About: Hi there, I am Amélie and I am a university student currently completing an MA in creative writing. I cannot imagine a life without animals, and it would be a pleasure to provide the best care and service to your pet. I have had dogs my entire life, with about 10-12 years of intentional, considered pet care. I have experience working with rescue dogs and dogs with moderate behavioural issues, and pets with anxiety issues. As well as this, I have considerable hands-on experience working with senior dogs, including administering medication, incontinence and end of life care. I am an active individual willing and able to provide all types of walks for any age and size dogs. If your pet is more chill, I am also very happy to provide a more relaxed experience, or anywhere in between. Every pet is different and I will do my best to find the middle ground for them. I have a very flexible schedule right now. I am at university doing my Master's part time so am able to fit time in for your pets 7 days a week. Your pet is your baby - it is my role to treat them as such. All care provided will be at your discretion and in complete accordance of what has been set out. Your pet will always have a safe and loving environment with me. Walking routes can be customised to adapt to your dogs needs, including parks, quieter routes, breaks - whatever they need. I live in a pet-friendly and secure building; and there are no children or other animals in my home. So if a home visit is required, their needs will be met. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is not something many take lightly. I am happy to take this as slow as you would like to build up a relationship and establish what is right.

About: I have been a devoted dog and pet person my entire life, having raised and loved my own dogs for years. Because of this personal experience, I completely understand the challenges, routine, and deep care that pets need to feel safe and happy. For a long time, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to check in on, feed, and play with their pets whenever they are away. I treat every animal as if they were a member of my own family. You can rest assured that your pet will receive all the love, attention, and proper care they deserve while you are gone! I am highly flexible and happy to adapt my schedule to your specific needs. We can easily coordinate a convenient time for me to come and check on your pet. If you are looking for home sitting, I am more than willing to adjust my daily routine to match yours perfectly and ensure your pet gets the best care Before the sitting, I always ask the owner for detailed information about their pet's personality, behavior, likes, and dislikes. I make sure to understand their feeding routine and any special medical or veterinary needs. Since changes can be stressful for animals, I strictly follow their usual habits. My goal is to fill the owner's shoes perfectly so the pet feels completely safe, comfortable, and happy in their own environment

About: I’ve grown up helping taking care of cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and partly with horses. I’ve got experience with nervous cats such as rescues so have learnt patience to help rebuild confidence. I’ve also helped train two Labrador puppies as well as helping with an elderly Labrador. I’m a masters university student and most of my lectures/seminars are in the morning so I’m free most afternoons and evenings to take care of pets. Additionally I’m around most weekends. Unfortunately as I live in a university house it’s not pet friendly so I will follow whatever instructions/recommendations you as the owner want me to.

About: I’m Adam, a 37 year old animal lover living in Liverpool. Originally from Australia, I grew up with cats and dogs of all sizes until I was 25, which sparked a real lifelong passion for animals. I love giving them plenty of care, regular playtime, and affection. I live alone in a quiet apartment with private access in a cul-de-sac, with parks and a canal nearby. This offers a calm and secure environment for pets. I work from home running my own online business, so I’m almost always here to provide consistent care, company, and attention throughout the day. Even though I don’t have pets of my own right now, I’m always thrilled to welcome yours into my home and treat them like part of the family. About: I am a dog owner of a 12 year old sprocker spaniel. I am an animal lover and have looked after family members and neighbours pets growing up. I do not have transport so I will need to walk, but I am readily available weekdays and Sunday. I am doing a placement over summer but I have no set schedule for that so can be flexible. I have a 10 year old sprocker spaniel in our home, who is calm and loving but is also playful with other dogs who want to play. We have a spacious back garden with plenty of areas to play. We can easily close off doors to other areas in the house. We are 5 minutes from a nice park with a woodland area and short walks from other fields. We love to take our beautiful dog to the quarry and up lyth hill on long relaxing walks.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 14. It first started with my pets, my babies, Kitu, Gulu and Thupi. Ever since then, I have volunteered at rescue centres, taken care of puppies and adult dogs with parvo and distemper, administered IV drips on them under vet’s supervision. I recently lost two of my rescues to a horrid incident, after which, I welcomed to my life my daughter, my angel, Whisky. Walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, toilet breaks and medication (if required) are all planned around your pet’s needs. I can provide plenty of one-to-one attention, whether your pet loves adventures or simply wants a quiet lap to nap on. I only accept a limited number of bookings so I can give each pet the time and care they deserve. I’ll also send regular updates, photos and videos, so you can enjoy your trip knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, spoiled with affection, and treated like one of my own. Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’ve been caring for my own dogs for years back home in India, and more recently I rescued my beautiful cat, Whisky. Watching her slowly build confidence, learn to trust again, and truly feel at home has been one of the most rewarding experiences. It reminded me that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and to be loved at their own pace. Whether I’m looking after pets in my home or yours, I treat them like they’re part of my own family. About: My family have had dogs since before I was born, and growing up I have always taken on responsibilities looking after them! Whether that be walking, feeding, playing, or cuddling, I am ready and willing. I am confident with dogs of all ages and sizes, and ready to be their companion when you aren't able. I am currently a University student who is back for the summer. Because of this, I am free most days, at any point, and am able to stay in the pet owners home as needed. I will communicate with the pet owner as to what a normal routine looks like for the dog or cat and try to emulate this as much as possible to keep the pet comfortable. I need to know details such as how the pet is around other dogs and animals, what kind of walks do they go on. The top priority is the dog, and that they remain happy and healthy which is why I would prefer to meet the dog and owner beforehand, just to ensure that everyone goes into the service ready and comfortable.

About: I work from home a lot so have lots of time to dedicate to pets. I have been pet sitting on rover and pawshake since 2022, but have pet sit for friends/family previously. I grew up with dogs and have always loved to spend time with animals. My dogs are in the first picture on my profile! Archie (beagle cross) is 14 this year and Oscar (doberdor) sadly passed away last year. I had them both since puppies, as well as a guinea pig and fish! About: I have completed my zoology degree and have experience at the RSPCA, a doggy day care and a veterinary practise. I also have a CPR certificate specifically for choking or drowning. I work Wednesday to Friday, so I’m fully available for pet care on Mondays, Tuesdays, and some weekends, during these days I am able to do morning or evening walks and check-ins. I am also available Wednesday late afternoon/evenings. I provide care in the pet owner’s home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. I follow your routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. I take time to build trust with each pet, using a calm and patient approach, and I’m attentive to their behaviour and needs. I make sure homes are kept secure, pets are always safe on walks, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos for peace of mind. About: I’ve taken care of the dogs around me from a young age, even helping to deliver puppies and care for my 13 year old baby. Family and friends around me have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and adore their pets - which I’ve always done to the best of my ability (specifically the latter).
