calendar for my availability and please feel free to get in contact with any questions. As I will be in your home, I will have all the necessary equipment needed. Coupled with my knowledge, experience and care, I can tackle any and every situation skillfully and safely.
About: I am currently a third year veterinary nursing student with a passion for providing the best care to all pets. I have had my dog for almost 13 years and prior to that, we would dog sit for family friends going away. With my profession I am comfortable with caring for all kinds of pets including reptiles and rodents. I also have experience medicating a myriad of species so would be happy to assist with this if your pet(s) require anything throughout the day. Growing up I've volunteered and worked at a number of different kennels and catteries local to me and I have since been volunteering at a cat sanctuary for almost three years and love spending my free time with animals. I am a very active person with my favourite hobbies being walking and going to the gym so you can rest assured I would meet your pets exercise and enrichment needs to keep them happy and settled in your absence. My services include home boarding with your pets, walking, bathing, medicating, house visits and spending quality time with your pets in your absence. I’m currently working part time so my mornings and evenings are typically free on the days I work and I have the whole day free on my days off to spend with your fur-babies I’m comfortable keeping your pets as close to their typical routine as possible to keep them stress-free. I can walk and medicate at the same times of day and can regularly update you with pictures for piece of mind
About: I have been walking my own dog since he was a puppy and my friends and neighbours have often turned to me to look after theirs. I am trustworthy, reliable and loving, if i walk a dog i treat them as if they are my own and i make sure to keep them safe and in sight at all times. I am a university student who is really missing my own dog at home and I am finding myself walking around the park, looking for my furry companion. I find a walk much more enjoyable with a dog and I would love to help someone out whilst doing something that i am truly passionate about :) I am currently only in University 3 days a week which means I have a few free days, I would love to fill this time with walks with a friend 🐾 I would not be able to board dogs in my home as I am an in student accommodation, but I would love to walk dogs.

About: I’d say what sets me apart is how attentive and patient I am with every pet I look after. I take the time to understand their individual personalities, routines, and needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m experienced with both young and senior pets — I’m happy to help reinforce basic training for puppies, and I’m also gentle and mindful when caring for older animals who may need a slower pace, medication, or extra attention. I’m reliable, communicative, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you have peace of mind. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they’re not just looked after, but genuinely cared for and happy Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins. I make sure I’m available for consistent care throughout the day, whether that’s morning and evening walks or regular companionship. On a weekly basis, I keep my schedule flexible so I can adapt to each pet’s needs, including longer stays or more frequent visits if required. I prioritise reliability and routine, so pets feel comfortable and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure the environment is secure, clean, and calm, with plenty of space for them to relax and feel at ease. I’m attentive to routines, feeding instructions, and any specific needs like medication or mobility support. I take time to build trust with each pet so they feel comfortable with me, and I keep a close eye on their behaviour and wellbeing at all times. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Thank you to Sarah and her family for doing such a good job of caring for my (very needy!) dogs. I think they were actually said to be coming home as they enjoyed all the attention and cuddles!! Would recommend Sarah and her family to anyone and will definitely be using again! X”

“EllaDiane has done a great job looking after Jessie, our Beagle, for nearly two weeks. Jessie can be a bit of a handful but came back looking very happy and healthy. Highly recommended.”

“Hollie was very welcoming and assuring. The dogs seemed happy right from our first meeting. Hollie sent me regular updates and photos of their stay and walks. She was very caring and attentive with my dogs. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hollie and I'm booking with her again.”

“Kat is great, she and Buddy got on right from the start, there were regular updates, pics and I could tell Buddy was at a home with Kat, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kat and totally trust her to look after my best mate again.Thank you.”

About: I’ve spent my career working with dogs and have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for them in a variety of professional roles. My background includes working in boarding kennels, serving as a Local Authority Dog Enforcement Officer, and most recently as a Professional Live Body Detection Dog Handler. These roles have given me the opportunity to work with dogs of every breed, size, age and personality, and have helped me build a calm, confident approach to caring for them. I’m confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the sofa or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for. I’m also happy to administer oral medication and follow any specific instructions to keep their routine as normal as possible. What sets me apart is my understanding of dog behaviour and body language. Through years of professional experience, I’ve learned how to recognise when a dog is feeling relaxed, excited, anxious or uncomfortable, allowing me to respond appropriately and help them feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with additional needs. I understand the importance of patience, consistency and gentle care, and I always take the time to get to know each dog's individual personality and needs. Your dog's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll treat your dog with the same love, care and respect I would my own. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is in experienced, reliable and caring hands. I'm currently available full time and have a flexible schedule, so I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day. From September, I'll be working full time, but I'll continue to offer pet care on the weekends, where I'll have dedicated time to give your dog the care, exercise and affection they deserve. I always make sure every pet receives my full attention and stays happy, safe and comfortable while in my care. I will take the time to get to know each dog's routine, personality and individual needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free. I will always follow your instructions, including feeding routines, exercise requirements, medication schedules and any behavioural or medical needs. I live in a clean, comfortable apartment with access to a front garden for quick toilet breaks. As the front garden is not fully enclosed, I will never allow dogs off lead there. Your dog's safety is my top priority, so all outdoor time will be closely supervised. Dogs staying with me will receive regular walks tailored to their age, breed and energy level, along with plenty of play, companionship and enrichment indoors. I'll ask you about their usual routine, favourite walking routes, favourite treats and toys, any dislikes, allergies or medical conditions, and how they interact with other people, dogs and animals while out on walks. You're welcome to bring your dog's own lead, collar or harness, along with their bed or blanket, favourite toys and anything that smells like home to help them settle in and feel relaxed. For safety, dogs will always remain on lead when out walking until we've built trust and I know their recall and behaviour well. I'll also ask to see that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. I'll make sure I have your veterinary details and emergency contact information before your dog's stay, so I'm fully prepared should they ever be needed. My priority is to provide a safe, calm and caring environment where both you and your dog feel completely confident and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and receiving the very best care.

“Couldn’t thank Reece and Jamie enough for looking after Winston for a week especially with him being an anxious dog and his first time away from us as a family so well, calming him down and helping him settle over the week. Appreciated the regular updates in the evening and seems as they made him feel at home, even getting on well with their dogs. Would recommend.”
