I just finished taking my GCSEs in English and Maths, so my schedule is wide open for caring for your pet(s). My husband and I are members of Blesma, and we keep ourselves busy by attending activities with them. Other than that, I spend my days doing adult things like grocery shopping, paying bills, and other necessary things in life. In my free time I enjoy driving just to drive while blasting my music - it's the best way to relax, along with watching Youtube cat videos!

I provide whatever the cat or cats need, using the food and other supplies you leave. I know how sensitive some cat's stomachs can be regarding brands and flavours of foods and treats. If they need a before dawn feeding, or extra snuggles, or lots of stimulating playtime I can provide these things so your cat(s) doesn't miss you as much. I will also do anything that needs done while you're away such as watering plants, collecting the mail, taking the bin to the curb, leaving seed out for the outdoor birds, or anything else that needs taken care of until you return home.

I am willing to watch birds or fish if they are part of your cat pack. I am willing to attempt giving pills to your pets, as long as you can let me know if there is a sure fire way of them accepting it. I am willing to work with any type of cat whether they're shy and skittish or friendly and shedding! I will do whatever it takes, at your instructions, to make your pet(s) feel as comfortable as they would be if you were there.
A typical day
I will play with your cat using his/her favourite toy(s). Or we can watch some Youtube bird TV. If your cat wants some quiet time, I will provide a lap for snuggles and naps. I will give them the treats that you have provided when you say they tend to usually receive them. They will get all of the pets, snuggles, play, and brushing they can stand. You will receive text and/or picture and/or video updates (at least 1 per visit per day), whatever your preference is.

I moved from Ohio USA to the UK 3 years ago to marry my British soulmate. Unfortunately he is severely allergic to cats, so the cats I had in Ohio had to stay behind with my adult children. My first cat, as an adult, was my snuggly black cat Quin in 2012. He loved lap cuddles and frolicking in the yard. Unfortunately he crossed the rainbow bridge a few years later due to cancer. In 2014 we adopted a 1 year old kitty Moo Moo, she was unofficially my son's cat and still lives with him in Ohio. In 2017 we saw on Facebook a post about some kittens that had been dumped in the woods, and that's how we got Smokey. We got her when she was about 9 weeks old and she lives with my daughter in Ohio. I love being able to play with and snuggle cats, I also love watching their antics even the crazy orange ones! I owned a dog from a puppy (cocker/spaniel mix) for 16 wonderful years who loved chasing squirrels and walking to the ice cream stand with me. I also had a Lutino Cockatiel as a teenager who still lives with my mom, he enjoys dancing to music on top of a dresser that has a large mirror on it. He sings to the bird in the mirror as he dances. I currently live in Great Lever and am willing to travel up to 10 miles for a sit. I'm available to drop in up to 3 times a day, as needed, to ensure your fur babies are cared for the same way as you would.

Vickie did a great job looking after my usually shy furbaby. She's gave me plenty of updates, he looked so calm with her and clearly had a much better time than when he has been to cat boarding previously. She also left us a lovely little welcome home gift! Will definitely be using Vickie again for future getaways, highly recommend her.
Vickie has been an absolute superstar with her sitting. She gained Snowflakes trust and despite being hissed at for the first few days, by the end of the first week she was being cuddled up with. Vickie left my house clean and tidy for me to come home to. Vickie also sent me photos and videos every visit which helped keep me settled throughout my trip that Snowflake was doing well. Can’t wait to use Vickie again in a few weeks for my next trip.
I recommend Vickie! She's a wonderful, warm woman. It was my first time using the app and I was terrified, but when I met Vickie, I felt so much better. She took such great care of my cats. She sent me updates with photos every day. Thank you for the wonderful gift! My son loves the cat tea towel!
Vickie was amazing with my 2 fur babies ! Would highly reccomend anyone to use her to look after your babies while your on your travels, she provided cuddles and cute toys plus great little updates! The added biscuits and chocolate upon my return was a super cute touch ! X
