About: Love dogs so much I even did a dog grooming city and guild. Which also teaches you how wash &dry dogs properly,health care and awareness. Grew up with dogs and had my own working cocker up until couple of years ago when we sadly lost him . I’m retired so have plenty of time on my hands to give your dogs plenty of loving attention. Don’t have my own dog at the moment so no fear of mixing with other dogs. Would not have more than 1 dog at a time. We live in a small cottage in Woolton village with a fully fenced rear garden. Quite and peaceful environment and Perfectly placed by 4 parks within minutes away.
“We dreaded leaving our little dog with anyone but Elizabeth and her family were fantastic with Dudley. Although he has only stayed with her for 1 day and night so far he seemed really settled and happy when we picked him up. Throughout his short stay, Elizabeth kept us up to date with messages and photos which reassured us that he was being well looked after and cared for. We have booked Dudley in for a couple of longer stays with Elizabeth over the coming months and we feel confident in doing so.”

Love getting out and being active Work full time - available evenings on Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm. Free both days on weeks all day. Can be flexible with more notice I live in a flat but I’m right in the front by the water so often out on the promenade walking. Also love to run and just generally be out in nature. Fun person with a lot of energy I’ll keep them entertained

About: I have looked after my friends cats when they have been on holiday many times. They are a mischievous bunch, with a range of personalities, from anxious, to confident, clingy to needing space. This has included cats that are home alone, but also 4 cats at a time. I have given them specialised medicated food when needed. At my mum’s house, I’m greeted by two beautiful Staffies who think they’re tiny lapdogs, and at my dad’s, I have two wonderfully chaotic springer spaniels who never run out of energy, I mean NEVER. Because of this, I’m completely at home with both ends of the canine spectrum — from calm cuddle sessions on the sofa to 5-mile muddy treks through the woods. Whether it’s lounging or adventuring, I’m always ready… wellies included. Currently my partner and I are in full time work as he is working towards his Chartership as a Building Surveyor and I’ve just passed the Bar. We are free most weekends Friday-Sunday and bank holidays so if you and your family fancy some time away we’ve got you covered. We have a fenced garden with patio and plenty of grass to run around in. We are short walks away from Calderstones Park, Sefton Park and Greenbank Park. Me and my partner love a long walk and picking up a warm coffee and a sweet treat so your dogs steps are guarenteed. We have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and also an additional living room. We have no other pets so anxious/ nervous dogs or pet owners don’t need to worry about introducing other animals.

About: I've had a dog since I was 8. I have a genuine love for them. I understand that they are more than pets they are loving members of our families that we care about like children. I understand their traits, what they are trying to tell just by paying attention. I have a wonderful dog myself and he loves playing with other dogs. I think it would lovely for him to have a playmate. I would take care of your dog like they were my own, it would be what I want for my own dog when he is being minded. Your dog would be walked two to three times a day, they would have full access to the house and every effort will be made for their comfort physically and emotionally. Also as a side note I used to foster dogs when they were looking for a forever home, these dogs had different emotional needs and sometimes had suffered some past trauma. I work from home, I have flexible hours so we can go on walks in the 6 different parks that we have locally. I like to walk in nature and enjoy the park visits each day. Also there a big enough garden for a good zoomie and ball play. There is only me in the house so they would get my undivided attention. I have a dog who has the best temperament, he's super friendly and great with other dogs. Your dog would feel right at home, I would be keeping an eye on your dog at all times and keep them safe and happy. Its rewarding for me to have their company, so I get as much enjoyment as they do. If your dog is anxious or nervous in certain environments that's not a problem, I can adapt to their needs. Your dog will be treated like a loved one.

About: I am an experienced dog owner seeking furry companionship following my soul dog’s departure to the rainbow bridge🌈 I spent the last 14 years taking care of Pie, a patterdale terrier, who we adopted from the Dog’s Trust when he was two years old. In his golden years, Pie developed painful cataracts in his eyes due to the diabetes his breed is prone to, resulting in the removal of his eyes. Ever the trooper, Pie was an absolute star for his twice-daily insulin injections, regular pet visits and adapting to life without sight. His quality of life was of utmost priority, and I spent a long time working with him to find out what worked best for his specific needs as a blind senior dog. Therefore, I am well equipped to take care of dogs with special needs and senior dogs, alongside any other of your delightful four legged friends! Cats too! I don’t discriminate 🥰 I am an art teacher based in South Liverpool and am keen for some animal time over summer and during my evenings, weekends and half terms Happy to answer any pet-related questions - just drop me a message! I am a teacher, so my main availability is late afternoons and evenings throughout the week. I am fully available on weekends and during summer holidays and half terms I live off a main road and have a small, private garden, close by to many grassy outdoor spaces such as Sefton Park. About: I have cared for my gorgeous hunting dog Odie for over 7 years now. I have previously had many family pets including 3 dogs. I am a pationate cat and dog lover and I am here to make your pets feel special and loved when in my care. I am free to walk your dog or do a cat drop in anytime after 9am, I am flexible throughout the day and can adjust to your pets needs. If your dog needs a longer walk or you would like him to take the trip to the woods or go somewhere quieter, anything can be arranged. About: I now have a gorgeous cockerpoo who is a rescue dog, she is 11 years old. Bella is very with friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. Previously I had a German Shepherd who was also a rescue dog and an absolute gorgeous being. I believe that dogs know who they want to be around, they will tell you if I am the right sitter for you. About: •I Have had a retired racing greyhound for 6 years- so understand dogs with high prey drive •I volunteer at a greyhound rescue centre- so have experienced a range of different temperaments •I study Zoology at University I enjoy cooking, getting outside and going to the gym as well as the occasional pub trip with friends. I’m not currently employed so looking after your pet won’t be a problem at all. I use a crate for my own dog at night in our household but understand not all people do the same so can easily adapt to what your “rules” are. I believe in positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviours and think punishment is not something to be justified in any circumstance. I have a fenced garden and know the importance of checking for closed gates as I personally don’t fancy chasing after the second fastest land mammal 🤣!
About: My love for animals developed from owning my own dogs continuously since a child and being around/looking after family and friends pets my whole life. At the moment I currently don’t own my own pet which after always having pets is why I feel the need to still care for animals and spend time with them. I've looked after a range of breeds and ages - from a puppy cockerspaniel through to a big and energetic Golden Doodle - and understand every dog is different. I'll get to know your pet's personality, what they like and their routines so staying with me feels like a home away from home. I am self-employed and work from home, so I'll always be around to give cuddles and lots of attention. Sefton Park, Princes Park and Otterspool Promenade are all a ten minute walk form my house. So, there are plenty of lovely green space for us to go and explore together! I am self-employed and work from home, which means I can adapt to your pet's routine and have plenty of time for cuddles and play. I have a walled yard - perfect for dogs who like to chill in the outdoors. I have a three bedroom house, so there's plenty of room for your pet to wander around indoors. Dog are allowed upstairs.

About: I’m currently dog sitting 2 greyhounds weekly and we connected via another site (BMD) and it’s been going so well, I’ve done this weekly for nearly a year. I grew up with 2 boxers and have walked up to 4 dogs at one time from the age of 10 onwards. Dogs are my life! I work from home 3 days a week, we have a large flat with garden access and we are 5 min walk from Sefton park. I’m happy to have dogs in my home while I wfh, and to take them out at lunch times and feed them/give fuss throughout the day. Most WFH afternoons are spent with a dog on my lap or by my side! I currently do a mix of going to other peoples homes or having dogs in my home, depending on my schedule and how easily I can get to the other persons home. Please note our flat is up one flight of stairs, and there are stairs at the back of the house to get into the secure garden.
