Morag is the face behind Happy Pets Chester, a pet care business which is fully licensed and insured for boarding dogs, and for doggy day care with a higher standards license. We also offer drop in visits to other pets. Born into a family where there was always a dog and a cat, many other animals came and went along the way! This was replicated when bringing up my own family. I have many years of experience caring for different animals with different needs and temperaments! Now semiretired, I have a background in healthcare, and am a practical person. I am now able to do my dream job of boarding dogs at my home, pet sitting and dog walking, having the necessary experience and practical attributes for the task. Always reliable, professional and discreet, I offer a service which is tailored to individual needs.

Morag went above and beyond and was wonderfully caring with our cat. She was friendly, professional, reliable, and all round fantastic.
Morag was absolutely wonderful looking after our indoor cat, she was really intentional about making sure she learnt about him beforehand and that we were a right fit for eachother, and sent plenty of updates and pics while we were away. Couldn’t recommend more!
Morag was the perfect pet house sitter. She proved to be totally reliable, conscientious and caring. My dog Bertie was happy and content having his usual walks and home routine. As for looking after the house, it felt like I’d never been away as it was all left exactly as I’d left it for Morag. This is the first time Morag has sat with Ronnie. Ronnie is quite an anxious dog and Morag understood this and when i picked Ronnie up he was relaxed. Morag was prompt arriving. Thank you Morag we will definitely book again 😊

Caring for pets is my job, so I am available care for your pet at anytime. I have a very flexible lifestyle, so am happy to fit in with people as to their individual requirements.

I offer an individual service based on people’s requirements. Respect for the owners wishes in caring for their pet is adhered to at all times. All instructions would be followed. Discretion and confidentiality is always adhered to. On top of this, I am DBS checked to reassure customers of my honesty and integrity.
Pets
A typical day
I will do whatever is needed and be guided by the owner, depending on the needs of the dog/cat/other animal. Types of activities, however, might be (with dogs) playing hide and seek; playing fetch; playing sniff for kibble; playing tug. With cats, they might enjoy lots of petting and rubbing; sitting on my lap; playing with torch toy and other “catch it” toys.
