I am a teaching assistant by day so I can occasionally provide drop-in checks after school hours, but mainly available for long weekends and school holidays. Perfect for families who are looking for breaks away but not wanting massive expenses for kennel boarding.

I’m looking for dogs who are great with young children. Please do not hesitate to reach out and make me aware of any behaviours or needs your dog may have around people or other animals. I want to ensure that your dog is ultimately safe and most importantly comfortable when they are within my care.
A typical day
Your pet will receive lots of cuddles and affection throughout the day. We will explore the many different routes that the local walks have to offer, so your pet will get to explore all the smells and truly get immersed in their surroundings.

Let me introduce myself - I’m Chrissie and I absolutely love Dogs!! Due to the passing of my beloved Hugo (seen in pics) last year, I have missed the bond of having a pet and getting out in nature as much. I have looked after family dogs many times over the last decade, from springer spaniels, staffys and jack russels. I have loved each dog as if it were my own. I give them the care and affection they deserve and will give yours just as much (if not more!) Carr mill dam is literally at the end of my road, so your dog will have the luxury of the various walks available in the area. I also drive so can take well behaved dogs to other nearby places where your pet can explore its surroundings. I’m looking for well behaved dogs who are good around children as my young son is likely to join us on our walks.

Buzz had a great time with Chrissie! He had regular walks and plenty of cuddles whilst he was there, which are his two favourite things! We were kept updated and sent photos of his stay, which put us at ease as he hadn’t stayed with Chrissie before. Would highly recommend Chrissie to anyone looking for someone to have their dog well loved and looked after whilst they are away. We will definitely use again! Thanks Chrissie!
