Hi, I’m Zach! I’ve been working professionally in animal care for over 10 years, and I’m lucky enough to say my career and my passions are one and the same. I have a Master’s Degree in Animal Behavior and have spent a decade in the field—from teaching animal care to my recent work in Vet Education with Pets at Home. I’m currently "pet parent" to a Poochon named Titan, a cat named Sage, and a snake—very imaginatively named Snakey. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from birds and reptiles to dogs and small mammals, so I’m comfortable with pets of all shapes and sizes. My expertise: Behavioral Insight: Because of my background in behavior, I’m experienced in monitoring body language. I can usually spot if a pet is feeling "off" or stressed well before it becomes a problem. Qualified Care: I’m a Pet First Aid trainer, so if an emergency ever does crop up, I have the professional training to handle it calmly and effectively. All-Day Company: Since I work from home, I’m around throughout the day to keep your pets happy, entertained, and well-supervised.
