About: I have over 6 years of experience pet sitting, caring for a wide range of animals with different needs, temperaments, and routines. Alongside this, I work as a Veterinary Care Assistant, which has given me hands on experience in animal health, behaviour, and welfare. I’m confident handling everything from energetic puppies to senior pets, as well as small animals and more specialised care requirements. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after while their owners are away, and I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s administering medication, managing nervous behaviour, or just making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise, I approach every pet with patience and care. Pet care fits easily into my routine, allowing me to provide reliable and consistent visits throughout the week. I finish work at 4:30pm Monday to Wednesday, so I’m available for evening visits, feeding, and check-ins on those days. On Thursdays, I don’t start work until 11am, which means I’m available for morning visits as well as later in the day. My weekends are completely free, giving me full flexibility for multiple visits, longer stays, or more tailored care depending on your pet’s needs. I currently don’t offer pet care within my own home. In my experience, most pets feel far more comfortable and settled in their own environment, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and spaces, which helps reduce stress while their owners are away. That said, I understand that every situation is different. I currently have no other pets in my home and live alone, so it’s a calm, quiet environment. I also have an enclosed garden and a park nearby, which is ideal for exercise and outdoor time. If care in my home is something you’re specifically looking for, it can be discussed and requested, and I’m happy to consider this on a case-by-case basis.

About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for all sorts — from playful puppies finding their paws to gentle seniors who just want a quiet cuddle. I’ve had the joy of looking after everything from tiny Brussels Griffons to giant English Mastiffs, each with their own quirks and charm. Much of my time has been spent managing small groups of dogs, whether out exploring open fields or in safe, enclosed spaces. I’ve learnt how to keep even the most energetic breeds — like Labradors, Border Collies, and Cocker Spaniels — happy, calm, and well-exercised. Above all, I take pride in creating a caring, fun, and secure environment where every dog feels at home. Running my own business gives me a lot of flexibility, which means I can easily fit pet care into my week. I follow all the recommended animal welfare guidelines and take extra care to make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure from day one. Before any booking, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet to get to know your pet — their personality, temperament, and what helps them feel at ease. Home Care: When looking after pets in their own homes, I make sure their usual routine is kept as normal as possible. I double-check that all doors and gates are secure before letting any dogs out, keeping their environment calm and familiar. Dog Walking: I plan walks carefully, matching dogs with similar temperaments, sizes, and energy levels. I never overcrowd groups — it’s all about balance and safety. For transport, I use a secure, well-ventilated crate system in my van so every dog travels comfortably and safely. My goal is simple: to build trust with every pet I care for and give owners complete peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in safe, experienced hands.

About: Have experience from a young age of looking after dogs of different sizes and temperaments. Also have experience of caring for cats, with both being present throughout my childhood and early adult life. Myself and my partner currently work full time Monday to Friday. So will be looking to care for animals on the weekends. We have no children and are looking forward to giving your pets our full attention. We have a fenced garden at our bungalow. And look after my mums and friends dogs. Currently have no pets of our own. On the edge of the countryside for walks.

About: I am calm and confident around dogs. I love playing and caring for them. I have experience of puppy training senior care and medication administration. I love walking dogs and am happy to be out in all weathers. Working from home with flexible hours I am able to visit your pet in the morning at lunch time and evening. What ever is required. About: I lost my beloved collie age 12 last year and would love to have some dog company at weekends. My house is safe, secure and in a rural setting with close access to countryside and Delamere Forest. I remember how worrying it was to leave my dog with anyone else so I can completely empathise with all the worries. I know first hand that your dog is the heart and soul of your family and hope to be able to reassure you that they will not get better care anywhere else! I'm happy to stick to any routines you may have with them which are especially important when staying somewhere new for the first time. Depending on distance, I may also be able to visit you to introduce myself to your dog (free of charge) once you've booked, before they come to stay. Only dogs though, no cats I'm afraid. I have very little on at weekends and anything I do can be tailored around a dog walk or doggy day care. Doggy Day Care hours are 10am - 4pm on Saturday and/or Sunday. I have no other dogs or pets, no children and a fenced and secure rear garden. Also am in a rural, quiet village and a dog can't see or really hear passing pedestrians (if that causes anxiety). House is warm and hard floors throughout so no problem if they have an accident or two (though I would ask that they are house trained before you book please).

About: I have been walking my neighbourhood dogs for over 7 years, ranging from golden retrievers, to labradors, to collies, pointers, spaniels and more! I have experience with dog sitting, walking, and check ups as well as looking after my own dog (Bella) back home for over 5 years. I always go above and beyond for each pet, as I truly love and treat each and every one like they are my own. Adding in enrichment, activity, rest and games to each dogs day is something I take pride in, and approach with creativity! I provide lots of communication and updates if requested! Currently I am part time remotely employed so I can give each pet the best care possible and let their needs dictate my day. Whether that is cuddles on the couch or big adventures out and about, each experience is personalised and designed to maximise your pets day. I have a car, clean license and safety equipment for transport so if you would like your dog to explore the wider area I love to take them to different walks and scenic spots. Pets are never left alone, and always given the utmost care and attention. I rigorously follow all rules/recommendations from owners regarding what the dogs can/cannot do, and their feeding/walking schedule.

About: I have 3 years experience working for a doggie daycare/boarding kennels, and have 2 years experience working as a kennel auxiliary at a veterinary hospital. I am available all weekdays morning/ after noon, can offer multiple hours for walks/ plays and toilet breaks, and flexible for weekends with notice given. I have multiple experience working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and with different temperaments. I can adapt my care to suit each animal needs.

About: We don’t have any special skills other than our deep love for animals- both have grown up around dogs but unfortunately with working full time we can’t have our own at the moment! We often have dogs staying over the weekend of friends and family and we have always had a great time ! We both work full time Monday to Friday - happy to do evening walks or dog sitting for those who are less mobile or have busy lives. Otherwise boarding from Friday evening’s to Sunday evening. We have an active weekend enjoying lots of walks in the local area. I have a fully fenced in private garden (6ft fence). We live in a residential road. Our downstairs is all hard floors (easy to clean if any accidents) and our upstairs is carpet that is only ever cleaned with pet safe products. We have in dog towels, blankets and bowls for water and food.

About: I adore dogs, cats and other animals and I am surrounded by them in my personal life which is why I have chosen to advertise my freelance services on Rover to help out other pet owners, whilst doing my degree! Being a dog owner myself I understand the difficulties when it comes to finding the best way to care for your dog while you’re on holiday/ working/ travelling. I pride myself on being diligent and routine as well as caring and compassionate, all animals are treated like my own! I always want owners to feel at ease and peace of mind which is why I am happy to take on any requests your pets need, their routine is so important! I am active and healthy and love walking, never say no to a game of ball or tug of war, and a big fan of KONG toys, snuffle mats and doggy puzzles. I am super comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes from Ridgebacks to Dachsunds. I have my own insurance and I am now Canine First Aid trained, happy to provide my certificate! I have regular clients outside of Rover also, so if people would like more references I am more than happy to provide. Please don’t hesitate to message with any enquiries! I am currently in my first year of University, therefore my availability changes during the week, dependent on the day and also dependent on the individual pet and how long they are comfortable being left. I have a UK Driving License so can expand my area for services and travel freely. I am happy to supervise when letting dogs out in other owners gardens. More than happy to crate owners dogs in their home. I am very diligent about what treats and titbits are allowed as my own dog can be sensitive and to such. Any requests dog owners have I will always adhere to, whether general house rules and routine for their dog or maintaining training with their dog.

About: I have looked after all sorts of breeds, ages and sizes. Cared for lap dogs to working dogs. I have a young lab myself, my favourite thing is taking him up mountains and exploring. I love spending time with all of the dogs that I care for! I work from 6am to 3pm on weekdays and occasionally on the weekend. I am available for drop ins in the afternoon during the week, and walks in the afternoons/ evenings. The dogs and cats I care for are treated as though they are my own. I offer at least one 1 hour walk during a sit if wanted, plus I will spend time playing and mentally stimulating your pet! I am always up for cuddles from all animals, and I can send you pictures and updates of what we are doing! I will always leave you home exactly as it was when I arrived, and your pets will be well looked after.
