About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for all sorts — from playful puppies finding their paws to gentle seniors who just want a quiet cuddle. I’ve had the joy of looking after everything from tiny Brussels Griffons to giant English Mastiffs, each with their own quirks and charm. Much of my time has been spent managing small groups of dogs, whether out exploring open fields or in safe, enclosed spaces. I’ve learnt how to keep even the most energetic breeds — like Labradors, Border Collies, and Cocker Spaniels — happy, calm, and well-exercised. Above all, I take pride in creating a caring, fun, and secure environment where every dog feels at home. Running my own business gives me a lot of flexibility, which means I can easily fit pet care into my week. I’m generally available Monday to Friday, with plenty of time for everything from a quick midday walk to a longer afternoon play session or even an overnight stay. Because my schedule’s my own, I can adapt to what works best for you and your pet — keeping things simple, reliable, and stress-free for everyone. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first. I follow all the recommended animal welfare guidelines and take extra care to make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure from day one. Before any booking, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet to get to know your pet — their personality, temperament, and what helps them feel at ease. Home Care: When looking after pets in their own homes, I make sure their usual routine is kept as normal as possible. I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before letting any dogs out, keeping their environment calm and familiar. Dog Walking: I plan walks carefully, matching dogs with similar temperaments, sizes, and energy levels. I never overcrowd groups — it’s all about balance and safety. For transport, I use a secure, well-ventilated crate system in my van so every dog travels comfortably and safely. My goal is simple: to build trust with every pet I care for and give owners complete peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in safe, experienced hands.

About: I am a young adult who adores pets, walking and travelling. Pet sitting gives me everything I need in a career! I am a responsible young adult who enjoys the outdoors and really enjoy walking, hiking and spending time under the open sky. Having lived with dogs and cats I know how hard it can be to find a reliable pet sitter when you need to leave home for holiday or for business. As a family we have been lucky to find some great pet sitters in the past, and I am hoping I can help others to take a break from their homes knowing that their furry loved ones are safe. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and needs, from energetic spaniels to lazy greyhounds, young boisterous puppies to senior dogs with mobility issues. As well as dogs I have looked after cats, chickens, ducks and all manner of rodents, birds and fish. I started pet sitting for our own family animals as a young teen, and gained experience looking after others for the past few years. I have references from clients that I have sat for since I was 15 years old, from daily walking to holiday house sitting. It's really important to me that my clients can relax on holiday knowing that their pets and their home are in safe hands. My own animals include five dogs (yes, five!) - these are three whippets, a spanish galgo and a very old italian greyhound who has some special medical needs. I am not afraid of clearing up a toileting mess, and am happy to take on board any special needs your pets have. We also have rats, guinea pigs, chickens and fish. I am looking to make pet care and pet sitting my main career. As such, if you want me to house sit I am able to offer your pets the majority of my time and would not be leaving them for long periods. I live in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and enjoy walking, so if your pet likes long walks I am more than able to provide plenty of exercise. I do also enjoy video games and TV, so am quite happy to simply be a home companion if your pet isn't one for a lot of time out. I cannot look after pets in my own home as we have five dogs already. When it comes to taking care of others, I will treat your home respectfully and keep everything untouched as far as possible! I might be a young adult at 19 years old but I know how to do laundry, cleaning and would expect to leave your home exactly as I found it. Your pets have a routine that works for you and them, my aim is to maintain that as much as possible, so it's helpful if you can give me lots of information about what they do, at what time, how and why.

When your dog is with our family (myself my wife Hil and our teenage son), whether it be boarding, day-care, drop in visits or just a walk, we will always strive to provide the best care and experience tailored to your pet's individual needs. From young to old, small to large, anxious to boisterous, we happily adapt our family-life to fit around your dog. We can offer spacious accommodation with access to a large safe and secure garden. Your dog can have its own space if needed, or the added bonus of the fun company of our friendly golden retriever. There is almost always multiple family members at home to provide care and attention to your precious pet. We pride ourselves on making your pet not a guest but a member of our family for the duration of their stay. We offer flexible pet-care throughout the week and weekends. There is almost always multiple family members at home to care for your beloved pets. We can tailor our service to meet your needs regarding drop-off and pick-up times, and we are happy to discuss the possibility of a pick up and drop off service. We live in a sleepy village on a dead end road, so it is a quiet, safe environment. We are in walking distance of a secure woodland park/Your dog will have the freedom of access to all our downstairs spacious family rooms and bedrooms if desired. They can have the company of our friendly, adaptable, golden retriever or a room of their own if they need some personal space. In nice weather they can have constant access to play in our large safe and secure fenced and locked garden. For poorer weather they have access to an artificial grass area for toileting without getting muddy. On walks your dog will remain on lead under careful supervision, with off lead time only available with your prior agreement. We will update you on your dogs activities on a daily basis and send lots of photos and videos. Your pets will have constant access to fresh water. In times of extreme heat their health will always be our first priority, with air conditioning fans, wet towels available. Exercise will be offered early morning and late evening when it is cooler.

About: I have over 6 years of experience pet sitting, caring for a wide range of animals with different needs, temperaments, and routines. Alongside this, I work as a Veterinary Care Assistant, which has given me hands on experience in animal health, behaviour, and welfare. I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to senior pets, as well as small animals and more specialised care requirements. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while their owners are away, and I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s administering medication, managing nervous behaviour, or just making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise, I approach every pet with patience and care. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare. References are available on request. Pet care fits easily into my routine, allowing me to provide reliable and consistent visits throughout the week. I finish work at 4:30pm Monday to Wednesday, so I’m available for evening visits, feeding, and check-ins on those days. On Thursdays, I don’t start work until 11am, which means I’m available for morning visits as well as later in the day. My weekends are completely free, giving me full flexibility for multiple visits, longer stays, or more tailored care depending on your pet’s needs. I currently don’t offer pet care within my own home. In my experience, most pets feel far more comfortable and settled in their own environment, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and spaces, which helps reduce stress while their owners are away. That said, I understand that every situation is different. I currently have no other pets in my home and live alone, so it’s a calm, quiet environment. I also have an enclosed garden and a park nearby, which is ideal for exercise and outdoor time. If care in my home is something you’re specifically looking for, it can be discussed and requested, and I’m happy to consider this on a case-by-case basis.

About: I have 3 years experience working for a doggie daycare/boarding kennels, and have 2 years experience working as a kennel auxiliary at a veterinary hospital. I am available all weekdays morning/ after noon, can offer multiple hours for walks/ plays and toilet breaks, and flexible for weekends with notice given. I have multiple experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and with different temperaments. I can adapt my care to suit each animal needs.

About: I have been walking my neighbourhood dogs for over 7 years, ranging from golden retrievers, to labradors, to collies, pointers, spaniels and more! I have experience with dog sitting, walking, and check ups as well as looking after my own dog (Bella) back home for over 5 years. I always go above and beyond for each pet, as I truly love and treat each and every one like they are my own. Adding in enrichment, activity, rest and games to each dogs day is something I take pride in, and approach with creativity! I provide lots of communication and updates if requested! Currently I am part time remotely employed so I can give each pet the best care possible and let their needs dictate my day. Whether that is cuddles on the couch or big adventures out and about, each experience is personalised and designed to maximise your pets day. I have a car, clean license and safety equipment for transport so if you would like your dog to explore the wider area I love to take them to different walks and scenic spots. Pets are never left alone, and always given the utmost care and attention. About: I adore dogs, cats and other animals and I am surrounded by them in my personal life which is why I have chosen to advertise my freelance services on Rover to help out other pet owners, whilst doing my degree! Being a dog owner myself I understand the difficulties when it comes to finding the best way to care for your dog while you’re on holiday/ working/ travelling. About: I have looked after all sorts of breeds, ages and sizes. Cared for lap dogs to working dogs. I have a young lab myself, my favourite thing is taking him up mountains and exploring. I love spending time with all of the dogs that I care for! I work from 6am to 3pm on weekdays and occasionally on the weekend. I am available for drop ins in the afternoon during the week, and walks in the afternoons/ evenings. The dogs and cats I care for are treated as though they are my own. I offer at least one 1 hour walk during a sit if wanted, plus I will spend time playing and mentally stimulating your pet!
