About: Hello fellow pet parents! My name is Rachael, and I’m a passionate animal lover. I’m a teacher local to the Chester area, and I live at home with my partner, Aaron, who is a children’s nurse. Having both spent years working with children, we understand the importance of finding someone that you can trust to take exceptional care of your furry family members. We live in a large ground floor flat, right next to the canal and Chester Grosvenor park is less than a 2 minute walk from our door! We look forward to meeting you and your companions soon! As a nurse, Aaron works three shifts a week, meaning he can bring flexibility to our pet sitting schedule. I work Monday to Friday but always have the weekends off so ample time for long walks and adventures. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds - from rabbits to rats, fish to cats, and a dog or two as well! Having such a variety of pets taught me that every animal, big or small, needs the same things: care, attention, patience, and lots of engagement. Although I haven’t had pets of my own while at university, I’ve consistently lived with cats and dogs that needed looking after, so caring for animals has always been part of my daily life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel relaxed and safe. What matters most to me is a pet’s quality of life. I make sure every animal I care for feels happy, stimulated, and well looked after while their owner is away. I’m a graduate student with a flexible schedule, and much of my work can be done from home. This allows me to easily plan my day around your pet’s routine and give them plenty of attention and care. I attend class on Tuesdays and every other Monday for no more than six hours, but outside of that I’m generally home and available throughout the week. This means I can be a consistent and attentive companion for your furry friend while you’re away. About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs in a home environment. I helped train and house-train a cockapoo puppy from a young age and regularly cared for him while my parents were at work, including feeding, walking, playing, and general daily care. He is now 6 years old, and I have continued to spend many days alone with him. Three years ago, we also welcomed a second rescue cockapoo with more nervous and overexcited tendencies, so I have experience managing different personalities and supporting him both individually and alongside our other dog. About: Chester based. I've been working with animals for 8 years at first opinion practices as well as specialist referral. I have dog sat for friends (and vet surgeon colleagues!) whilst they are on holiday, and nothing is more important than ensuring the trust that you are given when you are asked to look after their pets. I make sure to treat them as my own. Any rules you have in your home regarding your pet I will continue to enforce in your absence. Your pet's safety and care will always be my top priority. I do work full time, but I am free weekends and most bank holidays with appropriate notice. On Fridays I am available from 5pm if weekend care is needed. I will be sure to implement any rules you have in your home while you are away and will always send picture updates so you can be sure your pet is safe and happy.

About: I have had 3 boxer dogs, all in which towards their old age I took great care of them including medication. I now have a cocker spaniel who has an ear problem so I am used to having to put medicated cream in his ears. I have also for the past year looked after a Jack Russel and a German shepherd. For these dogs I have house sat so I have done all the feeding and walking etc. I have also had experience cat sitting on 2 different occasions, so this opened me up to how to deal with litter trays, different dietary requirements and medication. These experiences have enabled me with many different opportunities to look after dogs and cats of all sizes! I am a qualified supply teacher in primary schools, which means I have a very flexible schedule and also a lot of free time during half terms! Living in Chester means I have easy access to many different bus/train routes so I am very easy accessible. I have experience with all different breeds and ages so I am happy to be looking after animals who need medication, I can also safely put the dogs in their crate, also senior dogs if there is special needs that they need such as aid getting onto their bed. I have house sat on many occasions and never had any problems I always keep in contact with the Owner, happy to send lots of pictures so they are kept updated and if keys are involved always made sure I follow the owners instructions!
