About: I work from home a lot so have lots of time to dedicate to pets. I have been pet sitting on rover and pawshake since 2022, but have pet sit for friends/family previously. I grew up with dogs and have always loved to spend time with animals. My dogs are in the first picture on my profile! Archie (beagle cross) is 14 this year and Oscar (doberdor) sadly passed away last year. I had them both since puppies, as well as a guinea pig and fish! Lindsay is a fantastic sitter, 5stars is not enough. Took loads of time on the pre visit to built trust with my cat and took extensive notes on all our routines. Great coms throughout and flexible with all my last min changes. Lindsay would send a video montage every day of Nova and it's obvious that my cat was being really well looked after and loved. Excellent service, couldn't ask for more.
Friendly, communicative, gave our Maggie a great fuss every day and sent some (beautiful) pics to keep us up to date with how Maggie was. All good. Happy cat, happy me! Heather is a lovely lady who really loves cats she is very professional, I felt very reassured that Seymour (my cat) was in safe hands when I was away, we got daily photos and reports and she even watered plants pots in hot weather ! I would wholeheartedly recommend Heather I would not hesitate to use her Heather again.
Thank you for looking after our cat Misa last minute. Xiaomian came over to meet Misa and collect the keys and understand our needs before we left for our trip which was great. She left detailed updates with photos which was so reassuring for us. It was clear she dedicated time to understanding what toys and snacks Misa prefers. We also had a pet camera up (which we alerted her about) but this was no issue for her as she understood it’s to keep an eye on our baby!:) Overall Misa had a great time and now she meows at me every morning - I think she is wondering ‘where is Xiaomian with my snacks?!’
Claire was fantastic! She took great care of my baby and kept me updated every day with photos and messages on WhatsApp, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away :) Bobo is usually very reserved and can be quite wary of new people, but he responded really well to Claire, which says a lot. It was clear he was comfortable and well looked after.. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Claire again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.
Anna was very good with Rufus my 2 Yr old Norwegian Forest cat. He did not suffer from my absence at all. Anna sent photos and updates during the day. I think Rufus really enjoyed his day! Anna is very gentle and communicative, and didn't rush off when I returned. I think this was good as it let my cats see that her presence didn't infer my absence. Thankyou Anna Julie x

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
