We were really nervous about leaving Spud, but we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Francis. Spud stayed alongside two other dogs, and Francis took the time to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable and helped Spud navigate meeting two new dogs. Spud is great with other dogs and very inquisitive, and it was so reassuring knowing that Francis understood him and made sure everything was managed properly. Spud had also managed to get a wound on his head just before his stay and Francis was absolutely brilliant with it. He kept it lovely and clean, monitored it for us and kept us updated, which was a huge weight off our minds. Throughout his stay we had regular updates, photos and videos, so we could actually relax knowing he was happy, safe and very well looked after. And he clearly had the BEST time! So much so that since coming home, we’re fairly sure he’s a little bit depressed and missing his new friend Francis! Thank you so much for looking after our boy so well. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Spud with Francis again and would absolutely recommend him.

This was the first time we had left our five year old springer spaniel with anyone other than family. As soon as we met Francis during our Meet and Greet session we were immediately put at ease as we could see straight away how comfortable Chester was with him. He stayed with Francis for two nights while we attended a family wedding and we were totally relaxed while we were away as we knew Chester was very happy. Francis sent photos and videos to us and we could see how much Chester was enjoying his stay. We would definitely recommend Francis and will be happy to book with him again.

Finding someone to look after our beautiful boy, Max, whilst we all went to a family wedding was daunting. Numerous options on Rover with a handful of 5* reviews, trying to narrow it down to someone who only takes one dog at a time, someone who looks kind and able to handle our Staff who thinks everyone is his friend but can also be like a bowling ball as he enthusiastically comes to greet you. We then found Francis. Endless 5* reviews and lots of pictures to reassure us he could handle our Staff. We arranged a meet and greet; Francis was very obviously a dog person and Max took to him straight away. When the day of the wedding arrived, Max could not wait to get into the house. We took his bed, but Francis had beds upstairs and downstairs. Francis is very well equipped to look take care of your dog and his house is extremely welcoming and dog friendly. Max had a great time judging by the videos we received. Francis asked us if we wanted videos, we did and it was very reassuring to receive them. If you are lucky enough to find a slot available in Francis’ calendar then grab it quickly. You will not be disappointed and your dog will thank you for it.

We had an excellent experience with Francis. He took Max on at short notice and with the briefest of introductions. He only stayed one night, but Francis provided regular updates and photos showing Max settled in. He is obviously very confident with animals as Max can be quite unsettled when staying in new places, but the were no signs of this. And to top off a great experience when I came to pick Max up the next morning, he had already walked him! Freeing me up for the rest of the morning. Will definitely use Francis again, and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Francis.
