About: I have been a devoted dog and pet person my entire life, having raised and loved my own dogs for years. Because of this personal experience, I completely understand the challenges, routine, and deep care that pets need to feel safe and happy. For a long time, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to check in on, feed, and play with their pets whenever they are away. I treat every animal as if they were a member of my own family. You can rest assured that your pet will receive all the love, attention, and proper care they deserve while you are gone! I am highly flexible and happy to adapt my schedule to your specific needs. We can easily coordinate a convenient time for me to come and check on your pet. If you are looking for home sitting, I am more than willing to adjust my daily routine to match yours perfectly and ensure your pet gets the best care Before the sitting, I always ask the owner for detailed information about their pet's personality, behavior, likes, and dislikes. I make sure to understand their feeding routine and any special medical or veterinary needs. Since changes can be stressful for animals, I strictly follow their usual habits. My goal is to fill the owner's shoes perfectly so the pet feels completely safe, comfortable, and happy in their own environment

About: My family have always had a dog so lots of experience looking after our furry friends! I would love a dog but I can’t commit to a dog full-time with work so hoping Rover can give me that well wanted quality dog time, happy to look after any breeds and live right by Sefton Park so can make sure perfect location to get some walks and play-time in! I have an office job 9 to 5, but would only accept the booking if I’m working from home in the week which would mean morning and lunch time walks, and play time throughout the day! I live by Sefton Park and Princes Park so perfect location for walks, and if the dog is happy to go in the car even a trip to the beach! I live in a flat, but have a big communal garden where I can take the dog down throughout the day. Not precious about furniture or the dog being crate trained so they can have free rein of the flat.

About: My partner Bee and I have been looking after dogs for years now. We grew up with dogs and cats of many different breeds, and love all things animals. We regularly look after our friends’ dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and even owl, so we’ve seen it all and enjoyed every second! Bee and I both work full-time, but almost entirely remote and there is always at least one of us in the house. When pet sitting, we take regular breaks to ensure the animals are fed, watered, walked and toileted as needed, and allow them to roam around the house, garden and office throughout the day. We have a fenced back garden ideal for toilet breaks, stretching legs and playing fetch. There’s also a large tiled kitchen, ideal for cleaning and drying damp pets.

About: I am an experienced dog owner seeking furry companionship following my soul dog’s departure to the rainbow bridge🌈 I spent the last 14 years taking care of Pie, a patterdale terrier, who we adopted from the Dog’s Trust when he was two years old. In his golden years, Pie developed painful cataracts in his eyes due to the diabetes his breed is prone to, resulting in the removal of his eyes. Ever the trooper, Pie was an absolute star for his twice-daily insulin injections, regular pet visits and adapting to life without sight. His quality of life was of utmost priority, and I spent a long time working with him to find out what worked best for his specific needs as a blind senior dog. Therefore, I am well equipped to take care of dogs with special needs and senior dogs, alongside any other of your delightful four legged friends! Cats too! I don’t discriminate 🥰 I am an art teacher based in South Liverpool and am keen for some animal time over summer and during my evenings, weekends and half terms Happy to answer any pet-related questions - just drop me a message! I am a teacher, so my main availability is late afternoons and evenings throughout the week. I am fully available on weekends and during summer holidays and half terms I live off a main road and have a small, private garden, close by to many grassy outdoor spaces such as Sefton Park. I am happy to work with you and your fur baby in the best care for them, whether that is in my home or yours!

Leung did a wonderful job looking after our cat Milo for 10 days. She followed all instructions to the letter and sent me lots of photos and updates every day. Milo clearly loved her because I received videos and photos of him showing her lots of affection. I definitely felt relieved that she was looking after him as if I was there myself and I was able to enjoy our holiday and not worry about him. I will definitely be hiring her again for our next holiday 🙂

About: Hi🥰 I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember and been walking and sitting for friends and neighbours since I was probably 10! I really want more expierience to eventually have my own dog walking and sitting business, and looking to get Canine first aid training over the next few months. For the last 3 years, I’ve helped look after a friend’s mini daschund but she was sadly put to sleep in November 24 from IVDD. A few months before this, she’d had a surgery for her back and I helped take care of her during recovery. We helped wrap medication in ham to ensure she took this. I have also helped dogsit for a few days while a family friend was on holiday and stayed in their home during this time. I also helped sit for a friends elderly 14-year old Toy Poodle needing lots of rest and taking care of. From my experience, I’ve had some insight into dogs that need extra care due to genetic/health problems and open to educating myself further if needed! So all in all, I have a lot of love and attention to give and will likely love your pet like they’re my own!! If you want to ask anything further, please get in touch💘 I have lived in Liverpool for 8 years now and recently moved to Lark Lane with my partner, Ben! He is the same age as me and a big animal lover too! I wanted to note this in case your pet struggle with men/male-presenting people. Sefton park is a stones throw away so no garden is not too much of an issue for getting outside! As we’re new to the flat and area, we currently cannot have animals staying for more than 1 night. However, where it is welcomed, I’m more than happy to try arrange boarding at the pet’s home and happy to discuss this if you’re comfortable! My work is a call centre - I work from home Monday to Thursday and in the office in Wavertree on Friday. I’m on a 6 week rotation of 8 hour shifts between 8am - 8pm, so with notice can use holidays and try arrange breaks for walks if the pet is close by during the week. Our flat consists of 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen/living area. It’s a medium sized flat so best fitting for small - medium pets. We don’t have a garden but Sefton Park is a 3 minute walk from our door. We are one floor up with no lift so your pet would need to have the ability to take themselves up the stairs or have preference on if they can be carried. We have 2 neighbours who both love animals too. They are both women living on their own and also wfh. Our upstairs neighbour occassionally looks after her mum’s spaniel but we have notice for when this happens. She is a calm and friendly dog from what we know!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life - I grew up with both dogs and cats, and currently live with my partner (who is also on Rover) our cat, kitten, and rescue dog, so I’m really used to juggling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to older pets who need a little extra patience and gentleness. I have hands-on experience with rescues, which has taught me how important it is to move at each animal’s pace and build trust through calm, consistent care. I pay close attention to routines, body language, and little details, because every pet is different, and I love sending owners photos and updates! I work from home, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the attention they deserve. I’m able to accommodate regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and lots of companionship throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s usual routine so they feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible while you’re away. My partner is also a verified Rover pet sitter, so we are also able to support each other with pet care in our home! Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I’m attentive, responsible, and respectful of both pets and their owners’ homes. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and house rules. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, boundaries, and needs, and I always aim to create a calm, positive environment. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I keep spaces clean, secure, and stress-free. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of both puppies and fully grown, large dogs. An active, male golden retriever is part of my family and lives with my parents so I have lots of experience. I was an avid dog sitting and walker on rover whilst living in London and would love to help you too. You can trust me to look after your dog with lots of love. From walking, brain training and treats, I will ensure your dog’s happiness and safety is key! I’m 5 minutes from Sefton Park so local to this area. I work from home 4 days a week and walk in the park daily so would love a dog to join me. I’m also here most weekends so happy to service weekends too. I’m very flexible and can adhere to yours and your dog’s schedules! I will be respectful and responsible for your home. I also live 5 mins from Sefton park so perfect for nice, long walks. I do not currently offer dog sitting in my own flat but happy to discuss drop in or day care at your place.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. Family, friends and neighbours have all trusted me with caring for their animals. As I am in university I am unable to have a pet of my own so I am highly eager to spend time with and take care of your little ones. Pet care would sit around my studies. I am able to be with your animals before, between and after classes depending on the day. Exact details can be worked out when booking. I cannot have animals in my house so any care would have to be at your house or out and about. I live close to and can travel, by foot or bike, to many large parks where dogs can be on or off lead, have the opportunity to swim, meet other dogs and play around.

About: I currently hold an OFQUAL level 3 in Canine Care, Welfare and Behaviour, as well as a certificate in Canine First Aid, and am currently studying a Level 4 in Canine Training and Behavioural Management. I have spent the last two years working hands-on with dogs in boarding and daycare facilities. This has involved providing high levels of care for breeds of all sizes and temperaments from Papillons and Chihuahuas to Great Danes and XL Bullies. This involved managing their excercise, enrichment, training, rest, feeding, and medication. I see each dog as unique, an individual with individual needs, and a personality to match! Whether your dog has unique quirks, issues with reactivity, or require those breed-specific extras (I'm a Border Collie owner myself so fully understand), they can be catered for. I am currently available Monday through to Thursday for walking and sitting, which allows plenty of time to give your dogs the attention they need. I am fully qualified and experienced dog handler, and as such can provide the highest quality of care for your dog, using only the most up to date methods of positive reinforcement.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, growing up with Jack Russells from a young age, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I now have my own Jack Russell, Taco, and understand how important routine, patience, trust and reassurance are when looking after someone’s dog. I also have experience caring for different breeds, including Border Terriers, French Bulldogs and Golden Retrievers. I’m confident with feeding, walking, playtime, enrichment, toilet routines and giving regular updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I’m active, reliable and used to long daily walks, including park walks, beach walks and safe outdoor adventures. I’m especially comfortable with small to medium dogs, energetic dogs, young dogs and dogs who need plenty of attention and stimulation. Your dog would be cared for like part of the family. I work for myself, which means I have plenty of flexibility and can work around your dog’s normal routine. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, especially when their owner is away, so I’m happy to fit my work around their usual feeding times, walks, toilet breaks, playtime and rest. Each dog is different, so I’ll always follow your instructions closely to help them feel settled and secure. I’ll be caring for your dog in their own home, where they already feel safe and comfortable. I know every dog has different needs, so each booking will be completely bespoke to suit your dog’s personality, routine and preferences. Whether they need lots of cuddles, long walks, playtime, company, reassurance or quiet time, I’ll work with you to make sure they’re cared for in the way that suits them best. I’ll also provide regular updates so you feel reassured while you’re away.

About: I have experience with a range of pets! I have almost always owned a dog or cat, and have had my fair share of rodent pets. At the moment, I have five dogs, which live respectively with my parents while I’m a student! I have special skills, specializing in puppy and senior care! I’ve had my hand in whelping and nursing three puppy litters and raised them until they were old enough to be adopted since their mother wasn’t the most maternal, this also means I can specialise in pregnant canine care. I have had elderly pets, and dealt with oral medications as well as needle administered ones. I am well-versed in animal reactive dogs, as well as the nervous sort that aren’t very trusting at first and have plenty of patience. I love animals and I’m not picky with the more active or lazy personalities. I have potty trained puppies with pupppy mats and have experience with teaching them to go outside. I am a University Student, local to Liverpool but don’t have an aversion on traveling a little bit! As a Student, my timetable is rather flexible, I have lots of holidays and I am usually not in classes for much longer than two to four hours! My weekends are mostly free as I enjoy being a homebody! I like to tailor my care for the animal! Not every pet wants to be played with constantly! But, for the playful, energetic ones, I’m all for spending hours with tug of war, fetch, a laser pointer. The lazy sort that want to lounge about don’t bother me and I can be content in just sitting with pets if they’re uninterested in play. I have a mixed bag of personalities amongst my pets so I’ve had to do a range of things. I can make a walk as long or short as preferred so long as I’m equipped with their lead and harness/collar. I’m completely okay with cleaning litter boxes, and administering medication. I prefer to keep water out at all times but dependent on the pet I can keep their food available or restrict it to meal times. I love affectionate pets and don’t mind needy personalities, I have a particular pet that is much of the same (be reminded that none of my pets live with me while I am a student so you wouldn’t need to worry about other animals if your pet isn’t comfortable with them).

About: •I Have had a retired racing greyhound for 6 years- so understand dogs with high prey drive •I volunteer at a greyhound rescue centre- so have experienced a range of different temperaments •I study Zoology at University I enjoy cooking, getting outside and going to the gym as well as the occasional pub trip with friends. I’m not currently employed so looking after your pet won’t be a problem at all. I use a crate for my own dog at night in our household but understand not all people do the same so can easily adapt to what your “rules” are. I believe in positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviours and think punishment is not something to be justified in any circumstance. I have a fenced garden and know the importance of checking for closed gates as I personally don’t fancy chasing after the second fastest land mammal 🤣!

About: I have been a pet owner basically my whole life, growing up in a family that always had multiple dogs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, tortoise. I have just moved to Liverpool to return to uni as a mature student and have left behind my 3 family dogs, who I miss dearly! I have experience with dogs of all ages, (our family pet had pups a few years ago) feeding, walking, bathing and everything in between. I am currently at uni and working part time 3 days a week but just pop me a message and we can see if I’m available! I currently live in a very friendly flat share, however I would definitely be more comfortable looking after your precious pets from the comfort of their own home. Have always read up on animal safety, what to do in and emergency if they’re choking etc.

About: My love for animals developed from owning my own dogs continuously since a child and being around/looking after family and friends pets my whole life. At the moment I currently don’t own my own pet which after always having pets is why I feel the need to still care for animals and spend time with them. Whether it’s walking or sitting, I love meeting new furry friends and helping them feel safe and secure around unfamiliar environments/people, as well as giving them the love and care they need to feel comfortable. I have been doing Rover for nearly 3 years now! I work from home as a graphic designer, so I am free during the week to look after your pet at your needs, being able to sit and walk them whenever. I live within 1 minute walking distance to Princes Park and Sefton Park so toilet breaks and nice walks can be available whenever! There are no other pets in my own home, which might make your pet feel more at ease. I offer walks, boarding and home visits!
