About: I have been an animal lover since I was a child, and have cared for various animals throughout my life. Although I am new to Rover, I have always been the go-to person to care for family and friends pets, and always treat them as my own. I have experience looking after different dog breeds of varying ages with different energy levels, temperaments and particular needs. If I have the opportunity to spend time with dogs I will take it, even on my travels I will visit a dog rescue or care for the stray dogs. I have a Labrador named Daisy who is 13 years old and treat her like my child, so rest assured I know the importance of caring for your pup! I am currently working part-time meaning I have a flexible schedule. I am available Monday mornings and afternoons, Tuesday early mornings and afternoons, Wednesday and Thursday before 9am and after 3pm. Weekends are more flexible as I am off two days and alternate a 4 hour shift on a Friday/Saturday so have plenty of time. I live with my mum in a house which has gates at the front and side, and a fenced garden. I have a 13 year old Labrador who is very gentle and friendly.
“Charlie had his first overnight stay with Kate, and we couldn’t be happier with how it went. She kept in regular contact throughout, sending photos and videos to keep us updated on how things were. It was clear that Charlie was well looked after and having a great time. We can’t recommend Kate highly enough.”

“We had a great experience with Ashleigh and would happily book again. We were kept updated with messages and photos and our dog had a great weekend playing with Theo! Thank you for taking such good care of Finn!”

“Sarge absolutely loved his time with Lauren, he made himself at home straight away and Lauren sent lots of pupdates, it was so reassuring to know that Sarge was comfortable and being well looked after. I wish I lived more locally because I’d have a dog sitter for life with Lauren if I could. Thank you so much!”

“Jacqueline was amazing!! She took such good care of our big dog Dante, attending to his needs. She sent lots of photos which was great. Communication was brilliant and we would definitely be booking with Jacqueline again!!”

“Angus was the first sitter we have used through the Rover service. We could not be happier with the way he cared for Della, our 12 yr old Patterdale Terrier. We received regular updates throughout the duration of her stay and she received such loving care.”

“Oreo recently stayed with Karen and Paul for 12 nights. She was well cared for in a home-from-home environment in a lovely setting. I was sent updates on how she was doing, including pictures. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Karen again when we next need a sitter. Thanks again, Karen and Paul!”

“It was Roxy's first time away from home and we were both nervous, but Helen was an excellent host. She made Roxy immediately feel welcome and comfortable and she sent me lots of photos to reassure me that all was ok. I would definitely be happy for Helen look after Roxy again. Thank you Helen!”

“We’re so pleased we found Melissa to look after Lotus. We were quite nervous at first due to some past bad experiences with dog care, but she completely put our minds at ease. Lotus clearly had an amazing time, made two new best friends, and was so well cared for. Melissa kept us updated with messages about their adventures, which really reassured us while we were away. She followed all our care instructions perfectly and went above and beyond. It’s obvious she genuinely loves dogs, and Lotus was absolutely spoilt. We’ll definitely be booking with her again, it’s such a relief to know we can go away without worrying. Truly 5-star care. Highly recommended!”

“We left our dog Nacho with Maria and her family for a weekend and they did amazing job! We were getting updated a few times a day with plenty photos and videos, Maria did exactly as directed for care after Nacho,no problems .Lovely family, would highly recommend! X”

About: I’ve spent my career working with dogs and have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for them in a variety of professional roles. My background includes working in boarding kennels, serving as a Local Authority Dog Enforcement Officer, and most recently as a Professional Live Body Detection Dog Handler. These roles have given me the opportunity to work with dogs of every breed, size, age and personality, and have helped me build a calm, confident approach to caring for them. I’m confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, snuggling on the sofa or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy and well cared for. I’m also happy to administer oral medication and follow any specific instructions to keep their routine as normal as possible. What sets me apart is my understanding of dog behaviour and body language. Through years of professional experience, I’ve learned how to recognise when a dog is feeling relaxed, excited, anxious or uncomfortable, allowing me to respond appropriately and help them feel safe and secure. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with additional needs. I understand the importance of patience, consistency and gentle care, and I always take the time to get to know each dog's individual personality and needs. Your dog's safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, so I’ll treat your dog with the same love, care and respect I would my own. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is in experienced, reliable and caring hands. I'm currently available full time and have a flexible schedule, so I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and companionship throughout the day. From September, I'll be working full time, but I'll continue to offer pet care on the weekends, where I'll have dedicated time to give your dog the care, exercise and affection they deserve. I always make sure every pet receives my full attention and stays happy, safe and comfortable while in my care. I will take the time to get to know each dog's routine, personality and individual needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress free. I will always follow your instructions, including feeding routines, exercise requirements, medication schedules and any behavioural or medical needs. I live in a clean, comfortable apartment with access to a front garden for quick toilet breaks. As the front garden is not fully enclosed, I will never allow dogs off lead there. Your dog's safety is my top priority, so all outdoor time will be closely supervised. Dogs staying with me will receive regular walks tailored to their age, breed and energy level, along with plenty of play, companionship and enrichment indoors. I'll ask you about their usual routine, favourite walking routes, favourite treats and toys, any dislikes, allergies or medical conditions, and how they interact with other people, dogs and animals while out on walks. You're welcome to bring your dog's own lead, collar or harness, along with their bed or blanket, favourite toys and anything that smells like home to help them settle in and feel relaxed. For safety, dogs will always remain on lead when out walking until we've built trust and I know their recall and behaviour well. I'll also ask to see that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. I'll make sure I have your veterinary details and emergency contact information before your dog's stay, so I'm fully prepared should they ever be needed. My priority is to provide a safe, calm and caring environment where both you and your dog feel completely confident and comfortable. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, safe and receiving the very best care.

“Laura was absolutely fab!! It was our first time leaving our girls, and we felt so good knowing Laura was there. “Fay was absolutely fantastic with Albert! She came to meet us before and completely understood Albert's needs. I would recommend Fay to anyone who is looking for dog care she deserves 5 stars!”

“I was a bit nervous as I’ve never used a pet sitter before and Gaia is my first pet. We had communicated online for a couple of days and Sarah was so helpful and informative. She then came round a few weeks before the booking to meet Gaia, myself and see around my home. This definitely helped my nerves but naturally they were still there. However, I had nothing to worry about as Sarah was more brilliant than I imagined. Firstly, she’s extremely lovely but she also was quickly tuned in to Gaia’s behaviour/personality. She happily followed any instructions I gave (Gaia’s routine); her communication was fantastic and most importantly to me, Sarah looked after my home & cat as if they were her own. I’m so over the moon with the service she provided and am definitely booking with her again. Thank you Sarah! X”

About: 🖤 I have 2 labrador’s at home so I am no stranger to larger dogs. I am welcome to any dogs/cats and I am always happy to help. My dogs are ones that get excited seeing other dogs on walks so if your dog is like that it isn’t a problem as I can handle the situation accordingly and won’t be startled by a pull on the lead. I have a puppy so I am very prepared for any hyper dogs and I know that a good way to tire my dog out is a game of catch and a good walk. I am a part time waitress having most weekdays free and only working a few hours in the evenings. I do work most weekends but if I was desperately needed time off is simple to book so depending on the situation I am more than able to ask for that. I will always have availability all day mon/tue and also available until 5pm wed/thurs. For weekends my rota changes so i won’t always have the same availability each weekend but I will add it to my profiles calendar about a week or so in advance. At someone else’s home I will always ask what they are comfortable with and will make sure to be respectful of your wishes. If a dog is ever at my home I have a large back garden which is fenced and if your dog is friendly I also have 2 cuddly labrador’s to keep them company.

About: I run my own local dog walking business and specialise in small, carefully matched group walks. I prefer keeping my groups relaxed and chilled, so every dog gets proper attention, plenty of sniffing time and the chance to actually enjoy their walk without being lost in a huge pack. I’ve also have experience working within a dog rescue and have experience caring for deaf, blind and elderly dogs, as well as dogs who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I love getting to know each dog’s individual personality and quirks, and I’ll always make sure they’re placed with dogs who genuinely suit them. As a lifelong dog owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be trusting someone else with your dog. I’m reliable, attentive and always happy to send photo updates, because I know owners love seeing that their dog is safe, happy and having an adventure. I currently offer dog walks on Wednesdays and Fridays, usually during the morning. In warmer weather, I prioritise earlier walks where possible so dogs can enjoy themselves safely and comfortably before the hottest part of the day. I keep my availability limited so I can give each dog reliable, unrushed care. I am canine first aid trained and carry a first aid kit on walks. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, temperament, triggers and individual needs on solo walks initially. Dogs are carefully matched for small group walks, and I never place a dog into a group unless I’m confident they’ll be comfortable. I use secure leads and equipment, keep owners updated, and always put safety before squeezing in extra dogs.

I can do morning, lunch and evening animal walks I have a fenced garden that has lots do for animals. They will love it plus the house needs work so we allow the freedom of the animals
