“Nicola and her family looked after Charlie so well. Not only were they flexible around changing times and able to accommodate them, they were able to manage his separation anxiety very well. I would definitely recommend Nicola and her lovely family, and I would definitely ask Nicola if Charlie could board with them again.”

“Second time Paddy has stayed, and as before, Helen and Alex were great and Paddy enjoyed himself. Took extra care of him during the recent heat wave and were very accomodating. Both Helen and Alex are dead nice and easygoing. When I needed to change the original booking by adding an extra day, they fitted it around their existing arrangements.”

“We dreaded leaving our little dog with anyone but Elizabeth and her family were fantastic with Dudley. Although he has only stayed with her for 1 day and night so far he seemed really settled and happy when we picked him up. Throughout his short stay, Elizabeth kept us up to date with messages and photos which reassured us that he was being well looked after and cared for. We have booked Dudley in for a couple of longer stays with Elizabeth over the coming months and we feel confident in doing so.”

“Matthew was superb with Daisy from beginning to end,I was so nervous about leaving her as was worried she be fretting for us but from the minute we took her my mind was put at ease, she absolutely loved her stay,we were kept up to date with texts and photos of her on her walks and having treats, you could she was getting spoilt rotten and loving it!if your looking for someone to mind your pet,I’d 100% recommend Matthew, will definitely use him everytime we need Daisy minding”

“Our dog isn’t used to staying with others (and we’re quite precious about leaving him with people) but it was clear from the minute we arrived that he would feel safe and comfortable with Lauren and her household. She handled all of his quirks with kindness and a sense of humour, was great about our timings being a bit unpredictable and allowed us to feel 100% confident that our dog was in good hands. Slightly worried the dog would rather live with Lauren and Winnie but we will definitely reach out to them again!”

“Very grateful to grace we needed an emergency dog minder asap we dropped Tilly off within 30 mins after she agreed. Lovely girl who kept us informed how Tilly was couldn’t ask for anyone better really. Would definitely use grace again thanks again”

“Minnie had a great time with Joanne and it was clear they had developed a good bond, so I couldn't have been happier. I recieved regular updates while away too, which was reassuring. I am so pleased I chose Joanne and would reccomend her to anyone. Thank you to Rover and Joanne for you careing service”

“Abby looked after our dog so well. It was a last minute booking and she stepped up just in time for our trip. She made the effort to come out before the trip at short notice to meet our dog. “Fran looked after our two cats while we were away and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. One of our cats is very nervous around people she doesn’t know, so we were a little worried about leaving her, but Fran was patient and understanding and clearly took the time to make sure both cats were well cared for. He sent us photos and updates every day, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was lovely to see the cats looking relaxed and happy, and to know they were being looked after so well. Reliable, caring and great at keeping us updated. Thank you, Fran!”

“Ezra was a wonderful sitter for our cat and provided a great service; sending regular updates and providing a lot of flexibility and reassurance. I would recommend Ezra as a reliable, friendly and caring friend for your pet while you are away!”

I would certainly recommend Heather and would use her again in the future!”

About: My partner and I have both grown up surrounded by animals — from dogs and cats to rabbits and even horses. Having pets has always been a big part of our lives and our homes never felt complete without them. We’ve recently bought our first home in Mossley Hill, and although our current schedules don’t allow us to have pets of our own, we really miss that familiar comfort animals bring. By looking after your pet while you’re away, we hope to give you peace of mind while also getting the joy of having a furry friend back in our home. Trust me— you’ll be going us a favour. I’ve never known a life without animals — pets have been a constant source of joy, responsibility, and companionship for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by rescue dogs at my gran’s, each with their own story and quirks, which taught me patience and empathy from an early age. At my mum’s house, I’m greeted by two beautiful Staffies who think they’re tiny lapdogs, and at my dad’s, I have two wonderfully chaotic springer spaniels who never run out of energy, I mean NEVER. Because of this, I’m completely at home with both ends of the canine spectrum — from calm cuddle sessions on the sofa to 5-mile muddy treks through the woods. Whether it’s lounging or adventuring, I’m always ready… wellies included. Currently my partner and I are in full time work as he is working towards his Chartership as a Building Surveyor and I’ve just passed the Bar. We are free most weekends Friday-Sunday and bank holidays so if you and your family fancy some time away we’ve got you covered. We have a fenced garden with patio and plenty of grass to run around in. We are short walks away from Calderstones Park, Sefton Park and Greenbank Park. Me and my partner love a long walk and picking up a warm coffee and a sweet treat so your dogs steps are guarenteed. We have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and also an additional living room. We have no other pets so anxious/ nervous dogs or pet owners don’t need to worry about introducing other animals.

“Emily has been fantastic! My little boy went wandering for a couple of days while I was away which he can do sometimes and Emily went above and beyond to get him back from the vets and kept me updated the whole time. I’d highly recommend Emily to look after your pets. I’ll definitely be using Emily again in the future x”

“Beth did a great job looking after Jolene whilst we were away. Great contact & shared lots of pictures & updates, she even managed to turn her into a lap cat which is a great compliment to her as Jolene can be quite a tough audience! Would definitely recommend Beth and will book again.”

“It was our first time having drop in visits but Smudge was happy to see Tianya. The updates she provided showed how happy he was and it was great to see so many photos while we were away.”

“Emma is a gem! She was wonderful, meticulous and took the best care of Cuddles. I got regular updates and pictures so I was able to enjoy my holiday without worrying and she was even kind enough to accept and store our weekly food delivery! She's definitely our go to sitter from now on and we highly recommend her.”

“We booked Gareth in a rush when a friend had to cancel last minute because of Covid. He was very communicative and flexible. We got daily updates with photos and videos of a very contented cat. Gareth even watered our plants for us! Would definitely recommend.”

“Erin kindly looked after our very shy cat. She kept us up to date every visit including pictures. She was incredibly reliable, and has brilliant natural ability with cats! I would recommend her to anyone needing a cat sitter.”

“I'd recommend Phillipa to any cat owner. Communication was fantastic both pre and during booking, and she was completely reliable. She took amazing care of my very shy cat- sitting in the garden with her to make sure she had outside time, and being really gentle with her. I was amazed how she got our cat to trust her.”

“Alexandra is so lovely! I am always worried to go on holiday and trusting someone to mind my diva cat, However my hearts at rest knowing she is in the best hands. She took to Alexandra straight away, and I know she will have a lovely time being in her attentive company!”

“George has always been fantastic and super dependable. Great with Reggie (lab puppy) who adores him. Sends great pics throughout his visit and couldn’t be happier with George. Very understanding and flexible, even biked round to help my sister in law out when she forgot her key! Great guy”

“Wren really enjoyed his time with Hannah. Hannah took really good care of him and was not phased by the various quirks Wren has. Hannah’s communication was great. Wren is looking forward to spending time with Hannah again soon.”

“A big thank you to Helen and Alex for looking after our mini labradoodle Oscar on Sunday! It was Oscar’s first stay and he was made to feel so welcome and had a lovely day! Communication was great during the day, Oscar can’t wait to come back and stay in a couple of weeks!”

“This is the second time Jess minded my doggy. She is kind and thoughtful and listened well to everything I explained about my dogs needs (separation anxiety etc). I am definitely going to rebook again!”

“This was our first go ever using Rover and we were delighted with how it all went from start to finish. Elisha had great communication with us before the visit. On the day she greeted us in the street and made a fuss of Kaiser so he was more than willing to go in her home. I sensed that she knew dog behaviour very well and that was a comfort to us as kaiser is an aging boy. Thanks a million Elisha, we wouldn’t have any doubts in using you again 10/10”

About: I have a dog of my own and he’s genuinely my baby! I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable and confident with the person looking after your pet, and I would always treat someone else’s dog exactly how I’d expect my own to be treated. I’m caring, attentive and reliable, and I’m more than happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles or just keeping them company. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, so I’ll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel happy and comfortable with me. I’d also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, because I know I’d want exactly the same if somebody was looking after mine! 🐾 I work full time during the week but I work from home a couple of days, so I can be really flexible around this. I’m also available most weekends and happy to work around your dog’s usual routine. I’ll always make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and of course lots of cuddles! 🐾 I have a dog of my own so I completely understand how important it is to trust the person looking after them! I’ll always treat your dog exactly how I’d want mine to be treated and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m happy to follow any routines or instructions you have and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos too! 🐾
“Pablo always enjoys his stay at Sofia’s, he’s so well cared for and exercised. Loves playing with Stanley and the other resident dogs. Sofia is a top doggy host; accommodating, friendly and a true dog person!”

About: Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Now that I’m retired, I have more time to give pets attention, company and care. I love walking my own dogs in the woods, throwing toys for my cat to chase, and I regularly help my kids with their pets when they're away. I regularly look after both cats and dogs and understand that every animal has their own personality, routines and needs. I also have experience of caring for pets who need a little extra attention. I’ve administered medication and have cared for my son’s cat, who has thyroid problems, so I understand the importance of following routines carefully and making sure medication is given as instructed. Having lived with pets for so many years, I know how important it is to leave them with someone you can trust. I’ll treat your pets like I would if they were my own and I'll make sure they are safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to fit pet visits around my day. I’m generally available during the week and can arrange visits around the routine that works best for you and your cat. I’m happy to pop in for feeding, fresh water, litter trays and some company, as well as giving medication if needed. I’ll always make sure I understand your cat’s usual routine before you go so I can keep things as normal as possible for them. I know it can be a big thing trusting someone to look after your cat and have access to your home, so I take that responsibility seriously. When I’m visiting your home, I’ll make sure doors and windows are secure, follow your instructions carefully and keep to your cat’s usual routine as much as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter tray and plenty of attention if they want it. I have experience with cats who need medication, and I’m happy to follow clear instructions and give medication as part of their normal routine. I’ll also keep you updated while you’re away, including letting you know how your cat is doing and flagging anything unusual. Most importantly, I’ll treat your home and your cat with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show my own.

About: Hi, I am a reliable and friendly dog lover who would absolutely love to give your dog some extra company, attention and fuss. I have a dog of my own, Hattie, who is a 10 year old golden cocker spaniel, so I am very used to having a dog around and understanding that they all have their own personalities, needs and routines. I also regularly spend time looking after my aunties dog Darcy - an 8 year old springer spaniel - including looking after her on my own, so I am comfortable and confident caring for dogs independently and making sure they're happy, safe and well looked after. I have always loved being around dogs and love going for walks, playing with them and giving them lots of attention. Whether your dog needs a walk, some company during the day or someone to look after them while you are away, I'll treat them with the same love and care I'd want someone to give Hattie. I am responsible, caring and reliable and I will always make sure you feel comfortable knowing your dog is in good hands. I'd love the opportunity to meet some new furry friends and become someone that both you and your dog can rely on! I am currently doing a research masters at the University of Liverpool so will have time midweek to walk and check in on your pet as well as weekends. I can do daytime or evenings, whatever is best for you. I am unable to have pets stay in my own home so I offer care in the pet owners home. I think this can be really beneficial for the dog as they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment while you are away. I am more than happy to follow their usual routine, including walks, feeding, playtime and plenty of attention and cuddles. I'll take the time to get to know each dog and their individual needs, and I'll ensure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable throughout my visit. I will make sure that their walks are suited to their age, personality and energy levels, and I am of course happy to follow any specific instructions you have. I am also happy to keep you updated with messages and photos while you are away, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is being well looked after.

About: Having recently moved away from home and my miniature dachshund, I’m very much missing spending time with animals! I’ve trained and cared for my dog since she was a puppy all the way up to her senior years, along with walking and pet sitting both dogs and cats for family and friends. I’m currently in my third year of university, so have lots of flexibility during the week and am fully available most weekends to walk and look after your furry friends! I am unable to bring pets into my house as I am currently renting, but have lots of experience looking after dogs and cats in their own homes!
“Liam stepped in last minute to walk our dog Mabel while we were on holiday . He offered to pop round to meet her first as we've never used Rover before and wanted to check she was OK. He was also flexible due to the hot weather and we have had no grumbles from Mabel. Would defo use again. Thanks Liam 👍”

“Jess has been great with my 9-month-old Cocker spaniel, Reggie. He's a nervous puppy and quite apprehensive of people, but Jess has been so patient with him and clearly has a great understanding of and love for dogs. I'd definitely recommend Jess!”

“Caroline was fantastic, our 3 dogs had a lovely time with her. Communication before, during and after was great, updates and photos appreciated. Highly recommended. Thank you for looking after them so well!”

“George is excellent with our GSP Kaiser. He was able to accommodate a change in booking at very short notice as my husband had injured his knee. Thank You George very much appreciated !!”

“I’m so pleased with the care Daisy gets from Dilki & Chamy whilst on her walks. She’s a senior rescue dog and my much loved “chaos hippo”. They’re patient and kind with her, taking the time to get to know her and her little quirks. Communication is great. I love getting so many photos of Daisy out on her walks. It’s lovely to see what she’s been up to and reassuring to know she’s in caring hands. Finding people you trust with your dog means a lot, especially with an older rescue. Would happily recommend!”

About: I have had pets around me my whole life and am very comfortable with walking, feeding and giving them cuddles. I have done pet sitting consistently since I was 14 and look after my own dog myself when my parents are abroad. I love being around all kinds of pets and am keen to gain experience where needed. I am a student at university and so during term time I would like to take care of pets in the late afternoon and evenings as well as any time on the weekends. However, during holidays I am keen to work at whatever time works best for pet owners and I am highly flexible. At my university house and my summer home I have a fully fenced garden that is dog proofed. In my summer home I have one small Yorkshire Terrier who gets along with other dogs (she’s the boss of the house). Both houses offer a comfortable environment with blankets to snuggle on and food and water.
“I have been having Alex walk my puppy for a few weeks now. Alex is punctual, always turns up with willingness. Never lets us down. Alex is even bringing treats and teaching my puppy. My puppy loves her coming and they are building such a nice bond. Alex sends me photos and communicates so well. Would be lost without her!”

I am comfortable staying with your pet at your own home, giving them the companionship and playtime in their own setting. I love taking them for walks and giving some enrichment and excercise. Ideally near Aigburth or south Liverpool, but I also have a car. I have dbs and local community references.

“Thank you so much Kate for looking after Alvin when we were let down at the last minute. Kate sent regular updates and pictures throughout Alvin's stay and we could tell how comfortable and happy he looked (which put us at ease while we were away). Alvin loved spending time with Ulla, the pup, and got comfy in the pub (his favourite place!). Thank you so much Kate. We would definitely book again x”

“Saoirse was amazing with my dixie xx I couldn’t have found any one better. Dixie hasn’t had the best experiences with boarding which has left her extremely stressed and we really needed someone to have patience, love, cuddles and time for her xx And that’s exactly what she got with Saoirse xx I received pictures, updates which made me feel incredibly calm knowing she was comfortable and in safe loving hands xxx I can’t thank you enough and how amazing and chilled she was returning home xx I will absolutely because using Saoirse again xxx see you soon xxx”

“We couldn’t thank Jack enough for looking after our family Dog, Narla! We would 100% recommend him, we booked Jack quite last minute and he was very accommodating and I was able to meet and greet Jack in his home prior to Narla staying for the weekend, which put my mind at ease knowing she would be well looked after! Jack sent regular updates and photos throughout and treated Narla like his own! Thanks again, we will be rebooking 😊 x”

“Martyna was sending us regular updates, photos, and videos, I could see that Onyx had plenty of walks provided, a lot of play with balls and other dogs. At the end Onyx wasn't sure if she wants to go back home with us 😂”

“Wonderful host!! Murray was so well looked after on his little holiday. Amy & family are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble, update photos & messages were lovely & reassuring as it was Murray’s first time away from home (& mine away from him!) Can’t recommend Amy & family highly enough - thanks so much.”

“Benji came home very happy and tired after his weekend with Kieran and Otis. Kieran was very communicative both during the booking process and throughout the weekend sending updates and photos of Benji settling in and on his walks. An excellent pet sitter we will definitely ask again.”

“Vaiva and Vasco are very caring people who made Wicklow feel at home from the word go. I was never concerned about her being looked after in their care. Lovely updates and photos equally put our minds at rest. I got the sense that Wicklow might have liked to stay a bit longer! 😂 Would highly recommend”

“Roisin was amazing to book with. We met prior to her minding Toby and everything went smoothly with the booking, she genuinely looked after him like he was her own pet! She stayed in touch with lots of pictures and kept us updated, would highly recommend and would 100% use again.”

“It’s hassle and guilt free doggy care. Our Maggie loves Lisa’s. We pick her up and she doesn’t know who to run to, us or Lisa. Maggie is always happy when we arrive at Lisa’s house. Thanks again for a great stay x”

“We can't thank Paul enough, he's looked after our dog loads now and has just had her for 3 nights over a long weekend. Paul keeps us updated and we know she's safe and happy with him. We've used a few different sitters but Paul really is the best.”

“Booked sassie in for a weekend hike with Lea and the service couldn't of been better. This is the first time I've had a sitter for Sassie, being a german pointer she can be quite a handful and needs lots exercise and attention. Lea took Sassie for a big walk in snowdonia, we agreed a route in advance and i was updated throughout the day with some amazing pictures where Sassie looked to be having a great time. Lea even washed Sassie after the walk, she was cleaner than when i dropped her off! I will definitely be booking another hike as Lea goes regularly and Sassie loved her. Thanks again”
