I am a teaching assistant by day so I can occasionally provide drop-in checks after school hours, but mainly available for long weekends and school holidays. Perfect for families who are looking for breaks away but not wanting massive expenses for kennel boarding.

I’m looking for dogs who are great with young children. Please do not hesitate to reach out and make me aware of any behaviours or needs your dog may have around people or other animals. I want to ensure that your dog is ultimately safe and most importantly comfortable when they are within my care.
A typical day
Your pet will receive lots of cuddles and affection throughout the day. We will explore the many different routes that the local walks have to offer, so your pet will get to explore all the smells and truly get immersed in their surroundings.

Let me introduce myself - I’m Chrissie and I absolutely love Dogs!! Due to the passing of my beloved Hugo (seen in pics) last year, I have missed the bond of having a pet and getting out in nature as much. I have looked after family dogs many times over the last decade, from springer spaniels, staffys and jack russels. I have loved each dog as if it were my own. I give them the care and affection they deserve and will give yours just as much (if not more!) Carr mill dam is literally at the end of my road, so your dog will have the luxury of the various walks available in the area. I also drive so can take well behaved dogs to other nearby places where your pet can explore its surroundings. I’m looking for well behaved dogs who are good around children as my young son is likely to join us on our walks.

Bruce had the most amazing time with Chrissie and Ol! He was so sad to come home and wasn’t even that excited to see us when we picked him up - which just shows how happy and settled he was with them. It’s such a lovely feeling knowing he was so well cared for and having the best time while we were away. The photos and updates we received were really appreciated and made us feel reassured that Bruce was happy and enjoying himself. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter and would highly recommend Chrissie to anyone looking for someone kind, caring and trustworthy to look after their pet. Ziggy had a wonderful time with Christine and her lovely son. He settled quickly and loved having a little buddy to play with. I received updates, photos and videos on him enjoying walks and playing fetch in the garden. He was extremely relaxed and happy when I picked him up, and I hope he can stay again.
I work full time, so having Christine on hand to look after my dog Floyd is a god send! Christine is great with Floyd, she’ll take him for walks and her son keeps him occupied by playing ball him none stop, he often comes home worn out! It’s really handy having someone who is great with dogs be available when you need it, means you don’t have to worry about them being alone in the house all day! Highly recommend Christine sound you need a pet sitter.
