“Opie had a great stay! From the start, everything felt really professional—they provided a form to fill out and arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During his day and overnight stay, I was kept regularly updated on how Opie was doing and what he was getting up to, which I really appreciated. It made me feel relaxed knowing he was in good hands. Overall, a very positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!”

“Our little Molly seems to have really enjoyed her stay with Alison. bekng a house-dog she wouldn't really have liked Kennels. Alison was great with her, giving her treats and walks, and even moving the blinds so Molly could lie on the window sill and people-watch like she does at home. Thanks Alison, we will definitely let our Molly come to stay again!”

“Sonia and Mick looked after our Labradoodle Jess, for the second time this year, this time over the Christmas period, for which we were very grateful . Jess is always extremely well looked after , her feeding regime is strictly adhered to and we were very pleased to see that Jess was once again, put on a long lead when taken out on walks . We got photos of her over Christmas, where we could see she was very much a part of the family … many thanks to Sonia and Mick”

“Gerrard was a brilliant boarder. Zeek was well looked after and seemed like he had the best time. I got regular pupdates of his antics and he was showered with affection(which he loves). Would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“"We were nervous to leave our pup Oscar for the first time, but Jay made us feel totally at ease. They followed all instructions perfectly and treated Oscar like family. Highly recommend x”

About: I’ve had pets all my life and dogs are a huge part of that. Very experienced living with all kinds of dogs. Experience walking and dog sitting. I am currently not working and live with my parents who are retired. There is always at least one of us at home. We go on at least 1 dog walk daily, usually more. I have a detached house with a secure, fenced, garden. Pets in our house are treated with a lot of care and a welcome inside at all times and on beds/sofas, for example.
“Saoirse was fantastic at looking after Milo for us. We received regular updates and photos, and he seemed like he had the best time staying with her. She took such good care of him and we can tell he was shown so much love and attention. I think he was a little sad his own holiday was over when we picked him up 🥲 Milo became very fond of Saoirse and we will be booking again for our next trip very soon and all future trips. 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Gugu was brilliant with Skye - had never met each other before but Skye was settled in within a couple of hours and having her best time with Gugu's dog and another she was looking after. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.”

“Benji came home very happy and tired after his weekend with Kieran and Otis. Kieran was very communicative both during the booking process and throughout the weekend sending updates and photos of Benji settling in and on his walks. An excellent pet sitter we will definitely ask again.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have my own whippet puppy, so I know the ins and outs of daily care, training, and keeping pups happy. I’ve also helped neighbors and friends with pet sitting, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience. I’m confident with everything from walks and playtime to feeding and keeping dogs comfortable. I work remotely, which means I’m at home most of the time and can easily fit in walks, play, and cuddles throughout the day. My routine is flexible, so I can adapt to your pet’s needs. I always make sure pets feel safe and settled with plenty of love and attention. I’ll follow your routines closely so your dog feels right at home.
“Our Yorkshire terrier Teddy had a great stay with Susan and Julian, at their home. He was well looked after, and looked so relaxed on the photo updates we were sent. We have never left him with anyone but family before, but we were kept updated throughout his stay with how he was and what he was doing. This put us at ease, and straight away we knew we had made the right decision for who was best to look after him. We would recommend anyone to leave their fur baby in their care, we will certainly be using them again next year when we get married, as we know he will be in good hands! Emmie & Daniel”

“I did a trial day with Tita. Manu settled quickly and came home super calm and relaxed which tells me he felt really comfortable in Tita's lovely home. She shared lots of photos and also treated him to a meal. I will definitely rebook in the future :)”

“We were extremely nervous about leaving our one year old Bernese mountain dog/newfoundland cross for the first time when going on holiday for 10 days. Especially as she is extremely attached to us! We needn’t have worried. After our first meet and greet with Mike and Selene it was obvious they were dog lovers. While we were away we got daily updates and photographs of Belle obviously having a lovely time and was being treated as part of their family. We would recommend Mike and Selene to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to leave Belle with them again. Thank you both ❤️”

“We booked Emma to look after Alice, our very shy and anxious cat who hides from any visitors. It was lovely to see how Emma managed to gain her trust within a short time and quite quickly Alice was totally happy and at ease. Emma has great communication skills and is always prompt with her replies. Also it was wonderful getting the photos of Alice every day and we felt totally confident that Alice was in safe hands. I would definitely recommend Emma to everyone.”

About: Hi! I am a qualified children’s nurse. I have had a love for animals from a young age. My experience with pets started when I was around 9 years old when my parents got a dog for our family. We also rescued and had a bird for a short while. I then had a few hamsters and guinea pigs in my teens. When I was 17 I even had/adopted a pygmy hedgehog. We also welcomed another dog to the family at that point. When I moved away for university, I really missed having pets. My favourite part about going home was seeing the dogs - and still is! Unfortunately, due to the long shifts I work and having no family nearby, I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment - although I would absolutely love one! However, I adopted a hamster in March 2025, and she has been a lovely addition in my home! I work full-time but because I do shift work I typically have 3-4 days off a week. It will depend on the specific week what days I am available - I will update my availability to show this. I live alone and have no cats/dogs so I will be a good option if your pet doesn’t like other animals. I do have a hamster upstairs but I can close the door to that bedroom if necessary. I live in a terraced house so I have a walled-in yard at the back.

“Zoe is a wonderful cat sitter. Very honest, good communications to pet owners, responsible, caring and has a wonderful rapport with my cats. She is excellent and I have booked her again for December Thanks Zoe, I know my kitties are in good hands with you and thank for everything. Cath xx ”
About: I am studying veterinary medicine and come from a background filled with animals. I love my degree and can't wait to apply it in my future career. Growing up on a farm has taught me from day one how to keep dogs happy and healthy. Since then, my love and knowledge concerning dogs has only flourished. When, at 16, I got my own puppy, I put my heart and soul into training and caring for her, helping her grow into the beautiful dog she is today. From working dogs to beloved pets, I have seen it all. I began dog sitting for family and friends, enabling me to work on my adaptability to how other people like their dogs to be loved. Studying zoology has given me a solid foundation of behavioural knowledge, and I apply that to all the dogs I care for, being firm but always kind. I am a full-time student, but with long holidays I am entirely flexible. My calendar will show when I am unavailable due to prior commitments and if there are any concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch. I am owner-lead in my care for other people's pets, each family has its own way of doing it, and sticking to that routine makes it easier for everyone involved. Dog sitting, walks or drop-ins will be as energetic or peaceful as needed, fitting in with each pet's needs.

About: I am a registered veterinary nurse. I have experience with friendly cats, nervous cats and aggressive cats. I also have experience in administering any medication required. I have 2 cats of my own who I love playing and spending time with and would love to be able to look after your cats for you if you’re away! Look forward to hearing from you and please message me if you have any questions at all! Esther
“Holly was fantastic! She took great care of our two cats while we were away and kept us updated with messages and videos. We came home to two happy kitties and everything just as we left it. From the moment we met her, we could tell she genuinely loves animals! We’ll definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve always grown up surrounded by animals; from fish and guinea pigs to cats, dogs, and pretty much everything in between (even African snails)! I have two dogs who are my absolute pride and joy: Harley, a rescue Chihuahua × Miniature Pinscher, and Teddy, a Yorkipoo. I also regularly mind my sister’s three sausage dogs (my beautiful nieces) and occasionally look after my auntie’s Newfoundlands. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, so rest assured your fur babies will be safe and loved with me! I work part-time from home and don’t have set hours, which means I’m pretty flexible with when I can mind your babies. As long as I have Wi-Fi to get some work done, I can come to you! I’m also available on weekends; I just ask for a bit of notice so I can plan ahead.😊 We have a large, fully fenced back garden - perfect for zoomies! My two dogs are super friendly. Harley is your typical introvert and likes his own space, so he usually takes himself off to bed when things get busy. Teddy, on the other hand, is a total extrovert who loves everyone and making new friends! We don’t see dogs as pets; they’re family. They’re welcome on the couch, the bed, and pretty much anywhere we go. I don’t own crates, but I’m happy to use yours if your pup prefers their own space or feels more comfortable sleeping in one.

I have always had dogs, cats and other animals, I have two grown daughters who are occasionally around. I have very positive review on another house sitting site, I’d be happy to share. I work at home 3 days a week, so am happy to work in your home spending the day with your pet. I am confident walking dogs, experience of up to 5 at a time, but prefer to limit to maximum of 3 at a time. I provide positive reinforcement and plenty of affection. I will care for your pets and animals as I would my own, with calm and affection. I work from home 3 days per week so when pet sitting I will be available all day for company and up to two walks a day. I will provide a safe, calm affectionate environment fitting in with your preferences and your animals needs. I am very happy to give lots of strokes and cuddles as well as stimulating play as required.
“Michael is so good with Charlie. Charlie goes straight to him and sits on his lap, enjoying the attention he is given. Instructions are followed to the letter. Michael is prompt picking up keys, and is friendly and courteous.”

“The second time James has come in to look after my cat while I’ve been away, he is always quickly responsive, professional and reliable. I was grateful for lots of pictures every time of my cat and a reassuring message she was okay. Thank you James!”

About: I love animals and lifeforms of all types really, I'm the type to pick up worms from the pavement and put them back on the grass. But I particularly love dogs. I have had dogs for almost my whole life (Labradors, Golden Retrievers, King Charles Cavalier, Shelties). I have looked after other people's dogs often and always enjoy the experience. Dogs are treated very well here with lots of affection and attention. Currently at home full time but I do go out for a few hours occasionally. I don't leave my dog alone for more than a few hours. When a new dog is here, it wouldn't be that long. My dog Molly is very friendly with dogs and humans. She is now completely blind so I have to take a bit of extra care with her, but she can still go for walks and enjoy her food and strokies. There is only myself and my 6 year old son at home, with Molly our Golden Retriever. We have a small yard for toileting, and we go to the park or other locations for exercise. Safety is paramount. I know what it is like to go on holiday and worry about your dog - you have no need to fear! I am very careful - I know where I am going when out and about and if dogs are let off leashes, it is in a safe environment away from roads and other hazards. I have a large ground floor which gives dogs space to be in a few different rooms. Upstairs is humans only. Meals and medication will be given according to the owner's precise schedule. I encourage a visit so that you can briefly see my home and meet us.

Currently working at a gym in Hoylake 3 days a week then I have the rest of my week to fill with walks, dog sitting and general exercise. I live in Moreton right next to Upton Park so have amazing space to take your dog for long or short walks, also so much field space to allow your dog to be off lead if able to.

“Olivia was fantastic! I was quite nervous about leaving my puppy for the first time but Olivia was great and very reassuring, she kept me updated with messages and pictures!”

About: Nothing gives me greater joy than taking care of animals. I have taken care of dogs for the best part of my life with over 25 years of experience. I am currently studying towards a level 3 diploma in canine welfare & behaviour. Looking after dogs is my passion and I am at my happiest around them, wether that be with our own family pet, a six month cockapoo called Sunny or your four legged friends. I currently offer walks and drop ins and all my walks are 1:1 with your dog or dogs so I can give them my undivided attention. I want you and your fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible so I offer a meet & greet if you feel you would like that in order for me to get to know your pet and any particular needs they may have followed by a free introductory short walk to give your dog or dogs the chance to get to know me. Or if you know your dog is comfortable around new people and you'd like me to just get straight to taking your pet out that's absolutely fine too, I'm happy to just have a conversation on here to get to know your pets needs and cover some basic information such as is your dog reactive, anxious, do they have any triggers etc and most importantly are they allowed a treat whilst out and about! I am fully insured. I work from home and my diary is determined by myself so I am available most days and at short notice if needed as I can change my schedule to suit you. I am fully insured. We do have two fenced gardens, but presently I am not boarding as we have a six month old puppy that is still settling in so I am only currently offering drop ins and walks. It's important to reiterate that i do not take my dog along on walks with your pets, they will have my full attention. I have experience with both large and small dogs and I currently regularly walk a variety of different breeds. I have looked after many anxious dogs and I'm pleased to say I have never not won any of them round and it's really rewarding to earn their trust and eventually see them eagerly waiting for me to go out on an adventure. I will only ever let your dogs of the lead with your permission and if that's something you would like me to do, I generally wait until we have been on a couple of walks and know each other a bit better. I have worked with dogs that are overweight for various different reasons and have provided lots of stimulation and exercise to help them back to a healthier weight range. I have worked with dogs providing multiple drop ins and walks per day when their owners have been on holiday and I've also administered oral medication when needed. I will always follow the owners lead and I am always open to answering any questions no matter what they are as I understand that trusting someone with your pet is not always easy.
“Charlene is incredibly positive and extremely attentive. Many sitters on the platform seem to treat dogs like furniture, but Charlene truly sees animals as individuals with their own personalities. We are here on holiday, and if I ever come back to this city, I wouldn’t trust my Orbit with anyone else. With Charlene I feel absolutely confident that my dog is safe, happy, and well cared for.”

“So friendly and what a lovely place for my dog to stay too!!! I was reassured from our first meet that Finnley would be taken care of & seeing him so happy when I picked him up, I was so overjoyed. I'll definitely be using your services again in the very near future! x”
“Another great day had by Albie, only second visit has already made himself at home, loves playing with with Rocco his playmate, Laura obviously makes him feel welcome & safe in there company”

About: I've took care & loved dogs in my Family home since I can remember, so when I moved into my flat I just had to have one of my very own. I'm very committed and doted on my furry humans. We regularly see her Brother 'Ralphie' alot too, I like to keep them entertained and happy at all times. - love walking them as I'm very active anyway! I take great pride in my passion for making all animals safe/secure/content & most importantly happy. - All my friends would call me Dr Doolittle! Pets are my first priority, I wouldn't have any problems looking after others, Inc my own. I'm flexible and can time manage my own career hours. I live in a flat where I have a shared communal garden, that has no pets whatsoever init. I often let mine out so sniff the flowers and have a run around, between walks! I have a large flat, that has a separated kitchen/spare room so my dog is safe and if she wants she can walk around the flat with ease (all on one level) I tend to keep the spare room shut and the rest of the doors open for her. She's nosey and wants to go in every room usually anyway! I can keep a keen eye on her, I keep everything off the floor that isn't hers, I make sure she has puppy pads if need be, I've had 3 (small) dogs all together in my large flat up to now and it's been great. - Lots of space to play around and watch them having fun!
About: I work from home and been pet sit / dog walking for over years, usually taking bookings through referrals, Rover is now as an extra platform 💕 I often forget to come and block my days That's being booked offline, so feel free to DM and check 🥰😘 I love all animals, but always having a special place in the heart for dogs. Everyday is a new experience when you meet new pups & for sure is never a dull moment, and there's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a dog. I have much experience ranging from puppy to senior dogs and I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them, and lucky for me had some real guidance from the dog whisperer Cesar Millan in person and learned quite a lot from him of how to communicate with dog better, therefore, I'm proud of myself that I have befriended anxious dogs who usually fear humans and earned the acceptance of aggressive dogs. Animals tend to like me regardless of their personalities. I'm pretty flexible, so if your dog has any special needs, or if there's anywhere in particular you'd like your dog to visit, just let me know. Looking forward to meet you and your fur babies. I work remotely running my own online business, which gives me the freedom to be flexible with dates (as long as there’s a strong internet connection—I do rely on that wherever I go). With a decent size house and back yard I'm living in, and a huge park right across the road, this would be beneficial for boarding. In addition to pet sitting, i always helped to do some simple grooming for my neighbors and mom's dog and they always loved the results. After all, love spending time with all kind of animals, I hope I get the chance to meet and care for your furry kids!
“Bailey was really well looked after and had a fantastic walk at the beach with lots of new sniffs to take in. He had a bit of an upset tummy from eating fox muck the day before but fortunately no accidents in the house & just a bit of diarrhea on the walk. Sonia was really accommodating as I let her know before the visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. *****”

“I booked Emma to walk my dog Max for a few days while I was away and he was staying with my elderly parents. They reported that he went very happily with her and was excited to see her when she collected him for his next walk. She provided photos and some short video during the walk which reassured me that Max was happy and safe. I would definitely use her again.”

I am a uni student looking for part-time work and company on my quieter days. I am available most days of the week for walking/sitting/visits. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. I make sure pets are supervised, kept in a clean and calm environment, and never placed in situations they’re not comfortable with. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, walking preferences, and any special needs. I’m mindful of doors, leashes, and surroundings, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: For the past two years, I’ve been caring for small and medium-sized dogs - a journey that began as a way to heal after the loss of my beloved Harvey. His passing left a void, and I found comfort and joy in surrounding myself with the unconditional love and affection that dogs bring. What started as looking after the pets of friends, family, and neighbors has blossomed into a fulfilling part of my life. Along the way, I’ve built wonderful relationships with both the dogs and their owners, and this experience has deepened my passion for animal care. Spending time with dogs not only brings me immense happiness but also benefits my mental and physical well-being. I truly adore all things cute and fluffy - dogs, cats, and beyond, and believe every animal deserves the best life possible. If I can contribute to making their lives better, it’s a privilege and a joy. As I work full-time, Monday to Friday, I am only able to commit to weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and bank holidays. This is for all services, including overnight boarding in your home. I currently don’t offer dog-boarding in my home as a service. This is because I have a very boisterous cat who demands attention, love him but he’s a drama queen.

About: I've looked after family pets on several occasions whilst family have been on holiday, I'm eager to care for your beloved companions to the best of my abilities. I also own a springer spaniel who's extremely energetic, and loves going on walks. I've recently left my job working in mental health which was very stressful, I'm looking for new opportunities looking after your treasured companions as I'm looking for something that fits my personality as a big pet person. I currently live with family so I couldn't look after pets in my own home right now, however if I were to look after your pets in your home I'd treat it as my own and leave everything exactly as I found it. Your pets would be my no 1 priority and I'd look after them to the best of my abilities, this includes following existing schedules as necessary and other duties.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. I have previously rescued a Czechoslovakian wolf dog and now currently have a little Cocker Spaniel. I have experience walking and doing home visits/stays for a variety of dogs, including Vizler’s, Shih Tzu’s, Collies, Spaniels, etc. My full time job is a Firefighter so I do shift work, which gives me a lot of time off! I do 12 hour shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, so have variable but decent availability. Currently I do not care for pets in my home as I’ve got a 14 week old puppy cocker spaniel and she’s not able to interact with other dogs yet!
“Mike and Selena provide a great service. Luna had a great time playing fetch even on a rainy day. You can see how much they love dogs and we would highly recommend them!”

“We have started new jobs, meaning we've had to leave our dog more often than normal. Our dog doesn't like being left for long periods of time and James has been a real life line. He walks her whilst we're out. Our dog appears to enjoy his company and he has been really accommodating of all our requests. When we've come home she has been very settled and comfortable. We can't thanks James enough!”

About: Growing up in a family that rescued and trained animals, I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life. Caring for them has always been second nature—whether it was helping a scared rescue settle in or teaching them to trust and thrive. Most recently, I lost my beloved dog, and the house hasn’t felt the same without that familiar joy and companionship. I now have a quiet, peaceful home and plenty of time to give your pet the love, comfort, and attention they deserve. With me, they’ll be treated like family. As a stay-at-home mum, I’m home most of the day and have lots of time to give your pet the care and company they need. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or just being nearby for comfort, I’ll make sure your pet never feels lonely. My quiet home is a calm and cozy space, perfect for pets who enjoy a relaxed environment and plenty of attention throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a quiet, peaceful home where they can relax and feel secure. I’m home most of the time, so they’ll always have someone nearby to keep them company and make sure they’re happy and cared for. My small, fully fenced garden provides a safe outdoor space for fresh air and play without any worries. With me, your pet will be treated like family in a calm, loving environment.
“Holly was absolutely great with my dog Taeko. She took really good care of him and kept me updated throughout the walk. He was still a little tired by the time I got home from work!”

About: Hello, My name is Julie and I would love to help you to take care of your cat or dog. I have been looking after my own pets for more than 25 years. I love seeing their eyes light up whenever they have someone to stroke them or play with them, or take them for a walk. I am happy to go into your home and feed/play with and change the litter tray of your cat. If he/she need a brush, I'll do that as well. An added bonus of this is the extra security for your home, as I will open blinds/curtains and then close them at night. I will switch lights on and off and my car will be on your driveway or outside your house twice a day, making it look like someone is home. My daughter and I run my business together so there is usually one of us available throughout the day, except for our annual leave dates. I'm a housewife so this job is my only job. I have a 2 year old cat whom I adore. He has a litter tray inside but does go outside when he wants. My garden has been checked for pet friendly plants too. When in someone's home, I eould change or clear litter regularly to give your cat a clean environment to use their toilet in. I will take time to socialise and groom if needed. On dog walks, your dog will have a good walk/run either in a park,on the beach or just around the block if that's what you require. Your dog will be cleaned and dried off if needed and given a treat and a big well done for their walk.

“We were nervous about leaving our dog sophie for the first time Olivia kept us up to date how sophie was doing and sent us pictures we highly recommend Olivia as a dog minder and will use her again in the future”

“I had to fly out of the country last minute and had no one to take care of my dog. Charlene was very accommodating even though it was a last minute request! No fuss at all. She sent me videos of Moffie while I was away. Moffie had a great time in her place and even met a new friend as there was another dog staying with her too during that time. If ever I need to be away again, I'd definitely trust her to look after him again! Thank you, Charlene!”

“Beautiful house and a lovely gentle man who looked after Louie. I am sure Louie loved his stay and he seemed totally at home from his first paw over the threshold. I would 100%recommend James. I have already rebooked 😊”

“Gabby and her housemates are superstar dog minders: I cannot overstate how happy I - and of course Cilla - were with this arrangement. As a protective dog-parent, having her stay with three vet students who so clearly adored her almost as much as I do, who lived very close to the university and the no-pets hotel I was staying in whilst working there, who sent lots of photos of her being so well looked after, who would have brought her to visit if my schedule allowed, and above l who were so friendly and communicative was PERFECT. Thanks Gabby, housemates, and indeed Rover app. A great arrangement all round.”

About: Hi! We’re two friends who’ve recently moved to Liverpool and have both grown up with dogs our whole lives. My family dogs are both 13 yo siblings from the same litter, and one of them has been deaf since birth, so I’m used to adapting care to suit different dogs and their individual needs. We have experience with everything from energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to older dogs who prefer a slower pace and lots of cuddles. We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and we’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while they’re with us. We’re also happy to send plenty of updates and photos throughout their stay! 🐶💕 We both work flexible hybrid jobs, which means one of us is usually home throughout the day and your dog will rarely be left alone. We love getting out for walks, whether that’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure. I’m definitely an early bird and love starting the day with a morning walk, while my flatmate is more of an evening person, so there’s usually someone ready for walkies, playtime, or cuddles from morning through to night. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. We live in a flat with a small balcony, but toilet breaks and walks will be frequent throughout the day, with longer walks for dogs who enjoy a bit more exercise and adventure. One of my own dogs is basically my baby and the definition of a couch potato, so I’m just as happy spending the afternoon cuddled up on the sofa as I am playing with energetic dogs who want constant attention. Whether your dog loves naps, fetch, belly rubs, or playtime, we’ll make sure they feel right at home. We even have a hallway that’s the perfect length for a game of indoor fetch when the weather isn’t cooperating! I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, so we’ll care for them the same way we’d want our own dogs to be cared for, with plenty of love, attention, patience, and updates for you along the way.
