About: Me and my family have had dogs all my life, as well as other pets. I love dogs, and I'd like to think they naturally gravitate to me too. I work from home, but can spare time during certain weekdays to help get some pooches some fresh air! I work from home at least 3 times a week with flexible hours. Let me know when your dog needs walking and I should be able to fit it into my schedule as long as it's before 4pm Not applicable as I am offering dog walking service only. May be available to care for pets at my home some time in the future.
About: Growing up as a family of 9 (5 humans, 4 dogs) my daily routine has always revolved around walks, puppy pampering and endless cuddles! Unfortunately I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment and I can definitely feel the gap in my life where they would usually be. Therefore, I love caring for other peoples four legged family members and giving them the love and attention that I would give to my own! I provide a cosy loving home for weekend boarding, morning and evening walks. I will happily care for dogs of any age - from playful puppies to seniors who prefer a calmer slower pace and anything in between! Previously, I have raised and cared for a litter of puppies as well as caring for senior dogs with dementia. Therefore I understand the unique needs and routines each dog will have. I have experience looking after various different dog breeds, specifically springer spaniels, jack Russell terriers and miniature dachshunds. I’m very familiar with how their unique personalities require a different approach, from my clingy and energetic spaniel who loves a long walk and hates being left alone, to my sassy and stubborn sausage who wants to do everything on her own terms. I’m happy to adapt to whatever it is that they need! I currently work as a physio in the NHS and while I love caring for humans in my day job, I love to spend my weekends and evenings caring for furry friends instead! I love walking and getting my steps in (rain or shine) and there’s no better way to do that than with a dog! I’m available for weekend boarding so both you and your pups can enjoy a weekend getaway! A typical weekend for me usually involves several longer walks, trips to lark lane and cosy evenings watching TV. I usually work 8.30-4.30 during the week however at times my schedule can be flexible. I’m an early riser and love a walk before or after work - or both! I have a secure fenced back garden with a small patch of grass where your dog can happily play. In my home dogs are welcome wherever they are happiest whether that is in their own crate or bed or on the sofa with me. There are no children or other pets in the house so they will have all the attention to themselves!

About: I have cared for and owned dogs since I was 12 (35 years and counting!). I absolutely love dogs and think you can never have enough of them in your life. Have lots of experience with dogs of all ages, and have cared for some lovely elderly rescue dogs. I work full time but 3 days a week from home until 3pm. On my office days I am available from 5pm and throughout Saturdays I live in a secure apartment on Aigburth Road, with a patch of grass for toileting. I am equidistant to Sefton Park and Princes Park, so lots of opportunities for nice, safe walks

About: I am 29 years old and I have been raised with 3 dogs, from puppies into their elderly years. They have been a range of breeds, and some have suffered with anxiety, and needed a lot of care and reassurance. I also have experience of feeding many cats when my friends have gone of holiday, providing the love, care and attention they need whilst their families are away. I currently work a 9 day fortnight, so I am mainly available on weekends, but also some Mondays. I hybrid work, but would not provide a service unless I was going to be home all day, to ensure your furry friend isn't lonely. I have a medium sized yard, but plenty of space for your pets toilet trips. I also have access to lots of outdoor space locally, where I often take my family pets, who love it. Your pets would have free range in our home to ensure they feel comfortable.
About: I have cared for my gorgeous hunting dog Odie for over 7 years now. I have previously had many family pets including 3 dogs. I am a pationate cat and dog lover and I am here to make your pets feel special and loved when in my care. I am free to walk your dog or do a cat drop in anytime after 9am, I am flexible throughout the day and can adjust to your pets needs. If your dog needs a longer walk or you would like him to take the trip to the woods or go somewhere quieter, anything can be arranged. I have a car, which I can use to transport your dog to go for a ‘wilder’ walk or for a vets trip. I will always provide the safest environment and utmost care.
“Absolutely amazing Tianya is looking after Cairo and she’s doing an absolute amazing job with him! He’s always well fed, played with and given the best treatment. I’ve always been sceptical of leaving my boy with anyone but for the first time I’ve used this app/someone and Tianya is simply amazing. Words don’t do enough justice as to how amazing she truly is🥰👏🏽”

About: My partner and I have both grown up surrounded by animals — from dogs and cats to rabbits and even horses. Having pets has always been a big part of our lives and our homes never felt complete without them. We’ve recently bought our first home in Mossley Hill, and although our current schedules don’t allow us to have pets of our own, we really miss that familiar comfort animals bring. By looking after your pet while you’re away, we hope to give you peace of mind while also getting the joy of having a furry friend back in our home. Trust me— you’ll be going us a favour. I’ve never known a life without animals — pets have been a constant source of joy, responsibility, and companionship for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by rescue dogs at my gran’s, each with their own story and quirks, which taught me patience and empathy from an early age. At my mum’s house, I’m greeted by two beautiful Staffies who think they’re tiny lapdogs, and at my dad’s, I have two wonderfully chaotic springer spaniels who never run out of energy, I mean NEVER. Because of this, I’m completely at home with both ends of the canine spectrum — from calm cuddle sessions on the sofa to 5-mile muddy treks through the woods. Whether it’s lounging or adventuring, I’m always ready… wellies included. Currently my partner and I are in full time work as he is working towards his Chartership as a Building Surveyor and I’ve just passed the Bar. We are free most weekends Friday-Sunday and bank holidays so if you and your family fancy some time away we’ve got you covered. We have a fenced garden with patio and plenty of grass to run around in. We are short walks away from Calderstones Park, Sefton Park and Greenbank Park. Me and my partner love a long walk and picking up a warm coffee and a sweet treat so your dogs steps are guarenteed. We have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and also an additional living room. We have no other pets so anxious/ nervous dogs or pet owners don’t need to worry about introducing other animals.
“Had peace of mind on my holiday as Caroline sent pictures of puss playing happily with her toys. Everything left tidy and clean in the cat department when I returned - dishes, litter tray etc. Would recommend.”

“Alex was the most perfect pet sitter! An absolutely lovely human being, I would trust her with my cat any day of the week. She sent updates, took care of him even though he has medicines to take as well and he seemed very happy when I came back. He's such a shy boy I think he apreciated Alex respecting him while taking such good care of him. Thank you, Alex!”

About: Hi! I'm a reliable, caring, and trustworthy animal lover who has grown up with both dogs and cats, so l've been around pets my whole life. I also regularly look after dogs for friends and family, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines I have free time during the day and some evenings so I’m free for dog walks and home visits for how ever long is needed depending on your needs. I will only walk dogs from the same house hold at one time and listen to any specific requests or needs to ensure safety. The walks will be tailored specifically to your dog and their needs and requirements.
“I can't recommend Jess enough especially if your dog is reactive or anxious. Jess has a lot of empathy and very good understanding of dogs behaviour. She was really patient with my rescue dog and provided regular updates after each visit.”

“Thank goodness for Emily! I only had a few days' notice about my holiday and had to get someone to mind my two (very nervous) cats, Tinker and Belle. Emily did a marvellous job, reassuring me, keeping me up to date with my cats' progress and sending photos daily. I would highly recommend Emily. Great job, Emily!”

“Phillipa was great and we will definitely be using her drop in services again. Great communication and very helpful with key collection. She is someone we are very happy to have in our home. Our dog engaged with her right away and she provided a very detailed review of the visit.”

About: My family has had multiple dogs ever since I was born which I have helped to take care of and walked everyday for the last 7 years. I have taken care of neighbours dogs too, this has included bigger breed like Dobermans and German shepherds meaning I don’t frighten easily around any kind of dog During the summer I am available Monday-Sunday from 1pm to 7pm. I am awaiting my university schedule to confirm dates for the next year but will still be available mornings and late evenings I have a fenced back garden and have plenty of space to crate dogs if needed. I am only a short 15 minute walk from Sefton park for stimulating walks for your dogs.
“George has always been fantastic and super dependable. Great with Reggie (lab puppy) who adores him. Sends great pics throughout his visit and couldn’t be happier with George. Very understanding and flexible, even biked round to help my sister in law out when she forgot her key! Great guy”

About: My love for animals developed from owning my own dogs continuously since a child and being around/looking after family and friends pets my whole life. At the moment I currently don’t own my own pet which after always having pets is why I feel the need to still care for animals and spend time with them. Whether it’s walking or sitting, I love meeting new furry friends and helping them feel safe and secure around unfamiliar environments/people, as well as giving them the love and care they need to feel comfortable. I have been doing Rover for nearly 3 years now! I work from home as a graphic designer, so I am free during the week to look after your pet at your needs, being able to sit and walk them whenever. I live within 1 minute walking distance to Princes Park and Sefton Park so toilet breaks and nice walks can be available whenever! There are no other pets in my own home, which might make your pet feel more at ease. I offer walks, boarding and home visits!
About: I have grown up with own dogs but sadly my two pups (Mutley and Meg) are no longer with us, so I would like to help others with their pet needs! I also work at Puppy Yoga UK, caring for puppies of all breeds. - Dog first aid trained (valid until 2028.) - Experience with most breeds, small and large. - Confident in administering insulin or other medicines. - Extensive experience in puppy care. - Comfortable with dogs dealing with anxiety separation or behavioural needs. I’m currently looking for work opportunities so I have lots of flexibility. If trusted with your pet, I will ensure that my schedule fits your needs completely beforehand. As I currently live at my family home, I am only able to offer house sitting and not home boarding. I am a clean freak, respectful to neighbours and would have an in depth conversation about your expectations, whether this included plant care etc.

About: I have a dog of my own and he’s genuinely my baby! I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable and confident with the person looking after your pet, and I would always treat someone else’s dog exactly how I’d expect my own to be treated. I’m caring, attentive and reliable, and I’m more than happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that’s walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles or just keeping them company. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, so I’ll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel happy and comfortable with me. I’d also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, because I know I’d want exactly the same if somebody was looking after mine! 🐾 I work full time during the week but I work from home a couple of days, so I can be really flexible around this. I’m also available most weekends and happy to work around your dog’s usual routine. I’ll always make sure they get plenty of walks, attention, playtime and of course lots of cuddles! 🐾 I have a dog of my own so I completely understand how important it is to trust the person looking after them! I’ll always treat your dog exactly how I’d want mine to be treated and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m happy to follow any routines or instructions you have and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos too! 🐾

This was our first time using this service so naturally a bit apprehensive but meeting Heather beforehand really put our minds at ease. Whilst we were away Heather provided updates and photos and videos which were great and really helped us to feel that our cat was being very well looked after. I would certainly recommend Heather and would use her again in the future!

Lucy looked after my cat Lenny while I was away for the weekend. Lenny is a shy boy and after moving house recently has been quite nervous about anyone other than myself being in the house. I have used Lucy before but not needed to for almost a year. He obviously remembered her kindness because he was literally eating out of her hand on the first visit. I was so delighted he was happy and relaxed without me there and was able to enjoy my weekend worry free knowing Lucy was looking after him.

Lauren looked after our Eva and Erica so wonderfully over the weekend. Her drop-in reports were so detailed and we loved receiving all the pictures! Especially with having a cat on medication it was so reassuring knowing they were in safe hands while we were away. She even managed to get some strokes in which is very impressive with our shy cats! I would definitely book her again, and would highly recommend her! ☺️

Molly took excellent care of my cat, Frela, during four days of check-in visits. She made sure Frela was fed, cleaned her litter tray, and kept me updated after every visit with messages about what Frela was doing and how she was feeling. I especially appreciated the photos she sent each time, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Molly was always quick to respond to my messages, reliable, and clearly cared about making sure Frela was happy and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Reis was amazing. We went away for a week first time we have ever left the dogs as ever got two ridgebacks we were apprehensive about who we got to come in and care for them however, Reis made a point of coming to meet them to make sure the dogs and he himself was comfortable with them. Everything went perfectly and I could not recommend enough. Lots of communication and we came back to two very cared for and happy dogs!!

Claire was fantastic! She took great care of my baby and kept me updated every day with photos and messages on WhatsApp, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away :) Bobo is usually very reserved and can be quite wary of new people, but he responded really well to Claire, which says a lot. It was clear he was comfortable and well looked after.. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Claire again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.
Phillipa was great and we will definitely be using her drop in services again. Great communication and very helpful with key collection. She is someone we are very happy to have in our home. Our dog engaged with her right away and she provided a very detailed review of the visit.

Isabela, came in at short notice and was able to manage my cats and home. She provided daily feedback and Stella even took to her within the first visit. The cats bowls and litter tray were cleaned out prior to my arrival home which saved me a job in the early hours. MT
