“Saoirse was fantastic at looking after Milo for us. We received regular updates and photos, and he seemed like he had the best time staying with her. She took such good care of him and we can tell he was shown so much love and attention. I think he was a little sad his own holiday was over when we picked him up 🥲 Milo became very fond of Saoirse and we will be booking again for our next trip very soon and all future trips. 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Joanne has just had our 2 dogs over our wedding weekend, we have never left them before with a dog sitter so was a little bit nervous. Thanks so much x”

About: Hi, we’re a dog loving couple with a lifetime of experience caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, and my fiancé Bobby grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, cats, and dogs, so we’re very comfortable with pets of all kinds. We regularly look after my family dog Max, an energetic Staffy, as well as my brother’s fluffy Pomeranian, Chappy. This has given us hands-on experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. We provide a safe, loving home where your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. We look forward to welcoming your pet into our home and treating them like part of the family.” We both work full-time during the week, so we mainly offer weekend availability. As I’m a teacher, I also have school holidays and half terms off, meaning I’m available for longer stays and full weeks throughout the year. We’ll always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. They’ll never be left alone during their stay, and we only take one booking at a time unless otherwise agreed with owners. As we’re very active, plenty of walks, playtime, and exercise will never be a problem.
“We were so nervous leaving our Maggie for the first time ever but we shouldn’t have worried at all. Heather was so lovely and the updates she provided put our minds at rest. I would 100% recommend Heather and will definitely book again if we needed to! Thank you :)”

“Very happy dog! Rachael sent us photos and videos and kept us updated about Monty. He clearly had a lovely time. Rachael is very responsive and communicates brilliantly. Highly reccomend”

“Can’t thank Charlotte enough for looking after my 8 month pup Luna!! I was very apprehensive leaving her for the first time but Charlotte made it very easy and i instantly felt like I trusted her! She kept me updated every single day with pictures, videos and messages! She’s been on some adventures 😃! Couldn’t recommend her enough!! Will definitely be booking with her in the future 🫶 Thank you so much 🙏🙏”

“Elizabeth was fantastic with our dog Reggie. I can tell he had a great time from the daily updates and pictures. Super attentive, friendly and professional. I'm sure Reggie would love to stay again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Christina. She looked after Peppa for three nights and kept us completely at ease the whole time with regular updates, including plenty of photos and videos. It was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared for Peppa was. Christina was also incredibly thoughtful and responsible—she always checked with us first before giving Peppa anything, which we really appreciated. It showed how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. Peppa came home happy, relaxed, and completely worn out from all the adventures they had together—which says it all! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christina to anyone and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“After meeting Casimiro we felt completely at ease leaving our labradoodle with him. Our dog Oreo was so well looked after and he was happy and returned to us with what I am sure was a bit of sadness at having to leave his company. He was obviously very spoilt. 😃. Highly recommend and we have no doubts in recommending Casimiro. 🐾”

“Sylwia and her partner were absolutely amazing with our dog! We were kept updated through various pictures. There were no issues whatsoever. Sylwia looked after Louie with so much love, kindness and affection, as if he were her own. We would absolutely recommend Sylwia, and will certainly use her again! Thank you.”

“Beau has stayed with Violeta a few times, she loves being there+Violeta always keeps us upto date with photos+videos which means we can go on holiday knowing she is being well cared for!!”

About: I’ve helped to look after family & friends cats before & know how important of a responsibility it is to have the care of others to take care of their furry loved ones and take this seriously. I’ll want to learn your pets likes and dislikes to make them feel safe and for their routine is as disrupted as little as possible.
“This was Georgie's first time on her own since our other cat passed away and we were quite worried about leaving her, but we didn't need to worry, Carina was amazing, we were kept updated every day with photos which put our mind at ease. Thank you so much Carina, we will be in touch next time we go away.”

“Ruby came to stay in my home during my holidays because my cat is very affectionate and I needed someone who could spend more time with him. She came to meet my cat before I went on holidays and he loved her instantly! So I was relieved when I left. She sent me photos and videos of my cat everyday and I could see that he was happy and comfortable around her, so that made me feel calm. My first priority was that he had company. She also took good care of my flat and everything was in good conditions when I came back. I would definitely call her again to take care of my cat!”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time in the last few years playing auntie to friends fur babies; including walks with borrowmydoggy connections. I've looked after a lot of friends and colleagues dogs when they went away on holiday/weekend and regularly dog sit and go on walks. I used to have a German Shepherd and a bunny when I was younger, but when I moved to the UK could no longer have a pet. Moving out for uni, I stayed with a landlady who had 3 senior cats who needed medication administered daily. I also shared a flat with an adorable Cockapoo a few years ago. I also worked in a few farms and looked after many animals including horses, sheep and lamb, goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. My partner and I really enjoy looking after dogs. We like to play with dogs and providing them with a happy and secure environment. Having owned and looked after dogs, I know how anxious people are, being separated from their pets. When you leave your dog with me, know they’ll have a home from home. I’m happy to send you pictures of your pooch, so you can see them having fun and you will have peace of mind knowing your dog is receiving the best care. I love spending time with animals and would be a pleasure to meet your doggo ❤️ My partner and I both work from home, so there will always be 2 people around. I am able to predominately structure my day around taking care of your dog both in the day and overnight. Our flat has a gated communal garden which is mainly used by dogs in the building to have regular walks/open space. Dogs are on leads so your pooch will be safe if anxious around others. We can view this space directly from our flat, so if needed can make sure we only go down when no one else is around.

“Jessica was a great sitter and will definitely be booking again. Very prompt replies to messages, always on time with schedules visits and updates quickly after with a flurry of photos. It's obvious that she cares for animals and would highly recommend.”

“Gabrielle was really fast to respond and come around for a meet at very short notice. She played with Yoshi and sent me lots of photos. Trusted my cat in her hands. Will definitely book again 😺”

“Nicole was friendly and patient with my two cats. They both warmed to her and she sent me great photos and videos of them every day. She was reliable and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend Nicole!”

“I had the pleasure to meet her before booking. I couldn't be more pleased. She has been taking really good care of my cats. She followed all instructions for feeding, litter cleaning, water and so on. I definitely recommend her and will rebook in the future.”

About: I grew up with lots of pets, from goldfish, hamsters and bunnies to our beloved black Labrador Max who sadly passed away a few years ago. While I haven’t had a dog in a while, we got him when I was 13 and a big part of the responsibility for his care was on us. I loooove all animals and would love to have my own but my lifestyle just doesn’t fit right now, which is why I’m excited to help you look after your furry friends instead! It’s quite hard for me to give up to date availability all the time as my schedule can be relatively hectic, so please feel free to reach out and ask :) some days I may be able to help with short notice if I’m working from home and my diary isn’t too crazy! Not sure why the app is saying I have cats when I don’t… I work from home but travel a lot (hence why I can’t have my own pets) but on the days when I’m around am very happy to support others. Sometimes I’m home for the whole week, sometimes I’m gone all week, so I wouldn’t be the best fit for someone who needs me every day of the week or on the same day. I can be very flexible when I’m home though as I make my own schedule. I’m an early bird too which helps! I live in a city centre apartment so that has to be taken into consideration, but for dogs I can access the small grassy area outside my apartment for quick toilet breaks (outside of longer walks!). I am flexible to the needs of the pet!
“Esther was an absolute gem taking care of my cat. She stepped in to help at a time where I had to be away with for family matters and she gave me absolute peace with her updates about my cat, flexibility and care. When I came back I found my cat was as happy as ever, reflecting he'd been treated as well as the updates with the pictures showed. A million thanks, Esther! Would recommend her 1000 times over :)”

“When we met Casimiro, we immediately felt comfortable, and Maggie did too. Today, when I left her with him, I felt completely at ease being separated from her. Casimiro kept me updated with photos the whole time and regularly let me know how the little one was doing. I’m very happy to have met him. Highly recommended and 100% trustworthy. Maggie can’t wait to go back to him.”

“Heathsr has looked after Leah a few times for me and it has been a great experience. I felt she was in safe hands and she was really communicative and flexible. Leah is also very small and has a few particular things she likes and doesn't like and she was helpful with this”

“I left Chloe with Priya and could not have been happier! Plenty of photos and contact throughout the day so I knew Chloe was fine and when I picked her up, she seemed disappointed to be leaving! Perfect service! Thank you”

I’ve gained lots of experience with dogs on borrow my doggy where I’ve handled everything from energetic puppies to older pets that need a gentler approach. I always make sure pets are fed, walked, played with and given lots of love. I live close to parks and the city centre so I can adapt to whatever routine your pet is used to. Caring for fur babies is truly the best thing in the world! From June 2026 I will be available for the whole summer with lots of flexibility to suit your needs. About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, looking after family members dogs when I was young and growing up to be that person at a party playing with the dogs 😅 6 years ago I finally got myself my first ever Furbaby, Halle. Halle loves other dogs just as me so I can’t wait for us to play and look after others ❤️ I currently work from home full time Monday - Friday and I am free most weekends! My job is flexible making this perfect for me. I have my own dog Halle and I regularly look after my mums dog, Arthur. They are both loving and playful dogs who will be over the moon to have another dog help fill our day! I have a large fenced garden, with lots of grass creating lots of space for your four legged friend to zoomie round the garden! I have mine and my mums dog, Halle and Arthur (both Cockapoo’s) to help keep your dog company too! Our house is spacious and full of love and company to ensure your dog has a great time!
About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and absolutely love being around them. For the past three years, I've regularly dog-sat for friends and family, caring for dogs for anything from an afternoon to several weeks at a time. I live in a pet-free city centre flat with access to green space within the grounds, and we're right next door to a park and gardens where I take dogs for regular walks and exercise. I'm confident with all aspects of dog care, including feeding, walking, administering routine medications, and providing plenty of love, attention, and companionship. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet and will always care for your dog as if they were my own. I work four days a week and have Wednesdays and weekends off, which allows me plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. Walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention are all built into my day. My long term partner (Josh), who I live with, also shares responsibility for caring for any dogs staying with us. He works from home full time, meaning dogs are never left alone during the day and always have company, supervision, and access to toilet breaks, walks, and plenty of fuss. Together, we provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home. We live in a secure two bedroom flat. We currently have no pets of our own, so any dogs staying with us receive our full attention and care. Dogs are welcome throughout the flat and can relax on sofas and move freely between rooms, helping them feel comfortable and at home. When out for walks or toilet breaks, I always ensure dogs are kept on the lead for safety. The grounds around our building include green space and are away from the main road, providing a safe and calm environment for exercise and outdoor time. My priority is always to provide a secure, relaxed, and trustworthy space where dogs are well cared for at all times.

About: I have a deep love for animals and have been caring for my own pets for many years. I currently live with my cat Legoshi, who has been part of my family since my partner and I got together—he’s smart, curious, and a little mischievous! Taking care of him has given me hands-on experience with feeding, cleaning, grooming, and understanding animal behavior. I’m patient, attentive, and always treat pets like family. I specialize in dog walking and drop-in visits, and I’m confident handling pets of different sizes and temperaments. I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m available every day of the week, from 6 AM to 7 PM. I’m happy to provide dog walking or drop-in visits during these hours. To make sure I can give your pet the best care and attention, I kindly ask that bookings be confirmed at least 2 days in advance. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! When visiting a pet in their own home, I always make sure the environment is safe, clean, and stress-free. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully when it comes to feeding, walking, or any special needs. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes to make sure your pet is secure at all times. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect—just like family. I believe trust is built through consistency, clear communication, and gentle care. You can count on me to keep your pet safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: 1 year of volunteer at an animal shelter. Taking care of injure dogs and cats. Plenty of experience with senior dogs and puppies with special needs. I recently finished my master degree modules and now I’m just waiting for graduation day. I have plenty of time to take care of pets. From previous experiences as a pet sitter, I follow an schedule that keep the pets busy and entertained. I have the knowledge of what dogs and cats can’t eat or drink.

“We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience this week. Clyde is still only 5 months old and very much a lively, sensitive puppy, so leaving him isn’t something we take lightly. From the start, we felt completely reassured. He was so well cared for, kept active with lovely walks, and clearly given lots of patience and understanding. We really appreciated the updates and knowing he was safe, stimulated and being looked after properly. It made such a difference to our peace of mind. Clyde came home happy (and tired!), which says everything. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy.”

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and I currently have 3!! I’ve also pet sat for both cats and dogs since I was 11 for my local neighbours and family friends. When I was a child I used to walk my neighbours dogs for free because I just enjoyed spending time with animals. I’ve now been using Rover for a year and I love it so much. Looking after animals is just the best job ever and so much less stressful than swimming teaching which is my other part time job. I feel so happy and fulfilled being able to do something I love so much as my job. My boyfriend also uses rover so sometimes we help each other out or join each other on the other ones pet sitting stay as we enjoy being able to spend time together with animals there as well! Sometimes when I go to visit him and he has drop in visits I go along to, because I just wanna go and pet the animals too. I’m currently studying international relations at the uni of Liverpool. It's a low contact hours course so I have lots of free time. I am in a shared student house with 4 other people. We are a house of animal lovers and my house mates are very eager for me to have dogs come and board with me, so they can get some cuddles in themselves. Since moving away from my home in London, I desperately miss my cats, so looking after other animals helps to make me feel much better. Animals have always brought lots of joy to my life and I don't know what I would do if I wasn't able to spend time with them. I like getting out a lot so I enjoy travelling to other peoples homes. I like having lots of structure in my day to day life and looking after animals definitely helps to provide that. I live in university halls which are often very loud and the kitchen is sometimes left very dirty by other people, so I really love house sitting as its like mini holiday away from everyone, where I can get some peace and quiet! I am also a swim teacher however my shifts are never longer than 3 hours so it's very easy to fit my pet care around it. Because I’ve grown up with animals I’m very comfortable with creating boundaries with them and an aggressive animals does not scare me as one of my cats has always been very spicy and grumpy. I’m also used to reading my cats body languages very carefully as they can often just suddenly turn when they decide they have had enough of the petting. All 3 of my cats at home are rescues so I’ve learnt to adapt to their needs. They all have unique and individual personalities that require different things.
About: NEW CUSTOMERS RECEIVE 15% DISCOUNT off their first booking! Happy to meet before any services so you can decide if I’m the right fit for you❤️ 24 year old southerner in Liverpool who has a passion for animal welfare and care🐶🐱. I’ve been around animals my whole life and understand more than anyone how important they are and how quickly they become an integral part of a family unit! As a uni student missing the comfort of home and missing my very own cockalier Milo you’d ideally be doing me as much of a service as I for you! It is because of this that my rates are significantly lower than other walkers may charge. I also have experience in caring for puppies/ kittens as well as senior cats and dogs 💕 As a student, I’m on campus part time during the week.. leaving me at home every other day with buckets of free time! If you have a particular date/ time where you need some extra help please drop me a message and we can definitely work something out! While I do not have a large garden at home, I do live 20 minutes away from Sefton Park and go there as part of my daily routine anyways. I also currently have no other pets on the property and will only look after multiple if pre arranged with their owner/s. If your baby is shy or prefers to be in a house with no other animals that’s absolutely fine and we can accommodate for that☺️

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I love them, I’m proudly owner of two beautiful dogs. Back at home, my family, neighbors and friends have entrusted me with the care of their furry friends. Most of them have been medium size dogs, however, I am open to any size and/or breed, I love them all! Also, I have also rescued some puppies and kittens. As I am a student, I am available 2 days per week and in the weekend, all of them mornings ☀️ and afternoon. So I get to spend lots of time with puppies! I am very careful with each type of canine, as I understand that each of them has its own personality and needs. I am very affectionate and playful with them. Personally, I like to look for safe and preferably enclosed spaces where I can let my dogs loose and give them some free time. However, I will follow all necessary care instructions.
“Ben provided dog walking services for my Italian Greyhound at short notice. My dog instantly warmed to him at the meet and great. Ben followed all instructions given about handling, treats ect. Photos provided and water bowl always refilled. I would highly recommend Ben 😊”

However, I am free on Wednesdays, weekends, and most weekday evenings. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure I can provide reliable, consistent care and give each dog the time and attention they deserve. I offer reliable dog walking and short home visits, keeping your pet happy and comfortable in their own environment. I stick closely to their usual routine, providing exercise, playtime, feeding, and companionship as needed. As a student nurse, I am attentive, responsible, and safety-focused, and I will always treat your home and pet with care and professionalism.

About: I work from home a lot so have lots of time to dedicate to pets. I have been pet sitting on rover and pawshake since 2022, but have pet sit for friends/family previously. I grew up with dogs and have always loved to spend time with animals. My dogs are in the first picture on my profile! Archie (beagle cross) is 14 this year and Oscar (doberdor) sadly passed away last year. I had them both since puppies, as well as a guinea pig and fish! I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets and will provide the same care and love as I’d want for my own. I was responsible for providing medicine when they were ill so I have experience with that. I will put in 100% into the care of your animal and be sure to show him/her a lot of love and provide many photos of your happy pet🥹🐾 I am in University 9-12 on Tuesdays, 11-1 on Wednesdays and 1-4 on Thursdays. I also work a part time in which I choose my own shifts so I am very flexible with my time. I care for pets with consideration for their individual needs and I also respect their owners boundaries, both in their house and outside with their pets.

About: I have completed my zoology degree and have experience at the RSPCA, a doggy day care and a veterinary practise. I also have a CPR certificate specifically for choking or drowning. I work Wednesday to Friday, so I’m fully available for pet care on Mondays, Tuesdays, and some weekends, during these days I am able to do morning or evening walks and check-ins. I am also available Wednesday late afternoon/evenings. I provide care in the pet owner’s home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow your routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. I take time to build trust with each pet, using a calm and patient approach, and I’m attentive to their behaviour and needs. I make sure homes are kept secure, pets are always safe on walks, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so all care is provided in yours.
About: Hi! I’m a dental student who absolutely loves dogs and has grown up with my own family dog (now 12 years old and very well cared for!). I really miss having him around while I’m at university, so I’d love to spend time caring for and walking other dogs. I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Having looked after my own dog for over a decade, I’m confident with feeding routines, administering basic care, and giving lots of affection while keeping boundaries and safety in mind. Whether your dog needs a calm walk, some company during the day, or just extra attention, I’ll treat them as if they were my own 🤍🐾 I plan my week carefully around university, so I can reliably commit to scheduled walks or visits. Evenings and weekends are especially flexible for me, and I genuinely enjoy building dog walks into my routine as a healthy break from studying. When caring for pets, I prioritise safety, routine and calm energy. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding walking routes, boundaries and any specific needs. I ensure dogs are kept secure on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and always provide supervision, affection and reassurance. Having cared for my own dog for 12 years, I understand how important trust and consistency are for both pets and owners.
About: I have assisted and taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. In my family we have always had multiple pets who I have been responsible for. Ranging from giant dog breeds to cats, rabbits and reptiles. I understand animals especially dogs well, being able to understand their body language, if they are stressed, scared or want to play. I am confident with large dogs having had multiple in my family home. I pride myself in having formed strong bonds with all my pets. I currently work from home, so I am available early mornings, lunch time and evenings. this could be for drops in or a Nice walk. I do NOT offer home boarding. However in the owners home I would want to build trust with both pet and the owner. Getting to know the pet first, whst they like and what they may not. Providing a warm caring time for the pet whilst I am there.
“Ebony was so amazing with my dog, so communicative with me and she really takes the time to get to know the dogs she walks. Honestly couldn’t recommend her more, I can’t imagine trusting many people in looking after dingle but I will always trust her”
About: I’ve taken care of my own dog since I was 13 years old. Unfortunately, I moved away and don’t have him with me anymore. This is why I am looking forward to be able to look after your babies without the full commitment of having one of my own I mainly work from home and love being active so it is quite easy for me to look after your dog and taking it with me for a walk or run I love playing with dogs and cats but can give space if needed to. I volunteered at Blue Cross for half year when I was 16 years old. Here I learned quite a lot about the needs of animals in shelter and how to effectively look after them. Can travel to you too if needed and guard for your house and fur baby.

I’m currently working flexibly in a self employed role and therefore have the ability to fit pet care into my day and meet the needs of my clients & their lovely furry companions. Within the visits to yours & your pets home I will ensure I follow any guidance given to me to be respectful & also to not disturb your pets routine. I’ll be keen to learn their likes and dislikes to maintain normalcy for them.

“I had to fly out of the country last minute and had no one to take care of my dog. Charlene was very accommodating even though it was a last minute request! No fuss at all. She sent me videos of Moffie while I was away. Moffie had a great time in her place and even met a new friend as there was another dog staying with her too during that time. If ever I need to be away again, I'd definitely trust her to look after him again! Thank you, Charlene!”

“Lauren was amazing, she kept us updated with lots of photos and Bane felt at home straight away. Lauren was also very flexible and kind when our train was delayed and we were late to pick up Bane. About: My family have always had a dog so lots of experience looking after our furry friends! I would love a dog but I can’t commit to a dog full-time with work so hoping Rover can give me that well wanted quality dog time, happy to look after any breeds and live right by Sefton Park so can make sure perfect location to get some walks and play-time in! I have an office job 9 to 5, but would only accept the booking if I’m working from home in the week which would mean morning and lunch time walks, and play time throughout the day! I live by Sefton Park and Princes Park so perfect location for walks, and if the dog is happy to go in the car even a trip to the beach! I live in a flat, but have a big communal garden where I can take the dog down throughout the day. Not precious about furniture or the dog being crate trained so they can have free rein of the flat.
About: I really like puppies. I used to help my friends take care of their dogs when they were away. I'm looking forward to taking care of your puppy. I will strictly abide by my master's requirements and take my dog to the nearby park on weekends. If you have any requirements, you can tell me in advance, and I will try my best to meet them.

“Opie loved his stayed with Gerrard, he was well looked after and I was kept up to date with everything that he was doing which put my mind at ease. Would definitely ask Gerrard again! Thank you ☺️”
