WE ARE FULLY INSURED AND LICENCED WITH BOLTON COUNCIL - (5 Star Rating) Ref: 129745. For the health and best interests of all dogs cared for and under the terms of our Licence all dogs we take for boarding MUST be up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatment, this must be completed 4 weeks before commencement of boarding. (VETERINARY PROOF REQUIRED). All dogs must have ID number (microchip.tattoo). If your dog does not meet the above requirements - we are unable to accept them for boarding.. For your dogs best interest and welfare I strongly recommend that you only board your dog with a fully licenced dog boarder who has been assessed by the Local Authority as suitable for the care of your dogs. Please be aware there may be other dog boarders who may not have been assessed as suitable by a qualified official which includes annual assessments. And this may result in insurance and welfare implications, therefore please ask your boarder (if not myself) for a copy of their licence and star rating assessment, which should be obligatory displayed with the Licence number. Hello - we are Janet and Kevan - If you are looking for a good home for your pet whilst you enjoy your own well earned holiday, then we can provide your best friend with a caring home for their stay. Alternatively, should you just require your dog to be cared for in the short term such as a weekend break or other circumstances, then we would be more than willing to liaise with you. We have previously been hosts for a company caring for dogs, before deciding to care for the dogs and liaise with the owners directly (through Dog Buddy/Rover). We believe this gives the owners peace of mind, particularly after a pre-boarding meeting where we can discuss your requirements and your dogs needs/routine. We are situated in the Bradshaw area of Bolton and our garden backs onto Jumbles Country Park where there are lots of lovely walks. Our garden is large and secure. Weather permitting - your dog will have fun days with long walks along canals and countryside, and possibly coastal walks. Your dog will be cared for, pampered and exercised. We will send you photos whilst your dog is on holiday with us. We advise a meet and greet beforehand to ensure your dog is comfortable in the new surroundings and that everybody is happy. The dogs live in the home as family pets. The premises has its own entrance and not shared access. All areas/rooms within the home have access. We have sufficient space available to be able to keep dogs separately if required. We have large garden space at the back of the property for the dogs to enjoy. Please provide: bedding/food/treats/toys/medication (if applicable). Happy Dog, Happy Holiday, Happy You.

Janet took care of Toby extremely well. She was very sensitive to his needs and kept me up to date with photos and updates about him. He loved her big garden and was free to roam in it. Janet is a very kind and caring person and I will be asking her to look after Toby again.
Lily was very happy and was looked after as if she was a family pet.
Thanks so much to Janet and Kevan for looking after Charlie in their home for 8 nights. Their care of him was outstanding! He had a day trip to Howarth and a ride on a steam train, a visit to the seaside so he could have a run and the beach and many long local walks. It was brilliant to see the photos and videos Janet sent us of Charlie thoroughly enjoying himself while we were on holiday. We will definitely be booking again. Thanks Amanda and Andy
Absolutely thrilled that ive found Janet to have Ted for me! I was more than happy with how welcoming she was and made me feel very at ease. She obviously loves being a boarder! Ted had so many lovely walks and came back tired out and happy! Thanks Janet!
Janet and her lovely husband looked after my dog for me and I felt like it really was a home away from home . I received regular updates and videos of him on fabulous walks . I think he had a little holiday of his own ! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Janet again and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you so much 😊

Schedule
We are available all the time during boarding as we are retired. So the dogs will not be left unattended. They will be well looked after.

Safety, trust & environment
Please read my profile. I am a professional dog boarder fully Insured and Licenced with Bolton Council. We have a large, fenced rear garden which is secure for dogs to run around. Our house is safe and secure.
A typical day
Depending on breed of dog, we walk them for up to 2 hours in the morning over the country fields/park every day. We take them out again in the afternoon/evening. Depending on the weather we sometimes have trips out to the beach /forests so they can have a good run around. We play ball /fetch in the garden. Evenings we snuggle up on the settee - in the winter in front of the log burner.
