About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds - from rabbits to rats, fish to cats, and a dog or two as well! Having such a variety of pets taught me that every animal, big or small, needs the same things: care, attention, patience, and lots of engagement. Although I haven’t had pets of my own while at university, I’ve consistently lived with cats and dogs that needed looking after, so caring for animals has always been part of my daily life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel relaxed and safe. What matters most to me is a pet’s quality of life. About: My main experience with dogs comes from looking after my own dog, Stella, who sadly passed away earlier this year. For the last eight years, I was mainly responsible for looking after her while my parents were at work. This included feeding her, keeping her company, taking her for walks and making sure she was happy and well looked after. Towards the end of her life, Stella developed dementia, which also gave me experience with giving medication and recognising when she was unhappy or uncomfortable. I’m a caring and attentive person and genuinely love spending time with dogs, especially going on long walks with them. As I’m currently at university, I have a fairly flexible schedule. I’m only in lectures from 1–3pm on Mondays, 9am–3pm on Tuesdays and 9–11am on Fridays, so I’m often available for pet care and walks. If staying overnight, I’d also be able to balance my university work on my laptop while making sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care. Chloe has been absolutely fantastic and I'm sure she's replaced me as Miri's favorite human! It made a real difference to our holiday, having complete peace of mind that Miri was content and well looked after. Would recommend caitlin to look after your fussy pussys. Caitlin looked after my two very different cats, one shamelessly craving affection, the other very shy over 5 days. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
