About: Hi , I’m Bev. I am a huge dog lover and have had dogs in my life since I was a little girl at home with mum and dad right through to today in my own home. I live by myself with my 11 yr old border terrier, Duncan who is the most calm and relaxed dog. I have also worked at the RSPCA previously. Happy to look after your four legged family, lots of walks, cuddles and playtime. No hesitation in sharing my bed for overnight sleeps and on the sofa during the day. Will happily send you pictures and videos of your dog whilst they are in my company and promise to ensure they are happy, healthy and loved. Happy to administer medication if needed, and happy to strictly adhere to any dietary requirements. I know not all dogs can enjoy a “treat”. Sorry but no large dogs due to the size of my home, just little dogs under 15kg please. 🐕 🐾 I have a very secure garden and live close to many parks. I have extra long leads so your dog will not be off lead but can still stretch their legs and have some sniffing and playtime. There are no children at my home and happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand should you wish. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thankyou Bev I work full time during the week but weekends are empty and I am at home all weekend with Duncan my dog. Looking to help when you have plans for Saturday day / night I have a dog friendly home, no children and a secured back garden. Happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand should you wish. Thanks
“Sarah and Matty were lovely to Shankly. They have a lovely home with a garden that Shanks loved to play in. It was clear that he enjoyed his stay by the love he showed them as he was leaving. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone else. We look forward to Shanks staying over again.”

About: As a former owner of a large-breed dog, whom I adopted, I have hands-on experience with the daily responsibilities of caring for pets. I also attended positive training classes with my own dog and continue to follow this gentle, reward-based approach. I am especially experienced with shy, slow-to-warm-up, or timid dogs, as I know how to build trust and make them feel comfortable In my previous career, I worked as a professional children’s coach. This background taught me patience, consistency, and how to read subtle cues—skills that transfer naturally into building trust with animals. I am especially comfortable with pets that are shy or slow to warm up, as I know how to interpret their body language and give them the time and space they need to feel safe. As someone who has entrusted my own dog to sitters before, I truly understand what owners hope for: not only someone who can provide food and walks, but someone who will connect with their pet and make them feel loved while you are away. That is the kind of care I promise to provide. My home is pet-free, meaning your companion will enjoy dedicated attention and independent space without the stress of adjusting to other animals. This creates a calm, secure environment where your pet can settle in comfortably. I'm currently working part-time for three days a week, which means I'm at home for more than half of the week. This gives me plenty of time to give your pups the one-on-one attention and companionship they need to feel happy and secure. Long-Term Stays If you're looking for a week-long stay or longer, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to discuss a customized plan that works best for you and your pet's needs. Creating a safe and trusting relationship is my top priority. My home is a peaceful, pet-free space, which means your companion will enjoy dedicated attention without the stress of adjusting to other animals. This calm environment allows your pet to settle in comfortably. For outdoor time, I have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure space for play and potty breaks. When we go for walks, your dog will always be on a leash and under my direct supervision to avoid any potential risks. I also have experience with a variety of diets, including kibble, fresh food, and raw meals, so you can trust that your pet's nutritional needs will be met exactly as you specify. My background in positive reinforcement training isn't just for commands; it’s my philosophy for building trust. I use this gentle, reward-based approach to communicate and show love, ensuring your dog feels safe, understood, and cared for in my home.

About: Hi. I have had dogs of my own all my life- everything from working farm dogs to family pets! I have cared for dogs in my home for friends and family for 10 years. I am lucky enough to have a four acre garden which dogs love to explore on or off the lead. I also have a secure one acre dog exercise field. If your dog enjoys swimming 😁 they can take a dip in the pond too! I'm at home all day every day and able to ensure the highest level of care and attention to meet any individual dog's needs. I can administer medication as needed. I work full time at home and any dog I care for is with me all of that time. Walks can be on the lead or off in the secure field and are provided as requested by the owner in keeping with the dog's usual routine. Dogs are provided with as much exercise as thry need and when they are not outside they are with me in the house in a settled family environment.

I currently work full-time as a teacher, with the odd day off in the middle of the week. I am available for weekend work and boarding over school holidays! “I can’t thank Jean enough for the wonderful care she gave our slightly bonkers Border Collie, Frankie. From the moment we did the video call and chatted through his routines, I felt completely at ease — Jean’s calm manner and thoughtful questions showed she genuinely understood his energy and needs. Once she took over, she handled all his bursts of excitement and quirky antics with calm confidence and real affection. Jean kept us updated with photos and messages throughout his stay, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away. If you’re looking for someone you can trust to understand your dog, stick to the rules, and show kindness and fun in equal measure, Jean’s your person. We will definitely be using her again.”

“My dog, Isla, came back from a stay with Phillipa a very happy dog. Phillipa gave regular updates, which were very gratefully received and took great care of her. It's a wonder Isla wanted to come home!”

“Jodi was great from our first contact. She responded straight away to my enquiry and we arranged a meet and greet for her and Dotty. I could tell straight away Jodi is a dog person through and through. Dotty loved her.She has a lovely home and 2 gorgeous little dogs that dotty was comfortable around.During dottys stay Jodi kept me updated regularly with texts and photos. Dotty went out with one of her dogs to the dog park and I got sent videos of them playing together. Jodi also had a lot of toys and sleeping options for dotty. Jodi really put my mind at ease and I felt confident leaving my dog for the weekend. I picked up Dotty a little earlier than planned which was fine and she didn’t want to leave! Will definitely use Jodi again. Thank you so much!!!”
