Met us beforehand last minute to put us at ease about leaving her, sent regular updates and lots of great photos and we could tell she put time and effort into playing with Stevie and getting to know her and she definitely knows her stuff when it comes to dogs. About: Let me introduce myself - I’m Chrissie and I absolutely love Dogs!! Due to the passing of my beloved Hugo (seen in pics) last year, I have missed the bond of having a pet and getting out in nature as much. I have looked after family dogs many times over the last decade, from springer spaniels, staffys and jack russels. I have loved each dog as if it were my own. I give them the care and affection they deserve and will give yours just as much (if not more!) Carr mill dam is literally at the end of my road, so your dog will have the luxury of the various walks available in the area. I also drive so can take well behaved dogs to other nearby places where your pet can explore its surroundings. I’m looking for well behaved dogs who are good around children as my young son is likely to join us on our walks. I am a teaching assistant by day so I can occasionally provide drop-in checks after school hours, but mainly available for long weekends and school holidays. Perfect for families who are looking for breaks away but not wanting massive expenses for kennel boarding. I have a large astro turfed garden with high fences. Dogs are allowed to roam freely around my home and garden. My home is essentially theirs and wish for them to feel as comfortable and safe as possible.

“We really have found our retreat for Bishop when we go away. I was so worried about leaving Bishop with any one, due to his reactivity with other dogs and the size and energy of him but Louie reassured me as he has many years experience with big breeds and reactive behaviours. I took Bishop for a meet and knew within a minute Louie and his family would manage Bishop and that his needs would be met. We got updates and pictures whilst we were away which reassured me even more. Picking up Bishop was actually quite emotional although I could see he had missed me, the connection and love he clearly had for Louie and his family was clear to see, he had been so well looked after and was part of the family. I really couldn’t ask for more, I would not want anyone else to look after Bishop in the future and look forward to booking again. Can’t thank Louie and his family enough”

“Absolutely incredible, not only does she take incredible care of your dog and treats them as her own, she also offers pick ups and drop offs for an additional charge which is extremely handy. I got sent a tonne of pictures and videos throughout my dogs stay and he looked incredibly happy. Despite max never have been away from me before overnight he settled extremely well. Stephanie is also very much a doggy person who has her own dog Millie who also is delightful. Honey has been to stay with Stephanie and Millie for a long weekend, and being a 7 month old pup, we’re still at the building confidence stage and this was to be Honeys very first big girls weekend away. Stephanie has made this a fantastic experience for her and I knew from our first meet amd greet a couple of weeks earlier, that Honey would be happy staying there. About: I have 7 years experience with previous work at a veterinary office. I own a house with a fenced in garden next to a park. I have a flexible working schedule and work from home. I am able to accommodate short and long stays for all pets with short notice. I own my own house with a fenced garden. There is a Ring doorbell camera at the front of the house. There is a park nearby if you would also like me to walk your dog. I own two hairless cats who are very friendly with other pets, though are also more than happy to be put in their own room if needed.

Finding someone to look after our beautiful boy, Max, whilst we all went to a family wedding was daunting. Numerous options on Rover with a handful of 5* reviews, trying to narrow it down to someone who only takes one dog at a time, someone who looks kind and able to handle our Staff who thinks everyone is his friend but can also be like a bowling ball as he enthusiastically comes to greet you. We then found Francis. Endless 5* reviews and lots of pictures to reassure us he could handle our Staff. We arranged a meet and greet; Francis was very obviously a dog person and Max took to him straight away. When the day of the wedding arrived, Max could not wait to get into the house. We took his bed, but Francis had beds upstairs and downstairs. Francis is very well equipped to look take care of your dog and his house is extremely welcoming and dog friendly. Max had a great time judging by the videos we received. Francis asked us if we wanted videos, we did and it was very reassuring to receive them. If you are lucky enough to find a slot available in Francis’ calendar then grab it quickly. You will not be disappointed and your dog will thank you for it.
Elaine and Gary are doing a great job in taking care of Jumbo. They are caring to his well being and his needs. Sometimes Jumbo might be naughty but they are super patience. They will share the photos with us every day which gives us a lot of confidence that he is being taking good care of.
