Jodi was absolutely incredible with my cavapoo Ted. From start to finish, she sent regular pictures and updates, bought him a new toy that he absolutely loves, and gave him constant attention. Ted came back so happy and sleepy after a fun night and day away. I can’t recommend Jodi highly enough. She goes above and beyond for every dog she looks after and cares deeply for them.

Rachel was great with Delphi. Giving her the perfect balance of activity and snuggles. Kept us updated regularly with pics and vids. We felt at ease leaving Delphi with Rachel and was a massive relief to know Delphi was being well looked after whilst we moved house! Thanks Rachel:)

Rhian is really a star. She made me feel so comfortable with leaving my puppy with her and you can tell how much she loves and cares for each dog she looks after. I received constant updates and he was the happiest boy ever - don’t think he wanted to come home. Honestly couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your pooches. Amazing from beginning to end.

About: I’ve raised two dogs from puppyhood, so I understand every stage of their development - from house training and boundless puppy energy to the gentler care seniors need. Our family dog is now 13, so I’m experienced with managing age-related conditions (such as heart issues and arthritis) and adjusting activities to each dog’s pace. Whether your dog needs a calm companion at home or a brisk lunchtime walk to burn off energy, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they need, with lots of love along the way. I work full time from home, so am available as a companion for your dog through the day. I can take them on walks at lunch and/or after work, and can make sure they have frequent access to outside if required. At the weekend, we can extend walk times to suit your dog’s fitness. We are expecting a baby in January 2026, so our availability is reduced from then while we settle in as a family. We have a fenced garden, and many cosy dog beds dotted about the house. We have a stair gate to fence off upstairs if you’re worried about access to stairs, and our downstairs has LVT flooring which is not too slippy (geriatric dog approved!) so they shouldn’t have any difficulty scamping around. We also have a 13-year-old male Pugalier, who loves the company of other dogs. He will be happy to settle down next to them for a snooze, or watch avidly while your dog plays with toys.

Stephanie is also very much a doggy person who has her own dog Millie who also is delightful. Honey has been to stay with Stephanie and Millie for a long weekend, and being a 7 month old pup, we’re still at the building confidence stage and this was to be Honeys very first big girls weekend away. Stephanie has made this a fantastic experience for her and I knew from our first meet amd greet a couple of weeks earlier, that Honey would be happy staying there. Shes had an awesome weekend so thank you so much Stephanie! Heres to the next time xx

I’ve never left Rollo with anyone like this before, as I’ve always been nervous that other people won’t understand his “quirks”. I’m pleased to say that Leah proved me completely wrong! From her first message she was absolutely lovely and so caring towards Rollo (and me whilst I was a big ball of anxiety!). Rollo loved his stay with her and I was reassured by the pictures and updates I received throughout the day. I’m sure Rollo will be back to stay with her again soon. Thank you so much Leah for your help - especially being so accommodating when it was arranged at such short notice. X

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on pet-care experience - and one very stubborn 2 year old mini sausage dog- who’s also my best friend ❤️ I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so I’m fluent in tail wags, belly rub requests, and puppy dog eyes.” Friends and family have relied on me for years to look after their little ones, and I’m basically the cool uncle.. As I have just started back uni, I am very flexible and reliable. I will make it my TOP priority that your pet will get the same love, care, and spoiling I give my own little sausage boss. Before I started back to uni, I had been working full time so I understand how difficult it can be to find someone too look after your pet but to also trust someone. You would never have to worry about this, your pet would be in the best hands 🐶 When I’m not on placement ( February 4 weeks & the summer) I am pretty flexible- I can offer weekdays and weekends. (AM & PM) In my home, pets get a safe, cozy space, with plenty of playtime and lots of attention. I follow each pets routine closely including feeding, walks and any special requirements. In owners home - same applies however I keep pets comfortable by sticking to their familiar environment and routine. I provide regular updates, photos and videos.

Pet care is already part of my daily routine, so I can easily care for other pets too! My home is clean and cozy —perfect for pets to relax indoors. The garden isn’t suitable for play, so I make sure they stay safe inside and get plenty of exercise through walks and playtime. I always keep the floors clear because my own dogs love sniffing around for things to eat! If a guest dog doesn’t get along with mine, I can easily keep them separated between upstairs and downstairs. I also have pet cameras at home, so I can always keep an eye on them and make sure everyone’s happy and safe.

About: I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for both young and senior pets. With puppies and younger animals, I’m patient and consistent, helping reinforce basic training, routines, and good behaviour. For senior pets, I understand the importance of a gentler approach, including administering medication if needed, sticking to specific routines, and making sure they’re comfortable at all times. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs—whether that’s high-energy playtime, long walks, or just quiet companionship. I keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you always have peace of mind. I’m currently only working part time. So i have plenty of free time to take care of animals and provide them with love and attention they deserve. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm space where pets can relax and feel comfortable. I stick closely to their usual feeding, walking, and sleeping routines, and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also supervise interactions at all times and ensure the environment is secure and pet-friendly. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. I follow all instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walks, medication, and any specific care needs. I make sure pets feel reassured in their familiar environment by giving them lots of attention and maintaining their normal routine. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates with messages and photos so owners feel at ease.

About: Hi, I’m Lydia, 29 years old and dogs have always been a huge part of my life 🐶 I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, from growing up around family pets to regularly looking after dogs for friends and family. I have 8 years experience of long haul cabin crew and I am looking for a new career, keeping my feet on the ground!☺️ Over the years, I’ve built a strong understanding of different breeds, temperaments, and behaviours, and how to adapt my care so each dog feels safe, calm, and happy. I offer reliable dog walking services tailored to your dog’s needs, with 30-minute or 1-hour walks available. I can walk up to 4 dogs at once, ensuring they are carefully matched by size, temperament and energy levels so every walk stays safe, controlled and enjoyable. Safety is always my top priority. I use secure leads, avoid unsafe or overstimulating situations, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and surroundings at all times. I am Pet First Aid Trained. A typical day with a dog in my care includes structured walks, plenty of sniffing and enrichment time, toilet breaks, fresh water, and calm attention so they feel settled and content. For longer visits, I also include feeding and companionship, keeping their routine as normal as possible. I believe clear communication with owners is essential. I’ll always provide updates after walks and visits, and I’m happy to share photos and messages so you can feel confident your dog is safe and happy. I’m easy to reach, responsive, and always honest if anything changes or needs attention🫶🏼 Weekly, I organise bookings carefully to ensure I’m not stretched too thin and that each dog gets the level of care they need. I leave enough flexibility in my schedule for exercise, cleaning, preparation, and maintaining a calm environment at home. I also build in time for communication with owners, including updates, photos, and messages so they feel reassured and connected while their pet is with me. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean and fully dog-friendly environment designed to help dogs feel safe and settled from the moment they arrive. My home is quiet and structured, with a relaxed atmosphere that avoids unnecessary noise or stress. Dogs are supervised throughout their stay and never left alone for long periods, ensuring they always feel secure and cared for. I have a secure fenced back garden for them to roam in too. I maintain a consistent daily routine that includes regular walks, toilet breaks, feeding times, play, cuddles and plenty of rest. Dogs have their own comfortable space to relax and unwind, as well as supervised time interacting with me throughout the day. I take care to follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including any dietary needs or specific instructions from owners. If I am caring for more than one dog at a time, I carefully assess temperament and compatibility before accepting bookings. I manage introductions slowly and safely to ensure everyone is comfortable, and I always prioritise a calm and balanced environment. Safety is central to everything I do in my home. I keep doors, gates, and entry points secure at all times, and I closely monitor dogs for behaviour, stress, or health changes. In an emergency, I act immediately by contacting the owner and seeking veterinary care if needed, staying calm and focused to ensure the best outcome for the pet.

About: It’s safe to say that I absolutely love dogs, every breed, every size, and every personality. From tiny Chihuahuas to big German Shepherds, I truly believe every dog is unique and reflects something special about the people who love them. That’s what makes them so fun, lovable, and rewarding to be around. Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and spending time with them genuinely brings me happiness. I’ve been surrounded by dogs for most of my life and have always felt a natural connection with animals. The most special bond I’ve ever had was with a Dalmatian named Happy, whom I helped raise together with a close friend in Germany (I’m blonde in the photos). Being involved in his daily care taught me how to balance love, patience, and gentle discipline — building trust while encouraging good behaviour. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many dogs belonging to friends, neighbours, and family. A lot of the dogs you see in my photos are ones I’ve regularly looked after and built strong bonds with. From energetic puppies to older, more relaxed dogs, I always adapt my approach to suit each dog’s individual personality and needs. I now live in England with my partner, Oliver, who shares my love for animals. We have a cosy home with a fenced patio where dogs can safely relax, play, and feel comfortable. Oliver also grew up with dogs (especially Buddy the Goldie!) and is just as caring and attentive. Together, we create a calm, loving environment where pets feel completely at home. Because I have a flexible work routine and can organise my time freely, pet care fits very naturally into my everyday life. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, company, affection, and consistency throughout the day — whether for boarding, walks, daycare, or drop-in visits. I truly enjoy long walks, peaceful routines, and creating a safe and happy space for every dog in my care. I also have experience with other animals, including cats and birds, as I grew up around parrots through my Brazilian background. For me, pet sitting is much more than just a job, it’s something I genuinely love. You can trust that your pet will be treated with kindness, patience, and care, just like I treated my biggest love, Happy 🖤🤍 Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine, as I work remotely and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to fully adapt my day around the needs of the dogs in my care. During the week, I can take them out for a walk early in the morning, again in the evening, and also fit in walks, playtime, or quick trips outside throughout the day. Because I’m working from home, I’m always nearby to give them attention, company, and care whenever they need it. I also have the flexibility to take breaks when it suits the dog’s routine, whether that’s heading out for a walk, spending time playing, or simply giving them some affection and reassurance. This means they’re rarely alone and always well looked after. I live in a house with a fenced patio, so your dog can safely enjoy outdoor time whenever they like. Overall, my lifestyle allows me to provide a consistent, attentive, and loving environment throughout the day. When I care for pets in my own home or in the owner’s home, I always make sure the environment is safe and free from anything they could accidentally get into. I keep a close eye on them at all times and give them my full attention, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere where they can feel comfortable and secure. Additional information: I’d also like to mention that my partner has a small fish tank at home with a few tiny fish (similar to goldfish, I don’t know the species). These do not have any interaction with visiting pets and usually go completely unnoticed. If a dog were ever to show interest or feel unsettled by it, the fish tank or fish can easily be moved to another room, as he has another fish tank in another room, to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m not involved in caring for the fish, my partner takes care of them, so they don’t play any role in the pet care I provide. For this reason, I haven’t listed them as pets on my profile, as they don’t affect the environment or the care of visiting animals in any way.

They all got on great however and she sent us some lovely videos of the puppies playing together in her lounge :). You could tell that she loves animals and is used to caring for them. About: I love providing care for pet parents, and showing their pets as much love as I show my own. I care for my friends dogs when they're away and they have an opportunity to socialise with Bella (the toy poodle) and Oscar (the labradoodle). We'd love to open our home to other pets so they have somewhere to go when their paw parents are out at work. Bella and Oscar love being around other dogs (and people). I work flexibly and the days in which I accept referrals are on my non-working days. This is to ensure that I can provide my full attention to our guests. I have a fenced garden and friendly fur children who are there to keep your pet company when they're bored of humans. I will provide close supervision of your pet at all times, and I will not leave them unattended in the home.

About: Hi! I’m a passionate dog lover based in the local area, and I’d love to care for your dog as if they were my own. I share my home with Hugo, my friendly and affectionate Staffie cross, who has truly cemented my love for dogs. Through him, I’ve gained hands-on experience with day-to-day care, exercise needs, and understanding each dog’s unique personality. I really enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s long countryside walks, relaxed strolls around the neighbourhood, or letting dogs explore safely and happily at their own pace. I’m attentive, patient, and always tuned in to what a dog needs to feel comfortable and content. I strongly believe that dogs thrive best in environments where they feel safe, secure, and loved. That’s why I offer in-home boarding in their own familiar surroundings, helping to reduce stress and maintain their normal routine. Staying in their own home provides a calm, reassuring alternative to kennels, where they can relax in the place they know best while still receiving plenty of care, companionship, and attention. About: I started Rover in Autumn 2023, but I’d had experience of looking after pets before. I’ve had 2 cats while I was living with my parents and both of them had kitties - a British cat and a Canadian Sphynx. Furthermore, I can say that I adore animals, and would love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away. Helping however I can. I enjoy spending time with animals and playing with them. Now we have a ragdoll kitten of our own who brings so much joy to our lives! If you have multiple animals at home, please feel free to message me to discuss reduced rates. At the moment, I’m mainly available in the evenings but can be on an odd weekday. Feel free to send me a request to find out my availability anyway :) I live in a house with my husband who also enjoys spending time with our little visitors whenever he has free time. We don’t have pets of our own, and have a fenced garden that is especially useful for escape artists. I watch all the pets carefully and make sure that they feel comfortable. We have parks, a little forest and other nice routes nearby for walking dogs. If I need to go to the owner’s home, I will strictly follow the given instructions.

I've also organised a dog walk at lymm dam for all local dog walkers for the Romanian dogs charity which was a good turn out! I'm working full time but working from home 1 day a week but at the moment happy to have a dog any day as I'm currently working from home full time.I live over the road from a large park so i can take the dog out on my lunch and after work if needed.I help my grandma with feeding and walking her dog and I grew up with two labradors in the family. Really miss having a little companion but it's not quite the right time to be a 24.7 owner just yet! :( I have a fenced backyard with a secure locked gate and a clean home so I'm sure your dog will be very cosy and comfy :) Working from home Monday to Friday so i will be able to keep your fur baby entertained with treats and a few walks on my break and after the working day is done :) I'm available for boarding whenever! I work from home Mondays and Fridays :) Happy to take on a dog for a weekend, a week or 2 weeks or more. I would only tend to only leave them if it's out of my control ie office days such as Tuesday to Thursday but I'm home for 4pm I work 5 miles away . I have a fenced locked gate in my back yard so it's very secure.I also am happy to have a crate if they are crate trained I have the space.

About: Hey there! I’m Meghan and I am a scientist working for a medical device company. I am a fitness and nature enthusiast who absolutely loves all animals, and especially dogs, but with working in the office during the week, it isn’t feasible for me to have my own. So until then, it would be an absolute pleasure for me to help care for yours. I used to have dogs of my own growing up and dedicated a lot of time training, walking and caring for them and they were just my absolute world. When you book with me I can assure you your dog(s) will be in great care. I love to plan either a long walk in the country side or a day of cuddles, or both - depending on their needs. I don’t like to take more than one separate booking at a time a time, as I prefer to give your dog(s) my full time and attention, and so that I can ensure your dog(s) are in a safe environment. Please don’t hesitate to give me a shout to you need my assistance, I can’t wait to meet your much loved pets! 😄 I am working full time Monday to Friday so can be available Friday early evenings until Sunday evenings to have your dog(s) boarding with me. Once I know the booking is in, I’ll ensure the weekend is kept free as I very much like to devote all my time and attention to your dog(s) so they have the most comfortable and positive experience. I will be sure to update you with how they’re doing throughout the stay and provide high spec photographs (using my fancy high tech digital camera sometimes!) For other peoples home I would like to do a meet and greet before hand so I can ensure I get all the details I need about how to care for your dog(s) and the same would apply for them coming to my place. You’re more than welcome to come to my place to see where your dog(s) would be staying. I have an enclosed small courtyard garden for them to come and go as they please safely. I totally understand it can be nerve wracking leaving your beloved dog(s) with someone new, so please ask for as much information as you need.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs on and off whilst being at University. I love meeting new dogs and walking them and tailoring my care for different needs. I have a senior dog myself, so I am used to caring for more temperamental and frightened dogs with sight and sound problems. I also have a 1 year old puppy who is full of energy and needs lots of attention, but he is scared of other dogs. This makes me very adaptable for walks and care. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for caring for your dogs! My shifts are very flexible and I am adaptable to most schedules! I am able to tailor the environment for the dog’s needs, whether that be playful or peaceful. I provide a secure and safe environment.

Having to need a holiday, we didn't want to put our "baby" in a kennel. We found Sharon on Rover and the communication was very easy and Sharon was very helpful in explaining everything about Rover and how the process works. We soon met up and agreed that it was all good to go. Whilst on holiday, we were missing Millie terribly and hoping that all was OK. Sharon soon alleviated any concerns as sent us regular pictures and videos showing that Millie was enjoying her holiday as much as us and definitely put our minds at ease. Millie looked very happy, got regular walks and even got to make new doggy friends. Coming home was a disaster as our flight was delayed by 13 hours, but again, Sharon said there was no problem and was happy to keep Millie for an additional night. We cannot recommend Sharon high enough and for anybody who like us, doesn't like to leave their beloved pets at home, would recommend using Sharon and your pet will be looked after and be happy. Glad we found this service and would definitely use Sharon again no question

About: While our house isn’t huge, we have a secure fenced garden and are very close to a lovely park, so dogs will still get lots of exercise and outdoor time. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and we’d treat your dog as one of our own — with love, patience, and plenty of attention. We’re a loving family of four who genuinely miss having a dog in our home after sadly losing our beloved dog TJ last year at the age of 15½. TJ was part of our family from puppyhood through to his senior years, so we understand the patience, care, and attention dogs need at every stage of life — especially older dogs who may need extra support and gentleness. In his later years, TJ was blind and unsteady on his feet, so we became very experienced in creating a calm, safe, and comforting environment for him. Caring for him taught our daughters kindness, patience, and how important pets are as family members. Our cat Stanley absolutely adored TJ — they were best friends — and since TJ passed away, Stanley has definitely missed having a dog around the house. Both myself and my partner (Paul) work from home full time, meaning your dog will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of attention, company, cuddles, and toilet breaks throughout the day. We also have two caring daughters aged 10 and 8 who love animals and enjoy helping with walks, playtime, and giving lots of affection. We have a fenced back garden that is accessible throughout the day and also live close to Victoria Park which is perfect for walking dogs! For dogs that don't mind car rides, we love taking trips to the beach and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise. We will always follow your routine for feeding.

We were incredibly lucky to find Leah for a last-minute 9 day booking for Billy. From the moment we read her reviews, we felt confident, and despite her being quite a distance from us, it was completely worth the journey. Leah is everything you hope for in a dog sitter and more. She clearly loves animals to her core, and Billy absolutely thrived in her care. She went above and beyond throughout his stay, even training him to respond to a dog whistle, which amazed us. We also received the most brilliant updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from every message just how cared for, happy, and loved Billy was. Finding someone you trust with your dog is priceless, and we genuinely couldn’t be happier or more grateful to Leah. We would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for exceptional care for their pet.
