About: I’ve raised two dogs from puppyhood, so I understand every stage of their development - from house training and boundless puppy energy to the gentler care seniors need. Our family dogs both lived to be 14, so I’m experienced with managing age-related conditions (such as heart issues and arthritis) and adjusting activities to each dog’s pace. Whether your dog needs a calm companion at home or a brisk lunchtime walk to burn off energy, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they need, with lots of love along the way. I work full time from home, so am available as a companion for your dog through the day. I can take them on walks at lunch and/or after work, and can make sure they have frequent access to outside if required. At the weekend, we can extend walk times to suit your dog’s fitness. We are expecting a baby in January 2026, so our availability is reduced from then while we settle in as a family. We have a fenced garden, and many cosy dog beds dotted about the house. We have a stair gate to fence off upstairs if you’re worried about access to stairs, and our downstairs has LVT flooring which is not too slippy (geriatric dog approved!) so they shouldn’t have any difficulty scamping around. We also have a 13-year-old male Pugalier, who loves the company of other dogs. He will be happy to settle down next to them for a snooze, or watch avidly while your dog plays with toys.
About: I've had pets all my life, growing up with a huge English sheep dog as my first best friend. I now live in Woolston with my husband and children age 17, 14 and 6. We have a Shorkie dog, a British blue shorthair cat, Russian tortoise, hens and fish indoors and outdoors. Pets are life around here! I'm fully DBS checked as I work from home as a tutor. I can carry out home visits for all kinds of pets and am happy to board cats overnight (your cat will have its own space to be in during the day and night). I currently work from home 90% of the time so I'm around to take care of pets and provide them with plenty of attention. I hold a fully DBS check because I'm an online teacher. I can provide house visits once or twice daily and I also offer boarding for cats (separate area of the house to where my own cat lives).

When I care for pets in my own home or in the owner’s home, I always make sure the environment is safe and free from anything they could accidentally get into. I keep a close eye on them at all times and give them my full attention, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere where they can feel comfortable and secure. Additional information: I’d also like to mention that my partner has a small fish tank at home with a few tiny fish (similar to goldfish, I don’t know the species). These do not have any interaction with visiting pets and usually go completely unnoticed. If a dog were ever to show interest or feel unsettled by it, the fish tank or fish can easily be moved to another room, as he has another fish tank in another room, to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m not involved in caring for the fish, my partner takes care of them, so they don’t play any role in the pet care I provide. For this reason, I haven’t listed them as pets on my profile, as they don’t affect the environment or the care of visiting animals in any way.

About: I have recently graduated with a degree in Zoology with Animal Behaviour and so have vast knowledge on animal care, as well as being a huge animal lover! In the past I've owned several hamsters, rabbits, ducks and other birds, so I am experienced with a variety of animals. I currently volunteer at a local kennels as well as with a dog walking charity for the elderly and terminally ill. I've also previously spent 2 weeks volunteering in a Wildlife Sanctuary in Ecuador. About: I started Rover in Autumn 2023, but I’d had experience of looking after pets before. I’ve had 2 cats while I was living with my parents and both of them had kitties - a British cat and a Canadian Sphynx. Furthermore, I can say that I adore animals, and would love the opportunity to care for your pet while you’re away. Helping however I can. I enjoy spending time with animals and playing with them. I've also organised a dog walk at lymm dam for all local dog walkers for the Romanian dogs charity which was a good turn out! I'm working full time but working from home 1 day a week but at the moment happy to have a dog any day as I'm currently working from home full time.I live over the road from a large park so i can take the dog out on my lunch and after work if needed.I help my grandma with feeding and walking her dog and I grew up with two labradors in the family. Really miss having a little companion but it's not quite the right time to be a 24.7 owner just yet! :( I have a fenced backyard with a secure locked gate and a clean home so I'm sure your dog will be very cosy and comfy :) Working from home Monday to Friday so i will be able to keep your fur baby entertained with treats and a few walks on my break and after the working day is done :) I'm available for boarding whenever! I work from home Mondays and Fridays :) Happy to take on a dog for a weekend, a week or 2 weeks or more. I would only tend to only leave them if it's out of my control ie office days such as Tuesday to Thursday but I'm home for 4pm I work 5 miles away . I have a fenced locked gate in my back yard so it's very secure.I also am happy to have a crate if they are crate trained I have the space.

About: I am an avid outdoors person who loves taking their dog on long walks and hikes. I have looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities and would love the opportunity to look after yours too. I will be free all day on Wednesdays with no fuss of early drop offs or lates pick ups and can occasionally do the odd Saturday.
