About: I always said that I preferred dogs over people when I was a child… and it’s still true today. Myself & my fiancé have rescued 3 beautiful pooches over the years, giving us a huge understanding of dogs with varying personalities and traits. Your dog will be safe, loved, and truly understood in my hands. Dogs aren’t just pets to me - they’re family. In our home is myself (Hi I’m Kate 👋), my partner James and our 2 lovely small rescue pooches. I will be solely looking after your dog for: House Sitting, Dog Walking, Drop-in Visits and Doggy Day Care. As my partner works daytimes. However, if your dog is booked to stay in our home for Boarding, my partner will be looking after your pooch too - evenings and weekend. He is also a true dog lover and has grown up with dogs all his life. 🐕‍🦺 What I Specialise In: • Small dog care • Rescue dog understanding • Nervous, anxious, reactivity, or special quirks • Medication management and experience with chronic health issues (our beautiful dog Benji lived with cancer for 18 months, therefore I’m use to regular vet visits and administering medication) • Long-term stays: I have regularly looked after our previous neighbour’s dog, often for up to 3 weeks • High prey-drive dogs • Managing allergies • Supporting behaviour challenges like lead reactivity • Gentle, positive and understanding care 🏡 Home life: Your dog should hopefully feel right at home in our home. • Large, fully enclosed garden with 6ft fencing, perfect for zoomies • Dogs are welcome on the furniture • Dog-friendly environment • Playtime with my 2 dogs, walks and lots of affection Please see the about me section below 😊 I am currently at home daily, therefore your dog won’t be left alone. I will check beforehand if your dog can be left at home at all (in case I nip to the local shop etc) - If they can’t, don’t worry, they won’t be left. When my partner is off during the weekends, we like to go for longer dog walks. This includes the beach or large parks. I will always walk your dog on lead for safety. We have 2 gorgeous rescue dogs. Opal (around 6 years old). She’s a gorgeous mixed breed (Romanian street dog rescue). Very quirky, fun and super clever. Niblet - our newest fluffball, (around 2 1/2 years old). A tiny, friendly Chinese street dog rescue (possibly Shih Tzu/Poodle cross). Incredibly playful and silly. Both my dogs are neutered / spayed and good with other dogs. Sadly unable to take raw fed dogs. Please feel free to ask any questions.

About: Hi! I'm Lilly and a student in Newcastle! I study mathematics and in my second-year house we aren't allowed any pets and it might be the end of my life. I love connecting with cats and trying to earn their trust as they're such intelligent animals. My stepmum (training to be a feline psychologist-how cool is that) fosters up to 13 cats at once and is part of an organisation that rescues cats so I'm used to them being everywhere. I love to sew, play guitar, play minecraft and other arts and crafts that I get sacked into for about 2 weeks and forget about them :). I'd love to look after your cats as I won't be able to until after university, you'd be the ones doing me the favour!

With a senior dog myself I understand how hard it is to be away from them, but rest assured I will send you updates and maintain their regular routine so that you and your pet get the best out this experience. About: I enjoy bonding with pets and spending quality time with them to help keep them happy, well fed, watered and entertained. I love walking and running in Formby woods and beach regularly and would enjoy taking a small, local dog with me. I have more experience with cats from looking after my sisters cat, Baiby, and forming a strong bond. Pet care fits into my routine well, I work from home most of the time so would have the flexibility to drop in on cats or take dogs out with me multiple times a day. About: Having grown up around dogs of all sizes, spending time with pets is one of my greatest hobbies. I specifically have experience around both senior dogs and puppies having cared for my elderly pugs until they passed on, and then my boxer puppy who has since grown up. I can guarantee your dog a safe, caring experience (boarding or walks), with as frequent photo updates as you require. My profile picture is myself and Dug, my fiancé's eldest chihuahua (14yo). We currently don’t have any pets living here either, so hopefully the only concern you may have is that your dog may not want to leave! Happy to work around your dog’s walking, playtime, and behavioural needs. My schedule is extremely flexible closer to the weekends, and every weekday I can dedicate evenings for walks. I can pick up anywhere in the Merseyside & West Lancashire area, which has a marvellous countryside full of walks to be had. The house is situated in a cul de sac away from busy roads, while having a large fenced garden. The town itself is both quiet and safe, resulting in a great environment for your dog to be walked in. For boarding, the house is extremely well laid out and minimally decorated to allow for safe exploration. Your pet can happily jump onto our furniture and sleep on the bed if you would prefer. Dogs can be easily caged if necessary.

About: I have experience with larger dog breeds: I have a beautiful German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross at home. I've also spent time with alot of smaller breeds: I petsat a spritely jack russell. I have an elderly cat at home too, who often gets lost in her old age and I am happy to take it slow with older pets. Previously, I owned a diabetic Cocker spaniel and have experience injecting him with insulin (and convincing my two kittens to eat their flea and worming tablets via ham) so I am happy to provide your pets with whatever care they need. Even if all they need is some food and lots of fusses.♡ Previously when petsitting for an aquaintance, I fed and walked her labrador and jack russel everyday. I also coaxed and kept track of her shy kitten, making sure it ate and came in at night and eventually fussing it when it decided i was allowed. I study remotely and so have no reason to leave your pets for any long period of time. I love going for walks especially in new areas and typically go for one a day, longer or shorter depending on the energy of my doggy companion. I also love curling up and reading with a cat nearby.♡ I study university online and so can work from any home at my own schedule. I'm happy to wake up at any time to feed the pets and can carve out as much time as nessessary to take them on furfulling walks and give them all they attention they need.♡ I am fully equipped and happy to take care of any higher maintenance pets you have (even if its just a very fetch orientated collie, Ive been there♡). I used to have an elderly ill Spaniel and I would give him tablets and injections (and occasionally have to carry him on walks♡) I've also administered both oral and injected medicine to my two troublesome (and one elderly) cats. I also have experience walking bigger (aswell as reactive) dogs as I have a previously reactive GS whom I kept a good hold of on walks♡

About: Hi, I’m Laura…I live with my partner Chris and we both have lots of experience with dogs, from owning to minding. We currently don’t have a dog and don’t plan to get another as we like to travel…but we miss dog energy and choose to borrow to fill the gap! I work from home Monday-Friday and my partner is home all weekend so we have plenty of time and love to give to your pooch. We live near Crosby beach and Rimrose valley, as well as many parks and we love getting out into nature. We’re new to rover so don’t have many reviews just yet but have had plenty of great reviews from people we’ve been minding for privately for anyone who needs one. We’re both very confident with dogs and want you to feel assured they’d be in great care. We’re happy to do a meet and greet before hand to get to know us, and of course your dog. We’re totally aware that a dog is someone’s baby and want to assure anyone who chooses us that they’ll be in great hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pooch soon! I work from home Monday to Friday and will sometimes have clients I need to see of a weekend. About: Having always been around Dogs, Cats and Aquatics, I have a long history of pet care. Additionally, I have experience with pets with complex medical needs, along with pets of all ages - from over-eager babies to over-opinionated elders. Every circumstance is different, so I try my best to curate my services and tailor them to your needs specifically. I have also had the joy of working with many different breeds and mixes over the years, including all sizes. I currently House and Pet sit full-time. I am open to short or long-term bookings, and am happy to travel if needed, even outside of the distance marked on Rover. Safety is my first priority, and I'd much prefer to be safe than sorry. Any approved off-lead walking is off the table until not only I trust the dog, but the dog trusts me. If I'm not confident in a dogs socialising, or their reactiveness, I will keep to quieter walks or presence in the home. Equally, I will not force a pet to interact with me, a stranger; I'll encourage cuddles, play and routine to maintain a sense of stability for your pets, but please don't worry at the idea of me getting offended if they stick their noses up at me - I'm not their human! Any relationship takes time, and I hope to build trust and respect not only between humans, but between any animals and I as well. I endeavour to be as respectful to your home as possible, while being as practical as possible.

About: I've had cats and dogs since I was just 1. I have always grown up and loved them unconditionally all my life. I treat every animal like family and as the friend that they are. Every animal has their own personality and I'd love to get to know your dog/cat better also 😊 I work full-time 3 days a week, on a 3 on 3 off basis. So I am available for bookings on my 3 days off work or at extra times throughout the year when I am on leave. Just enquire with a booking to see if I'm available 😊 I have a fur baby and cats of my own, that all love meeting new people. Which will give your little family member someone to have fun with if they board with me. If I am sitting in your own home, I have plenty of experience of caring for dogs and cats, as I've had them since a very young age continuously throughout my life. I treat every animal I meet as family and will give them all the best care and love that I can possibly offer.
