About: Cats have been part of my life since I was a teenager, and I've been caring for my own for over 10 years. I'm currently owned by Pickles, my 11-year-old rescue moggy who's embracing his senior years with real granddad energy. He loves a good snooze after dinner but will absolutely let you know when it's time for a fuss! I've also grown up with family cats of all personalities, including a couple of particularly spicy strays, so I'm no stranger to a cat with strong opinions. I've cared for cats from kittenhood through to their senior years, including indoor-only cats, administering tablet medication and following individual feeding routines. I know that every cat is different. Some want cuddles and playtime, while others would much rather observe you suspiciously from across the room! I'm patient with nervous cats and believe in letting them approach on their own terms, however long that takes. During visits, I'm happy to handle feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, cuddles (when invited!) and plenty of company, all tailored to your cat's personality and routine. About: Since loosing my beloved doggy Winston earlier in the year, I have made the decision to care and love other people’s fur babies rather than get another dog. Luna and Rosie turned out to be the perfect companions for our energetic one-year-old Golden Retriever, providing a great balance of play and calmness throughout the day. Fiona kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which allowed us to see just how much fun Willow was having and helped us relax and enjoy our day out. The updates, combined with Fiona's obvious understanding of dog behaviour and group dynamics, gave us complete confidence that Willow was in excellent hands. About: I've had pets since I was a toddler - both cats and dogs of all sizes. I have experience with medically monitored pets and pets with behavioural issues. I have helped to train animals. About: I have had cats since I was 15, and I babysitted a guide dog for 2 weeks when I was 11. Since then I've done Animal Management Level 2 B-Tec and Animal Management Level 3 B-Tec getting a Double Merit grade. Alongside my educational journey I was required to look after many different types of animals, give them appropriate medications as well as food preparation and providing correct enrichment. I have also worked approximately 2 years in Pets at Home as a retail assistant fully trained in selling animals. This gives me the full understanding of dietary requirements as well as trained in health checking animals when required. I am currently on Summer Holiday and have a lot of free time to look after anyone's pets. Open to try new things and I'll be communicating effectively to give the care needed. Big or small I will walk your pooch until they are tired enough to give the ground a smooch! I have volunteered at my Grandmother's animal shelter in New Zealand years ago so I am sufficient in caring for animals, even when there are a lot of them. I go to the gym almost daily so I am physically fit to walk any animal big or small, young or old. I also have volunteered with helping charities raise money and I've used my many artistic skills to help do this. I am perfectly happy to pop into your home and feed the dog(s) before or after the walk if that is required of me, or I can stay overnight at your home to give your pet some extra company for a charge of £25 per night. About: Since loosing my beloved doggy Winston earlier in the year, I have made the decision to care and love other people’s fur babies rather than get another dog. I absolutely love dogs and care for them to a very high standard. I could spend every day with a dog and be very happy! Winston had diabetes and went blind. About: My main experience with dogs comes from looking after my own dog, Stella, who sadly passed away earlier this year. For the last eight years, I was mainly responsible for looking after her while my parents were at work.
