During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. About: I’ve had 3 to 5 dogs at all time growing up between my parents houses back in France, from a cocker spaniel to a golden retriever and a Great Dane, I’m used to shedding, puppies, old, big dogs… the 6am walks in the cold, you name it! I have a very chill cavapoo at home now so only accepting dogs that are okay with other male dogs (he is neutered) Im an at home artist so Im at home most of the time, If I go anywhere I just take the dogs with me ! I have 1 dog at home who is super friendly but anxiously attached so I don’t go anywhere without him. He loves having dog friends over too! I will be the sole carer of your babie(s) though we may be joined by my friends on walks ! I have a closed up garden, i have Bean my dog who will gently play with your dog too or just cuddle on the sofa. Bean sleep in my bedroom and I’m okay with letting your dog there too or crate them in other area of the house. I’m pretty easy it really depends on your preferences

We have minded dogs for relatives and friends and walked neighbours dogs so do have experience of looking after other peoples dogs. We understand that every dog has individual needs and routines, and we are happy to follow your dogs usual schedule, whether that is regular walks, playtime, medication, feeding routines, or simply lots of affection and companionship. We have a friendly 4 year old daughter who has grown up around dogs and has always been taught to be gentle and respectful with them. Because of this we only accept dogs that are comfortable around children, ensuring a happy and safe environment for everyone. Your dogs well being is our priority. They will be welcomed into our home as part of the family, receiving plenty of love, attention, exercise and companionship. We will keep you updated with regular photos and messages to give you complete peace of mind while you are away. We believe every dog deserves to feel safe, happy and loved, and that is exactly the experience we aim to provide from the moment they have arrive. We are early raisers and a morning walk would fit well into our schedule. Emma works from home so is around all day to allow for your dog to go into the garden, have regular toilet breaks and maybe a nap if required. There is an opportunity for a short walk over the lunch period if required. We also like to go for a nice walk in the evening and have a lovely beach and park nearby. We have a calm house and have a lovely fenced off garden which is secure for your dog to enjoy. We do not have any other animals so your dog can roam freely throughout the property.

With about 4 hours notice, Jen met us and Charlie and instantly gave us the confidence and reassurance we needed to book. Jen is very personable and has a kind heart - she clearly loves dogs. Throughout Charlie's stay, we received photos and updates from his adventures up and down the length of the Wirral. He was at the Beach, out for a pub breakfast, in the woods, up hills and having cuddles on the sofa. About: Ive had dogs for years, my last dog had Addisons disease, so I learnt to care for dogs that require medications and more observation than most. All my dogs have been spaniels, very well behelaved and friendly. I only ever have love for all types of dogs. They are precious animals and we are their world. I work irregular hours and am sometimes away on cruise ships. But when I am home, I am home all day. Normally Daphne gets 2/3 walks through the day. As well as daily training and brain stimulation. Throughout all services I will treat the pups with respect and as if they were my own. Then dependant on the service booked I will always work toward the owners daily routines or the instructions left for the care of their wonderful pet.

Alison and Andy took great care of my Chihuahua, Otto, for a couple of nights recently. From the moment I met them a few months ago, I knew they were going to be diligent, careful and responsive in the way they would look after Otto. I had no hesitation in booking Otto to be looked after by them. Otto was looked after exceptionally well by Alison and Andy. They are very experienced at looking after dogs and were very calm with Otto which helped him settle in. I gave them lots of information about Otto and they ensured they got all details before I left him with them. He had a thoroughly good time with them and they were very patient and understanding of him being unsettled at times as this was the first time he had been looked after by them. Otto had a great time and slept soundly most of the afternoon and evening after he came home! A big thank you to Alison and Andy for taking such good care of Otto!
Andzelika was really good looking after our dog Stella when we were away on holiday. She provided daily updates and photographs including videos. Stella was clearly looked after and cared for, even given visits to the beach on a regular basis. I wouldn't hesitate to book Andzelika in the future.
My first time leaving Coco for a 7 day holiday. Visited Isabel at home & we also met up with her dogs & COCO. This really helped me knowing she would take good care of him. Megan had my dog Max for the day while we moved house. He had the best day with her!! , Megan is lovely and Max adored her as soon as they met. I have never left him with anyone (he’s 4), I was nervous but her calming and lovely nature made me feel at ease. She also sent updates through the day telling me how he was. He loved her and probably didn’t even want to come home ha ha. I definitely recommend Megan :-)

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
