About: I have cared for my gorgeous hunting dog Odie for over 7 years now. I have previously had many family pets including 3 dogs. I am a pationate cat and dog lover and I am here to make your pets feel special and loved when in my care. I am free to walk your dog or do a cat drop in anytime after 9am, I am flexible throughout the day and can adjust to your pets needs. If your dog needs a longer walk or you would like him to take the trip to the woods or go somewhere quieter, anything can be arranged. I have a car, which I can use to transport your dog to go for a ‘wilder’ walk or for a vets trip. I will always provide the safest environment and utmost care.
“Emilly is a caring girl and she was excellent with our cats. When we came back from our trip, both Dolly and Jimmy were well fed. Will definitely go back to Emily next time we’re out of town☺️”
About: My partner and I have both grown up surrounded by animals — from dogs and cats to rabbits and even horses. Having pets has always been a big part of our lives and our homes never felt complete without them. We’ve recently bought our first home in Mossley Hill, and although our current schedules don’t allow us to have pets of our own, we really miss that familiar comfort animals bring. By looking after your pet while you’re away, we hope to give you peace of mind while also getting the joy of having a furry friend back in our home. Trust me— you’ll be going us a favour. I’ve never known a life without animals — pets have been a constant source of joy, responsibility, and companionship for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by rescue dogs at my gran’s, each with their own story and quirks, which taught me patience and empathy from an early age. At my mum’s house, I’m greeted by two beautiful Staffies who think they’re tiny lapdogs, and at my dad’s, I have two wonderfully chaotic springer spaniels who never run out of energy, I mean NEVER. Because of this, I’m completely at home with both ends of the canine spectrum — from calm cuddle sessions on the sofa to 5-mile muddy treks through the woods. Whether it’s lounging or adventuring, I’m always ready… wellies included. Currently my partner and I are in full time work as he is working towards his Chartership as a Building Surveyor and I’ve just passed the Bar. We are free most weekends Friday-Sunday and bank holidays so if you and your family fancy some time away we’ve got you covered. We have a fenced garden with patio and plenty of grass to run around in. We are short walks away from Calderstones Park, Sefton Park and Greenbank Park. Me and my partner love a long walk and picking up a warm coffee and a sweet treat so your dogs steps are guarenteed. We have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and also an additional living room. We have no other pets so anxious/ nervous dogs or pet owners don’t need to worry about introducing other animals.
“Caroline was a perfect cat sitter for my two girls, very friendly and professional. She took care of all their needs and made sure they got some fuss and play time too. I couldn't have asked for better, thank you so much for taking care of my girls over the festive season!”

About: I have had pets around me my whole life and am very comfortable with walking, feeding and giving them cuddles. I have done pet sitting consistently since I was 14 and look after my own dog myself when my parents are abroad. I love being around all kinds of pets and am keen to gain experience where needed. I am a student at university and so during term time I would like to take care of pets in the late afternoon and evenings as well as any time on the weekends. However, during holidays I am keen to work at whatever time works best for pet owners and I am highly flexible. At my university house and my summer home I have a fully fenced garden that is dog proofed. In my summer home I have one small Yorkshire Terrier who gets along with other dogs (she’s the boss of the house). Both houses offer a comfortable environment with blankets to snuggle on and food and water.

“Beth did a great job looking after Jolene whilst we were away. Great contact & shared lots of pictures & updates, she even managed to turn her into a lap cat which is a great compliment to her as Jolene can be quite a tough audience! Would definitely recommend Beth and will book again.”

“I can't recommend Jess enough especially if your dog is reactive or anxious. Jess has a lot of empathy and very good understanding of dogs behaviour. She was really patient with my rescue dog and provided regular updates after each visit.”

“Hands down the best pet sitters I have ever booked with. Despite having quite a few pets to take care of, first time booking with them and also late notice, they did an amazing job on taking care of them. My cats and dog love them, they seemed to have a fun time together. Will definitely book them again. Thank you so much Dilki and Chamy❤️”

“Fantastic as always, our cat loves Emily! Emily takes time to stay and give her company for a while, not just pop in and feed, and she send us photos and videos. She also cleaned up after our cat made a mess and was lovely about it, very much appreciated indeed.”

“Absolutely amazing Tianya is looking after Cairo and she’s doing an absolute amazing job with him! He’s always well fed, played with and given the best treatment. I’ve always been sceptical of leaving my boy with anyone but for the first time I’ve used this app/someone and Tianya is simply amazing. Words don’t do enough justice as to how amazing she truly is🥰👏🏽”

Through my work, I have developed a calm, patient and nurturing approach, as well as being highly responsible and reliable. I understand how important it is to feel confident that someone looking after your pet will treat them with the same love, attention and care that you would. I've always loved being around animals and enjoy spending time outdoors, walking and exploring. I'm happy to adapt to your pet's individual personality and needs, whether they're energetic and playful, nervous and need a gentle approach, or simply love lots of cuddles and company! I can offer plenty of affection, attention, playtime and companionship, while also following your usual routines and instructions carefully. I understand that every pet is different, and I'll always take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe, happy and comfortable. Your pet's wellbeing will always be my priority, and I'll make sure they're treated like part of the family while they're in my care. 🐶🐱💛 I’m at university every Wednesday and Thursday and I have a bank support worker job. Due to my job being bank and not contracted hours I can be more flexible with my time for looking after pets if I have plenty of notice. If it’s last minute I may only be free a couple days a week. Your pet's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my highest priority. I understand that every animal has different needs, routines and personalities, so I will always take the time to listen carefully to your instructions and follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible. When caring for pets in their own home, I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I will ensure doors and gates are securely closed, follow feeding and exercise instructions, and keep a close eye on your pet at all times. I have over 10 years of experience working in caring and support roles, which has helped me develop a calm, patient, responsible and trustworthy approach. I understand how important trust is when leaving someone responsible for a loved one, and I will always communicate clearly and provide reassurance and updates while your pet is in my care. I will make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, affection, exercise and companionship, while always respecting their individual boundaries and needs. My aim is for both you and your pet to feel safe, comfortable and completely at ease.
“I'd recommend Phillipa to any cat owner. Communication was fantastic both pre and during booking, and she was completely reliable. She took amazing care of my very shy cat- sitting in the garden with her to make sure she had outside time, and being really gentle with her. I was amazed how she got our cat to trust her.”

“Alex was the most perfect pet sitter! An absolutely lovely human being, I would trust her with my cat any day of the week. She sent updates, took care of him even though he has medicines to take as well and he seemed very happy when I came back. He's such a shy boy I think he apreciated Alex respecting him while taking such good care of him. Thank you, Alex!”

“George has always been fantastic and super dependable. Great with Reggie (lab puppy) who adores him. Sends great pics throughout his visit and couldn’t be happier with George. Very understanding and flexible, even biked round to help my sister in law out when she forgot her key! Great guy”

About: My love for animals developed from owning my own dogs continuously since a child and being around/looking after family and friends pets my whole life. At the moment I currently don’t own my own pet which after always having pets is why I feel the need to still care for animals and spend time with them. Whether it’s walking or sitting, I love meeting new furry friends and helping them feel safe and secure around unfamiliar environments/people, as well as giving them the love and care they need to feel comfortable. I have been doing Rover for nearly 3 years now! I work from home as a graphic designer, so I am free during the week to look after your pet at your needs, being able to sit and walk them whenever. I live within 1 minute walking distance to Princes Park and Sefton Park so toilet breaks and nice walks can be available whenever! There are no other pets in my own home, which might make your pet feel more at ease. I offer walks, boarding and home visits!

I grew up with a weimaraner called tess, a lhasa apso called lily, before we got our current family dogs, two miniature schnauzers called ted and bruno. Whatever type of dog or temperament, big, small, nervous, playful, male or female, pup or elderly, I have cared for one and will most definitely love them! I also have experience lead and recall training dogs, and have long lead and clicking equipment to help out! I’m a gigging musician who often is off touring on weekends. Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Mossley Hill
We feel Lauren really cared for and looked after our two cats Peaches and Jessie. Even when they both expressed their own sense of nervousness whilst we were away. We looked forward to our daily updates. Which were very informative and the pictures were a bonus as well. Lauren proved herself to be very competent and we would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much again Lauren
Beth did a great job looking after Jolene whilst we were away. Great contact & shared lots of pictures & updates, she even managed to turn her into a lap cat which is a great compliment to her as Jolene can be quite a tough audience! Would definitely recommend Beth and will book again.

Emily has been fantastic! My little boy went wandering for a couple of days while I was away which he can do sometimes and Emily went above and beyond to get him back from the vets and kept me updated the whole time. I’d highly recommend Emily to look after your pets. I’ll definitely be using Emily again in the future x

Lucy looked after my cat Lenny while I was away for the weekend. Lenny is a shy boy and after moving house recently has been quite nervous about anyone other than myself being in the house. I have used Lucy before but not needed to for almost a year. He obviously remembered her kindness because he was literally eating out of her hand on the first visit. I was so delighted he was happy and relaxed without me there and was able to enjoy my weekend worry free knowing Lucy was looking after him.

Molly took excellent care of my cat, Frela, during four days of check-in visits. She made sure Frela was fed, cleaned her litter tray, and kept me updated after every visit with messages about what Frela was doing and how she was feeling. I especially appreciated the photos she sent each time, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Molly was always quick to respond to my messages, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure Frela was happy and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Claire was fantastic! She took great care of my baby and kept me updated every day with photos and messages on WhatsApp, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away :) Bobo is usually very reserved and can be quite wary of new people, but he responded really well to Claire, which says a lot. It was clear he was comfortable and well looked after.. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Claire again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.
Isabela, came in at short notice and was able to manage my cats and home. She provided daily feedback and Stella even took to her within the first visit. The cats bowls and litter tray were cleaned out prior to my arrival home which saved me a job in the early hours. MT
